실변수 유전알고리즘을 이용한 전력계통 안정화장치 설계 (A Study on the Design of Power System Stabilizer using Real Variable Genetic Algorithm)

  • This paper presents a analysis method for dynamic characteristics of power system using a Genetic-based Power System Stabilizer(PSS). The proposed PSS parameters are optimized using Genetic Algorithm(GA) in order to maintain optimal operation of generator under the various operating conditions. To decrease the computational time, real variable string is adopted. The results tested on a single machined infinite bus system verify that the proposed controller has better dynamic performance than conventional controller.

  • In this study Dead time equivalent resistance of Voltage source power converter is very important in current controller design. And Non-linear Modeling method can be applied in Power converter analysis. Using Describing Function method and Non-linear Resistance Modeling.   • The overall design criteria for the optimal design of a small LEO satellite power system are described in summary. The analysis result of the KITSAT-I whole orbit data suggests the efficient power opertion for KITSAT-I and also gives some crutial information for developing a new satellite power system.

  • In case the fault occurs in AC power supply network, protective relaying system must selectively detect line-to-line/ground fault and immediately cut off the power flow into the fault location for guaranteeing the safety of people, electric vehicle and ground installation etc. It is the most important point in power system operation to minimize the fault duration by rapid trip scheme and accurate estimation of the fault location. In this paper, we analyze the load characteristics of each vehicle, perform the fault analysis of AC power supply network using AT current-ratio method. The result shows its usefulness.

  • Development and use of renewable energy due to environmental problems and depletion of energy affect grid-connected power system around the world. Therefore this paper analyzes the characteristic of gird connected photovoltaic power generation system which it is available to connect the utility. Renewable energy photovoltaic power system has been linked to the system to analyze the impact of photovoltaic system. MATLAB / Simulink program is modeled and analyzed on power quality of a photovoltaic power plant. It is measured that power data for the Grid connected photovoltaic power plant with instantaneous measuring, 3sec measuring, 10min measuring for 7 days. Harmonic field measurement have shown that the harmonic contents of a waveform varies with time. A cumulative probability approach is the most commonly used method to solve time varying harmonics. so, it is used 50[%] cumulative probability approach. This paper provides an in depth analysis on power quality field measurement of the Grid connected photovoltaic power plant.

  • Power system is becoming more and more complex and large Existing procedural programming technique can't cope with software flexibility and maintenance problems. So, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is increasingly used to solve these problems. OOP in power system analysis field has been greatly developed. This paper applies OOP in power flow analysis, and presents new algorithm which uses only a Jacobian to solve mismatch equations, and introduces a new sparse matrix storage method which is different from existing method. Visualization of Dynamic Simulation Data for Power System Stability Assessment

  • Power system analyses, which involve the handling of massive data volumes, necessitate the use of effective visualization methods to facilitate analysis and assist the user in obtaining a clear understanding of the present state of the system. This paper introduces an interface that compensates for the limitations of the visualization modules of dynamic security assessment tools, such as PSS/e and TSAT, for power system variables including generator rotor angle and frequency. The compensation is made possible through the automatic provision of dynamic simulation data in visualized and tabular form for better data intuition, thereby considerably reducing the redundant manual operation and time required for data analysis. The interface also determines whether the generators are stable through a generator instability algorithm that scans simulation data and checks for an increase in swing or divergence. The proposed visualization methods are applied to the dynamic simulation results for contingencies in the Korean Electric Power Corporation system, and have been tested by power system researchers to verify the effectiveness of the data visualization interface.

  • 본 논문에서는 동적 부하를 고려한 전력계통의 과도 안정도 해석을 모의하고자 한다. 모터는 계통 부하의 주요부분을 차지하고 있으며 이들의 동적 부하 특성은 전력계통의 안정도 해석에 있어서 매우 중요한 요소이다. 전력계통의 안정도해석에서 개별 부하의 특성을 모두 반영할 수 없기 때문에 일반적으로 모터 부하를 일정 임피던스 부하로 취급하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 일반적인 방법으로 해결할 수 없는 개별부하의 특성을 고려해야만 하는 산업용 전력계통의 경우 모터의 동적 특성을 고려하여 안정도 해석을 수행하여 안정도 해석에 있어서 모터의 영향을 보였다. 대상은 실 계통인 광양제철소의 전력계통이며 3상고장에 의한 모터부하의 영향을 분석한다.

  • 본 논문온 전압안정도에 Brfurcation 이론을 적용하여 해석하고, FACTS기가인 SVC와 UPFC를 전력계통에 연계하였을 때 전압안정도가 향상되는 효과를 보여주고 있다. 전압안정도는 일반적으로 시스템 파라미터(유효전력 또는 무효전력}를 포행하는 고도의 비선형 동적시스템의 식들에 의해 표현된다. 때때로 전력계통에서의 파라미터 변이는 시스템 불안정을 일으키는 복잡한 동작을 일으킬 수도 있다. 전력계통에서의 FACTS의 연계는 이러한 전압안정도의 범위를 증가시킨다. FACTS를 이용하여 불안정한 HopF Bifurcation과 Saddle Node Bihlfcation을 지연시킴에 의해서 전압안정도기 향상됨을 사례연구를 통하여 입증하였다.
