Recently in the post-modernism era ethnic look tropical look or ecological look has prevailed as an important theme of fashion all over the world. The main core of these themes is based on primitivism. The purpose of this study was first to com-prehend the internal meaning and the exteral form of primitivism in modern fashion second to compare the characteristics of primitivism in art with those in modern fashion as one of the phenomena in cultural consistency. For this purpose documentary studies about primitivism in social science and art were preceded as a framework of this study and then objective studies about primitivism in modern fashion and art were analyzed. Primi-tivism expressed in clothing since the 16th century was also historically traced. the results were as follows: 1. Primitivism in modern fashion was summarized by emotionality play ecology and aboriginality as well as was represented by ex-ternal forms of open form part-to-whole re-lation planar intergration rounded form and indeterminate form It was demonstrated that the external form of primitivism in art and fashion is quite similar and is an example of cultural consistency. So it is reaffirmed that fashion is the production of culture representing zeitgeist as a genre of art. 2, Modernism in the early 20th century brought the richness of materials through the de-velopment of the mechanical culture emphasizing rationality as well as functionalism, Fashion also has been influenced by this modern-ism so it has tended to express only the beauty which emphasizes the functional aspects of clothing and excludes the decorative characters. The primitivism in recent fashion is against the flow of modernism. In a word the pursuit for the regression to nature and the recovering of hu-manity is the core of the primitivism in modern fashion.

The stage of modernism(1945-1969) cold war time between communism and capi-talism and promotin of women's human rights were established in this time. 1) Pop art avantgrade art were catched up 2) The popular trends of were new look Kior's line silhoutte mini skirt and young fashion. 3) The popular trend of hair style was french twist. Pill Boxs hat curly bob style were prevalenced and they some what dwarfed hair style. 4) make-up natural make-up was popular. III. The stage of high economic development (1969-1990) Increased population economic development were tend to specialize with anti-social action such as Hippie and Punk groups. 1) Op art Androgynous post-modernism Punk and neo-modernism were catched up. 2) Clothes : classic style of reactionism layered look Punk-fashion avantgrade fashion and pantalon suits were prevalence. 3) Hair Style : Twiggy's short hair style the geometric hair cut natural long hair Spike hair unsex-hair style. 4) Make-up : diversified individuality were prevalence The result of this study indicated that the value's of recognize the importance of total fashion that is the harmonization of clothes hair style and make-up.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors which have formed gender images in men's fashion since the middle of the 19th century. For this purpose, the images of gender in fashion were analyzed and historical studies about gender images in men's fashion from the middle of the 19th century to the present days were done. Historically images of gender expressed in fashion were masculine image feminine image androgynous image and genderless image. Among those images masculine image and genderless image. Among those image masculine image and androgynous image have been the gender images in men's fashion since the middle of the 19th century. In psychoanalytic view point the factors which have formed the gender images are related with sexual pleasure. Libido for looking narcissism and exhibitionism have produced masculine image and androgynous image in men's fashion, In socioeconomic view point power structure between the sexes have built the gender images in fashion. Masculine image and androgynous image came in to being in men's fashion for the purpose of displaying power or expressing opposition to power structure between the sexes, In aesthetic view point the aesthetic sense of each age about sex have constructed the gender images. Modernism had influence on building masculine image and post-modernism have formed androgynous image in men's fashion.

The purpose of this study is to understand graffiti images in fashion trends since 2000 and to play a guiding role in the development of fashion designs. The methods of this study are an academic literature review as well as practical study through actual case studies about. The formative characteristics of graffiti in fashion since 2000 are summarized as amusement, abstract and improvisation as follows. First, amusement graffiti is humble, weak and unfinished, but the immature and informal characters give people vitality, composure and enjoyment. It stirs up memories of childhood and induces a close affinity and comfort, and so It expresses relaxing and cozy desire. Second, abstract graffiti represents ambiguity and obscurity beyond form. It is born by reacting to equality, symmetry, mechanism, man-created beauty and the completeness of modernism. The characteristics are disorder, uncertainty, incompletion, uniformity, freedom, nature and so on. Third, improvisation graffiti is deeply related to 'indeterminacy' of post modernism which cannot forecast a perfection. This is more important as a process than an effect. Improvisation pursues humanism which denies perfection and determinacy by reaction of new technology.

모더니즘의 끝자락이자 포스트모던의 출발점 사이인 미묘한 시점의 순수예술에서 시작된 미니멀리즘은 Fine Art에서 그치지 않고 건축, 의상, 디자인 등 전반적인 조형분야와 다양한 분야에 그 영향을 끼치게 되었다. 이러한 미니멀리즘과 최근 디지털 디바이스 환경에서 이슈로 떠오르고 있는 사용자 경험 디자인을 역사적, 이론적으로 비교 고찰해 봄으로써 디지털 환경의 사용자 경험 디자인 프로세스가 단순히 실용적인 디자인 테크닉에 머무르지 않고 보다 체계 있는 학문적 이론으로 거듭날 수 있도록 연구하였다. 그 결과 사용자 경험 디자인의 프로세스와 미니멀리즘의 속성 및 사조에서 매우 유사한 동질성을 발견 하였고, 그 동질성을 바탕으로 미니멀리즘과 사용자 경험 디자인의 학술적, 이론적 정리를 진행하여, 향후 디지털 디자인 프로세스의 학문적, 철학적 인프라를 구축할 수 있는 계기를 마련하고자 하였다.

This study investigated the influence of cultural and general trend of the times on fashion trends and the hybridization of these trends. The objectives of this study were to suggest new approach method of the fashion forecasting and to find out the cultural meanings and values of fashion. Key words that explains fashion trend from spring/summer of 1995 to fall/winter of 2002 were collected from professional fashion trend journals. These terms were analysed with domain analysis based on the semantic relationship. The frequency of their appearance in each season and the aspect of their appearance in each season were analysed. The hybrids of the fashion trends were analysed longitudinally and cross-sectionally as well by investigating the cover terms that were found as a result of domain analysis. The method used in this study can be applied to future study of fashion trend in that it offers an objective view of fashion trend and can allow researchers to study fashion trend in a concrete way.

오늘날 도시 환경을 비롯한 공공환경은 국가의 문화적 잠재력이라는 점에서 매우 중요시되고 있다. 또, 지금껏 국내의 환경 디자인이 건축, 도시계획의 관점에서만 주로 연구 되어져오고, 다양한 문화요소의 복합체로서 고찰된 측면은 아직 미비한 상황이다. 더욱이 사람과 환경간의 지대한 커뮤니케이션 역할을 담당하는 도시의 슈퍼 그래픽에 대한 연구는 미흡하여 슈퍼그래픽이 실제로 공공의 충분한 공감대를 형성하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 슈퍼그래픽에 대한 이해와 그 발전과정의 중요한 동기와 역할이 되는 현대미술과의 상관성을 고찰해봄으로서 슈퍼그래픽이 더욱 예술적, 정보학적, 미학적 관점의 커뮤니케이션 수단으로 활성화 될 것을 연구 목적한다. 현대미술을 모더니즘 미술과 포스트모더니즘 미술로 구분하여 슈퍼그래픽과의 상관성을 연구하였다.
