Producing graduates with sufficient practical competency is the main mission of every educational institution. Following the accreditation of the Korean Institute of Medical Education and Evaluation, medical schools have been stepping up efforts to establish curriculum that reflects the practical value of medical education and the importance of adapting to the practice of graduates in order to increase the accountability of medical education in Korea each year. To this end, all medical schools have recently made efforts to develop diverse policies to strengthen the social accountability of medical education along with the transition to a competency-based curriculum. In line with this trend, the institutional accountability of medical education as well as the personal accountability of students, the main subjects of learning, should be highlighted, and educational activities to foster accountability need to be specified. Personal accountability in medical students involves recognizing their social accountability as future doctors and understanding and practicing student accountability. To achieve this, medical schools should provide programs that support and teach practical application of skills, and students need to define and attempt specific activities to strengthen their accountability.

In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for improved accuracy and reliability of Earth Observation Satellite (EOS) data. Most of the data users in the field of remote sensing require understanding of product accuracy and uncertainty. Especially, EOS application products should be validated for practical application in the field. In order to evaluate the availability and applicability of application products, it will be necessary to establish a systematic validation system including techniques, equipments, ground truth data, etc. The Product Validation Site (PVS) for generation and validation of KOMPSAT application products was designed and established with various in-situ equipment and dataset. This paper presents the status of PVS and summarizes some results from experiment studies at PVS.

Wavelet transform (WT) has attracted most engineers and scientists because of its excellent properties. The coherence of practical approach and a theoretical basis not only solves currently important problems, but also gives the potential of formulating and solving completely new problems. It has been show that multi-resolution analysis of Wavelet transforms is good solution in speech analysis and threshold of wavelet coefficients has near optimal noise reduction property for many classes of signals. This paper proposed applications of wavelet in speech processing: pitch detection, voice-unvoice (V -UV) decision, denoising with the detailed algorithms and results.

Web application security education that can provide practical experience is needed to reduce damage caused by the recent increase in web application vulnerabilities and to strengthen security. In this paper, we proposed a scenario-based web application education method, applied the proposed method to classes, and analyzed the results. In order to increase the effectiveness of scenario-based education, a real-life practice environment to perform scenarios and instructions to be performed by learners are needed. As an example of the proposed method, instructions to be performed by learners from the viewpoint of the attacker and the victim were shown in a practice environment to teach XSS and SQL injection vulnerabilities. After applying the proposed method to the class for students majoring in cyber security, when the lecture evaluation results were analyzed, it was shown that the learner's interest, understanding, and major ability all improved.

This paper introduces the present status of application of arc welding robots, construction, engineering subjects, design requirement, example of design modification for welding by arc welding robot. As a conclusion closer cooperation of robot engineer, welding engineer and structural designer is emphasised. This is the summary of the work done by Working Group for IIW Commission XV, chaired by the author.

집중호우 및 홍수로 인해 침수지역이 발생할 경우 이를 예측하기 위해 IT를 융합한 방재에 대한 연구가 필요하며 특히 본 논문에서는 도시 침수에 대비하여 교통 통제, 우회 도로 등을 제공하기 위해 정량적인 침수 위험 지수를 접목시키는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다.

There is change of signal control system for train control worldwide current. This is train control system that use radio communication and step practical use Tuesday. Research for diversified application, examination and enforcement is achieved in internal railroad industry by this. Therefore, do examination of universal train radio control way for internal application. Studied train control way that use suitable radio communication to internal railroad.

In this study, I discussed the overview of smart phone and the direction of the development, and analysed the case study of the smart phone application which is recently developed in domestic and international door-to-door service company. Through this analysis, I suggest the main topic of the vitalization of smart phone and the strategic direction of the practical use in logistic industry.
