Preference Test on Feed and Nutrient Intakes in Male and Female Lesser Mouse Deer (Tragulus Javanicus) in Captivity

  • A preference test on feed and nutrient intakes were conducted on four male ($1.25{\pm}0.08kg$) and four female ($1.21{\pm}0.15kg$) lesser mouse deer (Tragulus javanicus) in captivity. Each animal was kept in individual cages placed in a well-ventilated animal house. The experiment was conducted in two weeks, where the first week was for adaptation to the feeds and the second week for measurements of nutrient intake, nutrient digestibility and nitrogen balance. The feeds offered were kangkong (Ipomoea aquatica), long bean (Vigna sinensis) and french bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) as roughages and proteinaceous feeds; sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas) and carrot (Daucus carota) as carbohydrate-rich feeds; and commercial rabbit pellet (0.3 cm diameter and 0.5 cm long) as a complete feed. The dry matter (DM) content of each feed in the order mentioned above was 7.1, 6.1, 3.9, 18.5, 6.2 and 87.6%, respectively. Long bean had the highest protein (CP) content (29.7%), while sweet potato had the lowest (6.2%). The CP contents of other feeds were within the range of 14.2 - 25.1%. Among the feeds, carrot had the lowest energy content (3.83 kcal/g) and long bean the highest (4.67 kcal/g). When fresh weight of the feed was considered, the male mouse deer consumed sweet potato the most ($86.3{\pm}12.90g/d$), but the female had a high preference for carrot ($79.2{\pm}9.76g/d$). The other feeds were consumed in lesser amounts. However, in terms of DM of the feed, the amount of commercial pellet consumed was the highest for both male ($45.0{\pm}5.10%$) and female ($44.7{\pm}7.38%$) mouse deer, followed by sweet potato ($33.1{\pm}4.43%$ and $22.4{\pm}7.73%$ for male and female, respectively). Significant (p<0.05) differences in DM, organic matter (OM) and gross energy (GE) intakes were observed between male and female mouse deer. The male consumed higher amount of DM, OM and GE than the female. The total DM intake was $40.7{\pm}2.24g/d/kg$ $W^{0.75}$ for male and $35.9{\pm}1.72g/d/kg$ $W^{0.75}$ for female mouse deer. Percentage digestibilities of DM, OM, CP and GE were within 72.7~80.8% and were not significantly different between male and female mouse deer. However, male mouse deer had significantly (p<0.05) higher digestible DM, OM and GE intakes than the female. Both male and female mouse deer were in positive nitrogen balance (0.6 g N/d/kg $W^{0.75}$). The male mouse deer gained $7.6{\pm}3.45g/d$, while the female gained $4.3{\pm}2.40g/d$.

  • 최근 전자상거래의 발전과 인터넷 사용자의 급증으로 온라인 상에서 수많은 광고들이 서비스되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 광고서비스는 사용자들의 성향 분석을 기초로 하기보다는 해당 광고의 일방적 서비스에 그치고 있다. 따라서 많은 웹사이트들이 해당 광고의 효율적 서비스를 위해 개인화된 광고서비스를 원하고 있고 해당 서버의 로그 분석을 통한 서비스를 연구 및 시행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 서버측 로그데이터의 분석이 아닌 로컬 시스템의 로그데이터를 이용하여 사용자의 선호도와 성향을 분석한다. 또한 해당 사이트 별 분류 카테고리를 만들어 해당 분류의 가중치를 부여함으로써 개인화된 광고 시스템을 제안하려고 한다. 사용자의 선호도 분석은 웹 개인화 기법 중 협업 필터링의 대상이 되는 사용자 선호도 정보를 방문 사이트 분류에 사용하고 학습에이전트의 대상이 되는 인터넷 사용자의 행동을 해당 사이트의 방문횟수로 가정하여 사용자의 성향분석을 시도하였다. 사용자의 선호도를 벡터로 표현하고, 성향분석 결과를 단순 적용형태가 아닌 연속적 데이터로 간주하였으며 이전 데이터와 이후 데이터의 성향분석 변화를 제안하는 기법을 이용하여 새롭게 분석하고 피드백 시킴으로써 지속적인 갱신과 적용을 할 수 있도록 제안하였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 해당 분류의 광고들을 선정하고 선정된 광고에 사용자 성향분석과 동일한 과정을 적용시킴으로써 차별화된 광고 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다.

전남지역에 발생하는 풀무치(Locusta migratoria)의 형태적 특징 및 발생생태 (Morphological Characteristics and Ecology of Locusta migratoria (Orthoptera: Acrididae) in Jeonnam Province)

  • 본 실험은 풀무치의 군집형 대발생 대비 예찰매뉴얼 개발을 위하여 형태적 특징, 발생생태, 먹이선호도, 산란조건 시험을 수행하였다. 전남 무안지역에 자연발생한 풀무치 274마리의 성비는 암컷과 수컷이 18.2 : 81.8로 수컷비율이 높았고, 녹색형이 60.9%, 갈색형이 39.1%로 녹색형이 많았다. 몸길이와 체중이 암컷은 6.5 cm, 2.8 g이고, 수컷은 5.0 cm, 1.5 g으로 암컷이 컸으며, 색깔에 따른 몸 크기는 차이가 없었다. 야외에서 풀무치의 산란활동은 8월 하순부터 10월 하순까지 관찰되었는데, 9월 하순부터 10월 상순에 산란한 알은 이듬해 5월 하순에 부화하였다. 성충의 일일 섭식량은 암컷 3.5 g, 수컷 1.6 g 이었다. 풀무치의 먹이선호도는 옥수수 > 조 > 기장 > 억새 > 벼 순이었으며, 억새와 벼는 좋아하지 않았다. 풀무치가 산란을 가장 선호하는 토양은 순수 모래였으며, 산란유도 후 토양 수분함량이 높을수록 누적부화량이 많았다.

개인화된 웹 검색 순위 생성 (Customized Web Search Rank Provision)

  • Most internet users utilize internet portal search engines, such as Naver, Daum and Google nowadays. But since the results of internet portal search engines are based on universal criteria (e.g. search frequency by region or country), they do not consider personal interests. Namely, current search engines do not provide exact search results for homonym or polysemy because they try to serve universal users. In order to solve this problem, this research determines keyword importance and weight value for each individual search characteristics by collecting and analyzing customized keyword at external database. The customized keyword weight values are integrated with search engine results (e.g. PageRank), and the search ranks are rearranged. Using 50 web pages of Goolge search results for experiment and 6 web pages for customized keyword collection, the new customized search results are proved to be 90% match. Our personalization approach is not the way that users enter preference directly, but the way that system automatically collects and analyzes personal information and then reflects them for customized search results.

  • (가) 2개 이상(以上) t개의 시료(試料)를 3점기호척도시험법(點嗜好尺度試驗法)에 의해 실험한 결과를 통계처리(統計處理)하여 t개 시료 상호간(相互間)의 품질차(品質差)를 비교(比較)하는 해석법(解析法)에 대해서 검토(檢討) 하였다. (나) 그 결과 $Scheff{\acute{e}}'s$ method의 제1신법(第1新法)이 품질차(品質差)의 검출력(檢出力)에서나 얻어지는 정보량(情報量)에서 우수(優秀)함을 확인하고 t개의 시료에 대할 3점기호척도시험법(點嗜好尺度試驗法)의 해석방법(解析方法)으로써 실용성(實用性)이 있다는 결론을 얻었다. (다) 이때 correct oddity chosen에 대한 incorrec toddity chosen의 weight fraction은 chance probability에 의해 계산하여 1/2로 하였다.

  • Purpose: The objective of this research is to investigate and analyze the relationship between physical residential conditions and occupants' responses in apartment buildings by POE(Post-Occupancy Evaluation). The analysis results from this research will help to identify the indoor residential problems and find design solutions for improving overall residential indoor residential environment. Method: The occupant survey was conducted at four different apartment complex area at Cheongju City, Chungbuk Province, Korea. Combination of unbalanced indoor environmental conditions in residential building had difference of occupants' responses according to occupants' characteristics, such as gender, age, and so on. The survey collected data regarding the occupants' EQ(Environmental Quality) priorities to determine the weight of each environmental-quality factor (lighting, acoustic, thermal and indoor air quality). A paired comparison method was used to determine the weight by comparing the relative importance of the two factors based on occupant's survey response. Result: The output from this research is useful to understand the residential environment, occupants' satisfaction, preference, and identifies the current residential problems and finds an architectural solution in apartment buildings.

흡연 여대생의 식이섭취실태 및 영양상태 평가에 관한 연구 -I. 신체계측 및 식이섭취실태 - (A Study on Dietary Intakes and Nutritional Status in College Women Smokers -I. Anthropometric Measurements and Nutrient Intakes -)

  • In order to investigate the dietary intakes and physical characteristics in college women smokers, interviews using questionnaires were done on 33 smokers and 42 nonsmokers residing in seoul area. General living habits, dietary habits, food consumption frequency and nutrient intake by quick estimation were investigated through direct interviews with subjects. Subjects height, weight and blood pressure were measured, and body fat percentage were statistically analyzed using Bio-electrical Impedence Fatness Analyzer(GIF-891). All data were statistically analyzed by SAS PC package program ; percentage or mean and standard error were examined for each item, and the significant difference was evaluated by chi-square test or Student's t-test at $\alpha$=0.05. In the analysis of taste and food preference, smokers consumed larger amount of alcohol and coffee than nonsmokers ; they also disliked sweet taste. The results of food consumption frequency data also showed that smokers consumed less fish, milk and fruits but consumed more instant foods than nonsmokers. As a result of anthropometric measurements, height, age, and 패요 fat percentage showed no difference, but there was a significant difference in weight, BMI, systolic blood pressure, and diastolic blood pressure. Energy intake in nonsmokers was 1640 ㎉/day(CHO : Pro : Fat=66.0 : 14.7 : 19.3), in smokers. Intakes of calcium, iron, vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, and niacin in smokers were not significantly different from those of nonsmokers.

천년초 열매 분말을 첨가하여 제조한 생면의 품질특성과 저장성 (Quality Characteristics and Storage Properties of Wet Noodle with Added Cheonnyuncho Fruit Powder)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the quality characteristics and storage of wet noodle with added Cheonnyuncho powder. Wet noodles were prepared at concentration of 1, 3, and 5%(w/w) of the fruit based on flour weight. Moisture content of the noodles with or without Cheonnyuncho powder was 34~36%. Ca, K, Mg, Fe, Mn and Zn contents of Cheonnyuncho noodle were increased at increasing concentrations of Cheonnyuncho powder. Cooked weight, volume, and water absorption decreased with increased fruit powder, whereas turbidity increased. For hunter's color values of noodles, L(lightness) and b(yellowness) values decreased with increasing concentration of Cheonnyuncho powder, whereas a(redness) value increased. For mechanical characteristics of the noodles, adhesiveness, cohesiveness, chewiness, elasticity, and brittleness of cooked noodle with Cheonnyuncho powder were lower than those of control. The pH of Cheonnyuncho noodle was lower than that of control during storage. Bacterial counts of wet noodle with 1% and 3% fruit powders were lower than those of the control and 5% fruit powder on the 8th day of storage at $5^{\circ}C$. From the sensory evaluation, texture, taste, and overall preference were not significantly different between the control and fruit group, but the color of 5% Cheonnyuncho noodle was significantly higher than that of control (p<0.05). In conclusion, the results of this study suggest that the addition of 1% and 3% Cheonnyuncho powder in combination with flour tended to improve antimicrobial effects during storage when compared to control.

스마트폰 환경에서 기사 읽기 습관 고려한 뉴스 추천 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Personalized News Recommendation System Considering User Reading Habit under Smartphone Environment)

  • 본 연구는 스마트폰환경에서 사용자의 관심주제와 읽기습관을 분석하여 읽기 습관을 분석하여 관심 있는 뉴스기사를 추천 시스템을 제안하였다. 사용자가 직접 관심영역의 가중치를 정함으로서 관심주제의 기사를 우선적으로 보여 주어 사용자가 쉽게 관심기사를 읽을 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 사용자가 사회적으로 이슈가 되는 기사에 관심을 갖는 경우 이를 반영하기 위해서 단순히 기사를 클릭하고 읽지 않은 경우는 가중치를 낮게 설정하였으며, 기사를 끝까지 스크롤을 하고 기사를 끝까지 읽은 경우는 가중치를 높게 설정하였다. 특정 분야의 기사를 자주 읽은 경우는 XML의 구조정보를 사용하여 관심주제영역의 가중치를 높게 설정함으로써 관련분야의 기사를 우선적으로 볼 수 있도록 하였다.

모링가 잎 분말을 이용하여 제조한 국수의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Noodles added with Moringa oleifera Leaf Powder)

  • This study investigated the quality of noodles added with Moringa oleifera leaf powder. Noodles were prepared at ratios of 0% (control), 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8% (w/w) Moringa oleifera leaf powder based on flour weight. Land a value of uncooked noodles decreased while b value increased (p<0.001) with the addition of Moringa oleifera leaf powder. Further, L and a value of the cooked noodles decreased while b value increased (p<0.001). Weight, volume, and water absorption of cooked noodles increased with increasing addition of Moringa oleifera leaf powder (p<0.001). pH value of soups decreased while turbidity of soups increased (p<0.001) as amount Moringa oleifera leaf powder increased. Hardness (p<0.001), cohesiveness (p<0.001), chewiness (p<0.001), and adhesiveness (p<0.05) increased significantly while springiness decreased (p<0.01) with increasing addition of Moringa oliefera leaf powder. Total polyphenol content, total flavonoid content, and DPPH free radical scavenging activity increased with increasing addition of Moringa oleifera leaf powder (p<0.001). Noodle prepared with 4% Moringa oleifera leaf powder was the most preferred in terms of overall preference.
