This paper examines the major determinants affecting the user satisfaction on e-Trade portal sites in small and medium-sized exporters. The development of our research model is based on the empirical studies on the service quality of information system, web sites or Internet shopping mall, and on the factors influencing the user satisfaction. With the help of a regression analysis and factor analysis, five hypotheses are derived and tested. The results from regression analysis suggest that the user satisfaction of e-Trade portal sites is affected by information characteristics and ease of use of e-Trade portal sites. In addition, the user satisfaction of e-Trade portal sites is enhanced by support for international trade. Our findings will be useful, especially for those who are planning to build user-oriented e-Trade portal sites.

In this study, the total information portal service for urban regeneration was constructed to supply comprehensive information for Korean urban regeneration. The portal service is largely divided into an information analysis service for urban regeneration and an information disclosure service. For total information portal service, the information analysis service constructed a system for making district level decline diagnosis and city and county level potential analysis. Moreover, it can construct and control analyzed information specified at the district level. The information disclosure service consists of functions capable of recycling information, interworking the analysis service and facilitating expert participation. It also supplies data of total information DB in reprocessable format. For revitalization of communities, the information analysis service is constructed to lead experts on urban regeneration to share their opinions.

The demand of tunnels has been increased for the linear improvement of general national highway, and road construction and/or enlargement in Korea. Also, the collapses of tunnel portal slope have been increased in recent due to heavy rain caused by global warming. Therefore, it has been risen the requirement of system for the stability of tunnel portal slope in Korea as well as all over the world. The objective of this research is to develop an effective maintenance system for supervising the tunnel portal slope. This paper is a basic proposal to execute a survey on the current status and state of the tunnel portal slopes that were already installed along general national highways.

The Cutting slope is to be minimized when a tunnel meets the contour of slope terrain at a right angle around its portal. However, a tunnel portal has been generally installed at a right angle to the longitudinal axis of a tunnel with no consideration of the intersection angle with the slope terrain. This sometimes tended to cause huge cutting slope that resulted in many disadvantage in terms of safty, economy and environment. Therefore, the minimization of cutting slope is studied by taking the intersection angle into account, and the result is compared with that by the conventional method. In addition a design method for the inclined portal to the tunnel axis is proposed through 3D-FEM analysis, also the applicable ground condition is suggested.

Due to changes in information technology and the information environment, portal services, including library service, which systematically provides information needed on the Internet have become popular in our daily lives. In light of that, this study, in order to enhance our understanding on portal services, examines and analyzes Dibrary, the National Digital Lirary, portal services including main portal, regional information, policy information, multicultural information, the information for the handicapped, and the Dibrary blogs. Accordingly, the emphasis has been put on decency, accuracy, usefulness/user-friendliness, and publicity/promotion for the diffusion and activation of Dibrary portal services.

With the result of the analysis, we present the promising contents as follows: video conference service, financial service, stock trading service, traffic information service, location map service, emergency rescue service, and so on.

The comparative analysis of a portal image and a simulation image is a very important process in radiotherapy for verifying the accuracy of an actual treatment field. In this study, we applied a chamfer-matching algorithm to compare a portal image with a simulation image and verified the accuracy of the algorithm to analyze the field matching error in the portal image. We also developed an analysis program that could analyze the two images more effectively with a chamfer-matching method and demonstrated its efficacy through a feasibility study. With virtual portal images, the accuracy of the analysis algorithm were acceptable considering the average error of shift (0.64 mm), rotation (0.32$^{\circ}$), and scale (1.61%). When the portal images of a head and neck phantom were analyzed, the accuracy and suitability of the developed analysis program was proven considering the acceptable average error of shift (1.55 mm), rotation (0.80$^{\circ}$), and scale (1.72%). We verified the applicability of a chamfer-matching algorithm to the comparative analysis of a portal image with a simulation image. The analysis program developed in this study was a practical tool to calculate the quantitative error of the treatment field in a portal image.

The portal is conceptualized as a discovery gateway to facilitate the communication and sharing of geographic data and information. Generally, Geospatial portal serve the different function and service according to the operational agents and goal. It was shown that Geospatial Portal might be constructed, based on the integration of the public data and Geospatial data portal, OpenAPI, shared Cloud Infrastructure. Ultimately, this study suggests the analysis results for Geospatial Information Prortal trends and contribute to the future development of Geospatial Information Open Platform(called Vworld).

This study conducted a fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis study on culture and arts information portals to ensure practical and universal use and activation of culture and arts information portals. The capabilities and influence of affordances and system literacy according to user experience regarding accessibility to cultural arts information portals are as follows. First, physical affordances in the culture and arts information portal were key conditions for the culture and arts information portal user experience regarding system accessibility, system understandability, system usability, system usability, and system literacy. Second, the functional affordance of the user experience in the cultural arts information portal was relatively low and unimportant, and when the functional affordance was low, the user's system accessibility, system understanding, system usefulness, system usability, and system literacy were increased. Third, if the user's functional affordance and sensory affordance are low in the culture and arts information portal, the system accessibility, system understanding, system usability, and system literacy of the culture and arts information portal users are increased. Fourth, cultural arts information portals must build an innovative system with a systematic approach appropriate for the user base by linking system literacy capabilities with a focus on physical affordances.

Recently, the social commerce on Facebook.com and Twitter.com, which is represented by SNS (Social Network Service), has been expanding in the form of a combination of SNS market. This study attempted to examine the cost-effect analysis between portal-based advertisement and SNS-based advertisement in order to establish an effective advertising strategy for e-learning content providers. The results showed that portal-based advertisement is more effective than SNS-based advertisement in terms of advertising effectiveness against cost. According to these empirical research results, this article discusses the practical implications for e-learning content providers in an attempt to enable them to take competitive advantage.
