산화에 의한 산림환경변화가 토양의 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Forest Environmental Changes on Soil Characteristics by Forest Fire)

  • 본 연구는 충남 금산군에 위치한 산화적지에서 산화후 개벌지역과 비개벌지역을 대상으로 산림식생의 존재여부가 산림토양의 이화학적 성질 변화로 인한 수저유능력에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 가비중, 공극율(조공극 및 세공극), 투수성, 통기성 및 유기물 함량을 비교 분석하였다. 주요 측정인자들에 의해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 산화지역의 비개벌지 및 개벌지에서 토양 통기성과 투수성을 측정한 결과 비개벌지가 개벌지 보다 양호하였으며, 특히 산정보다는 산록부근에서 가장 큰 차이를 보였다. 또한 산화 뒤 2년이 경과된 후 가장 큰 변화가 나타난 부분은 표토 5∼15cm층이었다. 토양공극 분포는 비개벌지가 개벌지 보다 전공극, 조공극, 세공극이 높게 나타났으며, 토심이 증가함에 따라 전공극량과 조공극량은 감소하였다. 토양가비중은 비개벌지가 개벌지 보다 낮게 나타났으며, 토심이 증가할수록 높게 나타났다. 또한 산록>산복>산정 순으로 통기성, 투수성, 전공극 등이 동일하게 나타났다. 유기물함량은 비개벌지가 개벌지 보다 높았으며 토심이 증가할수록 감소하였다. 토심의 증가에 따라 토양가비중은 정의 상관관계를 나타냈고, 전공극량, 조공극, 통기성, 투수성 및 유기물함량은 부의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 산화적지에서 개벌에 따른 산림환경 변화는 토양의 물리성 및 화학성을 악화시키는 것으로 나타났다.

진동대 시험을 통한 액상화되는 지반의 수평지반반력계수에 대한 연구 (Modulus of Horizontal Subgrade Reaction in Liquefying Sand by Shaking Table Test)

  • Shaking table tests were peformed to evaluate the subgrade reaction of ground according to the build-up of pore water pressure. Model pile was installed in the sand ground. The acceleration of the model ground, the pore water pressure build-up and displacement of pile were recorded by measuring devices. Subgrade reaction approach based on Winker soil model was applied to obtain the modulus of the horizontal subgrade reaction. The results of analysis show that the reduction factor of the subgrade reaction due to pore pressure increase is about 1 and the horizontal subgrade reaction of liquefied ground is not influenced by the stiffness of pile, a ground acceleration and the intial ground density.

패각분말을 이용한 살균성 메디아의 제조 및 정수기용 필터에 대한 응용 (Manufacture of Sterilizing Media with Shell Powder and It's Application to the Filter of Water Clarifier)

  • Antimicrobial powder was made by exchanging silver ion on calcined oyster shell. On the purpose of application to water clarifier, bail-type media mixed with antimicrobial powder and $0{\sim}30%$ white kaoline were made. The sterilization effect, pore size distribution and zeta potential was tested to indicate the condition for the media of water clarifier. From these tests, it was confirmed that this media have an excellent sterilization power on $G^-\;and\;G^+$ germs. As the concentration of the exchanged silver ion increased, the surface charge density of the anions on the surface of the media also increased. The surface pore size decreased with the concentration of silver ion and 20% more white kaoline ratio. Consequently, mixing ratio of white kaoline would appear to indicate the optimun condition as media have sterilization power.

The influence of the radius of curvature on water desalination across the nanoporous penta-graphene

  • In the present study, the water desalination across the penta-graphene has been explored by using molecular dynamics simulation. The penta-graphene, a new carbon allotrope, introduced theoretically in 2015. It was shown that this carbon nanostructure is slightly stiffer against buckling in comparison with the graphene nanoribbons. The effect of radius of curvature (ROC) of the membrane, pore size, and applied pressure, on water flow rate, and salt rejection is investigated. It is shown that salt rejection, and the shape of the oxygen density distribution inside the pore can be influenced by the ROC of membrane. Finally, it is shown that the ROC, and pore size of 2D membranes, play an important role in the salt rejection.

  • Focusing on the effect of excess pore pressure dissipation on liquefaction-induced ground deformation, a series of 1-g shaking table tests were conducted in a rigid soil container by use of saturated Toyoura sand, the relative density of which was 20-60%. These tests were subjected to the sinusoidal base shaking with step increased accelerations: 100, 200, 300 and 400 Gals for 2-4 seconds. Shaking table tests were done using either water or polymer fluid with more viscous than water, thus varying the sand permeability of model tests. Excess pore pressures, accelerations, settlements and lateral deformations were measured in each test. Test results are presented in this paper and the effect of sand permeability on liquefaction and liquefaction-induced ground deformation was discussed in detail.

355nm UV 레이저를 이용한 선택적 하이브리드 구조 필름의 제작에 관한 연구 (A study on selective hybrid-structure film fabricated by 355nm UV-pulsed laser processing)

  • 본 연구에서는 발포제를 이용하여 형성된 기공을 확대하는 방식의 공정으로써, 선택적 하이브리드 구조의 폴리머 필름의 제작을 위한 새로운 발포기술을 제시하였다. 기존의 발포제만을 이용한 폐쇄형 기공보다 큰 기공을 형성하기 위해서 PP에 발포제와 구리분말(Copper powder)을 혼합하여 만든 필름 내부에 355nm파장의 UV 펄스레이저를 이용하여 LAMO(Laser Aided Micro pore Opening) 공정 방식을 통한 기공의 크기를 확장하는 실험을 진행하였다. 그 결과 발포공정만 수행된 기공의 크기보다 추가적인 LAMO 공정을 통해 형성된 기공의 크기가 훨씬 더 크게 관찰되었다. 본 실험의 결과를 통해 LAMO 공정에 의한 기공의 특성과의 상관관계를 파악할 수 있었으며, 기존의 UV laser를 이용하여 원하는 부위에 선택적으로 폐쇄형 기공을 형성하는 것 이상으로 기공의 크기를 제어하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • The high pressure compaction without internal lubricant and the high green density even with the pore free density were achieved by the newly developed die wall lubricant for warm compaction. This developed die wall lubricated warm compaction followed by high temperature sintering resulted in not only the superior mechanical property but also the low dimensional change. 고밀도 직물의 반복세탁 및 세탁조건에 따른 투습.발수성 변화 (Changes in Moisture Permeability and Waterproofness of High-density Fabric by Repeated Laundering and Condition)

  • This research evaluates the changes in the comfort-related properties of high-density fabric, such as moisture permeability and waterproofness, in order to assess the relative importance of laundry conditions for clothing properties after repeated laundering and suggest the best laundering conditions for high-density fabric through the identification of the most influential factor. A commercial high-density fabric was washed 25 times in a drum-type washer using nine different laundry conditions based on profiles derived from a fractional factorial design. To evaluate the changes in the comfort-related properties of the fabric, pore size, air permeability, water vapor transport, water repellency, and water resistance were measured. The comfort-related properties of the fabric deteriorated after repeated laundering by the damaged surface finish; in addition, the damaged surface also changed the pore size. As a result, the water repellency and water resistance decreased. The detergent was the most responsible factor to change the properties among the four factors of detergent, hardness, temperature, and RPM. The best laundering conditions for the fabric was a neutral detergent, soft water of 70ppm, a temperature of $15^{\circ}C$, and 30rpm.

세립분 함유량에 따른 새만금준설토의 액상화 특성에 관한 연구

  • A lot of dredging and reclaming projects are recently under way in Korea for the efficient use of limiting land space. Saemanguem area is special case of reclaiming by dredged soil. In case of a confined disposal of dredged soils by a pump dredger, generally coarse grained soils are separated from fines with dropping at the near part of the pump dredger. This kind of seperation of fine contents could be a factor of liquefaction by earthquake. In Korea, recently, earthquakes with magnitude of 3.0 or higher are distinctively increasing in 1990. In this study, cyclic shear characterics of Saemanguem Dredged sand depending on fine content were analyzed. A series of undrained cyclic triaxial test with cyclic stress ratio ($\sigma_d/{2\sigma_{{\upsilon}c}}'$) were performed on both isotropic consolidated specimen and sand with fine contents of 0%, 5%, 15%, 30%, 40% under the effective vertical stress of 100kPa and 50% and 60%, 70% of relative density for fine content of 0%, respectively. In the test results, cyclic shear strength increased by increasing of cyclic stress ratio($\sigma_d/{2\sigma_{{\upsilon}c}}'$) with increasing the relative density at the same number of cyclic under the effective confining pressure of 100kPa. It is almost highest the double amplitude(DA) 1%, 3%, 5%, 7.5% and 10% at fine content of 15% between Cyclic stress ratio($\sigma_d/{2\sigma_{{\upsilon}c}}'$) value at cyclic number five and fine content. Number of cyclic is 30 under the effective vertical stress of 100kPa, 70% of relative density for fine content of 15%. when the cyclic stress ratio at each relative density was compared at cyclic number five, the double amplitude(DA) 1%, 3%, 5%, 7.5% and 10%, and the pore-pressure ratio (${\Delta}u/{\sigma'}_c$) 0.95 value were compared; under the relative density of 70% and the effective confining pressure of 100kPa. The pore-pressure ratio (${\Delta}u/{\sigma'}_c$) 0.95 value showed a similar trend to the double amplitude (DA) 5% line.

원예용 배지의 물리·화학성 분석을 위한 유럽의 표준방법 (Introduction to European Standard Methods for Physical and Chemical Analysis of Horticultural Substrates)

  • 원예용 배지의 물리화학적 특성을 파악하기 위해 전세계적으로 다양한 분석 방법이 사용되고 있다. 유럽은 배지 분석방법의 표준화 연구를 지속적으로 수행해왔다. 유럽표준화 위원회에서는 유럽표준방법으로 CEN methods를 최종안까지 제출하였으며 사실상 유럽표준 배지분석방법의 제정을 확립하는 단계에 있다. 물리적 특성 중 건물함량과 수분함량은 건조 후 분석하였고, 실험 가밀도는 일정한 부피에 채워진 시료의 무게로 측정하였다. 가밀도, 진밀도, 공극률, 액상, 기상, 부피 감소율은 double ring과 sand suction table이라는 장치를 사용하여 배지를 포화, 배수시킨 후 건조시켜 분석하였다. 화학적 특성 중 pH와 EC는 부피 기준 1:5로 침출하여 분석하였다. 유기물과 회분함량은 건조와 연소 과정을 통해 분석하였다. CEN methods는 유럽표준방법으로 확립을 앞두고 있으나 더 지속적인 연구가 필요할 것이다.
