방향제어 조직밸브의 동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dynamic Characteristics of Directional Control Logic Valve)

  • A cartridge type hydraulic logic valve consists of simple two port valve whose poppet is closed or opened by means of pressure signal of a pilot line. Accordingly, the logic valve can be used not only for direction, flow and pressure control purpose but also for versatile function valve which enables all above mentioned functions. In addition, the valve has little internal leakage and pressure loss, superior response characteristics and easiness in making small block type valve. The above mentioned good performances being recognized recently, the logic valve has been used widely in the large scale hydraulic system such as a hydraulic press system, for the performance requirements of high speed operation and precise control characteristics. However, there are scarce reports until now, except for a few ones from Aachen Institute of Technology in West Germany, so it is necessary to be studied on development and investigation for practical application. This paper showed that the static and dynamic characteristics of a logic valve when the logic valve is used for directional control, to investigate the relations between the valve operating characteristics and the valve design conditions. From the above mentioned procedure, it was ascertained that the valve operation characteristics obtained by numerical analysis showed good agreements with experimental results. The representative results obtained are as follows; 1. During the valve is closing, the poppet velocity is almost constant in the logic valve. 2. The pilot pressure P sub(3) and the resistance R in the pilot line have much influences on the valve operation time. 3. Spring strength have not such a severe influence on the valve operating time. 4. The operation characteristics of the logic valve can be estimated with good accuracy comparatively by numerical analysis with the equations describing poppet motion.

저소비 전력형 ISO 솔레노이드 밸브 특성 해석 (Characteristic Analysis of Low Consumption Power ISO Solenoid Valve)

  • In this study, A special quality analysis and experiment for low power consumption type pneumatic ISO Solenoid valve was performed. And flow characteristics of the ISO Solenoid valve by stroke change was numerically investigated. As a result, it is shown that magnetic force(2.4N) is exerted enough to move poppet with 0.3mm stroke with 0.01 seconds of response time, and that there is no magnetic force emitted by yoke.

  • In this paper, we designed sandwich type pressure regulator for air pressure control system. As a result of research, we obtained several important conclusions. First, we decided theory of poppet valve and relief valve which are used in sandwich type pressure regulator, and then designed prototype of pressure regulator. Second, we organized circuit diagram of dual pressure regulator of air pressure control system.

  • 항공우주용으로 개발되거나 활용 가능한 상업용 체크밸브사례가 조사되었다. 개발사례로 발사체용, 높은 수명이 요구되는 NASA의 SSME (Space Shuttle Main Engine) 및 지상 지원 시스템 퍼지 라인용과 국내에서 개발된 체크밸브가 있다. 상용품은 미국 주요 밸브개발업체의 제품을 상온용과 극저온용으로 분류하여 조사하였다. 또한 운용 온도, 운용 압력 및 크래킹 압력과 같은 주요 성능과 관련된 씰의 재질, 스프링 강성과 같은 설계 인자의 관계도 설명되었다. 이러한 단품 성능 이외에 채터 및 오염과 같은 운용상의 문제점과 일반적인 해결방안도 언급되었다. 또한 기타주의사항으로 필터, 피팅과 청정도 요구조건에 대하여도 조사되었다

  • Flow characteristics of a compressible gas flow through a rotating disc-type rotary valve are investigated experimentally under various conditions. It is known that the mass flow rate through poppet valves of 4-stroke cycle engines and through piston valves of 2-stoke cycle engines decrease with increase in engine speed. Rotary valve is one means by which air may be made to flow inter-mittently through a pipe. In this paper an exhaust system simulator of engine was used to experi-mentally analyze the decrease in flow rate at high rotation speeds and to determine what variables other than rotational speed give rise to the observed behaviour. These variables have been included in an empirical equation which is representative of the measured flow characteristics.

다이어프램형 방식의 파일럿 액추에이터 개발 (Development of a diaphragm type actuator)

  • 액체로켓 엔진용 개폐밸브는 파일럿 공압으로 포핏을 열고 스프링 힘에 의해 닫음으로써 로켓엔진의 추진제 유량을 제어한다. 현재 개발 중인 엔진용 개폐밸브는 다이어프램 액추에이터에서 압력을 제거하면 닫히도록 설계되어 있다. 다이어프램을 설계하고 개발하기 위해 밸브가 열리고 닫히는 특성에 따라 수명을 분석할 필요가 있다. 밸브가 닫히기 시작하는 시점의 작동 유체의 압력을 결정하고, 포핏이 열리는 시점의 압력을 결정되어 힘평형이 설계되어 있다. 수명시험은 상온 유동에서 다이어프램부의 크랙에 의한 누설은 용접 부위에서 발생했다. 다이어프램 액추에이터의 작동 수명은 헬륨 파일럿 압력의 22 MPa 시험에서 61회이다.

  • This paper presents a new control mechanism for the proportional pressure control which is accomplished by electro-pneumatic regulator using two PZT actuators. The electro-pneumatic regulator of this study is 2-stage type and consists of two piezoelectric actuators, a controller and a main poppet valve. The piezoelectric actuators are multilayer bender type and are controlled by digital signal. Proportional pressure control technique is very important because that can derive improvement of product quality and driving ability in the pneumatic system. Solenoid actuator method for pressure control is widely used but this actuator has a high power consumption characteristics. So new actuator is required for the energy saving. In this study, PZT actuator for the pressure control was fabricated and experimented instead of the conventional type solenoid actuator. Experiments for the new control mechanism of the elector-pneumatic regulator were operated under the input condition of 0.4[MPa] and it was confirmed that this mechanism has a good control characteristics to the response sensitivity and hysteresis.

  • In this study, as a strategy to improve shift characteristics, the authors developed a new style pressure modulator which can reduce shock torque during power shift by modulating the pattern of pressure increase in the cylinder for actuating the clutch. The remarkable merits of this new pressure modulator lie in its structural simplicity and durability, because the modulator is only composed of a poppet type valve and a few orifices. The usefulness of the new pressure modulator is confirmed by experiments and numerical analyses on a clutch control hydraulic system simplified for easy test. Also, the excellency of the transmission with the new pressure modulator is verified by experiments on a test bench for simulating the running power train of an excavator.
