The present management of the domestic and international advanced enterprises is transferring the systems and the regulations to the prevention system management. Expecially, KOSHA (Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency) in Korea has supported to set up the OSHMS (Occupational Safety & Health Management System) by KOSHA 18001 since 1997. But small & medium enterprises (SMS) have many difficulties to set up the OSHMS because of limited natural and human resources. Therefore, this study is developed and proposed the certification standard of an OSHMS for SMS based on the case study on advanced countries, actual conditions of SMS in Korea, and opinion of specialists.

With the increasing use of tower cranes higher than free standing height, the importance of lateral support is also growing. Since the fall of 43 tower cranes hit by the last typhoon 'Mami' in 2003, regulations and concerns about safety of construction equipment have increased and construction laws regarding lateral support have been strengthened. In Korea, where there are many large-scale apartment housing construction works with the development of new towns, Rope Guying is a more economical construction method than Wall Brace which fixes building structure like building wall and slab. The safety of this Rope Guying is not verified and many construction works are still carried out based on the experience of site managers. There has been no case of construction work where frame and measurements are applied. The objective of this study is to examine the safety of Rope Guying method and ensure the effective implementation of equipment and prevention of disasters.

System safety management to secure complicated system safety such as railway and nuclear includes various factors. Those are prevention of accidents, faults management, human factor, men-machine relation, organization factor, safety culture, quality/quantity safety performance goal, and safety regulations. To manage them, it is required that database which is based on most analysis is established. Therefore system safety could be controlled. This research defines data required to safety management, and that is aimed at deriving plans in order to establish them as database. To accomplish that, safety information management of other systems such as aviation and marine is reviewed. Also, the present conditions of available data in the filed of domestic railway are analysed, and then it provides plans for. establishing database to build up advanced railway system safety information management systems.

Recently, the fire safety of road tunnels has been important issues in South Korea. However, proper fire safety regulations has not made for road tunnels. Due to geographical challenges in South Korea, road tunnels should be constructed to secure stable traffic flows. In the Guidelines for Installing and Managing Disaster Prevention Facilities of Road Tunnels (NFSC 603), main target vehicles are passenger cars. This guidelines cannot support big fires from larger vehicles such as cargo, oil trucks. In this study, fire safety for a road tunnel in port area was analyzed with fire dynamics theory under cargo truck fire scenario. Sujunsan road tunnel in Busan city was chosen as a target tunnel, which links between Busan port and highways to increase cargo shipping. The results show the limitations of present guidelines (NFSC 603) for road tunnel from large fire situations.

Therefore, the purpose of this study is to research status and related regulations of Life Safety Codes for High Fire Risk Building Applications In the future, using this as basic data, it is considered that additional research is need to development Human Safety Standards in Korea.

Along with the global discussion on climate change prevention, regulations on hazardous substances emitted from ships were also carried out. Batteries have been regularly proposed as a solution for transportation, but lack of energy density has presented hydrogen as a final alternative. This study conducted legal issues regarding the method of providing hydrogen fuel on land and providing hydrogen fuel at sea. It is necessary to study how to institutionalize hydrogen bunkering in the legal system of the licensing system and distribution system.

In particular, calculation of evacuation capacity in evacuation safety design of buildings is the most important factor that directly affects evacuation safety performance. However domestic standards is not consider about occupant characteristics. also the case of domestic, it has the problem that the law is partially applied when the fire safety design of buildings. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to study the current status and related regulations of the life safety code for the application of high fire risk buildings, and to analyze the difference in evacuation time through Case Study.

We discuss why many current physical therapy entry-level programs are not designed to educate the type of physical therapy practitioners needed for the 21st century. We face a situation that we have to promote the profession's role in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of movement dysfunctions and the enhancement of the physical health and functional abilities of members of the public. The way how to train professional physical therapists became crucial. The purpose of study was to enhance the educational goals of physical therapy and the physical therapy curricula in Korea. In this study, we compared physical therapy training curricula recommended by WCPT with physical therapy training curricula in universities in other countries by dividing physical therapy curricula in universities and colleges into physical therapy students' electives, major required courses, labs and clinical practices, and counting the proportion of each category in the total credit hours. We discuss differences and similarities between curriculum in a university in Korea and curriculum in a university in the United States. We discussed possibly problematic portions of current physical therapy training curricula in korean universities. Finally, we statistically analyzed the regulations of WCPT and Health and Welfare Ministry in Japan, the Physical therapy curriculum of Creighton Entry-level DPT Program in the U.S. and the Inje University in Korea. The progressing direction of curricula in Korea had been researched. The future direction that korean physical therapy is to use an united curriculum that includes basic requirements of WCPT for all universities and colleges in Korea, rather than using each university's own modified version. The results of study can be helpful for developing a basic level of integrated curricula in universities and colleges in Korea.
