Space is now being formed through the dialectical relations of these elements. From this point of view, this study started to research the spatial practice of morden people through the case in the early 20th century film. With the discourse of Henri Lefebvre and David Harvey, and Michel de Certeau's theory, this research tried to find the mechanisms of spatial practice. Also Benjamin is a philosopher who intervenes the relationship between modernity and cultural production and his way of reading cultural phenomena seems to serve as the useful methodology of cultural studies. Modern people were individual unawared of the era, awakened to the ego. They were wandering the room and the street, private and public places. They were city dwellers walking around, collecting goods, and living of everyday life. Spatial practice is a fixed activity and have continuity. spatial practice appeared in the early 20th century film is at the intersection of social practices and the practice of everyday life. Social practices are a fixed practice and continuous practice. The practices of everyday life are nomadic practice and amusable practice. Modern people accommodate and adapt to a given space of the city through fixed practice. They realizes the access and the distance from spaces through continuous practice. They select and approved the spaces through nomadic practice. And they possess exclusively and utilize the spaces through amusable practice. Through These research spatial practices, it could easily found similarities and differences between modern space on the early 20th century and contemporary space of 21st century. True modern is not the past but the present.

  • In recent years, Korean society has witnessed an increased interest in the observance of everyday life proprieties, building healthy families, and psychological well-being of family members. The main purpose of this research was to examine the relationships among the practice of everyday life proprieties, dynamics of family systems, and psychological well-being of Korean married couples. A self-report Questionnaire was used to collect data from married couples with a child over four-years-old who are currently residing in Seoul. 513 couples(1026 individuals) were used for the final data analysis. Statistical analyses were conducted using frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations, Cronbach'α, Pearson correlation, paired t-test, factor analysis, and multiple regression. The findings of this study are as follows: First, the level of the practice of everyday life propriety was relatively high in both husbands and wives, and no significant gender difference was found in the level. Yet, there were some statistically significant differences in certain sub-dimensions. Wives showed a higher degree of performance in public decorum and social etiquette, whereas husbands exhibited a higher degree of performance in family decorum and communication manners. The family systems were highly dynamic, according to both husbands and wives, and there was no difference between husbands and wives. As for the sub-dimensions, the extent of communication was found to be higher among husbands than among wives. Psychological well-being was again relatively high for both husbands and wives, with husbands significantly higher than wives. Second, the findings indicate that the causal model did fit the data well, and that a myriad of background variables had direct and indirect impacts on psychological well-being, and these relationships were mediated by several variables in the sub-dimension of proprieties observance, family adaptability, and the degree of communication. The implication is that the practice of life propriety, an intervening variable, is crucial in improving psychological well-being of married couples. The findings of this research demonstrate that there are significant causal relationships among the practice of everyday life propriety, family systems dynamics, and psychological well-being. In addition, the observance of proprieties is shown to be a concept that can be used as an important predictor in the area of family resource management. Further research is needed to expand its focus on the practice of proprieties in the family resource management. More concrete and specialized family life education programs should be developed to help build healthy families. Lastly, the results indicate that proprieties education needs to be incorporated in family policies in order to promote the quality of family life.

The participants of this study were four elementary school teachers who have different features such as major, teaching period, gender, growth area, and age. The data was collected through semi-constructed and in-depth interviews. The results of the research are as follows: Teachers mostly used students' everyday experience during the introduction phase of science lessons for the purpose of motivation. They hold a positive view of using students' everyday experience during science lessons and thought that science teaching needs to actively use more of students' everyday experience, while in actual practice they disregarded or only passively introduced students' everyday experience. The various background factors found to affect teachers' practice are as follows: positive memory on their science class; educational experience of their own children; their own childhood environment; their learning style; their insufficient knowledge or enthusiasm; perceived educational value of everyday life in science education; teacher's duties; importance of students' achievement; difficulty in guiding experiment; reaction of students on introducing everyday experience; characteristics of science textbook and teacher's guidebook; lack of lesson time; realization of national common basic education; characteristics of their students; demands from parents or students; effect of introducing everyday experience. In addition, we found that the teachers behave not in accordance with what they thought due to external factors related to their profession and that, for a more active use of students' everyday experience in their teaching, teachers need support from textbooks and teachers' guidebooks.

Tourism has been recognized as an extraordinary experience in an extraordinary time and space, and everyday life has been related to a non-extraordinary, that is ordinary time, space, and experience. Beyond this dichotomous thought, this paper focuses on positively combining the relation between tourism and everyday life. To this end, the paper analyzed the ordinaryness of everyday life in tourist spaces, and conversely, grasped the extraordinaryness in dairy spaces. This paper shows that routines affect tourism practice, family tourism make tourist spaces domestification through performance, and the off-the-beaten track tourism spaces for experiencing the ordinary daily life of local residents are centered around the neighborhoods of global metropolises. • Signs of the street and scenes of the nature(tree) popping up like a still screen in a monotonously repeated routine, as if waiting for something by chance, characters appearing and disappearing without special meaning, advise you to get away from cliché meetings and breakups while repeating it. The images of people returning to their places without presenting any conclusions highlights the coincidences and unexpectedness of everyday life, but are so familiar that it is easy to be overlooked, it brings us to experience the potential of everyday unfamiliarity in such moments. The actor's performance, which deviates from the practice of well-organized characters, is improvised (unplanned and uncoordinated) emphasized on the scene and expresses the everyday nature of his differentiated character freely like the reality as if he were locked up in a film structure but not confined to it, and as if he got used to the everyday life. Also the repeated words and actions of characters, and unpredictable changes of emotions, centered by the encounters and conversations of this film of Hong Sang-soo, everything that is presented in the background of everyday life in its form, let's us pay attention to the meaning and what to be found in the film. In addition, director Hong Sang-soo, who creates a story after selecting actors to reproduce this daily process in a realistic manner, sets new relationships between the characters and the actors, presenting a new method of realistic expression, through the actor who repeatedly appears in the film. This study analyzes the everyday characters and acting of the film based on director Hong Sang-soo's directing style.

  • The purpose of this study was to derive ethical life skills in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic from the 'care of self' that Foucault highlighted in . Care of self extends to the relationship one has with oneself and one with others. care of self is a practical ethic that realigns relationships with others and changes society through self-transformation. This study tried to derive specific practices for a life of care of self that individuals can realize against another rule of neoliberalism. Its specific practice style is keeping one's distance from dominant thoughts, forming oneself through practice and writing of subjective thinking, practicing knowing in everyday life, and practicing 'looking down'. These modes of self-care include the other and the world into consciousness in self-examination and transformation. Therefore, through care of self, individuals in the pandemic era can be reborn as members of society who change their lives while building a self-centered life that is faithful to themselves.
