Thermal post-buckling behavior of GPLRMF cylindrical shells with initial geometrical imperfection

  • Initial geometrical imperfection is an important factor affecting the structural characteristics of plate and shell structures. Studying the effect of geometrical imperfection on the structural characteristics of cylindrical shell is beneficial to explore the thermal post-buckling response characteristics of cylindrical shell. Therefore, we devote to investigating the thermal post-buckling behavior of graphene platelets reinforced mental foam (GPLRMF) cylindrical shells with geometrical imperfection. The properties of GPLRMF material with considering three types of graphene platelets (GPLs) distribution patterns are introduced firstly. Subsequently, based on Donnell nonlinear shell theory, the governing equations of cylindrical shell are derived according to Eulerian-Lagrange equations. Taking into account two different boundary conditions namely simply supported (S-S) and clamped supported (C-S), the Galerkin principle is used to solve the governing equations. Finally, the impact of initial geometrical imperfections, the GPLs distribution types, the porosity distribution types, the porosity coefficient as well as the GPLs mass fraction on the thermal post-buckling response of the cylindrical shells are analyzed.

Assessment of seismic fragility curves for existing RC buildings in Algiers after the 2003 Boumerdes earthquake

  • The main purpose of this paper is to develop seismic fragility curves for existing reinforced concrete, RC, buildings based on the post earthquake field survey and the seismic performance using capacity design. Existing RC buildings constitute approximately 65% of the total stock in Algiers. This type of buildings, RC, was widely used in the past and chosen as the structural type for the future construction program of more than 2 millions apartments all over Algeria. These buildings, suffered moderate to extensive damage after the 2003 Boumerdes earthquake, on May 21st. The determination of analytical seismic fragility curves for low-rise and mid-rise existing RC buildings was carried out based on the consistent and complete post earthquake survey after that event. The information on the damaged existing RC buildings was investigated and evaluated by experts. Thirty four (34) communes (districts) of fifty seven (57), the most populated and affected by earthquake damage were considered in this study. Utilizing the field observed damage data and the Japanese Seismic Index Methodology, based on the capacity design method. Seismic fragility curves were developed for those buildings with a large number data in order to get a statistically significant sample size. According to the construction period and the code design, four types of existing RC buildings were considered. Buildings designed with pre-code (very poor structural behavior before 1955), Buildings designed with low code (poor structural behavior, between 1955-1981), buildings designed with medium code (moderate structural behavior, between 1981-1999) and buildings designed with high code (good structural behavior, after 1999).

Foucault의 후기구조주의적 시각에서 본 19세기 패션에 표현된 성 - 19세기 중.후반 남녀 주류 패션과 반패션에 나타난 여성성과 남성성을 중심으로 - (Sexuality Expressed in the 19C Fashion in Foucauldian Post-Structural Perspective - Focusing on Femininity and Masculinity Represented in the Mainstream Fashion and Anti-Fashion in the Middle and Latter of the Nineteenth Century -)

  • The purpose of this study was to understand sexuality expressed in fashion in a discursive view and reinterpret sexuality represented in fashion in the 19th century in Foucauldian post-structural perspective. As for methodology, at first the conception of sexuality was examined from structural feminism to post-structural pluralism by a literature review and discussed in relation with the matters of body and fashion on the basis of Foucault's discourse. Then, sexuality represented in the 19C fashion as a case study was re-estimated in terms of power relationship between dominant and oppositional discourses and mainstream fashion and anti-fashion as well. The conception of sexuality in Foucauldian post-structuralism maintains the view of plural sexuality, which floats by discourse and power produced in a specific historical context. In the Foucauldian perspective sexuality expressed in the mainstream fashion and anti-fashion in the nineteenth century shows the following aspects. The mainstream fashion in the middle and latter of the 19C made the clear sexual difference in dress of plain and functional male suit and extravagant and decorative female dress on the center of bourgeois masculinity in the context of modernity and capitalism. Although anti-fashion was also co-existed with the mainstream fashion, it was criticized by the Victorian people. It codifies sexual ideology of the binary opposition of male domination and female subordination. Therefore, the traditional sexual ideology in the 19C is a capitalist value, which gives a priority to bourgeois man's profits, and the Victorian discourses of sexuality constructs the clear sexual difference in dress in the period.

2,400 MPa 강연선용 포스트텐션 정착구의 하중전달성능 (The Load Transfer Performance of Post-tension Anchorage with 2,400 MPa Strands)

  • 인장강도가 2,400 MPa인 강연선이 개발되어 콘크리트구조기준 및 KS 규격에 반영되었다. 고강도 프리스트레스트 강연선이 구조물에 적용되기 위해서는 그에 적합한 정착시스템이 함께 사용되어야 한다. 최근에 2,400 MPa 강연선 적용을 위한 포스트텐션 정착구의 개발이 진행되어왔으나, 성능평가에 대한 연구가 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 2,400 MPa 강연선을 적용한 포스트텐션 정착구 중 가장 활용도가 높은 9 가닥, 15 가닥, 19 가닥 정착구에 대하여 PTI의 Anchorage Design Zone에 의한 국소구역 구조검토를 실시하였고, ETAG013 및 KCI-PS101에 의한 하중전달성능평가를 수행하였다. 또한 비선형 수치해석을 통해 시험의 적절성을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 2,400 MPa 정착구는 국소구역의 구조성능을 만족하고, 하중전달성능 조건을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다.

긴장력이 도입된 곡면벽체의 충돌저항성능 수치해석평가 (Assessment of Impact Resistance Performance of Post-tensioned Curved Wall using Numerical Impact Analysis)

  • 이 논문에서는 벽체의 형상(평면벽체, 곡면벽체) 및 벽체에 도입된 긴장력이 충돌저항성능에 미치는 영향을 수치해석적 기법을 사용하여 평가하고자 하였다. 벽체의 곡률 및 긴장력 도입률을 변수로 총 12 케이스의 충돌해석을 수행하였으며, 충돌체로는 상용 민항기엔진의 3차원 상세모델을 사용하였다. 충돌저항성능을 평가하기 위해 관입깊이와 벽체 중앙부 후면의 최대 변위를 비교하였다. 긴장력의 도입에 의해 관입깊이는 약 60~80% 수준으로 감소하는 것으로 나타났으나, 후면 변위는 큰 차이가 나타나지 않았으며, 벽체 형상에 따른 차이는 상대적으로 크지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

RC 부재의 휨 보강을 위한 외부 비부착형 탄소섬유판 포스트텐션 시스템 (Post-tensioning System with Externally Unbonded CFRP Strips for Strengthening RC Members)

  • 본 연구에서는 외부 비부착형 프리스트레스트 탄소섬유판으로 보강된 RC보의 휨거동을 분석하기 위한 실험연구를 수행하였다. 실험체는 프리스트레스 양 및 정착장치의 형상을 변수로 총 10개로 제작되었다. 또한 프리스트레스의 도입에 따른 구조성능 비교를 위하여 기준실험체와 단순부착 실험체를 함께 제작하였다. 실험결과, 단순 부착 탄소섬유판으로 보강된 부재는 조기 박리에 의해 탄소섬유판 인장강도의 50% 이하에서 최종파괴되었다. 그러나, 프리스트레스를 도입하여 보강한 실험체는 모두 탄소섬유판의 파단하중까지 도달하였다. 또한 스터드형 정착장치를 적용한 실험체들의 보강성능은 매립형 정착장치를 적용한 실험체와 동등한 보강성능을 나타내었다.

중년여성의 애착, 외상 후 성장 및 자기실현과의 관계 (Relationship Between Attachment, Post-traumatic Growth, and Self-realization of Middle-aged Women)

  • 본 연구는 중년여성을 대상으로 이들이 경험하는 외상사건의 유형과 특성을 살펴보고 이들이 외상 후 성장과 자기실현을 이루는 과정에서 애착이 미치는 영향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구 참여자는 서울, 경기지역의 중년여성 221명이었고 설문지는 외상경험 질문지, 애착 척도, 외상 후 성장 척도, 자기실현 척도로 구성되었으며, 중년여성의 외상경험 유형과 특성은 빈도분석을 실시하였고, 각 변인들 간의 관계를 분석하기 위해 상관계수와 구조방정식 모형검증을 통해 확인하였다. 주요연구 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 가까운 사람의 상실(사망, 이별, 이혼, 실연, 절교)이 중년여성들에게 일반적이고, 가장 큰 위기 사건으로 보고되었고, 둘째, 애착, 외상 후 성장, 자기실현 간의 관계를 살펴보면, 부 모안정애착, 영적변화는 인간성, 자기수용성의 하위변인을 제외한 모든 하위변인에서 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 구조방정식 모형검증 결과, 애착이 외상 후 성장과 자기실현에 정적인 영향을 미치고, 외상 후 성장이 애착과 자기실현을 매개하는 변인으로 나타났다.

Strengthening of preloaded RC columns by post compressed plates-a review

  • Reinforced concrete (RC) columns, as the primary load-bearing structural components in buildings, may need to be strengthened due to material deteriorations, changes in usage, new building codes or new design requirements. The use of post compressed plates (PCP) to strengthen existing RC columns has been proven experimentally and practically to be effective in solving stress-lagging effects between the original column and the new strengthening jacket caused by the pre-existing loads. This paper presents a comprehensive summary and review of PCP strengthening techniques to strengthen preloaded RC columns. The failure mode, deformability, and ductility of the strengthened RC columns are reviewed.

RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링으로 증착 된 GZO 박막의 진공 열처리온도에 따른 구조적, 광학적, 전기적 특성 연구 (Effect of Post Deposition Annealing Temperature on the Structural, Optical and Electrical Properties of GZO Films Prepared by RF Magnetron Sputtering)

  • Ga doped ZnO thin films were deposited with RF magnetron sputtering on glass substrate without intentional substrate heating and then the effect of post deposition annealing temperature on the structural, optical and electrical properties of the films was investigated. The post deposition annealing process was conducted for 30 minutes in a vacuum of $1{\times}10^{-3}$ Torr and the vacuum annealing temperatures were 150 and $300^{\circ}C$, respectively. As increase annealing temperature, GZO films show the increment of the prefer orientation of ZnO (002) diffraction peak in the XRD pattern and the optical transmittance in a visible wave region was also increased, while the electrical sheet resistance was decreased. The figure of merit obtained in this study means that GZO films which vacuum annealed at $300^{\circ}C$ have the highest optoelectrical performance in this study.
