In a manufacturing technique of the sintered filter, pressureless sintering method has good permeability, it is not need the binder and lubricant used on compacting process, so it has little contamination and it is easy to control the pore size and shape but the mechanical strength is low relatively and it is difficult that parts of complicate form are manufactured. In the case of manufacturing the filter by press and sintering method, in order to be satisfactory characteristic of un-pressed filter, in this study sintered metal filter fabricated by using 30-40mesh stainless steel 316L powder and additive agents. Porosity and structure of pores, permeability and mechanical strength of the sintered filter were investigated with the variation sintering conditions. Porosity was nearly constant about $60{\sim}70%$, density, permeability and mechanical strength were changed markedly with quantity of additive materials and sintering conditions.

The present work is a study on the argon gas pressure effects of Sinter/HIP sintering on microstructure and strength of different grades of TiC-NiMo cermets. Titanium carbide in the composition of different grades of TiC-NiMo cermets was ranged from 40 to 80 wt.% and the ratio of nickel to molybdenum in the initial powder composition was 1:1, 2:1 and 4:1 respectively. On the sintered alloys, the main strength characteristic, transverse rupture strength (TRS) was measured. Furthermore, the microstructure parameters of some alloys were measured and the pressure effect on pore elimination was evaluated. All the results were compared with common, vacuum sintered alloys. The TRS values of TiC-NiMo cermets could be considerably improved by using Sinter/HIP technique, for high-carbide fraction alloys and for alloys sintered at elevated temperatures.

Synthesis of zinc oxide nanorods, sheets and flower like structure were done by the sol-gel method using zinc acetate dihydrate and sodium hydroxide at $80^{\circ}C$ with 12 hours refluxing time nanorods, in case of as synthesized powder, with diameter of 20-60nm. Annealing at higher temperature (300 and $500^{\circ}C$,) in air ambient changes the morphology to sheet and flower like structure. The standard peak of zinc oxide was observed in IR at $523cm^{-1}$. The UV-VIS spectroscopy of zinc oxide shows a characteristic peak at 375nm.

The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of the Dressing-Room lay-out in brand-apartments as the strategy for the differentiation. The 441 floor-plans are collected by searching web-sites of the 5 main construction companies. The major findings are summarized as follows: (1) The Dressing-Rooms are designed in the 331 cases among 441 the floor-plans including the Dressing-Room are generally over 30 Pyeong(about 99 square meters). In addition, the entire cases above 60 Pyeong(about 198 square meters) include the Dressing-Room. (2) The size of the Dressing-Room is increased in proportion to the square meter. However, the ratio is the small range of fluctuation. (3) The types of Dressing-Room units are classified 4 categories : a dressing-room joined powder room, a dressing-room separated from bathroom, a dressing room without powder room, a powder room centering with dressing room and bathroom.
Traditionally, the persimmon Gojongsi (Diospyros kaki Thunb) is peeled to make dried persimmons and the skins are thrown away. In this study, the quality characteristics of cookies containing persimmon peel powder were tested for recycling of the persimmon peels. The amounts of persimmon peel powder added to the cookies were about 0, 5, 7, 9 and 11%. The densities of the cookies of the control group and the persimmon peel powder containing experimental group were 1.25 and 1.25~1.37 respectively. The pH was 6.02 for the control group and 5.95~6.01 for the experimental group. Significant differences in the moisture content were observed between groups at 3.34 and 2.16~3.31 for the control and experimental groups, respectively (p<0.05). The spreadabilities and loss rates of the cookies increased with increasing amounts of persimmon peel powder (p<0.05). In contrast, the loss rates and leavening rate of the cookies decreased significantly with decreasing amounts of persimmon peel powder (p<0.05). The lightness of the cookies showed significant decrease (p<0.05), while the redness and yellowness increased with increasing amounts of persimmon peel powder. The hardness (kg) of the control group was 0.847 while that of the experimental group was 0.904~1.110. In the QDA, the results of sensory characteristic analysis showed that the experimental group earned 11% higher scores for color, flavor, taste, and bitterness, 7% higher for appearance and 9% higher for after taste. The consumer acceptance test revealed the experimental group to have a 7% more positive evaluation for color, favor, taste and texture than the control group. On the grounds of the experiment above, the optimal mixture ratio from the sensory test was found to be 7% persimmon peel powder in the cookies.
The effects of adding green tea powder on the quality and storage characteristics of tofu were studied. As the addition of green tea powder increased, the moisture content of tofu was decreased but those of crude protein and the crude ash were increased. The addition of green tea powder increased the production of whey and consequently decreased the yield of tofu. At the beginning of storage, the pH of the tofu with green tea powder was increased, but decreased rapidly at the eighth day of storage. The pH of tofu-soaking solution was decreased during the storage period. The L and b values showed no significant changes but a value was increased during storage. Textural characteristics of tofu added with green tea powder also did not show significant changes during storage. Although the total plate counts and absorbances of soaking solution of tofu were increased during storage, the samples with 1.0% green tea powder had the lowest TPC (3.0$\times$10$\^$6/ CFU/ml) and the lowest absorbance (0.175) at the eighth day of storage.
The Ni-base superalloy GTD111 DS is used in the first stage blade of high power land-based gas turbines. Advanced repair technologies of the blade have been introduced to the gas turbine industry over recent years. The effect of the filler metal powder on Transient Liquid Phase bonding phenomenon and tensile mechanical properties was investigated on the GTD111 DS superalloy. At the filler metal powder N series, the base metal powders fully melted at the initial time and a large amount of the base metal near the bonded interlayer was dissolved by liquid inter metal. Liquid filler metal powder was eliminated by isothermal solidification which was controlled by the diffusion of B into the base metal. The solids in the bonded interlayer grew from the base metal near the bonded interlayer inward the insert metal during the isothermal solidification. The bond strength of N series filler metal powder was over 1000 MPa. and ${\gamma}'$ phase size of N series TLP bonded region was similar with base metal by influence of Ti, Al elements. At the insert metal powder M series, the Si element fluidity of the filler metal was good but microstructure irregularity on bonded region because of excessive Si element. Nuclear of solids formed not only from the base metal near the bonded interlayer but also from the remained filler metal powder in the bonded interlayer. When the isothermal solidification was finished, the content of the elements in the boned interlayer was approximately equal to that of the base metal. But boride and silicide formed in the base metal near the bonded interlayer. And these boride decreased with the increasing of holding time. The bond strength of M series filler metal powder was about 400 MPa.
In this study, two types of SKD61 tool-steel samples are built by a selective laser melting (SLM) process using the different laser scan speeds. The characteristics of two kinds of SKD61 tool-steel powders used in the SLM process are evaluated. Commercial SKD61 tool-steel power has a flowability of 16.68 sec/50 g and its Hausner ratio is calculated to be 1.25 by apparent and tapped density. Also, the fabricated SKD61 tool steel powder fabricated by a gas atomization process has a flowability of 21.3 sec/50 g and its Hausner ratio is calculated to be 1.18. Therefore, we confirmed that the two powders used in this study have excellent flowability. Samples are fabricated to measure mechanical properties. The highest densities of the SKD61 tool-steel samples, fabricated under the same conditions, are $7.734g/cm^3$ (using commercial SKD61 powder) and $7.652g/cm^3$ (using fabricated SKD61 powder), measured with Archimedes method. Hardness is measured by Rockwell hardness testing equipment 5 times and the highest hardnesses of the samples are 54.56 HRC (commercial powder) and 52.62 HRC (fabricated powder). Also, the measured tensile strengths are approximately 1,721 MPa (commercial SKD61 powder) and 1,552 MPa (fabricated SKD61 powder), respectively.
