군산항 배후단지의 로지스틱스 전략 (A Study on the Logistics Strategies in Kunsan Port's Hinterland)

  • The purpose of this study is to consolidate the position of Kunsan Port as a Hub-port in Northeast asian region with the development of Kunsan port's hinterland. To accomplish the purpose, this paper firstly reviews the concept and function of port's hinterland literally. Next, We attempt to grasps the trends of port logistics service in this region, and to cope with this trends, study the previous researches of logistics platform(LP). Based upon the study, We find out the main factors of improving efficiency in port logistics, and build the model of logistics strategy with such factors as (1) Environment (2) Marketing (3) Logistics Chain and (4) Logistics community. And in order to applicate the model, we analyze the current situation of Kunsan port and port's hinterland. Finally, we provide the logistics strategies in Kunsan port's hinterland.

물류중심형 자유지대의 경제적 파급효과에 관한 연구 - 부산항을 중심으로 - (Economic Effects of Establishing a Logistic Free Zone in the Port of Busan)

  • This study probes the necessity of establishing a logistic free zone in Port of Busan. It considers the economic effects of establishing the logistic free zone of Busan Port, and suggests policy prescriptions for introducing the free zone system and improving the logistics functions of Busan Port. Using input-output table data, the regression analysis was able to provide a quantitative prediction on effects of making the Busan Port a tariff-free zone. Influence for the regional economy due to the enforcement of the free zone system this research found that a strong positive effects should be expected on the Busan regional economy once the logistic free zone would be set up at the Port of Busan. The positive economic effects on Busan regional industries might be further strengthened if the value-added logistics function of Busan Port could be supplemented by linking to the hinterland of Busan Port.

광양항 및 광양만권 경제자유구역의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 (The development device of Gwangyang port and Gwangyang bay in accordance with its free economic zone)

  • With the globalization of economy, there is keen competition among rountries to be a logistics hub and companies are striving to be first in establishing logistics system centering on advantageous sites, especially airport and seaports, to perform supply, production and distribution. Korea competing with Northeast Asia countries is also working out strategies in order to make Korea peninsula a logistics center of Northeast Asia taking advantage of its geographical strength. Gwangyang port has designated as Free Economic Zone together with Pusan and Jinhae, Incheon from October 24th, 2003. However, the introduction of Free Economic Zone in Korea lagged behind other major countries and it has a lot of operational problems. Approximately 600 areas worldwide are designated and operated as a Free Economic Zone and Gwangyang port and its surrounding area has several points to be settled as one of FEZ. First one is its limited functions and related laws. Next is imperfection on development, investment and management system of the hinterland. Lark of promotion activities could be one of the problems. This paper analyzes the above problems and presents various measures to activate Gwangyang Port and Gwangyang Free Economic Zone as follows Benchmarking to promote Gwangyang Free Economic Zone as follows Benchmarking other countries' system, governmental support, introduction & logistics functions, early development of the hinterland, supply of effective one-stop service, investment attraction into the area and diversified promotion & marketing activities.

CFPR 방법을 활용한 인천항 자유무역지역 최적 후보지 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Selection of Optimal Candidates for Free Trade Area in Incheon Port using CFPR Method)

  • 인천항의 성장을 지속시키고 항만배후단지와 연계된 발전을 추구하기 위해서는 자유무역지역의 지정이 시급히 필요하다. 본 연구는 인천항 자유무역지역 최적 후보지에 대한 입지평가와 정책적 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 하였으며, 요인 우선순위를 그룹별로 도출하여 비교했다. 본 연구에서는 언어학적 척도를 정량화하고 평가할 수 있는 CFPR(Consistent Fuzzy Preference Relation) 분석기법을 이용하였다. 인천항 자유무역지역의 입지를 평가한 결과, 인천신항 배후부지, 아암물류 2단지, 북항 배후단지, 경인항 배후단지 등 4개 후보지역 중 인천신항 배후부지가 가장 높은 점수를 받았다. 인천신항 배후부지는 정성적·정량적인 요인으로 구성된 총 8개의 평가요인 중 정성적인 요인 4개 모두에서 1위, 정량적 요인 1개 등 종합점수 1위로 인천항 자유무역지역 지정 최적 후보지로 평가되었다. 또한 그룹별 요인 중요도 비교에서는 그룹 1에서는 입주 기업 유치 가능성이 가장 높으며, 그룹 2는 단지 규모, 그리고 그룹 3에서도 입주 기업 유치 가능성이 가장 높은 중요도를 나타냈다. 본 연구는 자유무역지역 입지선정과 평가에 중요한 요인을 제시하였다는 시사점을 갖는다. 향후 연구에서는 연구 대상 확대 또는 각 집단의 이해관계를 반영한 요인선정등 세분화된 실증연구가 필요하다.

  • The Purpose of this study is to exmaine fundamental problems of Gwangyang Port and draw up plans of its Hub Port. Gwangyang Port has been gradually reduced container cargo increase rate. on account of large development of Chinese Port, undevelopment of Hinterland, Port facilities of Gwangyang Port. We should develop hinterland to be closely connected with Port Cluster, Business City, Free Economic Zone to increase cargo volume. and in order to increase transshipment cargo volume, We should prepare diverse plans that can induce Chinese and Japanese transshipment cargo. Gwangyang Port and Busan Port should be managed united one port system by a Port Authority to strengthen international competitiveness. Activation of new ports for the most part call for full support by Government at the beginning. Gwangyang Port's future it can be if Government has strong will.

물류중심지 광양항의 경쟁력 확보 방안에 관한 연구 (Strengthening the Competitiveness of Gwangyang Port as Logistics Hub)

  • The goal of the project on developing Korea as the logistics hub of Northeast Asia is to develop Busan Port and Gwangyang Port as international logistics centers by promoting and attracting more warehouses. As is well known, there is intense competition among ports located in major economic blocs to become the regional logistics hub. Gwangyang is second to none in terms of being favorably located at the center of Northeast Asia. Gwangyang Port, however, lacked in SOC construction and faced the poor government support politics hub of Northeast Asia. They are i) expanding the logistics infrastructuressuch as expressway and railroads between Yeosu Airport and Gwangyang Port, ii) Setting up new port hinterland and industrial complex in the vicinity of Gwangyang Port iii) securing high value-added fixed cargo traffic, and iv) improving laws and institutions.

상하이 양산항과 신항(Busan New Port)의 경쟁력 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis on the Competitiveness between Busan New Port and Shanghai's New Yangshan Port)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the competitiveness between Busan New Port and Shanghai's New Yangshan Port, on an island 20 miles off the Chinese mainland coast. For this aim, the paper examines backgrounds of Yangshan Port construction and its related projects, namely, Donghai Bridge and Luchao Logistics Park including operation strategies of Yangshan New Deepwater Port. The main results of this paper are as follows: Busan New Port has competitive advantage over Yangshan Port in terms of ideal location, especially in Asia-North America route, and connection between terminal and hinterland logistics park. Because Busan New Port is operated by fully on-dock system. Nevertheless, Yangshan Port has more strength in its centrality, port tariff and port productivity, which are represented by crane productivity, quay productivity and area productivity. Therefore, Korean ports are recommended by transformation from cargo attraction-type to cargo generation-type port through early activation of port logistics center along with Free Economic Zone.

신항 항만배후단지 워터프론트의 합리적 개발방안 (Reasonable Developments of Hinterland Waterfront in Busan New Port)

  • 최근 외국항만들은 그 특성에 따라 다양한 유형의 워터프론트를 조성하여 도시민의 생활향상과 항만배후단지의 또 다른 부가가치를 창출하고 있다. 그러나 우리나라의 경우 높은 무역의존도에 따라 항만은 단순한 화물처리공간으로써 기능에 중점을 두어 개발되었으며 현재 개발중인 신항의 경우도 외국항만들이 다양한 유형의 워터프론트를 조성하고 있는데도 불구하고 단순 공원조성외 에는 별다른 워터프론트에 대한 계획이 없다. 따라서 본 논문은 신항을 물류기능과 시민들의 휴식하고 즐길 수 있는 친수공간(water front) 그리고 동시에 제반업무를 수행할 수 있는 생활공간이 함께 갖추어진 종합적인 항만공간으로 개발하기 위한 외국항만사례를 중심으로 몇 가지 워터프론트 방안을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 물류 주거단지의 인접지역에 광장 조경시설 등 어항의 환경정화를 위한 시설설치 둘째, 이용자의 편익향상을 위한 워터프론트 개발 셋째, 외국 관광객을 위한 위락시설내 워터랜드 건설 넷째, 항만배후단지내 상징물 건설 다섯째, 항만배후물류단지의 미관지구지정 등을 들 수 있다.
