GPS 부의를 이용한 해수면 관측에 관한 연구 (A study of sea level measurement using GPS buoy)

  • Sea level fluctuation present a direct influence to those who live near the coast. The importance of monitoring sea level is evident. Therefore, various techniques have been employed for sea level measurements such as the coastal water level gauges, satellite altimetry and GPS buoy. Especially, GPS buoys have been used to measure water levels, atmospheric parameter and other physical conditions in sea, tide correction, the altimeter range calibration, ocean environment. In this paper, we will mainly concentrate on the kinematic technique for GPS buoy to measure the sea level. A test was carried out to test the method proposed in this paper, which made use of a GPS buoy equipped to monitor the sea level in Busan. We have executed to analysis about applications of GPS buoy.

Landau Level Spectra in a Twisted Bilayer Graphene

  • We investigate Landau level spectra of twisted bilayer graphene under a perpendicular magnetic field, showing that the layers provide rich electronic structure depending on misoriented angle. New types of excitations with Landau level sequences due to the reflection of interlayer coupling level are matter of interest in the present work. We calculate the electronic structure of bilayer systems with a relative small angle rotation of the two graphene layers. Calculated Landau level spectra for twisted bilayer graphene using a continuum formulation are in good agreement with existing experimental and theoretical studies. Twist angle dependent numerical simulations provide significant insights for the nature of the Landau level spectra in bilayer graphene, combining signals from both massive and massless Dirac fermions. We finally discuss the influence of the graphene layers in the experimental sample that related to the magneto-transport measurements including quantum Hall conductance.

  • Accidents at level crossing where railways and roads cross cause many casualties because of collision of cars etc and it also has a risk of the 2nd accident of trains. it is the most vulnerable point in the railway safety. Fundamental solution for accidents at level crossing is making the crossings cubic. but it can't be easily progressed because of environmental and financial difficulties. every kind of anti-accident measures are being strived for. one of the strived results is level crossing obstacle detector which automatically detects obstacles like defected cars etc in the middle of level crossing and transmits the information of obstacles to the approaching train. However present level crossing obstacle auto detector needs high expenses to be installed and has difficulties that lenses of beam transmitter, beam receiver should be cleaned in snowing winter. this document reviews level crossing obstacle auto detector using ultrasonic sensor to measure these difficulties.

  • A new level set based topology optimization employing inner-front creation algorithm is presented. In the conventional level set based topology optimization, the optimum topology strongly depends on the initial level set distribution due to the incapability of inner-front creation during optimization process. In the present work, an inner-front creation algorithm is proposed, in which the sizes, positions, and number of new inner-fronts during the optimization process can be globally and consistently identified. To update the level set function during the optimization process, the least-squares finite element method is employed. As demonstrative examples for the flexibility and usefulness of the proposed method, the level set based topology optimization considering lightweight design of 3D shell structure is carried out.

  • A new method was developed to measure underground water level with high reliability. The principle of new method was to detect a change of a buoyant force according to change in water level of underground water measured by the use of a straingage load cell. Field test of the instrument was carried out in Cheju Island. The results were as follows; 1) The present study provided a possibility to develop a new underground water level meter. 2) This new instrument accomplished high reliability at field test in Cheju Island. 3) There is possibility of development of water level meter which measure various range of water level to detect a weight change of a buoyant forcd.

구취의 심도에 따른 치료 효과에 대한 비교 연구 (Treatment Efficacy on Oral Malodor according to Pre-treatment Volatile Sulfur Compound Level)

  • Considering various factors contributing oral malodor, the accurate prediction of prognosis is very important to both clinician and patients. The present study has been performed to invetigate the relationship between treatment effeicacy and pre-treatment volatile sulfur compounds (VSC) level. Ninety patients were divided into three groups, A(<150ppb), B(150< <200ppb), and C(>200ppb) groups, according to pre-treatment VSC level detected by Halimeter, and each group included 30 patients. Routine therapeutic measures for oral were provided to each patient which consisted of oral prophylaxis, tooth brushing and flossing instruction, tongue scraping by proper device, and gargling of 0.25% ZnCl2 Solution. The group with high pre-treatment VSC level (>150ppb) showed significant reduction of VSC level at 1 and 3 weeks after. However, the group with low pre-treatment VSC level (<150ppb) did not show any significant reduction during the experimental periods. Collectively, the results suggested that patients with high pre-treatment VSC level show better prognosis.

Low area field-programmable gate array implementation of PRESENT image encryption with key rotation and substitution

  • Lightweight ciphers are increasingly employed in cryptography because of the high demand for secure data transmission in wireless sensor network, embedded devices, and Internet of Things. The PRESENT algorithm as an ultralightweight block cipher provides better solution for secure hardware cryptography with low power consumption and minimum resource. This study generates the key using key rotation and substitution method, which contains key rotation, key switching, and binary-coded decimal-based key generation used in image encryption. The key rotation and substitution-based PRESENT architecture is proposed to increase security level for data stream and randomness in cipher through providing high resistance to attacks. Lookup table is used to design the key scheduling module, thus reducing the area of architecture. Field-programmable gate array (FPGA) performances are evaluated for the proposed and conventional methods. In Virtex 6 device, the proposed key rotation and substitution PRESENT architecture occupied 72 lookup tables, 65 flip flops, and 35 slices which are comparably less to the existing architecture.

청소년이 지각한 가족지지와 자아정체감과의 관계 (The Relationship between Family Support and Ego Identity of Young People)

  • In the present study we have attempted to explore the relationship between family support that young people receive and the level of Ego Identity that they develop. We started the present study with the purpose of providing parish nurses with some basic data for nursing intervention for family and school nursing, as well as for community health care. We conducted the present study during the period of October 15, 2001 through November 5, 2001. The objects of this study were Inmunge High School students chosen from a school in Daejon. The subject students were selected randomly from each grade in that school. The numbers of subjects selected were 120 boys and 113 girls (total: 233). The research tool that we used to measure perceived family support received by students was one that Ga Eon Lee revised for high school students on the basis of Cobb's theory. To measure the subject students' Ego Identity level we used Bong Yon Sho's 'Ego Identity Scale', that he revised from Dignan's 'Ego Identity Scale' for Korean high school students. Data were analyzed with SPSS Win 10.0 program using statistics of frequencies, percentage, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient. The findings of the present study indicate that: 1) The mean of family support that the subject students feel that they received was 39.99 on the family support scale, and the mean of the students on the Ego Identity scale was 186.16. 2) The support that the subjects received from their own family had a statistically significant correlation with their Ego Identity (r=.93, p=.00). 3) Various factors had a significant correlation with the level of family support perceived by the subjects: the subject's grade (F=3.35, p=.04), the subject's religion (t=6.39, p=.00), the family's economic situation (F=9.14, p=.00), the birth order (F=27.61. p=.00), the father's education (F=23.17, p=.00), the mother's education (F=28.70, p=.00), parental relationship (F=2657.03, p=.00), and the structure of the family (F=-9.65. p=.00). 4) Various factors had a significant correlation with the level of the subject's Ego Identity: the subjects religion (t=6.20, p=.00), the family's economic situation (F=12.56, p=.00), the birth order (F=22.85, p=.00), the father's education (F=10.37, p=.00), the mother's education (F=20.69, p=.00), parental relationship (F=938.73. p=.00), and the structure of the family (F=-8.74, p=.00). 5) Analyzing sources of support within the family, family members whom the subjects trust most (F=3.08, p=.03) and family members to whom they talk most (F=5.85, p=.00) showed the most significant differences. 노인요양시설 거주자의 장기요양등급에 따른 요양서비스 및 자원이용량 분석 (Relationship between Resource Utilization and Long-term Care Classification Level for Residents in Nursing Homes)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine whether the level of classification for long-term care service under longterm care insurance reflects resource utilization level for residents in nursing homes. Methods: From 2 long-term care facilities, the researchers selected 95 participants and identified description and time of care services provided by nurses, certified caregivers, physical therapists and social workers during a 24-hr-period. Results: Resource utilization level was: 281.04 for level 1, 301.05 for level 2 and 270.87 for level 3. Resource utilization was not correlated with level. Differences in resource utilization within the same level were similar with the coefficient of variance, 22.7-27.1%. Physical function was the most influential factor on long-term care scores (r=.88, p<.001). The level for long-term care service did not reflect differences in resource utilization level of residents on long-term care insurance. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that present grading for long-term care service needs to be reconsidered. Further study is needed to adjust the long-term care classification system to reflect the level of resource utilization for care recipients on the long-term care insurance.

국내 건설회사의 안전관리수준 향상지수 및 특성 분석 (Improvement Index and Characteristic for the Safety Management Level of Domestic Construction Companies)

  • In order to present basic data for the balancing improvement of safety management level in domestic construction companies the improvement index and characteristic of safety management level are offered by comparing the year 2006's safety level with the year 2001's one. The companies under concern are classified into 51 large scale companies and 61 middle and small scale ones. The safety management level of both head office and construction sites is improved for all companies without regard to the scale. Specially, the improvement index of middle and small scale companies shows the higher rate than large ones and head office higher than construction sites.
