실천적 문제 중심 가정과 수업이 중학생의 창의성에 미치는 효과: '의복 관리와 재활용' 내용 요소를 중심으로 (The Effects of Practical Problem-Based Home Economics Instruction (PPBHEI) on Middle School Students' Creativity: Focusing on the Content on "Clothing Management and Recycling")

  • The purpose of this study was to test the effects of Practical Problem-Based Home Economics Instruction (PPBHEI) on middle school students' creativity, focusing on the content on "clothing management and recycling." This study carried out quasi-experimental research with an independent variable of PPBHEI and a dependent variable of creativity. The experiment was based on a sample of 62 (31 in each group) second grade students in the Cheongju area over four class hours. ANCOVA was performed to examine pre-test and post-test differences between the experimental group and the control group. The results showed that PPBHEI did not improve the level of creativity but improved the level of creative motivation among the sub-elements of creativity (creative thinking, creative tendency, creative motivation). In particular, PPBHEI improved the level of independence in creative tendency, intrinsic motivation, and diligence in creative motivation. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that PPBHEI is effective in improving independence, intrinsic motivation, and diligence in respect of middle school students'creativity.

창조적 사고체계로서의 실내디자인 과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Interior Design Process as Creativite Thinking)

  • A study was performed for combination active process between the academical theory and practical design process based on creative thinking process in interior desigv. At first, it was investigated the concepts and characteristics of creativity combined with creativite process of thinking, and also scientific and art characteristics on interior design to be educated together with logical and esthetical concepts required for creative thinking process. In reference with above process, it was systematically established stepwise process of interior design with creative thinking system. As a resualt, creativity in interior design could develop a unique design process combined informations about knowledge and experiences with actual acquirements by individual's experiences. So interior design could be approachable and developed with open-mind and consistently scientific methodology. Also creativity power of interior design could be solved by strategic knowledge acquired by practical experiences and problem solving capability in special branches. Like this, all design activities, including interior design, would be accomplished theoretical background and actual design process under the concepts of practical intension and use. So it would be made creative products by means of detail adapation process based on the theoretical atmosphere, therefore it'll be strongly based on the hardnessing of theoretical value and power. Theory for design process referred to environmental concepts, so including interior design, would not be terminated as for theoretical concepts but be responsible for future of well-developed design by accomplishment of various design adaption method for practical purpose and objectives.

  • The society seeks creative talents. Expressive activities are educational activities that stimulate imagination, realize such through body, and enable communication with the society. In such perspective, it is quite meaningful to investigate educational objective that expressive activity shall possess as class to cultivate creativity. Therefore, this study aims to investigate creativity theory, analyze expressive activities as national curriculum at elementary schools, understand the position of expressive activities in Korea, and understand creative educational objective and value of expressive activities, in order to suggest idea for practical goal of expressive activities.

창의적 문제해결력을 기르는 초등학교 실과 교과서 '생활 속의 전기.전자' 단원의 개발 (Development of Practical Arts Textbook of 'Real Life's Electricity and Electronics' unit for Creative Problem Solving Abilities)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 창의적 문제해결력을 기르는 초등학교 실과 교과서 개발 모형을 개발하였고 2007 개정 교육과정에 터한 창의적인 문제해결력을 기르는 실과 교과서 '생활 속의 전기 전자' 단원을 개발하였다. 이 연구에서 개발된 창의적 문제해결력을 기르기 위한 초등학교 실과 교과서 개발 모형은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실과 교과서 개발 모형은 연구개발형 교과서로 기획준비 단계, 연구 개발 단계, 집필 편찬 단계, 심의 평가 단계로 구성되었다. 둘째, 실과 교과서 개발 모형의 집필 편찬 단계의 타당성이 4.21로 가장 높았고, 연구 개발단계의 타당성의 평균이 4.14로 그 다음이며, 교과서 개발 단계 중에서는 심의 평가단계의 타당성의 평균이 3.50으로 가장 낮았다. 교과서 개발 모형의 준비 단계에서는 실과 교과서를 개발하는 데 있어 요구 분석과 개발 계획을 수립하는 단계이다. 둘째, 연구 개발 단계는 외국의 실과 교육을 분석하고 학교 현장의 실태를 분석하여 교과서 집필 지침을 마련하는 단계이다. 셋째, 집필 편찬 단계에서는 실과 교과서 집필세목을 확정하고 단원별 실과 교과서를 집필하는 단계이다. 단원별 원고를 집필하며 삽화 및 사진을 구성하고 집필진 협의회를 통하여 원고본을 반복적으로 수정하고 보완하는 단계이다. 넷째, 심의 평가 단계에서는 현장의 교사와 학생을 대상으로 타당도를 검증하는 단계이다. 이 연구는 2007 개정 교육과정에 터한 창의적 문제해결력을 기르는 실과 교과서 '생활 속의 전기 전자' 단원을 개발하였다.

창의성 교육 모델의 탐색 (An Exploration of Creativity Education Model)

  • Although it is widely acknowledged that enhancing creativity is an important educational theme on which schools should depend and embody their educational goal and activities, how to do it can be characterized as 'piecemeal' without a whole picture of it. Thus, school practices of creativity education has been disoriented, discontinuous, short-term, and peripheral in nature. In this practical context, a theoretical model of creativity education was developed in ways in which several theoretical concepts based on research findings on a variety of aspects of creativity education were compiled and organized. The core of the model was creative problem solving process to which the goals and the mediating variables of creativity education were connected in relational fashion. By giving repetitive opportunities for creative problem solving geared to producing the results that are novel and useful for the individual as well as the socity, it was conceptualized that two educational goals could be achieved: a short-term goal of developing creative potential of the individual and the long-term goals of self-actualization of the individual and contribution to the society. It is also conceptualized that creative problem solving can be influenced in positive manner by several mediating variables: content knowledge and skills, creative cognition, creative motivation and attitudes, and creative environment. The creative environment is composed of psychological and physical conditions and provides a basis for creativity education. The former three variables are conceptualized as necessary conditions for the effectiveness and efficiency of creative problem solving, when provided appropriately. The four mediating variables ware conceptualized as mutually affecting so that the development of one variable influences positively that of the other, and vice versa. In terms of practical perspective of teaching creativity, developing creative potential, self-actualization, and contribution to society are the goals; creative problem solving process is the methodology; content knowledge and skills, creative cognition, and creative motivation and attitudes are the content; and creative environment is the condition of creativity education. The model is not yet perfect but needs further explorations to make it more detailed in clarifying various relationships. For instance, how the creative problem solving process can be differentiated in teaching various subject matters is yet to be explored. Thus, the model proposed in this study should be regarded as a general model of creativity education, and is relatively sound to be adopted in school practices since it is based on the theoretical as well as empirical study findings on creativity. However, the proposed model needs to be validated through empirical researches in real teaching settings.

디자인 교육에서 기초표현 전개 과정에 관한 실험 연구 (An Experimental Study of Idea Sketch in Design Education Method)

  • 대학 1학년 산업디자인 교과과정 내용에서 기초 표현과정과 표현방법을 실기시간에 효과적으로 표현전개하기 위해 한 학기동안의 강의내용을 기준으로 연구하였다. 신입생들의 실기표현은 대학입학 실기 시험에 대한 개념을 갖고 있으므로 대학 교과과정에서 적응을 위한 수정이 필요하다. 다시 말해, 대학 1학년에서 표현에 관한 과목은 학생들이 입시기간에 장시간 연습해온 표현방식에 젖어 있으므로, 창의적인 아이디어 발상과 전개를 위해서는 새로운 개념의 주입이 필요하다. 이를 바탕으로 이번 연구에서는 학생들의 표현 실기수업의 반응에 따라 실기내용을 일부 수정하였고, 거기에 따른 효과를 설문지로 측정해 보았다. 표현 재료는 4B연필, 마카, 파스텔, 색연필 등을 사용하여 조사하였고, 표현도구에 대해서도 학생들의 반응을 조사하였다. 그리하여 창의적인 발상을 주로 하는 디자인교육에서는 표현실기에서 이미 표현된 내용을 답습하는 것보다는 사물을 보고 표현 하든가 또는 자신이 구상한 Idea를 표현하도록 하는 것이 효과적이며, 표현도구에 대해서는 도구의 사용법에 대한 충분한 이해와 많은 기초 연습과정을 갖도록 하는 것이 바람직하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 기초과정이지만 Idea의 발상표현을 실기시간에 연습하여 창의적인 발상을 전제로 표현하는 것이, 처음의 효과가 즉시 나타나지 않지만 궁극적으로는 바람직함을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 앞으로는 컴퓨터 통신을 통한 새로운 교육과정이 표현실기부분에서 그 가능성을 제안하였다.

트리즈의 모순분석을 활용한 창의적 문제해결 실습과정 (Creative Problem Solving Process using TRIZ Contradiction Analysis)

  • Many methods have been suggested for a creative problem solving approach. TRIZ approach is ranked top in its practical application because it is originated from the real patent analysis. This approach is assumed to be generic which can be applied to any types of problems regardless of problem type and its domain. The objective of this study is to propose a creative problem solving approach using TRIZ's contradiction analysis, then introduce a case study of applying this approach to a creative design coursework. Main topic covers a creative problem solving approach, a problem definition using TRIZ contradiction analysis, finding invention principles, and problem solving from the generic approach. For the course project, Roborobo tool is adopted to implement the design concept. This coursework helps students finding a general problem solving approach, and applying a generic solution for their specific problem domain.

가정과 교육에서의 창의성 교수를 위한 이론적 고찰 (The Theoretical Inquiry for Teaching Creativity in Home Economics Education)

  • Creativity is a trait necessarily demanded in highly industrial and information oriented society. Accordingly, we should develop creativity through school education. The purpose of this study is to inquire a conceptual model and teaching method for developing creative problem solving skills in home economics education which can work at a platform for the curriculum developer. Although many definitions of creativity consider cognitive aspect more, personal or affective aspect is heavily involved with creativity. Therefore, creativity is a dynamic system which cooperates many contrasting and dialectic components in personal and cognitive aspects. The function of creativity is dependent on diverse environmental system. Environments influence on the extent of the development of creativity. Thus, the person-situation interaction model devised by Woodman and Schoenfeldt, integration of cognitive, affective, and situational aspects, is suggested as a conceptual model for teaching creativity in home economics education. The practical reasoning teaching model is suggested as a teaching method for developing creative problem solving skills in home economics education. The components of creative problem solving which involved with practical reasoning process are general knowledge and skills, specific knowledge and skills, divergent thinking skills, motivation and motives, and critical thinking skills.

The Impact of Creative Role Identity and Creative Self-Efficacy on Employee Creativity in the Hotel Business

  • The study aims to investigate the nexus of between role identity, self-efficacy, feeling of energy, and employee creativity in the hotel industry of Korea. The employees' innovative behaviors like creativity have been many researchers' interest for decades in the hotel industry. The hypotheses depicting the relationship among the variables have been proposed based on a review of existing literature. The number of 215 cases was used for final analysis and the results were explained through structural equation modeling. The results indicate the hotel employees' role identity and creative self-efficacy positively influenced their feeling of energy. Further, both role identity and creative self-efficacy make significant impact on employee creativity. Feeling of energy also makes a positively significant impact on employee creativity. Feeling of energy partially mediates the relationship between the two independent variables and employee creativity. As a result, creative role identity, self-efficacy, and feeling of energy explain the variance of the hotel employees' creativity. The results present that hotel practitioners need to regard their employees' creative roles and build organizational culture to support creative activities so as to enhance employee creativity. Finally, theoretical and practical implications for the hotel industry and future studies have been discussed.

The Effect of Fashion Product Consumers' Need for Uniqueness on their Criteria of Clothing Selection and Switching Intentions

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the The effect of fashion consumer's need for uniqueness in their clothing purchase behavior and switching intention. A total of 332 cases were included as the subjects of this study and a survey method was used. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 22.0 statistical program. The results were as follows. 1. The 3 dimensions (creative choice, unpopular choice, and avoidance of similarity) were extracted from the consumer's need for uniqueness and consumer divided high uniqueness group, middle uniqueness group, low uniqueness group. 2. The 3 factor (esthetic, functional, practical) were extracted from the clothing selection criteria. The three group had a significant difference in clothing selection and switching intention. Aesthetic factor and practical factor were the highest in high uniqueness group. 3. The need for uniqueness has influence on the aesthetic factor and practical factor. The creative choice factor had positive effect on the aesthetic and practical factor, yet unpopular choice factor had negative effect on the practical factor. The need for uniqueness and aesthetic factor has positive influence on brand switching intentions. 4. There was difference in unpopular choices factor by gender. A monthly average expenditure on fashion products had a significant difference in three kind of need for uniqueness. Results of this study provide a basis understand need for uniqueness and their effect on consumer behavior.
