X20CrMoV12.1강의 열화평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Degradation Evaluation of X20CrMoV12.1 Steel)

  • Power plant boiler is one of the most important utilities providing steam to turbine in thermal power plant. It is composed of thousands of boiler tubes for high efficient heat transfer. Boiler tube material is used in such high temperature and pressure as $540^{\circ}C$, $170kg/mm^2$. The boiler tube material is needed to resist corrosion damage, creep damage and fatigue damage. 2.25%Cr-1Mo steel is used for conventional boiler tubes. In these days steam temperature and pressure of the power plant became higher for high plant efficiency. So, the material property of boiler tube must be upgraded to meet the plant property. Several boiler tube material was developed to meet such condition. X20CrMoV12.1 steel is also developed in early 1980's and used for superheater and reheater tubes in supercritical boilers. The material has martensitic structure, which is difficult to evaluate the material degradation. Boiler tube material at severe condition was tested to evaluate long term and short term degradation and creep. Through long term and high temperature degradation test, lath structure was decreased and recrystallization has been proceeded by sub-crystal. And in this research the effect of temperature and stress on boiler tube characteristic,for example, deformation by creep was changed rapidly at relatively high temperature and stress because creep was affected easily by temperature and stress.

  • The control objective of drum level of boiler in thermal power plant is to maintain drum level at constant setpoint regardless of disturbance such as main steam flow. The initial response of the drum level loop process is in a direction opposite to the final response. The drum level loop shows inverse response when the power is changed abruptly. We adopt fuzzy controller using knowledge base considering system dynamics for controlling drum level. Finally, the simulation result using the digital simulator for boiler system in Seoul Power Plant Unit 4 shows the validity of fuzzy controller.

870MW 대향류 보일러에서 최상부층 버너 선택운전에 따른 보일러 효율변화 고찰 (A Study on the boiler efficiency with selecting the uppermost burners in the 870MW opposite wall fired boiler)

  • 본 연구에서는 정격출력 870MW, 대향류 석탄보일러의 최상부층 버너운전에 따른 보일러 연소상태 변화와 보일러 효율을 측정하였다. 시험방법은 하부와 중간층 버너가 운전중인 상태에서 최상부층 전방버너, 전,후방 버너 동시 운전, 후방 버너 운전으로 구분하여 최상부층 버너 운전에 따른 보일러 효율을 측정하였으며 시험 결과 최상부층 전 후방 버너 동시운전 > 최상부층 전방 버너 > 최상부층 후방 버너 운전의 순으로 보일러 효율이 높게 나타났다. 최상부층 전방과 후방 버너를 동시에 운전할 경우 보일러 노 내 열흡수율 증가 및 대류전열면 좌우 증기온도 편차가 감소되었다. 보일러 열흡수율 개선에 따라 보일러 배기가스손실 감소 및 석탄공급량이 후방버너 운전 대비 8t/h 감소하였으며, 이는 연료비 절감은 물론 온실가스 배출량 감축에도 크게 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Tangjin Power Plant is modern Korean standard plant which is made up Once Through Super Critical Boiler, Turbin, Generator and Flue Gas Desulfarization System. INFI-90 system fur control of the 500 MW Korean standard super critical once through boiler Mark-V for Turbine, EX-2000 fer Generator, WDPF for FGD were installed in Tangiin thermal power plant. There were two BFPTs, BFPM, 25% control valve, 35% control valve to control boiler feed water flow. It is very difficult to tune the Separator Tank level control system and change the mode from Wet to Dry. This paper focuses on test results and modification control logic for feed water control system in Tangjin power plant.

  • This Paper presents an application of a on-line self-organizing fuzzy logic controller to a boiler system of fossil-power plant. A boiler-turbine system is described as a MIMO nonlinear system in this paper. Then, three single loop fuzzy logic controllers are designed independently. The control rules and the membership functions of proposed fuzzy logic control system are generated automatically without using plant model. The simulation shows successful results for wide range operation of boiler system of fossil-power plant.

  • The Simulation of Boiler System for Hadong Fossil power plant has been made by Korea Electric Power Research Institute (KERRI) in an attempt to develop Windown NT based full scope replica simulator for Hadong Fossil power plant, 500MWe once-through boiler. In the project KERRI developed Once Through, Super Critical type Boiler System, the core part of the Simulation and integrated the system with other process systems such as BOP System, and AUX System. This paper is to introduce the basic concept of the simulation for the Boiler System. It will also introduce PRO-TRAX System, for used as a modeling tool.

  • To operate coal fired power plant efficiently is considered unburned carbon as important factor. But, unburned carbon contents change does not have an impact on Boiler performance simultaneously. we evaluated that unburned carbon contents change had an little influence on unburned carbon loss change for performance side at a real power plant.

  • Almost all power plant boiler has temperature distribution nonuniformity problem in heat transfer tube flow path. It can cause hot spot damage of superheated or reheated heat transfer section and reduce maintenance schedule when nonuniformity is severe. There are two solutions for improvement temperature nonuniformity. one is change of gas flow distribution of gas path and the other is contorl steam flow in tube bank. Of course, first method is very difficulty to apply but second method is'nt. In this paper, control steam flow is used to solve temperature nonuniformity of power plant boiler.

  • This paper describes the proceedings of creating countermeasures after analysis and maintenance be able to conduct operation safely in a power plant. in order to operate the power plant in a stable and reliable way, the best condition of the govemor system can be maintained through the response characteristic analysis of the control device for the pitch blade control hydraulic actuator. The fan pitch blade control hydraulic actuator of a 500MW large-scale boiler is frequently operated under normal operation conditions. Common problems or malfunctions of the pitch blade control hydraulic actuators leads to the decline of boiler thermal efficiency and unexpected power plant trip. The inlet and outlet gas can be controlled by using the fan pitch blade control hydraulic actuator in order to regulate the internal pressure of the furnace and control the frequency in the power plant facility which utilizes soft coals as a power source.

  • 석탄화력발전소의 보일러계통은 구성기기 사이에 수많은 상호관계를 갖는 대규모, 비선형 계통이다. 이러한 복잡한 계통의 해석에서 동특성 모의는 대규모 상호관계를 지속적으로 추적하는 강력한 방법으로 인식되고 있다. 보일러계통은 공기/가스 시스템과 물/증기 시스템으로 구성된다. 보일러의 오염물질 배출에 관한 최근 환경규제의 강화와 보일러의 물성치에 대한 설게 검증 요건 때문에 상업용 프로그램이 보일러 계통의 해석에 사용된다. 이 논문에서는 모의 도구로써 EPRI(미국전기연구소)에서 개발한 MMS를 사용하여 모델개발을 논의하였다. MMS에서 사용하여 개발된 모델은 한국표준석탄화력발전소의 보일러 연소계통에 대한 설계 및 현장데이터를 시험하였다. 개발된 모델은 정상상태 및 천이상태 조건에서 ${\pm}$5% 이내로 연소계통이 잘 응답하는 것으로 결과에서 보여준다. 이 논문에서 연소계통의 해석에 대한 개발된 모델은 일반적일고, 어떤 형식의 석탄호력발전소에도 적용이 가능하다.
