E.S.P.I법과 화상처리에 의한 2차원의 스트레인 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of two Dimensional Strain by ESPI Method and Image processing)

  • ESPE(Electonic-Speckle-Pattern-Interferometry) is very useful method for measuring In-plane displacement. Using the CW-Laser and Image processing system, it is possible to measure displacement and strain. Unlike traditional straingauge or moire' method, ESPI method requires no special surface preparation or attachments and can be measured In-plane displacement with no contact and real time. In this experimental specimen was loaded in paralled with loadcell, which provided loading step. The specimen was sheet plate, which was attached straingauge in x-y direction. In this study provides an example of how ESPI has been used to measure two dimensional displacement and strain distribution in this specimen. The results measured by ESPI compare with the data which was measured straingauge method in tensile testing at 1 ton range.

칼라 공간과 형태 정보를 이용한 내용기반 이미지 검색 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Content-based Image Retrieval System using Color Spatial and Shape Information)

  • 대량의 일반 이미지 집합에서 사용자가 원하는 이미지를 효율적으로 찾아내는 것이 내용기반 이미지 검색 연구의 주된 목적이나 특정한 분야에 속하지 않은 일반 이미지를 대상으로 하는 연구는 아직까지 만족스럽지 못한 실정이다. 이 논문에서는 이미지의 색상과 형태의 특징 정보들을 추출하여 자동으로 색인하고 검색하는 시스템을 제안하였다. 특징 추출은 인간의 이미지 인식 과정에 기반하여 전체적인 정보와 세부적인 정보로 구분하여 수행하였다. 추출된 특징 정보들은 전역 칼라, 부분 영역 칼라, 전역 형태, 부분 영역 형태 정보로 구분하였다. 실험 결과 제안한 방법은 기존의 방법과 비슷한 시간 내에 비교적 높은 Precision과 Retail로 이미지를 검색함을 알 수 있었다.

  • Burr is a projected part of finished workpiece. It is unavoidable and undesirable by-product of most metal cutting or shearing process. Also, it must be removed to improve the fit of machined parts, safety of workers, and the effectiveness of finishing operation. But deburring process Is one of manufacturing processes that have not been successfully automated, so deburring automation is strongly needed. This paper focused on developing a basic algorithm to find edge of workpiece and match two different image data for deburring automation which includes automatic recognition of parts, generation of deburring tool paths and edge/comer finding ability by analyzing the DXF drawing file which contains information of part geometry. As an algorithm fur corner finding, SUSAN method was chosen. It makes good performance in finding edge and corner in suitable time. And this paper suggested a simple algorithm to find matching point between CCD image and drawing file.

  • The electronic speckle pattern interferometer (ESPI) has been applied to many technical problems such as deformation and displacement measurement, strain visualization and surface roughness monitoring. In this study, we used an ESPI system based on the dual beam speckle interferometer method in order to measure in-plane displacement and vibration mode using the ESIP technique. This research was carried out for the purpose of applying the vibration analysis method employing Electro-Optic holographic interference technique to the vibration analysis of uniform rectangular cantilevers plate(SS400,STS304) with cantilevers span to breadth ratio of 150 by 75. And thickness of 1mm and 0.8mm respectively. We improved the ESPI technique in order to obtain the distribution of displacement component resolved in one direction through a CCD camera combined with an image processing system. To certify and to assess the accuracy in measuring by this ESPI, the results obtained with the speckle method and vibration mode analysis are to be compared with those results by Warbuton's Theoretical expression and vibration made in FEM analysis.

  • The formation degree of sustain (ITO pattern) decides quality of PDP (plasma display panel). For this reason. it makes efforts in search defects more than 30 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. Now, the existing inspection process is dependent upon naked eye or SEM equipment in off-line PDP manufacturing process. In this study developed prototype inspection system of PDP ITO glass. This system creates information that detects and sorts kind of defect automatically. Design ed inspection technology adopts line-scan method by slip-beam formation for the minimum of inspection time and image processing algorithm is embodied in detection ability of developed system. Designed algorithm had to make good use of kernel matrix which draws up an approach to geometry. A characteristic of area-shaped defects, as pin hole, substance, protrusion et al, are extracted from blob analysis method. Defects, as open, short, spots, et al, are distinguished by line type inspection algorithm. In experiment results, we could have ensured ability of inspection that can be detected with reliability of up to 95% in about 60 seconds

전자 튜너 조정을 위한 위치와 방향 인식 (Position and Orientation Recognition for Adjusting Electronic Tuners)

  • This paper describes the development of a vision-aided position and orientation recognition system for automatically adjusting electronic tuners which control the waveform by rotating variable resisters. The position and orientation recognition system estimates the center and the angle of the tuner grooves so that the main controller may correct the difference from the ideal position and thereby manipulate the variable resisters automatically. In this paper a robust algorithm is suggested which estimates the center and the angle of the tuner grooves fast and precisly from the source image with lighting variance and video noise. In the algorithm morphological filtering, 8-chain coding, and invariant moments are sequentially used to figure out image segments concerned. The performance of the proposed system was evaluated using a set of real specimens. The results indicate the system works well enough to be used practically in real manufacturing lines. If the system adopts a high speed frame grabber which enables real time image processing, it can also be applied to positioning of robot manipulators as well as automated PCB adjusters.

  • Recently the interest for the environment is increasing. So the criterion for the evaluation of the burner has changed. For efficient driving problem, if the thermal efficiency is higher and the oxygen in exhaust gas is lower, then burner is evaluated better. For environmental problem. burner must satisfy NOx limit, soot limit and CO limit. Generally the experienced operator judge of the combustion status of the burner by the color of flame. we don't still have any satisfactory solution against it. the relation of the combustion status and the color of the flame hasn't still been established. This paper is the study about the relation of the combustion status and the color of the flame. This paper describes development of real time flame diagnosis technique that evaluate and diagnose combustion state such as consistency of components in exhaust gas, stability of flame in quantitative sense. In this paper, it was proposed on the flame diagnosis technique of burner using image processing algorithm, the parameter extracted from the image of the flame was used as the input variables of the flame diagnostic system. at first, linear regression algorithm and multiple regression algorithm was used to obtain linear multi-nominal expression. Using the constructed inference algorithm, the amount of NOx and CO of the combustion gas was successfully inferred. the combustion control system will be realized sooner or later.

내용기반 영상 검색을 위한 특징 추출 및 영상 데이터베이스 검색 시스템 구현 (Feature Extraction for Content-based Image Retrievaland Implementation of Image Database Retrieval System)

  • 본 논문에서는 내용기반 접근 방법에 의한 보다 효율적인 특징 추출 및 이를 이용한 영상 검색 시스템을 Oracle 데이터베이스상에서 구현하였다. 먼저, 다양한 입력 영상에 대하여 기존 Stricker 방법을 수정하여 영상의 칼라 특징을 추출하고, 추출된 칼라 특징과 ART2 신경만을 이용하여 영상들을 개략 분류한다. 다음, wavelet 변환을 이용하여 변환 영역상에서 영상의 질감 특징을 추출하고, 이를 이용하여 전 단계에서 칼라 특징으로 개략 분류된 영상들의 최종적인 상세 분류를 수행한다. 연구된 특징 추출 방법들을 기반으로 하여, 관계형 데이터베이스상에서 확장된 SQL문을 사용하여 영상 검색 시스템을 구현하였다. 제안된 영상 검색 시스템은 Oracle DBMS상에서 구현되었고, 200개의 시험 영상으로 실험한 결과, Recall과 Precision에서 90%, 81%의 만족한 검색 효율을 보였다.

  • 현재 국가 간의 경쟁력 확보를 위하여 자동화 기술의 개발을 통한 무인화ㆍ자동화를 실현함으로써 물류비용 및 인건비의 절감을 위한 노력에 많은 투자가 이루어지고 있는 실정이다 FMS를 구축하기 위해서는 AGV는 반드시 필요한 운송 장치로 현재 많은 제품들이 생산되어 현장에서 사용되고 있다. 현재 AGV는 바닥에 설치되어 있는 주행라인을 따라서 이동하는 방식이 가장 많이 사용되고 있으며, 주행라인 검출 방식으로 말이 사용되고 있는 전자유도 방식은 설비비용이 말이 들고 경로 수정이 어렵다는 문제점을 가지고 있다.(중략)
