전처리 방법을 달리한 곰취 인절미의 제조법 표준화 연구 (A Study on Different Pre-processing of Ligularia fischeri Injeolmi to Standardize Its Processing)

  • In this study Ragwort, which had various and excellent pharmacological activity, was selected as a functional material, and intended to present an optimum condition of Ragwort Injeolmi by the blanching method, commonly used in the field. The general components, antioxidation, and dietary fiber of Ragwort were analyzed, and produceableness of Ragwort added Injeolmi was reviewed through instrumental inspection and sensory evaluation of various adding ratio of lyophilized Ragwort power and Ragwort pre-processed by blanching. It was proved that the SOD-likely active of Ragwort was 45.69%, total poly- phenol content was 12.45 mg, and total flavonoid content was 10.25 mg. The pH of Injeolmi adding Ragwort powder showed an increasing trend in the order of 0%, 1%, 3%, 5%, while that of Injeolmi adding blanching Ragwort showed increasing trend in the order of 0%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and there were significant difference (p<0.001). The soluble solid content of all sample groups showed constant value, and it was understood that no sugar was added in the process. From chromatography measurement result, a-value (redness) of 1% sample group was the lowest, and there were significant differences among sample groups (p<0.001). During 3 days of storage period, total microbial count of Injeolmi showed increasing trend while the storage period was getting longer. From the acceptability test Injeolmi adding blanching Ragwort had shown generally higher value.

Effects of multi-stacked hybrid encapsulation layers on the electrical characteristics of flexible organic field effect transistors

  • One of the critical issues for applications of flexible organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) for flexible electronic systems is the electrical stabilities of the OTFT devices, including variation of the current on/off ratio ($I_{on}/I_{off}$), leakage current, threshold voltage, and hysteresis, under repetitive mechanical deformation. In particular, repetitive mechanical deformation accelerates the degradation of device performance at the ambient environment. In this work, electrical stabilities of the pentacene organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) employing multi-stack hybrid encapsulation layers were investigated under mechanical cyclic bending. Flexible bottom-gated pentacene-based OTFTs fabricated on flexible polyimide substrate with poly-4-vinyl phenol (PVP) dielectric as a gate dielectric were encapsulated by the plasma-deposited organic layer and atomic layer deposited inorganic layer. For cyclic bending experiment of flexible OTFTs, the devices were cyclically bent up to $10^5$ times with 5mm bending radius. In the most of the devices after $10^5$ times of bending cycles, the off-current of the OTFT with no encapsulation layers was quickly increased due to increases in the conductivity of the pentacene caused by doping effects from $O_2$ and $H_2O$ in the atmosphere, which leads to decrease in the $I_{on}/I_{off}$ and increase in the hysteresis. With encapsulation layers, however, the electrical stabilities of the OTFTs were improved significantly. In particular, the OTFTs with multi-stack hybrid encapsulation layer showed the best electrical stabilities up to the bending cycles of $10^5$ times compared to the devices with single organic encapsulation layer. Changes in electrical properties of cyclically bent OTFTs with encapsulation layers will be discussed in detail.

  • We examined the effects of ${\beta}$-glucan-reinforced PLGA film and scaffold on HDFs (human dermal fibroblast) attachment and proliferation. The PLGA films were prepared by simple solvent-casting method. The prepared films were grafted with $(1{\to}3)(1{\to}6)-{\beta}-glucan$ in various ratios after plasma treatment on surface. The surface of the film was characterized by contact angle measurement, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and Fourier-transform infrared spectrophotometer (FT-IR). The amount of $(1{\to}3)(1{\to}6)-{\beta}-glucan$ in the prepared film was indirectly determined by phenol-sulfuric acid method. The HDFs (Human dermal fibroblasts) were used to evaluate the cell attachment and proliferation on PLGA specimens before and after plasma/${\beta}-glucan$ treatment. The result showed that the plasma treated groups exhibited more mont of ${\beta}-glucan$ might be grafted than the non plasma treated groups. Cell attachment was significantly enhanced in the plasma/${\beta}-glucan$ grafted group after 4 hours incubation (p<0.05) due to the improved hydrophilicity and cytoactivity effect of the ${\beta}-glucan$. The cell proliferation of plasma/${\beta}-glucan$ (2mg/ml) grafted group was the highest rate among the groups (p<0.05).

만두멍게와 분홍멍게 에탄올 추출물의 항산화 효과 (Antioxidant Effects of Ethanol Extracts of Aplidium pliciferum and Herdmania momus)

  • 본 연구는 해양자원인 만두멍게와 분홍멍게의 항산화 효과를 검증하여 기능성 화장품 소재 가능성을 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 만두멍게와 분홍멍게 에탄올 추출물의 항산화 효능을 확인하기 위하여 DPPH 소거능 및 ABTS 소거능, 폴리페놀 항산화 물질 함량, NO 생성 억제능 분석을 통하여 항산화 활성을 측정하기 위해서 항산화 실험을 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 만두멍게와 분홍멍게의 추출물은 각종 radical(DPPH, ABTS, NO) 소거 효과 결과, 20 mg/ml 농도에서 DPPH는 만두멍게가 30.87±1.98%, 분홍멍게가 88.27±0.84%, ABTS는 만두멍게가 56.23±2.50%, 분홍멍게가 94.80±0.91%, NO는 만두멍게가 88.57±0.81%, 분홍멍게가 97.53±0.34%로 모두 유의한 차이가 있었다. 특히 총 폴리페놀 함량을 통해 분홍멍게의 항산화 물질 추출에 사용된 용매의 효율은 중요한 인자로 작용함을 확인하였다. 따라서 항산화 효과가 뛰어난 분홍멍게를 주물질로 첨가하여 만두멍게와 분홍멍게를 조합한 기능성 화장품 개발 가능성을 제시할 수 있다.

오가피(五加皮) 수피(樹皮)와 근피(根皮)의 MIA 유도 골관절염 흰쥐에 미치는 영향 비교 (A study on the effect comparative of acanthopanax stem bark (ASB) and acanthopanax root bark (ARB) on the monosodium iodoacetate (MIA)-induced osteoarthritis rats)

  • Objectives : This study was designed to compare the effects of acanthopanax stem bark (ASB) and acanthopanax root bark (ARB) on the monosodium iodoacetate (MIA)-induced osteoarthritis rats. Methods : The antioxidant activities were evaluated through radical scavenging assays using 2,2'-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) (ABTS) radicals and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radicals. Also, we examined total poly phenol and flavonoids contents. Osteoarthritis was caused by injection MIA($50{\mu}{\ell}$ with $80mg/m{\ell}$) into the knee joint cavity of rats. Rats were divided by 4 groups (normal group, control group, ASB treated group, ARB treated group, each n=6). The changes in the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in serum were analyzed after experiment. Also, the anti-oxidant, inflammatory protein levels were investigated western blot analysis. Knee joint tissue, histopathological observation hematoxylin & eosin staining and safranin-O staining were measured. Results : In the present study, ARB treated group showed superior inhibitory effects on the inflammatory parameters than the ASB treated group. ARB aqueous extract was effective in antioxidant measurements. The administration of ARB showed a significant reduction of changes in relative hind paw weight distribution. Morever, it decreased ROS, ALT and AST levels in serum, compared with those of the control rats. The ARB administration inhibited the biomarkers of inflammatory in tissues. Conclusions : ASB aqueous extract and ARB aqueous extract have a great effect on osteoarthritis, and ARB aqueous extract has excellent effect on osteoarthritis through antioxidant and anti-inflammation.

증숙가공공정을 통한 더덕의 항산화 활성 증진 (Enhancement of Antioxidative Activity of Codonopsis lanceolata by Stepwise Steaming Process)

  • In general, stepwise hot steaming process is known to be effective in improving its biological activities; however, not much employed in processing Codonopsis lanceolata due to its hardness. In this study, C. lanceolata was first pretreated with warm water at $50^{\circ}C$ and $60^{\circ}C$ for two hours, then steamed for 3 hours. Antioxidant activities of 70% ethanol extracts were compared with the extract from the water solvent: 41.58% vs 8.98% of DPPH radical scavenging activity in adding $1.25mg/m{\ell}$ of steamed extract and water extract, respectively. Reducing power of steamed and fresh C. lanceolata were also measured as 1.39 and 0.71. Total poly phenolic of the steamed extract was estimated as 12.11mg/g, compared to 3.98mg/g fresh C. lanceolata. Total flavonoid contents were also obtained as 11.48mg/g, compared to 7.11mg/g of fresh C. lanceolata. In comparing phenolic acids profiles in the extract, in general higher amounts of gallic acid, trans-ferulic acid, vanillic acid were obtained possibly by easy release of active components during thermal processing, which results in better antioxidant activities than that of water extract. This findings can also be supported by result that the ethanol extract showed better activities than the water extract.

우렁쉥이 추출물의 항산화 및 리파아제 저해활성 효과 (Antioxidant and Anti-lipase Activity in Halocynthia roretzi Extracts)

  • 본 연구에서는 동해안에 서식하는 우렁쉥이의 식품산업의 소재와 기능성을 알아보기 위하여 우렁쉥이 추출물을 이용하여 이들로부터 활성산소종의 소거활성, 즉 항산화제와 비만 예방의 효능제로서 생리활성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 우렁쉥이의 에탄올, 메탄올, 물 추출물을 이용하여 폴리페놀 및 플라보노이드 함량을 측정한 결과 에탄올 추출물과 메탄올 추출물이 물 추출물보다 약 1.5배 높게 나타났고 플라보노이드 함량 또한 약 8배 이상 높게 나타났다. 항산화 효능을 측정한 결과 DPPH 라디칼 소거능에서는 메탄올 추출물이 1176.99 ${\mu}g/mL$로 가장 높았으며 물 추출물에 비해 약 2배정도 높은 효능을 보였다. ABTS 라디칼 소거능 활성을 측정한 결과 875.07 ${\mu}g/mL$로 메탄올 추출물이 가장 높은 효능을 보였고 DPPH 라디칼 소거능 활성과 유사한 경향을 보였다. 환원력 측정은 메탄올 추출물 31.7%, 에탄올 추출물 32.2% 그리고 물 추출물 26.4%의 순으로 나타났으며 금속 봉쇄력의 경우는 물 추출물이 가장 높은 활성을 보였다. 폴리페놀 함량이 높은 물질이 항산화 효능과의 상관관계가 있음을 알 수 있었고 지방 분해 측정 결과 에탄올 추출물이 6004.76 ${\mu}g/mL$, 메탄올 추출물이 12021.56 ${\mu}g/mL$로 측정되었으며 에탄올 추출물에는 지방 분해 억제 효과가 있는 것으로 생각된다. 결과적으로 우렁쉥이는 항산화 효과와 비만예방 개선과 다양한 식품 소재로의 활용 가능성이 있을 것으로 사료되며, 이러한 결과가 실제로 체내에서 적용되는지는 in vivo 연구를 통하여 살펴볼 필요가 있는 것으로 사료된다.

Benzo(a)pyrene 대사물질들의 DNA에 대한 Adduct 형성 억제에 미치는 Parlalrydol의 효과 (Inhibition of the Formation of Adducts Between Metabolites of Benzo(a)pyrene and DNA by Panaxydol in vivo and in vitro)

  • PAH 계 화합물들의 Bay region diol epoxide 들의 target tissue에 대한 결합은 암유발과 관련 되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 ICR mice의 간에서의 BP-DNA-adduct 생성에 미치는 poly acetylene 화합물인 panaxynol 과 panaxydol 의 효과를 조사하였 다. Panaxynol 과 panaxydol 을 전처리한 ICR mice 의 간 마이크로좀을 포함하는 incubation system 은 calf thymus DNA 에 대한 BP binding을 뚜렷이 감소시켰다. [$^3H$]-BP($300\mu$Ci/21nmoles/0.1ml DMSO. i. v. ) 즐 mice 에 주사 후 24시간 후에 간 DNA 에서의 방사능을 측정하였다. HPLC 에 의해 cochromatography 한 두개의 standard marker (acetophenone. bytyrophenone)을 사이에 나타나는 DNA adduct 들을 잠정적으로 확인한 결과 (-) BP-7.8-diol로부터 생성되는 major adduct 인 (+) BP-diol epoxide I: dGuo adduct (peak II)는 대조군보다 약 22% 감소된 반면에 minor adduct 인 (-) BP-diol epoxide I: dGuo adduct (peak III)는 대조군의 69%로 감소되었다. 그리고 (+) BP-7, 8-diol로부 터 생성되는 minor adduct 인 BP-diol epoxide I II : Guo adduct (peak IV)는 대조군의 58%로 감소되었다. 이러한 결과는 panaxydol이 ($\pm$) B BP-7,8-diol로부터 일반적으로 생성되는 adduct들 중 major보다는 minor adduct들의 생성에 더 많이 관석했음을 보여준다.

핑거공차가 핑거접합재의 압축강도 성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Distance between Finger Tip and Root Width on Compressive Strength Performance of Finger-Jointed Timber)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내산 이태리 포플러, 소나무 및 굴참나무를 공시재료로 초산비닐(PVAc), 레조시놀-페놀 공축합 수지(RPR)접착제를 사용하여 핑거공차별(0, 0.15, 0.30, 0.45 mm)로 핑거 접합재를 제작하였고, 종압축 강도성능 시험을 실시하여 다음의 결과를 얻었다.종압축 영률 유효율은 3수종 모두 소재에 비해 현저히 감소하였고, 종압축 강도 유효율은 3수종 모두 평균 90%이상의 높은 유효율을 나타내었다. 특히 소나무재의 경우 모든 조건에서 97% 이상의 높은 유효율을 나타내었다. 최대 변위 유효율은 이태리 포플러재의 경우 소재의 2배, 소나무재와 굴참나무재의 경우 각각 소재의 1.2와 1.3배 정도로 높게 나타났다. 핑거공차에 따른 영향에서는 이태리 포플러재의 경우 핑거공차 0에서 가장 높은 압축강도 유효율을 나타내었고, 소나무재와 굴참나무재의 경우 핑거공차 0.15와 0.30에서 가장 높은 강도 유효율을 나타내는 것이 확인되었다.
