There is a difficulty for many practioner in anterior direct restroation with composit resin. Because its result is various according to patient, a practioner have a fear about that unpromisable result. Moreover in esthetic region, there is difference in satisfaction by patient character. That is one of difficulty in this practice. But if we make a manual for parctice it will be easier. So I will summarize the process and things to note in direct anterior composite resin restoration.

In spite of the improvements of the techniques in the field of preventive dentistry, many children still present with extensive destruction of primary anterior teeth. Not only the practioner must consider the pulp state of the primary incisor, but also restore the form, function and esthetics of the tooth. Restorative treatment of primary incisor tooth requires durability, retention and esthetics. Stainless steel crowns used in restoring primary anterior teeth is retentive and durable in comparison with the composite resin, celluloid crown. But they are not esthetic. To enhance the esthetics of the anterior stainless steel crown without reducing its superior retention, an open-face stainless steel crown has been suggested. Several authors have suggested cutting away the labial portion of the stainless steel crown and placing the composite resin in that area. By following this technique, the practioner can prepare a retentive, durable, and esthetic restoration for primary teeth which have suffered from extensive loss of teeth structure. In addition, the single missing primary anterior teeth can be successfully restored by soldering the stainless steel crown together. Open-face stainless steel crown is indicated in the areas of large interproximal lesions involving incisal edge, crown fracture with pulp exposure and congenital malformation of the teeth. By this technique, the practioner can restore primary anterior teeth successfully regardless of the amount of remaining tooth structure, bruxism habit and presence of attrition. In this case, rampant caries with extensive loss of tooth structure and single missing of primary anterior tooth hart been successfully treated with open-face stainless steel crown.

In the management of temporomandibular joint(TMJ) disorders, dental practioner should conduct the reversible, conservative, and inexpensive treatment modalities prior to the irreversible and invasive treatment. That is to say, behavioral, pharmacologic, and physical therapy should be conducted firstly, and then the occlusal appliance therapy could be considered. If patients do not react to these conservative treatments, we have to consider surgical treatments. If the accurate diagnosis is confirmed by intimate history taking, clinical and imaging examinations, we can rehabilitate the normal TMJ function and relieve the clinical symptoms with only conservative treatments in most TMJ disorder cases.

Construction robotics is rapidly forming a market in conjunction with the development of sensing and artificial intelligence technologies. The layout work for accurately constructing the shape and dimensions of the building frame requires high accuracy and precision, and is one of the high demands for productivity and quality improvement through construction automation. Thus, as a preliminary study, we derived the elemental factors and performance requirements for developing an automated layout robot. In addition, alternatives on driving and marking units were investigated based on literature review and practioner's interview. The result of this study will be used as a basic data for the layout robot design.

The author treated 3 class I malocclusion patients with the lingual appliance followed by the extraction of the 4 bicuspids. One of them was finished with the labial appliance at the final stage. The treatment results were acceptable and the patients had good tolerance to the lingual appliance without complaints in these cases. There were some problems in treatment on the lingual side both the patient and the practioner, but I think we can overcome them with the development of the orthodontic materials, the treatment technics & the increased clinical experience. Of course, we cannot treat all the patients with the lingual braces, but patients are carefully selected, lingual braces will be a valuable orthodontic appliance. In conclusion, the lingual braces have very good esthetic advantages, so the patients, especially in adults, who hesitate or refuse the orthodontic treatment due to the esthetic problem of the labial braces will get the motivation & the chance for the orthodontic treatment.

Development of hyperlipidemic animal model is prerequisite for the screening of drugs lowering the blood lipoprotein level. In this study, two kinds of diet regimens were tried for the hyperlipidemic effect. The model will be used for the screening of current prescriptions to a variety of diseases related to hyperlipidemia by practioner of traditional herbal medicine. Fifteen male Wister rats of 200g were divided into three groups, and given normal, or either one of the two high cholesterol diets for up to 2 weeks. Regimen HC-1 and regimen HC-2 contained I% and 2% cholesterol in diet, respectively. Total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL) and lower density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL) levels in the serum were measured before the start of the diet, at 1 week after the start, and at 2 week point. Both regimens resulted in hyperlipidemia with the typical characteristics of increase in TC and LDL, and reduction in HDL, and showed no observable side effects such as diarrhea. In conclusion, both of HC-1 and HC-2 regimens appeared appropriate as diet regimens for the hyperlipidemic rat model.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to determine radiologic variables affecting extraction of impacted mandibular third molar. Materials and Methods : This study was investigated on 44 consecutive extractions of unilateral impacted mandibular third molars (Male;34, Female;10, Mean age;24.98, Age range;19-35). Fourteen radiologic variables, which were actual value except only one, were evaluated to establish their relation to the operation time. The Pearson correlation coefficient and Stepwise procedures for regression analysis were carried out. Results : Eight variables (depth, angulation, ramus width, relationship to the second molar, distal ramus depth, mesial ramus depth, mesial periodontal ligament width and follicle) showed a statistically significant relation to the operation time(Pearson correlation coefficient, p<0.05). Two variables, depth and mesial periodontal ligament width, showed the most powerful and just relation to the operation time($r^2$ = 0.349, p<0.05). Conclusion : This study shows that our results can help general practioner to estimate the operation time of extraction of impacted mandibular third molars by measuring two radiologic variables ; depth and mesial periondontal ligament width.

Yun Gil-Young, who is also known by his pen name, Hyun-Gok, was an Oriental Medicines practitioner since 1943 and was a leader of the society of Oriental medicines in Korea through his advocation as a professor of the University of Eastern Medicines and the College of Oriental Medicines, Kyunghee University. His writings can be first found in the magazine called Eastern Medicines in 1955. His writings, titled 'The Theory of the Biology of Oriental Medicines and its Treatment', elaborates the details of the study of the biology of Oriental Medicines and its directions. His argument of the directions in which to study Biology of Oriental Medicines further are: do not study Biology of Oriental Medicines without understanding its methodology but with knowledge on the biology of western medicines; do not put up with the abstract theory of Yin and Yang and the Five Phases leaving the purpose and the object of the study, just because they are the basic theory of the Biology of Oriental Medicines; do neither matching oriental medicines and western medicines one by one forcibly nor shun the knowledge of western medicines of the modern scientific methodes and try to keep to old customs.

Despite various treatments, there is a tendency of convicted sex offenders to recidivate by committing additional sex crimes. Especially when the offenders are diagnosed comorbidly with paraphilia and personality disorders, effective treatment is critical because this difficult condition can be harmful to their psychological well-being and the security of the communities in which these men live. The aim of this review is to examine the comorbidity of personality disorders and paraphilia in the male sex offender population. This study is highly meaningful as not only it is the first domestic research on the link between paraphilia and sex crimes, integrating the preceding data from both domestic and international research, but also as it synthesizes the studies of criminal psychology, social welfare and clinical psychology.
