Pick-up/delivery of consumer goods to offices, shops, and restaurants in order to support urban lives is one of the most vital activities in a city. With economic growth and technological innovation, a greater variety of goods have come to be supplied, and pick-up/delivery of consumer goods has become more complex. Efficient urban goods movement in Central Business District(CBD} starts with an efficient system for loading/unloading, and pick-up/delivery activities. Loading/unloading activity may be carried out on-street, or on especially designated space inside or outside buildings. Therefore, purpose of this study is to clarity the efficient urban goods movement in CBD(also called the pick-up/delivery activity) from the three different types of loading/unloading facilities. For this purpose, the differences in loading/unloading and truck-trip activity time of each loading/unloading facility was compared by performing the simulation analysis.

The World has been rapidly changing into either technological aspects or perception of those who has utilised to the corresponding informational impact. Whatever areas we have actually been involved in are strongly connected with this evolution of informational technology in one way or another. Logistics is not a exception as well as trade. Two main routes in distribution channel such as commercial and physical flow of goods, have been operating in terms of I-business. In order to activate E-trade with E-commerce, E-logistics should be utilised and emphasized in more efficient and effective manner of doing job as a facilitator. So, in this paper, it studied the role of E-logistics to make E-trade better work as well as to look into present situations in E-commerce. Then, it was identified that some facilities as 3PL or shipping company have to adopt information in their business process with a view of valued add service providers. This means those who have implemented E-Logistics activities, should be more competitive in the market, only when they provide the value-added total logistics services.

This paper focuses on the frozen storage warehouse located in Busan area, and it is because Busan is the most dense area in Korea. Busan is a port city, and almost all of the frozen refrigerated cargo imported from abroad is concentrated. By taking advantage of its strength as a fishery industry as well as importing, Busan is building the largest international fishery logistics base in Northeast Asia and plays an important role in the export of refrigerated cargo is. Therefore, although the freezing and chilling facilities seem to be developed with the latest technology, the reality is not so. Most of them are functioning as a warehouse, that is, a storage function, and a considerable number of refrigerated warehouses are in a state of aging. Therefore, in this paper, the facility and function restructuring of the freezing storage warehouse have been set as a solution task, and the introduction of the cold chain system containing the latest smart technology has been proposed as a solution.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the spatial change of coastal area called Nampo-dong in Busan. And then the subject of research was chiefly concentrated upon the development of southern coast and the land-reclamation based on the commercial facilities after the opening port. There were various reclamation projects in the coastal area of Japanese settlement under the Rule of Japan. Busan Nambin Coast(Currently, Nampo-dong) was one of typical reclamation projects conducted in the southern seashore. Due to the characteristic of coastal area, fishery was developed well and the entertainment industry also grew rapidly with the characteristic of the short distance of urban centre. In this study, we investigated the process of reflecting the characteristic of spatial change that were pursued by communities at that time, particularly through the establishment and change of buildings.

Most of Cities are suffering from the traffic congestion problem with the vehicles increased. Especially, the City of Pusan is experiencing the severest traffic congestion with the lower read capacity and the higher travel demand than any other cities in the country. Thus, the purpose of this study was to grasp the conditions, review the problems and finally suggest the improvements which we faced at this time for the construction of the Urban Transportation System considered in Pusan area. Based upon the results, it was concluded that firstly the Urban Transportation System(UTS) in Pusan area should be constructed by the Public Transportation System in the center of the Public Transit Modes(i.e., bus and subway), secondly the Para-transit Modes(i.e., Light Rail Transit, LRT) introduced, and thirdly the Transportation Demand Management(TDM) implemented with the expansion of the transportation facilities if possible.

Today travel demand in the City of Pusan is increasing with the wide scope of activity and the better living circumstances as a big city with a population of about 4 million. Also, the transportation problem of Pusan city becomes one of the severest urban problems with travel demand increasing in spite of the continuous expansion of the transportation facilities. The purpose in this study is to find the travel characteristics on the arterial under the study, construct the optimal Transportation System Management(TSM) which could increase the travel capacity of the arterial based upon the optimal travel systems constructed. Thus, it was concluded that more emphasis should be of the automobiles into the Downtown areas, increase the travel capacity of the arterial through Mass Transportation System(MTS) including the HOV lanes or the Bus Exclusive Lanes instead.

A Teleport is an integrated facility that provides its users with fast, convenient access to advanced telecommunicatoins by satellites, fiberobtics, microwave and other networks. A teleport town is an urban sub-center equipped with teleport and other telecommunication infra-facilities. This study is based on the explicit disclimination between these two related concepts. In this paper we classify various types of teleport town with respect to the specific conditions and situation in Korea. The teleport town which will be developed in Korea should be fitted into the balanced regional structure to boost up the effects of urban or regional development plan. Three models of teleport town(large scale, middle scale, small scale) are proposed on the basis of the classified types of teleport town.

항만 계류시설에 작용하는 접안력은 접안에너지에 근거하여 계산하게 된다. 접안력을 결정하는 절대적인 요소로서 현장에서 안전한 도선을 위해 주의해야 할 것이 바로 '선박접안속도'이다. 본 연구에서는 선박접안속도 관련 국내외 동향을 살펴보고, 안전하고 효율적인 부두설계 및 도선운영을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 국내부두에서 접안속도 실측데이터를 통계적 수단 및 알고리즘을 통해 분석하였다.

본 연구는 경기바다의 접근성, 마리나시설, 수산자원의 한계, 어촌의 초고령화 등의 상황을 근거로 하여 어촌과 해양레저의 상생을 위하여 연안공간에서 발생하는 갈등 원인을 파악하고 섬 활성화를 위하여 수도권과 인접한 경기바다 지역의 특색을 활용해 효율적인 연안공간 사용을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. ‥‥(중략)‥‥본 연구를 통해 해양레저 산업인프라 구축을 통한 청년 유입, 어촌과 해양레저활동을 연계한 체험활동 및 교육 등 지속적이고 자생적인 경기바다의 발전을 도모하고자 한다.
