The SRI(Super Resolution Imager) with 800mm aperture primary mirror is the ground development model of the high resolution satellite camera. The SRI focal plane electronics including detector array generates the data for high-resolution images by converting incoming light into digital stream of pixel data. Since the focal plane including a detector is the basic building block of the camera system, the main system performances is directly determined by its performance. This paper measures the SRI focal plane electronics’ performance such as the dark signal, the dark signal noise, the linearity, the PRNU(Photo Response Non-Uniformity), the SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) and the sensor saturation capability. In addition, this paper verifies the various functionalities of the SRI focal plane electronics. The electrical test equipment with the specialized software and the optical test equipments such as the integrating sphere, the rotation stage and the target are implemented and used to verify these functionalities and performances.

Observations of the early photons from evolution of optical afterglows or internal shock provides the crucial clues on the nature of the bursts and environments. Hundreds of GRBs afterglow observations in multi-wavelength region have been made mainly thanks to the fast (~ 60 seconds after the trigger) localisation GRB by Swift and its fast alert to the ground telescope. It helps to improve our understandings tremendously, however many enigmas still remain, such as burst mechanism, transition prompt emission to the afterglow, early optical flash, rise phase of the early optical light curve and some missing afterglows. They could be addressed by fast slewing and multi colour and IR follow-up by future telescopes. The primary aim of UFFO/Lomonosov is to follow up optical fast ever, within a couple of seconds after trigger by onboard X-ray telescope. Its optical FOV is $30{\times}30degrees$. As a key instrument, the Slewing Mirror to redirect the optical beam from GRBs rapidly to the Ritchey-Chretien telescope. The status and launch schedule of the UFFO/Lomonosov and its test performance will be reported and prospects for the next missions will be discussed.

Purpose : N.A.P.(Neuromuscular Skeletal Plasticity) an integrative neuro-orthopedic concept to facilitate motor strategies in daily life. The primary thesis is, that treatment of body functions and structural impairments should be integrated within goal-oriented activities. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate that the functional activity itself, determines the structure. Material and Methods : A case report of a dentist with brachial plexus lesion after a motor vehicle accident is presented. The necessity for training body functions within relevant tasks is undermined by references which emphasize the importance of training realistic activities to enhance long-term changes in neural representation. Results : The treatment methods presented in this case show significant effects for the patient's ability to participate in his profession within less than a year's time after his motor vehicle accident. Conclusions : Current evidence supports the treatment methods of this concept. The inability to flex his elbow and supinate his forearm placed a considerable doubt to his ability to ever be able to participate in his profession again. Structural reorganization is possible and depends on functional demands, which need to be trained task-specifically. Single case reports may serve as the basis for further randomized controlled studies to support the efficacy of the treatment methods within the N.A.P. concept.

To realize uniform side pumping of solar lasers and improve their output power, a solar concentrating system based on off-axis parabolic mirrors is proposed. Four identical off-axis parabolic mirrors with focal length of 1,000 mm are toroidally arranged as the primary concentrator. Four two-dimensional compound parabolic concentrators (2D-CPCs) are designed as a secondary concentrator to further compress the focused spot induced by the parabolic mirrors, and the focused light is then homogenized by four rectangular diffusers and provides uniform pumping for a laser-crystal rod to achieve solar laser emission. Simulation results show that the solar power received by the laser rod, uniformity of the light spot, and output power of the solar laser are 7,872.7 W, 98%, and 351.8 W respectively. This uniform pumping configuration and concentrator design thus provide a new means for developing high-power side-pumped solid-state solar lasers.

WHO declared a global pandemic on March 11th for Corona 19. However, there is a situation where you have to go to building for face-to-face education or seminars for economic and social activities. The first check method of COVID-19 infection is to measure body temperature, so the primary entrance and exit is blocked for near-field body temperature measurement. However, since it is troublesome to check directly, thermal camera is installed at the entrance of the building, and body temperature is measured indirectly using the infrared camera to control access. In case of middle and high schools, universities, and lifelong education center, we need a system that is possible to interoperate with attendance checks and automatically recognizes whether to wear masks and can authenticate students. We proposed the system that is to confirm whether to wear a mask with a camera that is embedded in a smart mirror, and that authenticates the user through voice recognition of the user who wants to enter the building by using voice recognition technology and determines whether to enter them or not. The proposed system can check attendance if it is linked with near-field temperature measurement and attendance check APP of student's smart phone.

In this study, source criticism (an establishment of authentic text) of the Hyun-Mu Sutra(玄武經) among different editions is studied and an attempt of a new interpretation appropriate to that is attempted. The Hyun-Mu Sutra, a scripture written in 1909, began to communicate with the world through the religions of Jeungsanism. In particular, it was remarkable that The Hyun-Mu Sutra was absorbed as canon textbooks Jeonkyung(典經), the Scriptures of Daesoonjinrihoe, The Fellowship of Daesoon Truth(大巡眞理) from a loner and secret pull-out of heritage traditions. However, this scripture though written in 1909 and more than 100 years has passed, remained in a state unestablished authentic text. The Hyun-Mu Sutra is the scripture consisted of 25 pages by the religions of Jeungsanism[Gang Il-sun 姜一淳(1871~1909)]. 33 page type of Hyun-Mu Sutra has been distributed in the world until now the authentic text of The Hyun-Mu Sutra. However, as a result of the examination, diagnostic scripture(病勢文) was found to have been added by descendants. After a review of authentic text of The Hyun-Mu Sutra, it concluded that there is no diagnostic scripture in primary The Hyun-Mu Sutra. Though The Hyun-Mu Sutra is a booklet of a small amount, the notation and expression is so unique, it has been in secrecy to read its contents. Interpretation way of The Hyun-Mu Sutra up to now can be summarized in two as follows. 1) approaches by I-ching 2) approaches by ten celestrial stemps and twelve earthly branches(10干12支). Approaches by I-ching among this sometimes was supplemented with Buddhist classification methods. Nevertheless, these studies can be evaluated limited because it fails to secure authentic text of The Hyun-Mu Sutra. In this study, the contents of The Hyun-Mu Sutra was examined itemized by focusing on the following four points. 1) The icon of The Hyun-Mu Sutra(玄武經符) is similar as normal talisman(符籍) but it has other features. 2) 'Reverse Fonts'(反書體)[the opposite view of the standard fonts(正書體), reflected in the mirror fonts] and size or location used in text is not in uniform. 3) letters in scripture were pointed and points were stamped in the left and upper and lower characters. 4) "Spiritual poem" (詠歌, the Korean traditional music with a view of elegance as an origin of eco), and the music with the Five-Sounds[宮Gung, 商Sang, 角Gak, 徵Chi, 羽Wu) were related. As a result, content analysis of The Hyun-Mu Sutra is carried out in the next four points. 1) The icon of The Hyun-Mu Sutra (玄武經符) has been primarily developed by Jeungsan. 2) 'Reverse Fonts'(反書體)[the opposite view of the standard fonts(正書體), reflected in the mirror fonts] and reverse location such as '宙宇' [the reverse of '宇宙'] represents based on a new world based on a forward and reverse I-ching(正易). 3) Dot and neighbor points is a symbolic map that guides the position of lateral new world(後天) and era(人尊) 4) Spiritual poem is the entrance to achieve the Realization of Do(道通). The above can be considered as the results of this study.

Productivity of the Giant Magellan Telescope is estimated based on the annual number of papers produced by the currently operating large telescopes such as the telescope at the ESO La Silla observatory, CFHT, AAT, the Magellan telescopes, ESO VLT, Japanese Subaru, the Gemini telescopes, and the Keck telescopes. We find that the amount of papers produced by a large telescope is roughly proportional to the diameter of its primary mirror. With this fact, we estimate the SCI-paper productivity of the Giant Magellan Telescope by extrapolating the productivity of the above-mentioned large telescopes. Moreover, according to the paper written in 2001 by Benn and Sanchez, the amount of highly-cited papers produced by a large telescope is roughly proportional to the light-gathering power of the telescope or the square of the diameter. Hence, we survey the productivity of Nature-class papers of the large telescopes and extrapolate the relationship to estimate the productivity of the Nature-class papers by using the Giant Magellan telescope of a filled aperture 21.4 meters in diameter. We expect that Korean astronomers will be able to produce annually 60 SCI-class papers and 20 Nature-class papers with high scientific impact by using the telescope-time corresponding to the 10% share of the Giant Magellan Telescope.

In June 2010, Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI), the world's first ocean color observation satellite will be launched. GOCI is planned for use in real-time monitoring of the ocean environment around Korean Peninsula by daily analysis of ocean environment measurements of chlorophyll concentration, dissolved organic matter, and suspended sediments taken eight times per day for seven years. GOCI primary data will support a fishery information service and red tide forecasting, and ocean climate change research. In this paper, the development background of GOCI, user requirements, GOCI architecture, and the GOCI on-orbit operational concept are explained.

Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute has been verifying the multipurpose laser tracking system with three functions of satellite laser tracking, adaptive optics and space debris laser tracking for not only scientific research but also national space missions. The system employs an optical telescope consisting of a 100 cm primary mirror and an altazimuth mount for fast and precise tracking. The precise pointing and tracking capability in a tracking mount is considered as one of important performance metrics in the fields of automatic tracking and precise application research. So it is required to analyze a mount model for investigating pointing error factors and compensating pointing error. In this study, we investigated various factors causing static pointing errors of tracking mount and analyzed the pointing accuracy of the tracking mount at Geochang observatory by estimating mount parameters based on the least square method.

Written simultaneously with Prometheus Unbound, Shelley's "Julian & Maddalo" is a masterwork of dramatic poiesis, of doubling embedded in its couplets, dialogic debate on human nature and contrasted symbolic emblems. The emblems mirror each other and are themselves sites of generative paradox: the "heaven illumined" but "dreary tower" of the Maniac and the glorious sunsets on the "ever-shifting sand" of the Lido, a wasteland that is a place of self discovery but also of "abandonment" and barren mingling figured, inter alia, in its "amphibious weeds," a trope of the poem's personae. This essay also explores the poem's dramatic structure and various rhetorical devices, beginning with the Preface, a threshold of complex identity disguise that Shelley uses for veiled self-presentation, as in "Alastor," mirroring and literary references replete with nuanced ironies. I focus mainly on the complex figures of liminality Shelley uses to develop his own thoughts (as well as his ongoing debates with Byron) about man's potential for growth in thought, insight and empathy, in political reform and interpersonal and individual healing. Advancing Shelley's most optimistic ideas, Julian, escorted by Maddalo observes the Maniac, -- a living ruin whose pained eloquence reveals the link of eros to poiesis and the limits of the latter's ability to 'transform a world.' The Maniac is the core of muse-work (remembering, thinking and song) and Shelley presents him as its emblem. He also is prefigured in and reflects the quintessentially liminal Lido with its "barren embrace" of sea and land. Yet it is less the Maniac's feeling that his grief is "charactered in vain…on this unfeeling leaf" than Julian's rationales for leaving the site of pain that point to Shelley's final comment on poetry's transformative limits. As the primary haploids of the drama's meiosis re-combine and two of them, Maddalo and the maniac fall away, an analogy I briefly develop and embedded in the erotic dynamics of poiesis, Shelley suggests, as he did at the beginning of his poetic lyricism in "Alastor" and at its end in "the Triumph of Life"that images mislead and delude; that "the deep truth is imageless" and redemption is not in but beyond figuration.
