  • With the increasing public concerns on sustainability in construction industry around the world, a variety of standards for sustainable construction have been developed and implemented. However, most of the them focuses operation and maintenance phases and do not have been approached integrally in terms of all construction phases. Especially, considering the quantities of environmental loads occurred intensively at the construction phases, it should not be overlooked. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to deduct primary management works for reduction of the potential environmental loads at the construction phases. In order to assess them quantitatively, we conduct a survey from professionals who are in the relevant fields and analyze these data using Fuzzy-AHP.

  • Recently, color proofing in printing industry grow rapidly. If an order decide color from known color information in the case of color reproduction, we can reduce expenses and time. In color proofing the best important point must be closed proofed color to primary color and secondary color. Model-based approaches have the advantages of faster recharacterization and the opportunity of simulating product enhancements such as changes in ink properties and halftoning. In this paper, we transformed the dot area of CMYK to CIELAB color space using color reprodution models. Firstly, we measured spectral reflectance of primary color printed by Matchprint II and the data was used to find tone reproduction curve using regression equation, and than we applied at primary color model, such as Murray-Davies, Yule-Nilsen, and mixed color model, such as Kubelka--Munk, relaxed version of spectral Neugebauser. In such results, the Kubleka-Munk model resulted in the best spectral reconstruction accuracy followed by relaxed version of spectral Neugebauer model, color difference is 2.8401.

  • The primary aim of this research is to summarize and discuss the problems that the hand tool manufactiuring industry of Korea is now facing. The study was performed mainly through the interviews with hand tool industry experts. Traditional design concepts are usually oriented towards the functionality of tools but often ignore the human factors such as ease of use, comfort, etc. As a result, for hand tools, mechanical and material aspects have been considerably enhanced but human factors have still much room for improvement.

  • The importance of noodles in Korean diet is becoming greater in recent years. This article is an overview on a variety of Korean noodles including dried noodle, naengmyeon (buckwheat noodle), dangmyeon (starch noodle) and instant fried noodle. It gives also the background information on the changes of the definition of noodles. Since Koreans are the largest consumer of instant fried noodles per capita in the world, primary emphasis was placed on the development history of instant fried noodles.

  • Financial service industry has introduced and operated management systems such as information security management system (ISMS), personal information security management system, business continuity management system to protect and maintain suitably customer's financial information and financial service. This study started that it's desirable financial industry takes consideration of ISMS and it can be different types among various organizations taking consideration of culture, practical work, and guideline of information security. The study derives primary control areas of ISMS through analyzing non-conformity trends and control factors according to certification audit for finance-related organizations introduced international ISMS of ISO27001 which is well known and commonly applicable irrespective of areas in financial service industry. Through case analyses for five finance-related organizations operating ISMS, this study analyzed improvement effects of ISMS. It has a meaning as an initial research though it was difficulty in acquiring data for empirical study because of rare organizations maintaining certification in financial sector. As a result, number of non-confirmity from the first audit to three years' elapse was decreased every year. Physical and environmental security, communication and operations management, and access control having the highest frequency of non-conformity each presented 23%, 19%, and 17%, which reached 59% in total and they are derived into primary control areas. ISMS can fulfill technical, managerial, physical security issues, which have not been treated importantly in financial industry. In addition, this study presented that ISMS can be an effective management system applicable for financial service industry.

  • Under U.S. Antidumping law, dumping occurs when 'subject merchandise' is imported into the United States and sold at less than 'fair value'. The administration of U.S. antidumping law is shared between the U.S. Department of Commerce(USDOC) and the U.S. International Trade Commission(USITC). USDOC's task is to determine whether imports are being dumped, and if so, to estimate the margin of dumping. In determining whether an industry in the United States is materially injured or threatened with material injury, or the establishment of an industry in the United States is materially retarded, by reason of the subject imports, the USITC must first define the 'like product' and the 'domestic industry'. One of the crucial factors on antidumping measures is the interpretation's scope of the 'like product' and the 'domestic industry', leading the most controversial issues in U.S. antidumping law. The primary purpose of this paper is to examine the 'domestic industry' and 'like product' considering U.S. antidumping law. Most USITC's determinations regarding like product and industry as flexible conception have been supported by the U.S. Courts.

  • Purpose: The primary aim of this study is to investigate the current issues in the leisure sports tourism and propose viable solutions based on a comprehensive review of existing literature. The specific objectives are to: (1) Identify the key challenges facing the leisure sports tourism industry. (2) Analyze the impact of these challenges on the industry's growth and sustainability. (3) Review and synthesize existing research to propose evidence-based solutions. Research design, data and methodology: The preliminary search yielded an extensive list of articles. These articles underwent a rigorous screening process based on their titles and abstracts. The inclusion criteria were: (1) studies focused specifically on the leisure sports tourism industry, (2) empirical research providing data on the identified issues, and (3) peer-reviewed journal articles. Results: The leisure sports tourism industry faces several pressing issues requiring effective solutions to ensure sustainability and growth. This section provides four critical solutions addressing the identified challenges: environmental sustainability, infrastructure and facility management, seasonality and economic impact, and health and safety concerns. Conclusions: The findings highlight several actionable solutions to the current issues faced by the leisure sports tourism industry. This industry can achieve a more stable and sustainable growth trajectory by addressing environmental sustainability, infrastructure and facility management, seasonality, and health and safety concerns.

  • Compared to LC resonance, LCL resonance has distinct advantages such as a large resonant capability, low voltage and current stresses of the power device, constant voltage or current output characteristics, and fault-tolerance capability. Thus, LCL resonant compensation is employed for a movable Inductive Contactless Power Transfer (ICPT) system with a multi-load in this paper, which achieves constant current output characteristics. Peculiarly, the primary side adopts a much larger compensation inductor than the primary leakage inductor to lower the reactive power, reduce the input current ripple, generate a large current in the primary side, and realize soft-switching. Furthermore, this paper proposes an approximate resonant point for large inductor-ratio LCL resonant compensation through fundamental wave analysis. In addition, the PWM control strategy is used for this system to achieve constant current output characteristics. Finally, an experimental platform is built, whose secondary E-Type coils can ride and move on a primary rail. Simulations and experiments are conducted to verify the effectiveness and accuracy of both the theory and the design method.

  • This paper examines export promotion plans of digital content industries, particularly of game, animation & character industry based on the OSMU(One-source Multi-Use) strategy. As the digital content industry is one of the newest industries as a source of strategic export, we must promote the export of digital contents that hold so much international competitiveness and through that promotion, we have to strengthen the international competitive power. The game, animation & character contents are very easy to adapt each other for creating new contents by omnidirectional OSMU. Therefore, it is intended to present some primary factor for export promotion of game, animation & character contents through the OSMU strategy.
