Seaweed-derived foods have long been popular in Korea because of their high content of nutrients that are beneficial to the human body. Recently, Korean seaweeds have been used as raw materials to produce new natural products with health benefits. Herein, we compared the antioxidant activity of 16 Korean seaweed extracts to explore their potential utility as health foods. The total phenolic content (TPC) and 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity of seaweed extracts were determined. We also investigated their ability to protect human diploid fibroblast (HDF) cells against hydrogen peroxide. The results showed that seaweed extracts at a concentration of 100 ㎍/mL did not cause any cell toxicity. Sargassum thunbergii (Jichung-i) had the highest TPC and radical scavenging effects, followed by Porphyra tenera (Gim), Silvetia siliquosa (Tteumbugi), and Sargassum fusiforme (Tot). Hydrogen peroxide increased the production of intracellular reactive oxygen species, while P. tenera (Gim), Saccharina japonica (Dasima), and S. thunbergii (Jichung-i) extracts significantly decreased it. The effect was highest in the S. thunbergii (Jichung-i)-treated HDF cells. These findings indicate that S. thunbergii (Jichung-i) shows promise as a potential antioxidant raw material.

오늘날 게임(비디오 게임, 전자오락)에 대한 평가는 애우 양가적인데, 한편에서는 폭력성 중독성으로 인해 유해 오락이라는 부정적 평가를 내리는 반면, 다른 한편에서는 그 유희적 대안적 속성에 주목하여 유망 창조산업으로 보는 긍정적 평가가 공존한다. 본 논문은 후자의 입장에 근거하여, 역사 문화적 평가의 지표라 할 수 있는 뮤지엄을 통해 게임의 긍정적 요소를 재평가 하려는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 뮤지엄의 게임문화 수용의 변화 양상을 다음의 세 가지로 유형화하고, 분석하였다. 첫째, 방법적인 차원에서 게임을 교육 홍보 마케팅에 활용한 경우, 둘째, 게임이 우리 문화 전반에 걸쳐 폭넓게 발휘한 영향력을 일종의 산업 문화재로 인정하는 경우, 셋째, 게임을 활용한 미술작품을 통해 간접적으로 게임 문화를 수용하는 경우이다. 이상의 파노라마식 연구는 뮤지엄과 게임문화 연구에 대한 논의의 장을 펼쳐 보일 것으로 기대하며, 현재 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 아카데미에서의 게임문화 수용 및 미래산업 방향진단에도 기초를 제공할 것이다.

Research on the birth (起源) and names (語源) of foods such as kimchi is important to understand traditional food culture. kimchi, an 'add flavored, fermented, pickled, vegetable food' was initially prepared with the simple purpose of increasing storage capabilities, but later, through a complex process of change, morphological diversification occurred. In addition to the basic name of 'kimchi', each variety has its unique name and history. This study was conducted through qualitative research using various research methods, such as oral records and interviews, as well as investigation of data from literature, including ancient literature, modern cookbooks, newspapers, magazines, papers, and videos. The study sought to investigate the context and the meaning of the name Chonggak kimchi. In addition, it is a compilation of how the name spread through the ages and evolved to its current name. The name Chonggak kimchi did not exist during the Joseon Dynasty and Japanese occupation and first appeared in the records in the late 1950s. Nevertheless, the original name of 'Altarimu kimchi' evolved and finally became a part of the standard Korean language (標準語) in 1988. In the process of the name spreading and becoming popular, the movie "Chonggak kimchi (1964)," starring Shin, S.I., and Eom, A.R. played a significant role. It was also confirmed that this was a meaningful and valuable case of contentization of traditional food culture, regardless of the intention behind the same.

방탄소년단(BTS)은 전 세계 주류 음악 시장에서 한국의 대중음악을 선도하는 그룹으로 자리매김하고 있으며, BTS가 선보이는 다채로운 패션 스타일은 해외 매체나 대중들의 쇼셜 네트워크에 집중 조명될 정도로 큰 관심을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 BTS의 패션 스타일의 분석을 토대로 그들의 패션 경향을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 및 범위는 BTS 및 BTS의 패션이 미치는 영향력에 관련된 이론적 연구와 함께 최근 5년간 방탄소년단의 이미지 자료를 토대로 한 내용 분석 연구를 병행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직선적인 실루엣이 강조된 슈트, 무채색의 활용, 간소화된 장식을 통하여 클래식하면서도 모던한 스타일을 추구하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 둥근 어깨선이 강조된 봄버 재킷, 톤 다운된 스키니 진, 후드 티셔츠, 레터링 패턴, 비비드한 색상을 매치하여 자유분방하고 편안한 감성의 캐주얼 스타일을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 슬리브리스의 베스킷볼 셔츠, 라운드 네크라인의 베이스볼 셔츠와 반바지, 트레이닝팬츠, 레터링 패턴이 강조된 오버핏 맨투맨을 활용하여 역동적이고 활동적인 스포티한 스타일을 추구하는 것으로 나타났다.

영웅은 TV드라마의 오랜 소재이다. TV드라마 속에서의 역사적 영웅은 대중의 욕망에 대한 대리자이자 그것의 집약체로서 기능하는데, 특정 시기 드라마가 형상화 해내는 영웅의 모습과 그것을 환영하는 시청자간의 소통은 당대 대중의식을 가름할 수 있는 장치가 되기도 한다. 본 연구는 오늘날 각종 문화 영역에서 환영받고 있는 일본의 역사적 영웅 '요시쓰네'를 주인공으로 한 드라마를 영웅의 서사연구, 스토리 분석에 있어서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있는 조셉 캠벨의 17가지 영웅 서사 단계를 토대로 분석하여 원형과 변용을 알아보았다. 드라마는 캠벨의 17단계 중 11가지 단계를 적용하고, 2가지단계의 생략과 4가지단계의 변형을 보여주며, 대중문화 콘텐츠로 재탄생하기 위해서는 일정한 선택과 변형이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

This study focuses on women and fashion in Korea between the 1960s and 1970s, when the government regulated the socio-cultural aspects of individuals while achieving remarkable economic industrialization, particularly through the representative popular weekly magazine 'Sunday-Seoul'. The scope of this study included 168 issues from September 22, 1968 to December 26, 1971. Two research methods were applied, literature research and content analysis research. First, the literature on Korean society, culture, women's fashion, the sociological, feminine and popular cultural studies were reviewed. Thereafter, the contents, cover, articles, pictorials were collected and analyzed for classification and identification of the women's images and women's fashion. In the case of fashion articles, the contents of vocabulary and description texts were highlighted, and in the case of pictorials, the visual elements such as images, silhouettes of clothes, details of features, and patterns of materials were assessed. The images of women in Sunday Seoul's articles and pictorials exhibited extreme opposite, presenting the most important purpose of marriage, 'wise mother and good wife' and 'image of sexual object' for men. The two images of women differed; however, there was one more female image 'industrial laborer' which was placed in the blind spot of interest. The characteristics of fashion which appeared in 'Sunday-Seoul' were 'uniform modern elegance' based on neat mini-style, and 'sexual image of exposure fashion' which endeavored to selectively borrow from overseas pictorials and trend-oriented articles. This could be viewed as a 'transformation of traditional Hanbok', 'avant-garde trend' and 'de-sexualization & indifference of fashion'.

Lots of audience turn their eyes upon musical to satisfy various cultural desire. It is popular culture that was watched in culture contents industry. The stage costume which turn audience's eyes in musical the most is the sight art of stage to express visually actor(actress)'s personality, mental state, administrative position, age and the distinction of sex. This study researches designed stage costume which was based on time backgrounds and historical facts of reinvented clothes and its ornaments in Egypt by 'Sonia Rykiel' through musical, 'ten commandments' with special times. We collected home and abroad documentary records, Internet data. Moreover we viewed performance to analyze stage costume and brochure photograph data to study. In consequence the stage costume of musical 'ten commandments' found its way out of traditional clothes and its ornaments largely. We can recognize the stage costume as the most important part in drama by explaining the content on drama as costume through reinvented shape with modern sense and by taking charge of the principal part to lead atmosphere. In addition, thanks to the creative work of designer for stage costume, we can realize important intermediation to make higher artistic value of musical.

This study intends to look through the development of female costume during the 100 years after the flowering time. By refocusing on the flow the Korean female costume, this study present representative costume style of that time and find out the fashion cycles. For this purpose, the clothes during the 100 years (from 1890 to 1993) were observed and changes of female costume, hair style and shoes were observed. Literature review and content analysis method used. The results of this study are as follows : For Korean costume, there were little changes in basic styles and only the jacket and skirt lengths were changed. After 1960s, as modernization of socio-cultural aspects were processed, Korean costume became formalized and structure of costume was duplicated. In the 1960's mint skirts and pantalons won popularity. In the 1970's , diverse modes including mini, midi, maxi, pantalon, hot pants appeared, and especially the jeans were popular. In the 1980's big & loose silhouette was in fashion in the beginning, and fit & flare silhouette later in the decade. In the 1990's styles emphasizing natural feminity came in fashion. In addition, by analyzing the development of female costume styles of Korea, Fashion cycles were found, expecially in the phenomenon of 70's styles repeating in the 90's.

In this paper, the pattern of extracting the same expression is proposed by using the Android intelligent device to identify the facial expression. The understanding and expression of expression are very important to human computer interaction, and the technology to identify human expressions is very popular. Instead of searching for the symbols that users often use, you can identify facial expressions with a camera, which is a useful technique that can be used now. This thesis puts forward the technology of the third data is available on the website of the set, use the content to improve the infrastructure of the facial expression recognition accuracy, to improve the synthesis of neural network algorithm, making the facial expression recognition model, the user's facial expressions and similar expressions, reached 66%. It doesn't need to search for symbols. If you use the camera to recognize the expression, it will appear symbols immediately. So, this service is the symbols used when people send messages to others, and it can feel a lot of convenience. In countless symbols, there is no need to find symbols, which is an increasing trend in deep learning. So, we need to use more suitable algorithm for expression recognition, and then improve accuracy.

Cruciferous vegetables are rich in biologically active compounds such as glucosinolates and have various health benefits. Among these vegetables, Kimchi cabbage (Brassica rapa L. ssp. Pekinensis) is one of the most popular leafy vegetables due to the presence of the highest amounts of numerous vital phytonutrients, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. This study aims to investigate the effects of six cultivars (Chundong 102, Asia No Rang Mini, Hwimori Gold, Asia Seoul, Wol Dong Chun Chae, and Asia Bbu Ri) on hairy root induction and glucosinolate biosynthesis in the hairy root cultures of Kimchi cabbage. Seven different glucosinolates, in this case sinigrin, gluconapin, glucoerucin, glucobrassicin, 4-methoxyglucobrassicin, gluconasturtiin, and neoglucobrassicin, were detected in the hairy root cultures of Kimchi cabbage. Among the different cultivars, Asia No Rang Mini was the most promising candidate for hairy root stimulation, as it achieved the highest values for the growth rate, root number, root length, transformation efficiency, and total glucosinolate content. Overall, the Asia No Rang Mini cultivar of Kimchi cabbage performed best as a promising cultivar hairy root culture for glucosinolate production.
