Objectives : In order to understand and apply Lee Jema's emotion control method, the basic concepts of his nature-temperament theory was examined. Lee's thoughts on emotion control, and the basic principles of his method were deduced from this process. Methods : The meaning and set-up of basic concepts in his nature-temperament theory as written in text such as the Donguisusebowon, Gyeokchigo, and Donguisusebowon Sasang Chobongwon were examined, and compared with similar concepts of Confucianism. Results & Conclusions : Out of concepts set by Lee, the Ae(哀)-No(怒)-Hui(喜)-Rak(樂) nature-temperament is the condition for emotion control. Junghwa(中和) is the aim of emotion control according to different stages of emotional expression, and Jiin(知人) is the precondition for emotion control. Lee's basic principles of emotion control could be summarized as following. First, it must be done with the aim for 'Goodness[善]' to be manifested. Second, it must be based on clear understanding of 'Insa(人事)'. Lastly, Hoyeonjigi(浩然之氣) and Hoyeonjiri(浩然之理) must be consistently cultivated for stable emotion control.

Objectives The authors feel the Qi(氣) through the training, and diagnose and treat our patients through the feeling. In order to utilize the Qi-daignosis, we try to summarize the authors's training process by examining what and how to use the Qi-daignosis. Methods The authors have gathered empirical parts of the psychological part and the various methods of training, through what they need most and how to train them. And we want to describe them in order of importance. Result First of all, with psychological sense of securit you should practice trainingy. It should be able to maintain the unity of the body through relaxation on the basis of 'no thinking only watching'. You must concentrate your energy through concentration and strengthen your inner work. Then you can feel the flow of energy inside your body and you can feel the interaction between the outside and your body. Conclusion By doing this, you naturally begin to apply the Qi-daignosis to your patients. It is not only possible for some doctors with specific abilities. Anyone can feel the Qi(氣) through clinical training and use the Qi-daignosis.

Taking the present circumstances into account that we are approaching the realization stage of interchange and cooperation between North and South Korea through a preparatory stage, recovery of national homogeneity is an essential precondition for reunification. The important first Step is pursuing of recovery of educational homogeneity for this purpose. The authors carried out 8 general observation on the fundamental educational system with ideology, on the actual state and characteristic of educational system for industrial technicians, and especially on the educational system for fisheries technical manpower in the North Korea. It was found that the North Korea's basic idea of educational policy is constituted by bringing up the communistic human beings on the ground of "the Ideas of Identity" and by bringing up industrial technical manpower for development of communistic economic. The basic educational system consists of 1-4-6-4 school years system, and 11 years of compulsory education up to the higher middle schools is imposed to all people. The educational system for industrial technicians is also composed of the regular school system which is following the basic educational system and of the irregular school system which is being attached to the industrial bodies. The fisheries educational system is very similar to the general educational system for industrial technicians, and the fisheries workers are treated more warmly in comparison with the workers engaging in the other industrial fields. By this study, the authors failed to find out the concrete content of the fisheries educational system including the curriculum owing to the lack of information, but this task should be studied continuously to make provision of reunification in the near future. Expressly, a continuous and profound research is required to be carried out on actual accepted state of the international maritime conventions together with the marine officers' certification system for the shipping and fisheries fields in the North Korea.

The meanings and roles of community have been changed. Traditional community theories hinged on the neighborhood have been threatened by the alternative concept of 'communities without propinquity'. Embracing unprecedented development of transportation, information and communication technologies, Propinquity of community has not been a precondition. This paper reviews the development of community theories with a frame of 'communities without propinquity'. Furthermore, applying social network analysis(SNA) approaches, it explores the communality of Topgol Comic Book Space, located in Goesan, Chungbuk and examines spatial characters. Visitors' networks of Topgol Comic Book Space builda up national coverage and expands. It functions as a field of testing various activities without explicit 'fixed purpose'. The case exemplifies a community, continuously enlarging the spatial and social boundaries, performing a series of activities, and connecting both the outside and the local.

Real-Time Hybrid Simulation (RTHS) is a novel approach conceived to evaluate dynamic responses of structures with parts of a structure physically tested and the remainder parts numerically modelled. In RTHS, delay estimation is often a precondition of compensation; nonetheless, system delay may vary during testing. Consequently, it is sometimes necessary to measure delay online. Along these lines, this paper proposes an online delay estimation method using least-squares algorithm based on a simplified physical system model, i.e., a pure delay multiplied by a gain reflecting amplitude errors of physical system control. Advantages and disadvantages of different delay estimation methods based on this simplified model are firstly discussed. Subsequently, it introduces the least-squares algorithm in order to render the estimator based on Taylor series more practical yet effective. As a result, relevant parameter choice results to be quite easy. Finally in order to verify performance of the proposed method, numerical simulations and RTHS with a buckling-restrained brace specimen are carried out. Relevant results show that the proposed technique is endowed with good convergence speed and accuracy, even when measurement noises and amplitude errors of actuator control are present.

Compared to the past, people can control end devices via open channel. Although this open channel provides convenience to users, it frequently turns into a security hole. In this paper, we propose a new human-centered security risk analysis method that puts weight on the relationship between end devices. The measure derives from the concept of entropy rate, which is known as the uncertainty per a node in a network. As there are some limitations to use entropy rate as a measure in comparing different size of networks, we divide the entropy rate of a network by the maximum entropy rate of the network. Also, we show how to avoid the violation of irreducible, which is a precondition of the entropy rate of a random walk on a graph.

Eclecticism, fusing and mixing heterogeneous and contrasting elements to create a new awareness of beauty, is based on diversity and pluralism, and as such fits well with the demand of the contemporaries who pursue individualization and diversification, which explains the current vogue for Eclecticism. As a precondition to grasp eclectic styles that are expressed in modern textile design, this study looks into the characteristics of eclecticism in modern art and applies the insight so gained to textile design in an attempt to understand transformations of modern textile design by considering the aesthetic effects and plastic characteristics suggested by the new trend. The result of our research indicates that the trends that characterize modern textile design can be divided into three categories as follows: 1) Mixing of high culture and low culture through cultural fusion, 2) Fusion of differing sensitivities through blending of times, 3) Blending of regional characteristics through geographical mixing. Characteristics of textile designs as influenced by these trends can be summarized as: 1) a conversion in the way textile designs are viewed, 2) increasing emphasis on the playfulness of representation and 3) multi-cultural expressions. In short, eclecticism of textile design represents a phase of modern society that is increasingly oriented toward multifacetedness and points to a direction for a new possibility of future textile designs, necessitating a continuous research along this line.

'Mu-acupuncture treatment(繆刺法)' and 'Geo-acupuncture treatment(巨刺法)' are the ways of taking acupuncture points on the sound side of a human body and not on the unsound side of a human body to treat disease, 'Mu-acupuncture treatment(繆刺法)' is applicable to 'Transverse meridian disease(絡脈病)', 'Geo-acupuncture treatment(巨刺法)' is applicable to 'Longitudinal meridian disease(經脈病)'. To diagnose a disease as transverse meridian disease or longitudinal meridian disease depends on 'Feeling pulse at the nine spots of three parts on a body for diagnosis (三部九候診)'. 'Mu-acupuncture treatment(繆刺法)' takes a 'Rak-acupuncture point(絡穴)' under a wrist and a ankle joint. The method of taking it, two ways, are 'Yu(痏)' and 'The treatment getting some blood(出血療法)'. 'Yu(?)' which is similar to 'Quick-getting acupuncture into and out (單刺法)' means the number of times doing acupuncture and is different from 'The treatment getting some blood (出血療法)' which is typically considered as 'Yu(?)'. Meanwhile, judging from the changes of the methods of feeling pulse for diagnosis and the symptoms of a certain disease, though it is a precondition that 'Biased-Gi(邪氣)' stays at 'The Large transverse meridian(大絡)' in 'The theory of Mu-acupuncture treatment(繆刺論)', it is hard to consider the symptoms of 'Transverse meridian disease(絡脈病)' described in 'The theory of Mu-acupuncture treatment(繆刺論)' as the pure symptoms of 'Transverse meridian disease(絡脈病)'.

Recently, intensive research has been performed for reducing video decoder energy consumption, especially based on DVFS (Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling) technique. Our previous work [1] has proposed the optimal DVFS algorithm for energy reduction in video decoders. In spite of the mathematical optimality of the algorithm, the precondition of known frame decoding cycle/complexity limits its application to some realistic scenarios. This paper overcomes this limitation by frame data size-based estimation of frame decoding complexity. The proposed decoding complexity estimation method shows over 90% accuracy. And with this estimation method and buffer underflow margin of around 20% of frame size, almost same power consumption reduction performance as the optimal algorithm can be achieved.

To make Web Services the real applications, the efficient mechanisms for Web Services discovery, Web Services composition and Web Services execution must be provided. Among these issues, especially, Web Services composition plays the key roles in Web Services applications that are loosely coupled and composed applications consisted of primitive Web Service components. In this paper we demonstrate a new Web Service composition approach using ontologies. We apply ontologies to describe Web Services information such as Web Services input/output parameters, pre conditions, post conditions and other necessary management information. In this paper, we also introduce Action ontology and Object ontology to describe the functional properties of Web Services These ontologies offer semantic description of Web Services functionalities beyond the limitation of the current WSDL. We can achieve semantic interoperabilities between heterogeneous Web Services in terms of conceptual processing and realize semantic services composition. We implement semantic Web Services composition system called Genie based on service description ontologies.
