항공기 표적의 HRRP-JEM 영상에서 복소 신호의 이심률을 이용한 제트 엔진 위치 추정 (Localization of Jet Engine Position from HRRP-JEM Images of Aircraft Targets Using Eccentricity of Complex-Valued Signals)

  • 2005년에 처음 소개된 HRRP-JEM(High Resolution Range Profile-Jet Engine Modulation) 영상은 항공기 표적에 탑재된 제트 엔진의 장착 위치를 추정함으로써 레이더 표적 인식을 수행한다. 본 논문에서는 복소 신호의 이심률을 기반으로 HRRP-JEM 영상에서 제트 엔진 위치를 추정하기 위한 새로운 접근법을 제시한다. 복소 신호의 이심률은 HRRP-JEM 영상을 구성하는 어떤 거리 성분(range bin)에서의 레이더 수신 신호에 미치는 JEM 성분의 기여도를 효과적으로 산출할 수 있다. 따라서 JEM 성분의 기여도가 가장 큰 거리 성분이 제트 엔진의 위치에 해당하며, 이를 짚어냄으로써 보다 정량적이고 신뢰성 있는 제트 엔진 위치 추정이 가능할 것으로 기대된다. 사실적인 항공기 모델의 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 본 논문에서 제안한 개념의 유효성을 입증하였다.

Novel Position Controller for PMSM Based on State Feedback and Load Torque Feed-Forward

  • In this paper, a novel position controller based on state feedback and feed-forward is proposed. Traditional position and speed controllers are replaced by a single controller with the position and speed as state feedbacks, and the position command and load torque as feed-forwards. The feedback and feed-forward gains are obtained by analytic modeling and design. The load torque, rotor speed and position are estimated by an observer based on a Kalman filter (KF) with a low resolution mechanical position sensor. Feed-forward compensation by an estimated load torque is used to improve the dynamic performance during load torque changes.

  • Application of vector control scheme for consumer products is enlarging to improve control performance. For the field-oriented control, accurate position detection is essential and generally requires expensive sensors. On the other hand, cost-reduction is important in home appliances, so that binary-type Hall-effect sensors are commonly used rather than using an expensive sensor such as an encoder. The control performance is directly influenced by the accuracy of the position information, and there exist non-uniformities related to Hall sensors in electrical and mechanical aspects, which result in distorted position information. Therefore, to get high-precision position information from low-resolution Hall sensors, this paper proposes a new position estimator consisting of a Kalman filter and feedforward compensation scheme, which generates a linearly changing position signal. The efficacy of the proposed scheme is verified by simulation and experimental results carried out with a 48-pole permanent magnet motor.

  • For a precise position control with the resolution of a micrometer, a dual servo system is constructed using a linear motor and a piezoelectric actuator. The switching mode dual servo algorithm is implemented on a DSP board in which A/D and D/A converters are also mounted. It is shown by the experimental results that the precise position control is performed within a few micrometer of position error by using the dual servo system.

Multi-task learning with contextual hierarchical attention for Korean coreference resolution

  • Coreference resolution is a task in discourse analysis that links several headwords used in any document object. We suggest pointer networks-based coreference resolution for Korean using multi-task learning (MTL) with an attention mechanism for a hierarchical structure. As Korean is a head-final language, the head can easily be found. Our model learns the distribution by referring to the same entity position and utilizes a pointer network to conduct coreference resolution depending on the input headword. As the input is a document, the input sequence is very long. Thus, the core idea is to learn the word- and sentence-level distributions in parallel with MTL, while using a shared representation to address the long sequence problem. The suggested technique is used to generate word representations for Korean based on contextual information using pre-trained language models for Korean. In the same experimental conditions, our model performed roughly 1.8% better on CoNLL F1 than previous research without hierarchical structure.

  • In the case of long-stator linear drives, unlike rotative drives for which speed or position sensors are a single unit attached to the shaft, these sensors extend along the guideway. The position signal transmitted from maglev vehicle can't meet the need of the real-time propulsion control. In this paper the position estimator for propulsion inverter driving long stator linear synchronous motor (LSLSM) in high speed maglev train is proposed. In order to get the higher resolution of the position information transmitted from vehicle, Full order state observer is proposed for position estimator.

소비자분쟁해결제도에 중재제도 도입가능성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Possibility of Introducing Arbitration Program to Consumer Dispute Resolution System)

  • There are significant differences between disputes among enterprises and disputes between consumers and an enterprise. A majority of consumers may suffer from the same damages at the same time with small amount concerned and sometimes low chances for find the real cause. Among these distinctive features, the most significant characteristic in consumer-business disputes can be found in that consumers are in a disadvantageous position compared to businesses. When it comes to consumer policy, the biggest aim lies with turning back the damage a consumer is suffering into normalcy. In this regard, the Consumer Dispute Resolution System is the most essential among consumer policies. In Korea, the Collective Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) System was introduced to the Consumer Dispute Resolution System in 2007 in line with revision on the Consumer Basic Law. However, smooth damage redress for consumers is still not taking place. Against this backdrop, this report suggests that 'consumer arbitration' program should be introduced to the Consumer Dispute Resolution System as part of making good and smooth progress for consumer damage redress.

Adaptive Threshold Detector를 이용한 펄스 위치 계산 (Pulse Position Determination using Adaptive Threshold Detector)

  • 독립 협동형 감시시스템인 이차감시레이더(SSR)의 위치 정보의 해상도를 높이기 위해 다변측정감시시스템(MLAT)이 항공 감시시스템에 적용되고 있다. 다변측정감시시스템은 쌍곡선(hyperbola) 또는 쌍곡면(hyperboloid) 위치 측정법을 이용하는 시스템으로 4개 이상의 지상 수신기에서 TOA (time of arrival)값을 측정하고 이를 중앙처리장치에서 각 수신기 상호간의 수신시각차 (TDOA; time difference of arrival)를 이용하여 항공기의 위치를 계산한다. TDOA (time difference of arrival) 알고리즘을 이용하는 다변측정감시시스템의 위치 측정 해상도를 높이기 위해서는 먼저 항공기에 탑재된 트랜스폰더에서 송출된 신호가 수신기에 수신되는 시간인 TOA(time of arrival)를 정밀하게 측정하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 다변측정감시시스템의 구성에 대해 간략히 설명하였으며 TOA를 측정하기 위한 방법 중 하나인 ATD (adaptive threshold detector)에 대하여 간략히 설명하였다. ATD는 동일 신호에 대한 수신기간 수신한 신호의 진폭 차에 의해 발생하는 펄스 위치 편차 문제를 해결하는 방식이다. 본 논문에서는 ATD의 종류 중 LAS (level adjuster System)과 CDS (constant-fraction discriminator system)에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과와 기본적인 임계값을 적용한 펄스 위치 계산 시뮬레이션 결과를 비교하여 ATD의 성능을 분석하였다.

영구 자석형 스텝모터의 위치 검출 (A position Detector of Permanent Magnet Step Motors)

  • A position detection method for 2 phase bifilar permanent magnet step motors is proposed. The back emfgenerated on 2 phase windings by rotor permanent magnet is calculated using motor terminal voltage and current by analog circuit, and the rotor position output is obtained from tese back emf signals through some logical manipulation circuit. This position detector functionally acts like a 2 channel optical incremental encoder, and it is also shown by experimental results that it works well over wide range of speed or under resonant condition where the rotor rings around the detent position. Its resolution is twice of the number of steps per revolution. Bu software implemented on micro-processor, the reliability of position output is enhanced, detecting and correcting error dut to external and/ or internal noise.

  • The PMSM position sensor using two rectangular hall sensors can restrictively acquire the 90[$^{\circ}$] position information of rotor according to electrical angle. Thus, the control method using this position sensor cannot react properly to a rapid load torque change. On the other hand, even though a sensorless method has the advantage of acquiring instantaneous rotor position information, the accuracy of position sensor can be determined by the gain value of estimator. This paper suggests a robust speed control method on torque fluctuation condition, which combines low cost two rectangular hall sensors and sensorless control method.
