한국인 성씨에 따른 이하선 탕개 내 Pr,Db,Pa의 유전자빈도에 관한 연구 (A Study of Gene Frequency of Proline-rich Protein, Double-band Protein and Pa Protien in Patotic Saliva according to Family Name of Korean People)

  • After dividing 372 Korean people of 47 different family names into 307 people of 28 indigenous family name groups and 65 people of 19 immigrated family name groups and investigating Pr. Db, Pa gene frequency of each family name groups based on phenotype of parotid saliva character the author have got following conclusions. 1. The gene frequencies of indigenous family name groups were Pr1=0.686, Pr2=0.314, Pr gene frequencies of immigrated family name groups were Pr1=0.7, Pr2=0.3. 2. The gene frequencies of indigenous family name groups were Db==0.021, Db-=0.979, Pr gene frequencies of immigrated family name groups were Db+=0.023, Db-=0.977. 3. The gene frequencies of indigenous family name groups were Pa+=0.248, Pa-=0.752, Pr gene frequencies of immigrated family name groups were Pa+=0.206, Pa-=0.794. 4. The Pr gene frequencies of immigrated family name groups were in the middle of those of Chinese people and indigenous people groups. 5. There was no significant difference of Db gene frequencies between indigenous and immigrated family name groups. 6. Pa gene frequencies of immigrated family name groups were similar to those of Chinese people.

순환도메인을 기반으로 하는 PR-화일의 구현 및 성능 평가 (The Implementation Performance Evaluation of PR-File Based on Circular ar Domain)

  • 본 논문에서 우리는 공간객체를 취급하는 새로운 동적 공간색인구조인 PR-화 일과 계층별 공간국부성 측도인 변형된 계층분산을 제안한다. 다차원 검색공간이 순환 도메 인을 갖는다는 가정하에서, PR-화일은 공간적으로 이웃하는 객체들을 결집시키기 위해 변형된 계층분산을 이용한다. PR-화일의 삽입과 분할 알고리즘은 객체의 분포 형태에 관계없이 낮은 계층분산값을갖는 색인을 유지시킨다. 실험 결과에 의하면, PR-화일은 낮은 계층분산값을 갖는 색인을 사용함으로써 객체의 검색시 적중율을 높이며, 버켓의 용량이 커질수록 버켓 이용율을 향상시키는 특성을 보인다.

Modeling of CeO2, Ce2O3, PrO2, and Pr2O3 in GGA+U formalism

  • The electronic structure and various physical properties of CeO2, Ce2O3, PrO2, and Pr2O3 have been studied from the framework of Ab-initio by the all-electron projector-augmented-wave (PAW) method, as implemented VASP (Vienna Ab-initio Simulation Package). The generalized gradient approximation (GGA) with effective U (Ueff) has been used to explain the strong on-site Coulomb repulsion among the localized Ce 4f electrons. The dependence of selected observables of these materials on the Ueff parameter has been scrutinized. The studied properties contain lattice constants, density of states, and reaction energies of CeO2, Ce2O3, PrO2, and Pr2O3. For CeO2 and PrO2, the GGA(PBE)+U results are in good agreement with experimental data whereas for the computational calculationally more demanding Ce2O3 and Pr2O3 both approaches give comparable accuracy. This results represent that by choosing an appropriate Ueff it is possible to reliably describe structural and electronic properties of CeO2, Ce2O3, PrO2, and Pr2O3, which enables modeling of oxygen reduction reaction processes involving ceria-based materials.

The Optimization of LCD Color Filter Coating Method

  • We examine the process to enhance the productivity of the thin-film transistor-addressed liquid-crystal display (TFT LCD) panels with the objective of optimizing the relation between the Type of color PR dispense nozzle and the amount of dispensing of color PR consumption, directly affecting a spectroscopic analysis. Most manufacturers of the panels have been utilizing a spin-type coater. We show that we successfully optimize the spectral values by controlling the color PR dispense type(Static dispense or Dynamic dispense) and the amount of color PR. From this study, we accomplished to decrease 43% in color PR consumption and to decrease 30% in color PR Stained, to decrease 30% rework rate.

수정 제분행렬 재 인수화법 (Modified Partial Matrix Refactorization)

  • Partial Matrix Refactorization (PR) has been available for refactorization repeatedly. But this paper aims to present Modified PR(MPR), which is faster in (re) factorization speed and simpler in program than PR, but storage is almost as big as that of PR. MPR substitutes refactorization process of PR1 for Modifide Trifactortzation (MT) and, instead of PR 2, adds to PR1 the algoritm that calculates modified element values of modified row / cols. MT, which is subalgorithm for MPR, simplifies the algorithm by applying information vectors to currently used Trifactorization, and trifactorizes and refactorizes in high speed. The test results of Fast Decoupled Load Flow (FDLF) and Contingency Analysis useing Indexing Scheme and Optimal Ordering also prove that MPR is faster than PR.

Photochemical properties of a Rhodopsin for Light Energy Conversion obtained from Yellow Sea in Korea

  • Proteorhodopsin (PR) is a photoinduced proton pump found abundantly in ocean and fresh water habitat, and has an important role in photoenergy conversion to bioenergy in the living cells. Numerous sequences that encode PR protein variants were discovered by environmental genome sequencing and they indicated the high sequence similarity. A new-type of PR (YS-PR) which had been discovered from the surface of Yellow Sea was found to have only 5 amino acid differences from the previously known green-light absorbing PR (GPR) protein, but showed different photochemical properties. This YS-PR showed a 10 nm red-shifted absorption maximum, when compared with GPR. It also showed slower photocycling rate than GPR. However, the photoconversion rate of YS-PR was fast enough to pump protons. Four different amino acids out of 5 were similar to Blue-light absorbing PR (BPR), suggesting that those residues might be responsible for the observed spectral and photoconverting properties.

흰나리 인편으로부터 PR-Proteinase의 유도 및 특성 규명 (Induction by Salicylic Acid and Characterization of PR-Proteinases from Bulbs of Lilium formosanum Wallace)

  • Some morphological character were surveyed and PR-proteinases were induced and characterized from Lilium formosanum Wallace endeimc to Cheju island . Its flower characters were similar to those of white trumpet lilies(Lilium longiflorum Thunb) although its flowering period was later than that of white trumpet lilies and it hadd a wide range of variation among individuals. Six PR-proteinases(II-2, III-1, III-2, IV-1, IV-2 and V) were induced from bulbs by 2.5mM salicylic acid and almost excreted into the intercellular spaces. These PR-proteinases were strongly activated by Ca 2+, , whereas they were strongly inhibited by Cu2+ Co2+ and Fe2+ . Three PR proteinases(II-2, IV-1 and IV-2) were strongly inhibited by 1, 10 -phenanthroline, indicating that these enzymes are metallo-proteinases. Three PR-proteinases(III-1, III-2 and V) had a high sensitivity to PMSF and required $\beta$-mercaptoethanol for their activities. These results indicate that these proteinases are cysteine proteinases.

반하가 난황으로유발된 생쥐의 알레르기성 천식에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Pinelliae Rizoma (PR) on asthma induced intra-nasal instillation of ovalbumin in mice)

  • Objective : This study was designed to investigated effects of Pinelliae Rizoma (PR) on asthma Methods : Detecting antigen specific antibody isotypes, cytokines in serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF). In addition, the present author also investigated changes in weight of spleen and proliferation rates of splenocytes. Finally, histopathological observation of the lung tissue was also investigated. Results : Oral administration of PR lowered OVA specific IgE levels in serum, IgG1 levels in serum and BALF. PR also decreased production levels of IL-4 in BALF. In addition, total cells in BALF were decreased by oral administration of PR effectively. In histapathological observation, PR group showed downward tendency of inflammatory cell infiltration around small vessels. Conclusion : PR is useful to treat patients with asthma and the mechanisms are related in suppression of Th2 skewing reactions.

  • 반도체 공정에서 일정한 패턴을 만들기 위하여 Photoresist (PR)를 이용한 식각 공정을 사용하게 된다. 이러한 식각 공정은 반도체 직접도가 증가되면서 더욱 많은 단계의 공정을 요구하게 되었다. 그러나 식각 공정의 증가는 반도체 소자 생산을 위한 더 많은 시간과 비용을 요구하게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 Photoresist를 사용하지 않은 공정으로 공정 단계를 간소화하기 위한 연구를 진행하고 있지만 아직 명확한 대한은 없다. 본 연구에서 는 PR의 strip 시간을 최대한 단축시키고 PR strip 잔여물의 빠른 제거를 위하여 기존 공정에서 사용 중인 strip 약 액을 플라즈마에 의하여 활성화하는 방법으로 PR strip 시간을 최대한 줄이는 방법에 대한 연구를 진행하였으며, 활성화된 strip용액이 더욱 빠른 strip율을 나타내는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 약액 활성화 방법으로 활성화된 strip 용액으로 PR을 일부 제거한 후 PR 표면의 물리적 특성 변화를 분석하여 약액 활성화된 strip 용액으로 인한 PR의 특성을 물리적 방법으로 접근하여 연구를 진행하였다.

A Semi-graphical Analysis on the Sublattice Anisotropy of a Two Sublattice System with Uniaxial Anisotropy: Application to Pr2Fe14B

  • A method to analyze the anisotropy constants of a two sublattice system with uniaxial anisotropy has been investigated by extending the Sucksmith and Thompson's method to higher order anisotropy terms. Using the method, a set of anisotropy constants for Pr-sublattice of $Pr_2Fe_{14}B at 4.2K has been obtained as K_{1Pr}=5210 J/kg, K_{2Pr}=-7200 J/kg, K_{3Pr}=-770 J/kg, K_{4Pr}=4940 J/kg and K_{SPr}=700 J/kg for N_{PrFe}=2.2 T/Am^2kg^{-1}.$ The magnetization calculated by an energy minimum method by using the sublattice anisotropy constants well reproduced the experimental results and satisfied the simulation assumptions.
