  • Nowadays, additive manufacturing (AM) technology is a promising process to fabricate complex shaped devices applied in medical and dental services. Among the AM processes, a DLP (digital light processing) type 3D printing process has some advantages, such as high precision, relatively low cost, etc. In this work, we propose a simple method to fabricate precise dental models using a DLP 3D printer. After 3D printing, a part is commonly post-cured using secondary UV-curing equipment for complete polymerization. However, some shrinkage occurs during the post-curing process, so we adaptively control the UV-exposure time on each layer for over- or under-curing to change the local shape-size of a part in the DLP process. From the results, the shrinkage amounts in the post-curing process vary due to the UV-dose in 3D printing. We believe that the proposed method can be utilized to fabricate dental models precisely, even with a change of the 3D CAD model.

  • Translucent plastics are commonly used in packaging of mechanical and/or electrical components. Although Rapid Prototyping(RP) provides prototypes of various materials, translucent RP parts are not readily available from most RP processes. ABSi is one of the ABS materials available for Stratasys' FDM process, and the material had potential to be translucent. In this paper, two post-processing techniques were applied in order to increase optical transmissivity of the parts made of FDM's ABSi. First, elevated temperature condition was applied resulting in increased transmissivity while dimensional shrinkage was observed. Second, resin infiltration and surface sanding provided up tp 16 % transmissivity without shrinkage. These post-processes can be selectively applied to increase transmissivity of ABSi parts. Thus, translucent FDM part can be fabricated from regular FDM process followed by the post-processes developed in this study.

  • This paper presents a process and operation planning system and an NC code post-processor for effective machining of press dies for production of cars. Based on the machining feature, major parts of press dies are categorized into 15 groups and a standard process plan is defined for each group. The standard process plan consists of a series of processes where a process is defined as a group of operations that can be done with one setup. Details such as cutting tools, cutting conditions, and tool paths are decided at the operation planning stage. At the final stage of process and operation planning, the NC code post-processor adjusts feedrates along the tool path to reduce machining time while maintaining the quality. The adjustment rule is selected based on the machining load estimated by virtual machining.

  • This study was undertaken to examine difficulties confronted by interviewees during post-divorce adjustment, and to investigate factors which influence critically to the post-divorce adjustment.. Interviewees were confronted with severe economic difficulties but the post-divorce adjustment was not much influenced by such economic difficulties. Supportive social network such as parents, brothers and sisters, friends, self-help group of single parents was related to the positive post-divorce adjustment. After divorce, some interviewees did not tend to meet their friends. All parents thought their children to be sources of support throughout the divorce process and their post-divorce life. On the other hand, some noncustodial parents felt guilty and a serious deprivation. Divorce initiator factor was not related to the post-divorce adjustment. To the most interviewees, the period before the decision to divorce was the most difficult one.

  • In most RP processes, the inherent stair-stepped surfaces and shrinkage-induced warping of the parts require post processing such as surface finishing. To minimize such defects, VLH-ST, a newly developed RP process, employs a 3.9-mm thick expandable polystyrene (EPS) foam sheet and a hot wire to contour it to have slant linear-interpolated sides. The use of relatively thick sheets for layers, however, limits the process capability of constructing fine details, especially smaller than the layer thickness. This study is focused on the development of a post processing method fo fine details of VLM-ST parts. The post-processing tool was designed to meet all the requirements for the desirable post processing. It adopted a hot wire as a means of melting the EPS foam sheet. Various basic experiments on the post processing were carried out to obtain the optimal process conditions. The dominant process parameters such as the radiated heat input, the tool speed, and the gap between the tool tip and the foam sheet (tool height) were considered in the experiments. The effectiveness of the developed post-processing method fo forming or engraving fine details on the VLM-ST parts has been thus demonstrated. The experiments on engraving several sets of letters, such as CANESM, 인간, and 한국과학기술원, on the EPS foam sheet were carried out. In addition, a flowery shape was engraved on a three-dimensionally curved surface of a pottery-shape VLM-ST part.

  • This study was aimed to investigate treatment feasibility of leachate from D landfill that is located in gyr대ungbuk. From the analytical results of leachate, organic and nonbiodegradable matters were contained in high concentration. Thus chemical treatment was introduced to degrade nonbiodegradable matters in pre or post biological process. Two types of Fenton oxidation were adapted in this study. The first one is pre treatment process before biological treatment. The second one is post treatment process after biological treatment. The optimal conditions of both treatment methods were investigated as follows. In case of pre treatment process, the optimal conditions appeared in $Fe^{+2}/H_2O_2$(mmol/mmol): 0.1, $H_2O_2/CODcr$(mg/mg): 27.0, pH: 3 and reaction time: 2hrs. On the other hand, in case of post treatment process, the optimal conditions appeared in $Fe^{2+}$(mmol/mmol): 0.14, $H_2O_2/COD_{cr}$(mg/mg): 57.4, pH: 3 and reaction time: 1.25hrs. In the above optimal conditions, high COD removal was obtained in pre and post treatment process. Also it can expect that Fenton oxidation converted nonbiodegradable matters into biodegradable matters.

  • The molecular weight of proteins and protein hydrolysis products (PHP) in the fractionated post-production marinating brines left after herring marination process was determined by the HPLC. The proteins and PHP retention was evaluated in the three-stage purification process with the usage of polypropylene bag ($25{\mu}m$) and ceramic membranes with the cut-off of 150 and 1 kDa. It was found that the process of marination contributes to high participation of compounds in the post-production marinating brines. Those are characterised by low molecular weight, formed as a result of protein hydrolysis. Each stage of the scavenging process was reducing the content of proteins and PHP. The lowest retention was observed in the stage at which a PP bag was used, while the highest in the UF process, with the usage of 150 kDa membrane. The total retention of proteins and PHP differed according to the type of post-production marinating brines and reached the level of 16-22%.

  • Debugging is very important element in programming development. We can find a lot of bug of program we made, and we can fix it. but after a product is released, we need system we can catch bugs as soon as possible. For this, we need to know post-mortem debugging. We will look at post-mortem debugging, and we will talk about process dump. Also when process get the problem, we should get the process dump, but we can have situation process dump was not generated. We will consider this case, and we will examine programming technique which this case can be retrieved. Finally, I will introduce EHModule(exception handler module)

  • Recently the plastic fuel tube is usually used to reduce production cost and weight in automobiles. These days, material used to plastic fuel tube is the polyamide12. The fuel tube is made of the PA12. Post deformation of the tube has been changed by environmental temperature. So, it is important to prevent post deformation. The experiment is performed to investigate post deformation of the tube produced by each bending process. In this study, the results we obtained are used to bending process system for post deformation as the environmental temperature of the tube. It turned out that the method of steam heating and air cooling was shown less deformation than other methods.

  • Aluminum Resistance Spot Weld(Al RSW) is an enabling technology for body assembly of low mass fraction vehicles. Due to the unreliable durability of spot-welded joints, applications of Al RSW are limited. This study presents experimental investigation on the use of a post-weld cold working process to improve the fatigue strength of Al RSW. The post-weld cold working process includes special shaped indenters that are pressed or driven into the structure to induce compressive residual stresses. The mechanical properties of the post-weld cold worked Al RSW were investigated, including the experimental results of fatigue and micro-hardness tests. Comparisons of the mechanical properties and qualitative results between the as-welded RSW specimens and the post-weld cold worked RSW specimens are discussed. The post-weld cold worked Al RSW samples had an increase in both microhardness and fatigue life.
