산림지역에서의 2023년 봄철 꽃나무 개화시기 예측 (Prediction of Spring Flowering Timing in Forested Area in 2023)

이상기상으로 인한 봄꽃 개화 시기의 변화는 식물의 생장기간 뿐 아니라 생물계절을 포함한 생태계의 모든 측면에 영향을 미친다. 따라서 봄꽃 개화 시기를 예측하는 것은 산림 생태계의 효과적인 관리에 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 464곳의 산림에서 수집된 날씨정보를 기반으로 대한민국 산림의 대표적인 5가지 수종(미선나무, 아까시나무, 철쭉, 산철쭉, 마가목)의 2023년 개화 시기를 예측하기 위해 과정 기반 모형을 사용하였다. 이를 위해 28개 지역의 9년간(2009-2017) 개화 시기 자료를 활용하여 모형을 개발하였다. 개화 시기는 식물의 세 개 이상의 위치에서 처음으로 꽃이 피는 것을 기준으로 측정되었다. 본 연구에서는 STDD와 GDD 과정 기반 모형을 사용하여 개화 시기를 예측하였으며, 두 모형 모두 일반적으로 우수한 성능을 보였다. 과정 기반 모형의 주요 입력변수인 날씨 자료는 산악기상관측시스템과 기상청에서 제공하는 기온 정보를 융합하여 1km의 공간 해상도로 일 단위 기온 자료를 생성하였다. 지역별 보정 계수를 생산하고 적용하기 위해 랜덤포레스트 기계 학습을 활용하여 STDD와 GDD 모형을 기반으로 예측 정확도를 개선하였다. 결과적으로 보정 계수가 적용될 때 대부분의 수종에서 개화 시기의 예측 오차가 작았으며, 특히, 미선나무, 아까시나무, 철쭉에서 평균제곱근오차가 각각 1.2, 0.6, 1.2일로 매우 낮았다. 모형 성능을 평가하기 위해 10회의 무작위 샘플링 테스트를 실시하고, 최적의 결정계수 값을 가진 모형을 선택하여 모형의 성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 마가목을 제외한 모든 수종에서 보정 계수가 적용된 모형에서 결정계수가 최소 0.07에서 최대 0.7 증가하였으며 최종적으로 75%에서 90%의 설명력을 가졌다. 이를 기반으로 수종별 보정 계수를 산출하였으며, 1km 해상도의 전국 단위 개화시기예측 지도를 제작하였다. 본 연구는 식물의 계절 변화에 대한 자료로 활용될 것으로 예상되며, 수종 및 지역별로 개화 시기를 상세히 설명하여 기후 변화로 인한 계절 변화를 연구하는 데에 유용할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 우리나라 산림의 주요 수종에 대한 정확도 높은 개화 시기 예측 서비스는 산림 방문객들의 산림 경험 만족도를 크게 높일 수 있으며, 양봉업 등 임업 종사자들의 경제적 향상에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
컴퓨터 연산능력의 향상과 데이터를 수집하고 가공해 분석이 가능하도록 데이터를 정형화 시키는 기술이 발달함에 따라, 소셜미디어 및 인터넷 공간에서 생산되는 다양한 텍스트 데이터를 수집하고 그것을 분석하는 시도가 늘고 있다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 기술의 발전과 새롭게 시도되고 있는 분석법을 활용해 텍스트 데이터를 분석하여 과거에 설문조사 방법을 통해 확인했던 "내부마케팅"의 효과를 기존과는 다른 방식으로 확인해 보고자 하였다. 이와 같은 분석을 위해, 전/현직자들이 해당 기업의 구직자들에게 기업의 리뷰를 제공하는 플랫폼 잡플래닛(www.jobplanet.co.kr)의 리뷰 데이터를 웹크롤러를 생성하여 약 4만 건을 수집하였다. 또한 수집된 비정형 데이터를 정형화하기 위한 형태소 분석을 진행하여 명사만을 추출한 후, 미리 생성해 놓은 단어주머니에 들어있는 단어와 같을 경우 그 숫자를 세어 분류화를 진행하였다. 분류화된 내부마케팅 영역별 단어 수의 변화를 독립변수로, 시가총액 변동률을 종속변수로 활용하여, 내부마케팅과 시가총액간의 관계를 확인하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 대부분의 기존 연구와는 다르게 내부마케팅의 효과는 제한적인 영역에서만 기업의 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 대부분의 환경에서는 음의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 산업군으로 나누었을 때, 제조업에서는 여성지원과 교육 훈련 부문에서 기업성과에 긍정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 유통업에서는 직원 복지, 일-가정 양립 그리고 바이오/제약 업종에서는 직원 복지, 일-가정 양립, 사내 커뮤니케이션 그리고 보상 부문에서 모두 기업성과에 음의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기업의 규모가 크고 역사가 오래된 기업에서는 직원 복지가 기업성과에 악영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 교육 훈련 부문에서는 종속변수에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 기업의 규모가 작고 역사가 짧은 기업에서는 직원 복지, 사내 커뮤니케이션 그리고 일-가정 양립에서 종속변수와 음의 관계를, 여성지원 에서는 종속변수와 양의 관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과들을 분석하여 이론적 의미뿐만 아니라, 실무적 함의를 제시하고자 하였다.
본 연구는 만성질환 중의 하나인 고지혈증 유병을 예측하는 분류모형을 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위해 SVM과 meta-learning 알고리즘을 이용하여 성과를 비교하였다. 또한 각 알고리즘에서 성과를 향상시키기 위해 변수선정 방법을 통해 유의한 변수만을 선정하여 투입하여 분석하였고 이 결과 역시 각각 성과를 비교하였다. 본 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 한국의료패널 2012년 자료를 이용하였고, 변수 선정을 위해 세 가지 방법을 사용하였다. 먼저 단계적 회귀분석(stepwise regression)을 실시하였다. 둘째, 의사결정나무(decision tree) 알고리즘을 사용하였다. 마지막으로 유전자 알고리즘을 사용하여 변수를 선정하였다. 한편, 이렇게 선정된 변수를 기준으로 SVM, meta-learning 알고리즘 등을 이용하여 고지혈증 환자분류 예측모형을 비교하였고, TP rate, precision 등을 사용하여 분류 성과를 비교분석하였다. 이에 대한 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 모든 변수를 투입하여 분류한 결과 SVM의 정확도는 88.4%, 인공신경망의 정확도는 86.7%로 SVM의 정확도가 좀 더 높았다. 둘째, stepwise를 통해 선정된 변수만을 투입하여 분류한 결과 전체 변수를 투입하였을 때보다 각각 정확도가 약간 높았다. 셋째, 의사결정나무에 의해 선정된 변수 3개만을 투입하였을 때 인공신경망의 정확도가 SVM보다 높았다. 유전자 알고리즘을 통해 선정된 변수를 투입하여 분류한 결과 SVM은 88.5%, 인공신경망은 87.9%의 분류 정확도를 보여 주었다. 마지막으로, 본 연구에서 제안하는 meta-learning 알고리즘인 스태킹(stacking)을 적용한 결과로서, SVM과 MLP의 예측결과를 메타 분류기인 SVM의 입력변수로 사용하여 예측한 결과, 고지혈증 분류 정확도가 meta-learning 알고리즘 중에서는 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다.
Fuzzy logic based Control Theory has gained much interest in the industrial world, thanks to its ability to formalize and solve in a very natural way many problems that are very difficult to quantify at an analytical level. This paper shows a solution for treating membership function inside hardware circuits. The proposed hardware structure optimizes the memoried size by using particular form of the vectorial representation. The process of memorizing fuzzy sets, i.e. their membership function, has always been one of the more problematic issues for the hardware implementation, due to the quite large memory space that is needed. To simplify such an implementation, it is commonly [1,2,8,9,10,11] used to limit the membership functions either to those having triangular or trapezoidal shape, or pre-definite shape. These kinds of functions are able to cover a large spectrum of applications with a limited usage of memory, since they can be memorized by specifying very few parameters ( ight, base, critical points, etc.). This however results in a loss of computational power due to computation on the medium points. A solution to this problem is obtained by discretizing the universe of discourse U, i.e. by fixing a finite number of points and memorizing the value of the membership functions on such points [3,10,14,15]. Such a solution provides a satisfying computational speed, a very high precision of definitions and gives the users the opportunity to choose membership functions of any shape. However, a significant memory waste can as well be registered. It is indeed possible that for each of the given fuzzy sets many elements of the universe of discourse have a membership value equal to zero. It has also been noticed that almost in all cases common points among fuzzy sets, i.e. points with non null membership values are very few. More specifically, in many applications, for each element u of U, there exists at most three fuzzy sets for which the membership value is ot null [3,5,6,7,12,13]. Our proposal is based on such hypotheses. Moreover, we use a technique that even though it does not restrict the shapes of membership functions, it reduces strongly the computational time for the membership values and optimizes the function memorization. In figure 1 it is represented a term set whose characteristics are common for fuzzy controllers and to which we will refer in the following. The above term set has a universe of discourse with 128 elements (so to have a good resolution), 8 fuzzy sets that describe the term set, 32 levels of discretization for the membership values. Clearly, the number of bits necessary for the given specifications are 5 for 32 truth levels, 3 for 8 membership functions and 7 for 128 levels of resolution. The memory depth is given by the dimension of the universe of the discourse (128 in our case) and it will be represented by the memory rows. The length of a world of memory is defined by: Length = nem (dm(m)+dm(fm) Where: fm is the maximum number of non null values in every element of the universe of the discourse, dm(m) is the dimension of the values of the membership function m, dm(fm) is the dimension of the word to represent the index of the highest membership function. In our case then Length=24. The memory dimension is therefore 128*24 bits. If we had chosen to memorize all values of the membership functions we would have needed to memorize on each memory row the membership value of each element. Fuzzy sets word dimension is 8*5 bits. Therefore, the dimension of the memory would have been 128*40 bits. Coherently with our hypothesis, in fig. 1 each element of universe of the discourse has a non null membership value on at most three fuzzy sets. Focusing on the elements 32,64,96 of the universe of discourse, they will be memorized as follows: The computation of the rule weights is done by comparing those bits that represent the index of the membership function, with the word of the program memor . The output bus of the Program Memory (μCOD), is given as input a comparator (Combinatory Net). If the index is equal to the bus value then one of the non null weight derives from the rule and it is produced as output, otherwise the output is zero (fig. 2). It is clear, that the memory dimension of the antecedent is in this way reduced since only non null values are memorized. Moreover, the time performance of the system is equivalent to the performance of a system using vectorial memorization of all weights. The dimensioning of the word is influenced by some parameters of the input variable. The most important parameter is the maximum number membership functions (nfm) having a non null value in each element of the universe of discourse. From our study in the field of fuzzy system, we see that typically nfm 3 and there are at most 16 membership function. At any rate, such a value can be increased up to the physical dimensional limit of the antecedent memory. A less important role n the optimization process of the word dimension is played by the number of membership functions defined for each linguistic term. The table below shows the request word dimension as a function of such parameters and compares our proposed method with the method of vectorial memorization[10]. Summing up, the characteristics of our method are: Users are not restricted to membership functions with specific shapes. The number of the fuzzy sets and the resolution of the vertical axis have a very small influence in increasing memory space. Weight computations are done by combinatorial network and therefore the time performance of the system is equivalent to the one of the vectorial method. The number of non null membership values on any element of the universe of discourse is limited. Such a constraint is usually non very restrictive since many controllers obtain a good precision with only three non null weights. The method here briefly described has been adopted by our group in the design of an optimized version of the coprocessor described in [10].
이 글의 목적은 70년대 국가권력에 의해 소환되었던 전통 이념이 '전통의 현대화'라는 명목 아래 당대 한국연극 현장에 수용되었던 양상과 그 함의를 밝히려는데 있다. 이는 다른 한편 70년대 전통 논의를 둘러싼 한국연극계의 자기검열의 양상을 비판적으로 검토하는 작업이기도 하다. 이를 위해 이 글에서는 민족극을 창안하는 방식으로 70년대 한국연극계의 전통 논의를 선점했던 극단 민예극장의 활동을 살펴보았다. 이제까지 70년대 극단 민예극장에 대한 평가는 전통의 계승과 변용을 내세운 허규의 연출 작업을 바탕으로 공연예술적 성취 여부에 집중되었다. 하지만 70년대 국가가 주도한 문화정치의 장(場)에서 구성된 전통 이념과 그것이 작동된 양상은 예술적 성취라는 측면에서만 평가할 수 없다. 무릇 전통을 전유하려 한 주체의 선택적 기준에 따라 전통 이념은 선별되고, 선별된 전통 이념의 선택 과정에서 특정 대상들이 배제, 폐기, 재선별, 재해석, 재인식된다. 70년대 비문화로 호명되었던 서구적인 것이나 퇴폐불온한 것과의 차이 속에서, 전통이 전유되었던 70년대의 상황도 이로부터 멀리 있지 않다. 국가가 주도한 70년대의 전통 논의는 전통의 특정 이념을 안정된 가치로 합법화했는데, 그것을 작동시킨 한 방식은 국가의 문예지원이었다. 70년대 극단 민예극장은 당시 연극 위기론의 구체적 대안으로 선택되었던 전통의 현대화를 바탕으로 민족극을 지향했다. 그것은 구체적으로 전통연희의 계승과 변용이라는 방식으로 구현되었는바, 특히 극단 민예 극장의 대표 연출가 허규에게 전통은 거부할 수 없는 안정적 가치였고 그것의 계승과 변용은 의심할 바 없는 소명으로 내면화되었다. 그 결과 허규가 연출한 극단 민예극장의 공연은 일정한 성취에도 불구하고 과도한 전통연희의 관습들로 채워진 숙련된 장인술로 귀착되었다. 70년대의 전통 이념은 80년대 들어 새로운 전유의 양상으로 전개된다. 1986년 극단 민예극장의 핵심 단원이었던 손진책, 김성녀, 윤문식 등은 민예극장을 탈퇴하여 극단 미추를 만든다. 극단 미추는 연출가 손진책을 중심으로 풍자와 해학이 넘치는 마당놀이를 선보이며 전통의 대중화를 끌어냈다. 전통연희에 내재된 민중의 저항정신을 전통적 가치로 전유했던 대학가의 마당극처럼, 손진책의 마당놀이는 풍자와 해학을 통해 위압적인 국가권력을 비판하고 조롱함으로써 대중적 인기를 끌었다. 70년대 전통 논의의 자장 안에서, 민중의 저항정신을 전통적 가치로 전유하며 자생한 마당극이나 전통의 대중화를 성취한 극단 미추의 마당 놀이는 예술적 성취로써만 평가되지 않는다. 마찬가지로 전통의 계승과 변용이라는 측면에서 70년대 극단 민예극장이 성취한 것 역시 70년대 전통이 소환되었던 맥락을 제외하고 독립적으로 평가될 수 없다. 70년대 국가 주도의 전통 논의에 대응한 한국연극 평단의 시각이 예술성을 바탕으로 한 공연예술의 질적 성취에만 집중된 대목이 아쉬운 것은 그 때문이다. 이 글에서는 이런 맥락을 비판적으로 검토하고, 이를 바탕으로 70년대 극단 민예극장의 활동을 중심으로 당대 한국연극계의 전통 논의와 그 실천 양상을 살펴보았다. 결과적으로 70년대 극단 민예극장의 활동이 한 계기로 작용했을 대중적 마당놀이나 민중저항의 마당극은 70년대 극단 민예극장이 전통을 전유하는 방식, 곧 전통의 계승과 현대적 변용과의 '차이' 속에 정립되었다. 계기는 되었으나 그에 따른 유의미한 차이를 지속적으로 생산해내지 못한 점, 이것이 극단 민예극장의 '전통'이 70년대 한국연극사에서 차지하는 의미이자 한계이다.
The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. 최근 전 세계적인 원전 설비의 수요 증가로 원자력 전략물자 취급의 중요성이 높아지는 가운데, 국외 수출을 위한 원전 관련 물품 및 기술의 신청 또한 급증하는 추세이다. 전략물자 사전판정 업무는 통상 원자력 물자 관리에 해박한 전문가의 경험 및 지식에 근거하여 수행되어 왔지만, 급증하는 수요에 상응하는 전문 인력의 공급이 부족한 실정이다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위하여, 본 연구진은 전략물자 수출 통제를 위한 사례 기반 지능형 수출 통제 시스템을 설계 및 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 현장 전문가의 전담 업무이던 신규 사례에 대한 전략물자 사전판정 과정 업무의 주요 맥락을 자동화 하여 전문가 및 관계 기관이 감당해야 할 업무 부담을 줄이며, 빠르고 정확한 판정을 돕는 의사결정 지원 시스템의 역할을 맡는다. 개발된 시스템은 사례 기반 추론 (Case Based Reasoning) 방식에 기반을 두어 설계되었는데, 이는 과거 사례의 특성을 활용하여 신규 사례의 해법을 유추하는 추론 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 자연어로 작성된 전자문서 처리에 널리 사용되는 텍스트 마이닝 분석 기법을 원자력 분야에 특화된 형태로 응용하여 전략물자 수출통제 시스템을 설계하였다. 시스템 설계의 근거로 선행 연구에서 제안된 반자동식 핵심어 추출 방안의 성능을 보다 엄밀히 검증하였고, 추출된 핵심어로 신규 사례와 유사한 과거 사례를 추출하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 방안은 텍스트 마이닝 분야의 TF-IDF 방법 및 코사인 유사도 점수를 활용한 결과(
Recently, there is a growing interest toward social commerce using SNS(Social Networking Service), and the size of its market is also expanding due to popularization of smart phones, tablet PCs and other smart devices. Accordingly, various studies have been attempted but it is shown that most of the previous studies have been conducted from perspectives of the users. The purpose of this study is to derive user-centered CSF(Critical Success Factor) of social commerce from the previous studies and analyze the CSF perception gap between social commerce service providers and users. The CSF perception gap between two groups shows that there is a difference between ideal images the service providers hope for and the actual image the service users have on social commerce companies. This study provides effective improvement directions for social commerce companies by presenting current business problems and its solution plans. For this, This study selected Korea's representative social commerce business Ticket Monster, which is dominant in sales and staff size together with its excellent funding power through M&A by stock exchange with the US social commerce business Living Social with Amazon.com as a shareholder in August, 2011, as a target group of social commerce service provider. we have gathered questionnaires from both service providers and the users from October 22, 2012 until October 31, 2012 to conduct an empirical analysis. We surveyed 160 service providers of Ticket Monster We also surveyed 160 social commerce users who have experienced in using Ticket Monster service. Out of 320 surveys, 20 questionaries which were unfit or undependable were discarded. Consequently the remaining 300(service provider 150, user 150)were used for this empirical study. The statistics were analyzed using SPSS 12.0. Implications of the empirical analysis result of this study are as follows: First of all, There are order differences in the importance of social commerce CSF between two groups. While service providers regard Price Economic as the most important CSF influencing purchasing intention, the users regard 'Trust' as the most important CSF influencing purchasing intention. This means that the service providers have to utilize the unique strong point of social commerce which make the customers be trusted rathe than just focusing on selling product at a discounted price. It means that service Providers need to enhance effective communication skills by using SNS and play a vital role as a trusted adviser who provides curation services and explains the value of products through information filtering. Also, they need to pay attention to preventing consumer damages from deceptive and false advertising. service providers have to create the detailed reward system in case of a consumer damages caused by above problems. It can make strong ties with customers. Second, both service providers and users tend to consider that social commerce CSF influencing purchasing intention are Price Economic, Utility, Trust, and Word of Mouth Effect. Accordingly, it can be learned that users are expecting the benefit from the aspect of prices and economy when using social commerce, and service providers should be able to suggest the individualized discount benefit through diverse methods using social network service. Looking into it from the aspect of usefulness, service providers are required to get users to be cognizant of time-saving, efficiency, and convenience when they are using social commerce. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the usefulness of social commerce through the introduction of a new management strategy, such as intensification of search engine of the Website, facilitation in payment through shopping basket, and package distribution. Trust, as mentioned before, is the most important variable in consumers' mind, so it should definitely be managed for sustainable management. If the trust in social commerce should fall due to consumers' damage case due to false and puffery advertising forgeries, it could have a negative influence on the image of the social commerce industry in general. Instead of advertising with famous celebrities and using a bombastic amount of money on marketing expenses, the social commerce industry should be able to use the word of mouth effect between users by making use of the social network service, the major marketing method of initial social commerce. The word of mouth effect occurring from consumers' spontaneous self-marketer's duty performance can bring not only reduction effect in advertising cost to a service provider but it can also prepare the basis of discounted price suggestion to consumers; in this context, the word of mouth effect should be managed as the CSF of social commerce. Third, Trade safety was not derived as one of the CSF. Recently, with e-commerce like social commerce and Internet shopping increasing in a variety of methods, the importance of trade safety on the Internet also increases, but in this study result, trade safety wasn't evaluated as CSF of social commerce by both groups. This study judges that it's because both service provider groups and user group are perceiving that there is a reliable PG(Payment Gateway) which acts for e-payment of Internet transaction. Accordingly, it is understood that both two groups feel that social commerce can have a corporate identity by website and differentiation in products and services in sales, but don't feel a big difference by business in case of e-payment system. In other words, trade safety should be perceived as natural, basic universal service. Fourth, it's necessary that service providers should intensify the communication with users by making use of social network service which is the major marketing method of social commerce and should be able to use the word of mouth effect between users. The word of mouth effect occurring from consumers' spontaneous self- marketer's duty performance can bring not only reduction effect in advertising cost to a service provider but it can also prepare the basis of discounted price suggestion to consumers. in this context, it is judged that the word of mouth effect should be managed as CSF of social commerce. In this paper, the characteristics of social commerce are limited as five independent variables, however, if an additional study is proceeded with more various independent variables, more in-depth study results will be derived. In addition, this research targets social commerce service providers and the users, however, in the consideration of the fact that social commerce is a two-sided market, drawing CSF through an analysis of perception gap between social commerce service providers and its advertisement clients would be worth to be dealt with in a follow-up study.
The supply chain management (SCM) systems have emerged as strong managerial tools for manufacturing firms in enhancing competitive strength. Despite of large investments in the SCM systems, many companies are not fully realizing the promised benefits from the systems. A review of literature on adoption, implementation and success factor of IOS (inter-organization systems), EDI (electronic data interchange) systems, shows that this issue has been examined from multiple theoretic perspectives. And many researchers have attempted to identify the factors which influence the success of system implementation. However, the existing studies have two drawbacks in revealing the determinants of systems implementation success. First, previous researches raise questions as to the appropriateness of research subjects selected. Most SCM systems are operating in the form of private industrial networks, where the participants of the systems consist of two distinct groups: focus companies and vendors. The focus companies are the primary actors in developing and operating the systems, while vendors are passive participants which are connected to the system in order to supply raw materials and parts to the focus companies. Under the circumstance, there are three ways in selecting the research subjects; focus companies only, vendors only, or two parties grouped together. It is hard to find researches that use the focus companies exclusively as the subjects probably due to the insufficient sample size for statistic analysis. Most researches have been conducted using the data collected from both groups. We argue that the SCM success factors cannot be correctly indentified in this case. The focus companies and the vendors are in different positions in many areas regarding the system implementation: firm size, managerial resources, bargaining power, organizational maturity, and etc. There are no obvious reasons to believe that the success factors of the two groups are identical. Grouping the two groups also raises questions on measuring the system success. The benefits from utilizing the systems may not be commonly distributed to the two groups. One group's benefits might be realized at the expenses of the other group considering the situation where vendors participating in SCM systems are under continuous pressures from the focus companies with respect to prices, quality, and delivery time. Therefore, by combining the system outcomes of both groups we cannot measure the system benefits obtained by each group correctly. Second, the measures of system success adopted in the previous researches have shortcoming in measuring the SCM success. User satisfaction, system utilization, and user attitudes toward the systems are most commonly used success measures in the existing studies. These measures have been developed as proxy variables in the studies of decision support systems (DSS) where the contribution of the systems to the organization performance is very difficult to measure. Unlike the DSS, the SCM systems have more specific goals, such as cost saving, inventory reduction, quality improvement, rapid time, and higher customer service. We maintain that more specific measures can be developed instead of proxy variables in order to measure the system benefits correctly. The purpose of this study is to find the determinants of SCM systems success in the perspective of vendor companies. In developing the research model, we have focused on selecting the success factors appropriate for the vendors through reviewing past researches and on developing more accurate success measures. The variables can be classified into following: technological, organizational, and environmental factors on the basis of TOE (Technology-Organization-Environment) framework. The model consists of three independent variables (competition intensity, top management support, and information system maturity), one mediating variable (collaboration), one moderating variable (government support), and a dependent variable (system success). The systems success measures have been developed to reflect the operational benefits of the SCM systems; improvement in planning and analysis capabilities, faster throughput, cost reduction, task integration, and improved product and customer service. The model has been validated using the survey data collected from 122 vendors participating in the SCM systems in Korea. To test for mediation, one should estimate the hierarchical regression analysis on the collaboration. And moderating effect analysis should estimate the moderated multiple regression, examines the effect of the government support. The result shows that information system maturity and top management support are the most important determinants of SCM system success. Supply chain technologies that standardize data formats and enhance information sharing may be adopted by supply chain leader organization because of the influence of focal company in the private industrial networks in order to streamline transactions and improve inter-organization communication. Specially, the need to develop and sustain an information system maturity will provide the focus and purpose to successfully overcome information system obstacles and resistance to innovation diffusion within the supply chain network organization. The support of top management will help focus efforts toward the realization of inter-organizational benefits and lend credibility to functional managers responsible for its implementation. The active involvement, vision, and direction of high level executives provide the impetus needed to sustain the implementation of SCM. The quality of collaboration relationships also is positively related to outcome variable. Collaboration variable is found to have a mediation effect between on influencing factors and implementation success. Higher levels of inter-organizational collaboration behaviors such as shared planning and flexibility in coordinating activities were found to be strongly linked to the vendors trust in the supply chain network. Government support moderates the effect of the IS maturity, competitive intensity, top management support on collaboration and implementation success of SCM. In general, the vendor companies face substantially greater risks in SCM implementation than the larger companies do because of severe constraints on financial and human resources and limited education on SCM systems. Besides resources, Vendors generally lack computer experience and do not have sufficient internal SCM expertise. For these reasons, government supports may establish requirements for firms doing business with the government or provide incentives to adopt, implementation SCM or practices. Government support provides significant improvements in implementation success of SCM when IS maturity, competitive intensity, top management support and collaboration are low. The environmental characteristic of competition intensity has no direct effect on vendor perspective of SCM system success. But, vendors facing above average competition intensity will have a greater need for changing technology. This suggests that companies trying to implement SCM systems should set up compatible supply chain networks and a high-quality collaboration relationship for implementation and performance.
