154 kV급 고온초전도 변압기의 중성선용 60 kV 부싱의 기초 절연설계 (The Basic Insulation Design of 60 kV Bushing for Netural Line of 154 kV Class HTS Transformer)

  • A common problem in many fields of cryogenic power engineering is applying high voltage to cold parts of superconducting apparatus. In many cases, a bushing provides electrical insulation for the conductor which makes the transition from ambient temperature to the cold environment. The 60 kV class cryogenic high voltage bushing for neutral line of the 154 kV / 100MVA high temperature superconducting (HTS) transformer was described. The bushing is energized with the line-to-ground voltage between the coaxial center and outer surrounding conductors; in the axial direction, there was a temperature difference from ambient to about 77 K. For the insulation design of cryogenic bushing, electrical insulation characteristics of the GFRP were discussed in this paper.

  • HVDC is better economic method than HVAC in case of long distance transmission and it is possible to interconnect transmission lines regardless of difference of power frequency. The electrical environment problems of HVDC overhead transmission line are electric field, charged voltage, ion current and so on. For biopolar HVDC lines, most of the ions are directed toward the opposite polarity conductor, but a significant fraction is also directed toward the ground. These problems are major factor to design configuration of HVDC overhead transmission line. Therefore, It is necessary to test an environmental characteristics of HVDC overhead transmission line. In this paper, to assess the ion characteristic of HVDC transmission line, continuous measurements have been done on the biopolar single circuit line with ACSR 480mm2-6 bundle conductors of Gochang HVDC Test line. And then the ion characteristics were analyzed.

가공 배전선에 의한 전자유도 발생 전류 계산 방법 (Formulation of Calculation Method for Inducing Current by Aerial Power Distribution Line)

  • 전력선 시설 중 가공 배전선에 의하여 인근 통신선에 전자유도를 발생시키는 전류를 계산하는 방식을 수립하였다. 가공 배전선의 중성선은 50 m 마다 접지되어 있어서 부하 전류의 귀로 성분이 대지로 누설되기 때문에 주변의 통신선에 전자유도 장해를 발생시키게 된다. 현재 국가 기술기준에서 정하고 있는 방법에 의하면 귀로 전류가 흐르는 중성선을 하나의 차폐 도체로 간주하여 기유도전류를 산정하므로 통신선의 병행 위치에 따른 대지 귀로 전류의 누적적 변화 특성이 반영되지 못하여 계산된 유도전압의 실측값에 대한 오차가 커지지만 실제로 유도를 발생시키는 원인이 되는 대지 귀로 전류를 계산하는 방식을 적용하면 1000 %가 넘는 기존 계산 편차를 100 % 이내로 현격히 줄여주는 효과를 나타내었다.

  • Recently, traction motors in trains are supplied with single phase a.c. power. After this power is converted to d.c. power, it is inverted to three phase power to operate traction motors. As going through the process of the conversion, harmonic current is generated in train. The method of conventional analysis on harmonics, studied by RTRI, is modeled with equivalent circuit of ac AT-fed electric railroad system using by the distributed constant circuit. However, this circuit as two-port network model has some difference in comparison with real system. The reason why the conventional method is different from the real system is that the conventional method dose not include three conductor groups, that is catenary, rail, and feeder, and admittance between the conductors for line capacitance. Therefore, this method has a little error. This paper proposes new method to more effectively estimate Harmonic current. In this method, numerous components in electric railway are categorized and each component is defined as a four- port network model. The equivalent circuit for the entire power supply system is also described into a four-port network model with connections of these components. In order to evaluate the efficiency and the accuracy of a proposed method, it is compared with values measured in Kyung-Bu high speed line and ones calculated by the conventional method.

  • Power line communication or power line carrier (PLC) is a system for carrying data on a conductor and can also used for electric power transmission. Now the powers used in the motor drive system are mostly DC sources. Even AC powers in some systems are generated from DC sources by the inverter. It is can be forecasted that the DC-link PLC technology will be widely used in various industrial fields. In this paper a novel BLDC motor control system using ASK DC-link PLC technology is proposed. The characteristic of this system is that the communication only needs 2 DC lines and there are no additional lines to translate the reference signals. The number of signal cables can be minimized when the DC-link PLC method is applied in the multi motor control system and the slip ring design also can be simplified when this method is applied in rotation machines. The proposed motor control system is clarified by the PSIM and MATLAB simulations and tested through the hardware prototype.

고압회전기 고정자 권선의 부분방전 측정 (Partial Discharge Measurements of High Voltage Rotating Machine Stator Windings)

  • Partial discharge(PD) tests are used to evaluate the insulation condition of stator windings in two 4.16kV and three 6.6kV motors. These tests were conducted using a conventional partial discharge detector(PDD) and turbine generator analyzer(TGA). Off-line PD measurements were performed on five high voltage motors. PD magnitudes ranged from 1000 pC to 5400 pC at the normal line-to-ground voltage. Five high voltage motors have been equipped with 80pF epoxy-mica coupler on the motor terminal box. The PD pulse from sensors were measured with the TGA instrument. TGA summarizes each plot with two Quantities such as the peak PD magnitude(Qm) and the total PD activity(NQN). The defect mechanisms of high voltage motor can be associated with PD patterns such as internal, slot and conductor surface discharges. The PDD and TGA test results of No. 4 motor showed that internal discharge was detected in voids of the groundwall insulation.

전력설비의 전기환경장해 (Electrical Environmental Effects of Power System)

  • 본 논문은 전력설비, 특히 송전선로에 의해서 발생되는 전기환경장해의 특성과 이것의 제한기준에 관한 연구로서, 전기환경기준을 만족하는 송전선로 최적도체선정에 기본이 되며 전기환경장애 민원의 주 항목이 되는 가청소음, 라디오 및 TV장해, 정전유도 그리고 전자유도에 대한 국내 및 세계각국의 관련기준과 법규를 조사, 비교하고 초고압 실증시험선로에서 도출된 결과를 통하여 우리나라 실정에 맞는 전력설비 전기환경 설계기준(안)을 제시하였다.

  • 제주 ${\pm}80kV$ 가공선로는 다양한 가공송전선 중에서 송전용량을 증대시킬 수 있으면서도 기계적인 특성이 뛰어나고(이도특성 우수) 경제성이 있는(지지물 설치비용 및 운영 유지보수 비용 저렴) 전선을 고려하였다. 그 결과, 제주 ${\pm}80kV$ HVDC 가공선로 본선과 귀로선은 최종적으로 ACCC/TW 전선으로 선정하였다. 전선의 단면적은 교류와 직류를 동시에 운전하게 될 제주 시험선로의 특성을 고려하여 송전용량을 주안점으로 두어 154kV 교류 ACSR $330mm^2$에 송전용량에 상응하는 ACCC/TW 전선으로 도체 단면적 $160mm^2$ 전선을 채용하였다.

가공송전선로의 비상용량 응용과 평가 (Application and Evaluation of Emergency Rates in Overhead Transmission Lines)

  • 본 논문에서는 ACSR 가공송전선로의 전력공급 신뢰도를 증진시키기 위한 비상정격의 적용방안에 대하여 기술하였다. 전력산업의 재편으로 인하여 한국전력은 물론 세계의 대부분 전력회사들은 새로운 투자를 하지 않으면서 경제적인 전략들만 모색하여 왔다. 그러나 전력수요가 급격히 증가하였으나 발전량의 증가는 충분히 따라가지 못했다. 따라서 첨두부하 시나 송전선로의 고장의 경우에 기존 송전선로의 송전용량을 증가시키기 위하여, 단시간 또는 장시간정격과 같은 비상용량을 적용하는 방법을 제안한다. 만약 첨두부하시, 정적송전용량 대신에 장시간 비상용량을 적용하면 10 % 또는 그 이상의 전력증대가 가능하다. 또한 2회선 송전선로 중 1회선 고장이나 과부하 경우에 비상용량이 효과적으로 사용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • As we are industrialized lately, power capacity is increased in the city urban areas. So the application of underground transmission line is largely expended. In this paper, we analysis the induction voltage on the sheath of 1,200[$mm^2$] OF underground cable being used 154kV underground transmission line. If the current on the cable conductor is 300[A], circulation current is induced the maximum 100[A] on the cable sheath.
