관계 유형 관점에서의 항만물류 공급망 분석 (Analysis on the Supply Chain of Port & Logistics, Industry from the Viewpoint of its Relationship)

  • 공급망을 효율적으로 관리하기 위해서는 공급망의 특성과 구조에 대한 이해가 선행되어야 하는데, 이를 위해서는 공급망을 분석할 수 있는 프레임워크가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 공급망을 관계유형의 관점에서 분석할 수 있는 프레임워크를 제시하고 있다. 이러한 프레임워크를 토대로 공급망 관계 유형을 분석함으로써 공급망 상에 놓여있는 각 주체들의 공급망 수준을 파악할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 프레임워크를 항만물류산업에 적용함으로써 우리나라 항만물류산업의 공급망 수준이 어느 정도인지 파악하고 앞으로 발전적인 공급망을 형성하기 위해 고려해야 할 사항들을 도출하였다.

사료 부원료 하역과정에서 발생하는 비산먼지의 여과특성 (Filtration Characteristics of the Fugitive Dust Emitting from Animal Feedstuff Handling)

  • Animal feedstuff handling is one of the major fugitive dust sources in the port of Incheon. For the effective control of fugitive dusts emitting from the port of Incheon, dust control facilities with bag filter systems should be designed properly considering the characteristic of the fugitive dusts including those from animal feedstuffs. The ultimate goal of this study is thus to develop the optimum fugitive dust control system which will be applicable for the renovation of the port. As the first step to achieve this longstanding goal, filtration characteristics of soybean shell, the largest dust sources in the port, were investigated with the specially designed filter testing apparatus for this study. The variables tested for the experiments included filter materials, dust concentrations, relative humidities, and filtration velocities. Also, the filtration characteristics of the other animal feedstuffs such as sunflower seed shell, tapioca, and palm shell were investigated to determine $K_2$ as a function of filtration velocity. The information on $K_2$ will be used to design the optimum bag filter systems for animal feedstuffs handling in the port.

Dual-Port SDRAM Optimization with Semaphore Authority Management Controller

  • This paper proposes the semaphore authority management (SAM) controller to optimize the dual-port SDRAM (DPSDRAM) in the mobile multimedia systems. Recently, the DPSDRAM with a shared bank enabling the exchange of data between two processors at high speed has been developed for mobile multimedia systems based on dual-processors. However, the latency of DPSDRAM caused by the semaphore for preventing the access contention at the shared bank slows down the data transfer rate and reduces the memory bandwidth. The methodology of SAM increases the data transfer rate by minimizing the semaphore latency. The SAM prevents the latency of reading the semaphore register of DPSDRAM, and reduces the latency of waiting for the authority of the shared bank to be changed. It also reduces the number of authority requests and the number of times authority changes. The experimental results using a 1 Gb DPSDRAM (OneDRAM) with the SAM controllers at 66 MHz show 1.6 times improvement of the data transfer rate between two processors compared with the traditional controller. In addition, the SAM shows bandwidth enhancement of up to 38% for port A and 31% for port B compared with the traditional controller.

  • 한국 정부는 부산신항을 세계 2위의 환적중심 항만으로 육성하기 위한 정책 목표를 수립하고 있다. 본 논문은 이와 같은 정책 목표 달성의 한 가지 방법으로 타부두 환적의 효율적인 교통 시스템 제시를 목적으로 한다 이를 위해 각 터미널 간 타부두 환적화물에 대한 네가지 시스템을 제안한다.; Double stack Multiple Trailer System(DMTS), 철도 기반 교통 시스템, 타부두 환적 화물에 대한 전용 도로 및 플랫폼. 이는 효율적인 타부두 환적 화물의 처리를 가능하게 하여 시간 및 비용을 절감할 방안을 제시할 것으로 생각 된다.

  • Recently, the increasing trend for the transshipment traffic of Busan port in Korea is slowing down because of the extensive development plan of domestic ports in china. For solving this problem, Korea is going on the project for preoccupying the transshipment port for attraction of port traffic from the newly potential markets(NPM) based on the Northeast Asia area. As a part of the project, this paper proposes the efficient methodology for selecting the optimal shipping network and strategic transshipment port within NPM using the mathematical models and simulation analysis. For that, we firstly find the alternative transshipment ports within NPM through the status analysis of the current port traffic and shipping network and then, we choose the candidate transshipment-ports in order of minimizing the transport costs through the mathematical approach. With the scenarios based on the selected transshipment-ports, we perform the simulation analysis for choosing the optimal transshipment-ports and the shipping network minimizing the total costs and times concurrently. We expect that the results of this paper will be used efficiently when korea select the strategic transshipment-port in the future.

  • This paper aims to propose a design for simulation systems for container terminal operation evaluation. The systems cover both terminal design simulation for medium and long tern decision making and terminal operations simulation for day to day decision making. And both systems include the container terminal operation components, quay, yard and gate operations. 포트 스캐닝 기법 기반의 공격을 탐지하기 위한 실시간 스캔 탐지 시스템 구현 (A Real Time Scan Detection System against Attacks based on Port Scanning Techniques)

  • 포트 스캐닝 탐지 시스템은 “False Positive”(실제 공격이 아닌데 공격이라고 탐지, 오탐지)와 “False Negative”(실제 공격인데 공격이 아니라고 탐지, 미탐지)가 낮아야 하는 등의 시스템 성능에 관한 요구사항과, 해당 탐지 시스템을 활용한 보안관리가 용이해야 하는 등의 사용자 친화적인 요구사항을 만족할 필요가 있다. 그러나 공개되어 있는 실시간 스캔 탐지 시스템은 False Positive가 높고 다양한 스캔 기법에 대한 탐지가 잘 이루어지지 않고 있다. 또한 실시간 스캔 탐지 시스템의 대부분이 명령어 기반으로 이루어져 있기 때문에 이률 활용하여 시스템 보안 관리를 수행하는데 많은 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 새로운 필터 룰 집합의 적용에 의해 포트 스캐닝 기법 기반의 다양한 공격을 탐지 할 수 있고, 공격자의 행동 패턴으로부터 유도된 ABP-Rule의 적용에 의해 False Positive를 최소화할 수 있는 실시간 스캔 탐지 시스템(TkRTSD)을 제안한다. 또한 Tcl/Tk를 이용하여 GUI환경을 구축함으로써 사용자가 쉽게 보안관리를 할 수 있는 사용자 친화적인 탐지 시스템을 제안한다.

Improvement of Coastal Wave Observation Reliability by Using Composite Type Cables

  • Acoustic and pressure type seabed installed wave sensors have advantage in observing long period infra-gravity wave and tsunami, while buoy type wave gauges which measure acceleration of the moored buoy motion are not able to detect long period waves. That's why most of the Japanese coastal wave observation sensors are seabed installed typed ones. Nationwide Japanese coastal wave observation systems with seabed installed sensors are gradually clarifying long-period tsunami profiles and infra-gravity wave characteristics (Nagai.et.al., 1996, 1997,2000,2002a,2002b).   • The Singapore Strait is one of the world's busiest waterways used by international shipping Coupled with this, the Port of Singapore is the world's busiest port in terms of shipping and cargo tonnage and the second busiest container port. Navigational safety is Singapore's concern and we are convinced that the ECDIS is the key to further enhancing navigational safety in the Singapore Strait and the port waters of Singapore. We have initiated the production of Electronic Navigational Chart data and invested in infrastructural supporting facilities such as DGPS brodcast service for use with ECDIS as well as other maritime systems.

  • The demands of complicated data communications have issued a new challenge to port logistics systems. Customers expect ports to handle their generated administrative data while a vessel is docked in a port. One port logistics system, known as the Vessel Clearance Process (VCP), manages large numbers of documents related to port of entry. In the VCP, information flows through many organizations such as the port authority, shipping agents, marine offices, immigration offices, and others. Therefore, for effective management of the Business Process (BP) of the VCP, a standardized method of BP modeling is essential, especially in heterogeneous system environments. In a port, according to port policy, terms and data are sued that are similar to but different from those of other logistics partners, which hinders standardized modeling of the BP. In order to avoid tedious and time-consuming document customization work, more convenient modeling of BP for VCP is essential. This paper proposes an ontology-based process similarity measurement to assist designer for process modeling in port domain, especially VCP. We expect that this methodology will use convenient and quick modeling of port business processes.
