  • In this Study, The Electrostatic Coutour Distribution in Polymer Electret Acoustic Sensor is calcuated using Finite Element Method. As a result the Electrostatic Countour Distribution is visualized and the design modification could be processed.

  • In this paper, We examine that characteristics of formative electret with polymer film and electric charge storage using grid corona discharge. compound polymer of fluorine resin used for material in electret because of high electric charge accumulation, excellent electrical and physical characteristic. All experiments were carried out with circular samples of $Teflon^(R)FEP$ film, 12.5[${\mu}m$] thick. As experiment variables, we used voltage, electrode thickness, discharge electrode gap, and discharge time. According to this variables, we studied on characteristics of formative electret and electric charge storage. Additionally we make a comparative study of the result between the grid corona discharge and needle electrode discharge.

  • 플라즈마 중합 증착기술을 이용하여 ppMMA (plasma polymerized methyl methacrylate) 및 ppS (plasma polymerized styrene) 박막을 제작하고, ppMMA를 게이트 절연층, polymer electret인 ppS를 메모리층으로 한 전계효과트랜지스터 기반 유기 메모리 소자를 제작하였다. 메모리층인 ppS의 두께를 각각 30, 60, 90 nm로 달리한 유기 메모리 소자가 C-V 및 I-V 특성에서 나타내는 히스테리시스 현상을 분석하여 메모리 특성을 평가했으며, 메모리층의 두께 변화에 따른 유기 메모리 소자의 성능을 비교분석하였다.

  • Currently small and accurate dosimeters are on the rise. In this study, the feasibility and energy dependency of the electret dosimeter that made of PET (polyethylene terephtalate) were observed by irradiating 4, 6, 15 MV photon beams from the clinical linear accelerator to develop a dosimeter for the clinical field. $10{\times}10cm$ field size of the photon beams were irradiated to the electret dosimeter where the 2.5 cm depth in the polystylene phantom from 100 cm SSD, while 300 DCV was applied to the electret dosimeter. The result showed that the absorbed dose was proportional to the charge linearly, and the volume of a dosimeter could be reduced and the signals were high enough. According to this study, it was found that the polymer electret detector could be produced as a large quantity with a small cost and showed the feasibility of a realtime measurement.

  • Recently, electret applications have placed the focus on polymer thin film because electrical properties of a blend are studied. In this paper, we hale measured the infra sonic frequency by using Electret Sensor. Electret is formed by appling the voltage range of -4[kV] to -8[kV] to PTFE film and the sensor is manufactured by moment method to detect the infra-sonic signal. Electret Infrasonic Transducer, which is designed and manufactured by using of the moment method according to the potential and electric field simulation , shows its promising result, since the average rising rate of sensitivity is 7.68 [dB/oct] under 1[Hz], and the average values are within ${\pm}$ 1 [dB/oct]. As a result, it is believed that the characteristics of acquired transducer can be applied to the medical treatment, the industry, and the animal life researches, and also the study on noise elimination is required.

  • In order to estimate space charging process in the corona charging apparatus which has been used to make polymer electret cell, the electrical properties of 30[${\mu}m$] thick polypropylene film were obtained from TSC measurement after corona charging between copper knife electrode and aluminum cylinder electrode with the voltage of -8, -7, -6, -5 (kV). And, the electrostatic contour and the electric field vector were calculated using Finite Element Method with the electrical properties obtained from TSC spectra analysis. The edge effect around the edge of knife electrode affects electrostatic contour on the surface of specimen and the electric field concentration inside the polymer. As a result the uneven charging state in the electret cell due to the mistake of design was calculated, and the optimal design of corona charging apparatus opprobriate to various specimen was come to be practicable.

And then the electrostatic contour and the electric field vector were also simulated by using Finite Element Method(FEM). The edge effect around edge of knife electrode affected the electrostatic contour on surface of specimen and the electric field concentration inside specimen. The uneven charging state in the electret due to the mistake on design could be calculated and so the optimal design of corona charging device which is appropriate to various materials is come to be practicable.
