Polymer electrolytes consisted of $BF_3LiMA$ and 300 (PEGMA300) or 1100 (PEGMA1100) g $mol^{-1}$ of PEGMA were prepared and the electrochemical properties were characterized. Interestingly, the AC-impedance measurement shows $1.22{\times}10^{-5}S\;cm^{-1}$ of room temperature ionic conductivity from PEGMA1100 based solid polymer electrolytes while $8.54{\times}10^{-7}S\;cm^{-1}$ was observed in PEGMA300 based liquid polymer electrolytes. The more suitable coordination between lithium ion and ethylene oxide (EO) unit might be the reason of higher ionic conductivity which can be possible in PEGMA1100 based electrolytes since it has 23 EO units in monomer. The lithium ion transference number was found to be 0.6 due to the side reactions between $BF_3$ and lithium metal expecially for longer time but 0.9 was observed within 3000 seconds of measuring time which is strong evidence of a single-ion conductor.
Solid polymer electrolytes using $BF_3LiMA$ as monomer were synthesized by usual one step radical polymerization in THF solvent. The effect of $BF_3LiMA$ concentration on ionic conductivity and electrochemical stability was investigated by AC impedance measurement and linear sweep voltammetry. As a result, the highest ionic conductivity reached $7.71{\times}10^{-6}S\;cm^{-1}$ at $25^{\circ}C$ was obtained in 12.9 wt% of $BF_3LiMA$ content. Further increase or decrease of $BF_3LiMA$ content result to decrease the ionic conductivity due to the brittle matrix properties in former case and the insufficient number of charge carrier in the latter case. Furthermore, since the counter-anion was immobilized in the self-doped solid polymer electrolytes, high electrochemical stability up to 6.0 V was observed even in $60^{\circ}C$.
Alkaline electrolytes consisting of 6 M KOH and polymer (PEO, PVA, and PAAK) are coated on PAN nonwoven fabrics as a separator, and the electrochemical properties of the activated carbon supercapacitor adopting them are investigated in terms of redox behavior, specific capacitance, and interfacial impedance. Although the interaction between polymer and KOH are comparatively inactive in PEO and PVA, PAAK (3 wt.%)-KOH forms a hydrogel phase by active interactions between $COO^-K^+$ in side-chain of PAAK and $K^+OH^-$ from alkaline electrolyte solution, improving ionic conduction of electrolytes and the electrochemical properties of the supercapacitor. As a result, the activated supercapacitor adopting the PAAK-KOH shows the superior specific capacitance of $46.8Fg^{-1}$ at $100mVs^{-1}$.
Poly(ethyleneglycol diacrylate)(PEGDA) or 2-ethylhexyl acrylate(2EHA)-based gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs) which have a solid content in the range of 8~54 wt% were synthesized and their ionic conductivity and electrochemical properties were measured at room temperature. It was observed that the ionic conductivity over $1\times10^{-3}$ S/cm was obtained in a homogeneous PEGDA-based GPE with 21 wt% of solid content. However the electrochemical stability of the GPE was lower than that of a liquid electrolyte. The presence of AIBN initiator which can produce a N2 gas during polymerization process might be the reason of this low oxidation decomposition potential. As an alternative, benzoyl peroxide was used as an initiator and GPE with enhanced electrochemical stability was obtained. Finally, the formation of stable solid electrolyte interphase on a graphite anode was evidenced by cyclic voltammetry measurement.

Ionic liquids (ILs) are collecting keen interests as an advanced substituent of electrolyte solution as well as novel solvents. In the present talk, I will introduce some strategies to fix IL structure on polymer chains to prepare polar polymers with low glass transition temperature. Namely, cationic, anionic, and zwitterionic monomers have been prepared, and they have been homopolymerized or copolymerized to prepare polymer electrolytes with different properties. The polymers themselves showed very poor ionic conductivity, but it was improved by suitable spacer between charged site and main chain. Other unique characteristics of functional ILs and new polymerized ionic liquids will also be mentioned.

Conducting polymer is new material in lithium secondary battery. conducting polymer has a lot of merit which is flexible and good handing so that this material is used battery system, solid polymer electrolytes airs used PEO(Polyethylene oxide) and PEO/PMMA branding material adding by liquid plasticizer or lithium salt polymer electrolyte which is added liquid plasticizer, lithium salt decreased the crystallity and thermal stability is over than 13$0^{\circ}C$. it is very useful tn apply lithium secondary battery system.
Silver species other than the silver ion were formed by UV irradiation on polymer electrolyte membranes containing silver salts and their effect on complexation behavior between the silver and olefin was investigated through the separation performance of olefin/paraffin mixtures. The ideal propylene/propane separation factor reached 350 and the separation coefficient was ca.15 due to the high loading amount of silver ions into poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline) (POZ) without UV irradiation. On UV irradiation either in air or under nitrogen, the silver-POZ membranes became yellow-brown initially due to the formation of colloidal silver particles, and finally black and metal-like luster. Even when Ag$^{+}$ was converted, to some extent, to Ag$^{\circ}$ by UV irradiation in air at the early stage, the separation coefficient of olefin/paraffin mixtures was maintained. This suggests that silver species other than the silver ion is active for olefin carrier for facilitated transport. Meanwhile the steady decrease of the separation coefficient was observed in the silver/POZ membranes irradiated under $N_2$. It is suggested that the reduction of silver ions in POZ goes through a different photoreduction mechanism with UV irradiation depending on the environment.t.

The purpose of this study is to research and develop solid polymer electrolyte(SPE) for Li polymer battery. This paper describes temperature dependence of conductivity, impedance spectroscopy, electrochemical properties of PAN/PVDF electrolytes as a function of a mixed ratio. PAN/PVDF based polymer electrolyte films were prepared by thermal gellification method of preweighed PAN/PVDF, plasticizer and Li salt. By adding PVDF and as a function of plasticizer mixed ratio to PAN-LiClO4 electrolyte, its conductivity was higher than that of PAN-$LiClO4_4$ electrolyte. The conductivity of PAN/PVDF electrolytes was $10^{-3}S/cm$. $10PAN10PVDFLiClO_4PC_5EC_5$ electrolyte shows the better conductivity of the others. Steady state current method and ac impedance used for the determination of transference numbers in PAN/PVDF electrolyte film. The transference number of $10PAN10PVDFLiClO_4PC_5EC_5$ electrolyte is 0.45.
There is ongoing research to develop lithium ion batteries as sustainable energy sources. Because of safety problems, solid state batteries, where electrolytes are replaced with solids, are attracting attention. Sulfide electrolytes, with a high ion conductivity of 10-3 S/cm or more, have the highest potential performance, but the price of the main materials is high. This study investigated lithium hydride materials, which offer economic advantages and low density. To analyze the change in ion conductivity in polymer electrolyte composites, PVDF, a representative polymer substance was used at a certain mass ratio. XRD, SEM, and BET were performed for metallurgical analyses of the materials, and ion conductivity was calculated through the EIS method. In addition, thermal conductivity was measured to analyze thermal stability, which is a major parameter of lithium ion batteries. As a result, the ion conductivity of LiH was found to be 10-6 S/cm, and the ion conductivity further decreased as the PVDF ratio increased when the composite was formed.
