Demagnetization Detection for IPM-type BLDCMs According to Irreversible Demagnetization Patterns and Pole-Slot Coefficients

  • This paper proposes a method for detecting irreversible demagnetization using the harmonic analysis of back electromotive force (BEMF) in interior permanent magnet-type brushless DC motors. First, demagnetization patterns, such as equality, inequality, and weighted demagnetizations, are defined and classified by considering the possibility of demagnetization resulting from motor operating characteristics. Second, an available diagnostic model for the harmonic analysis of BEMFs is defined according to pole-slot coefficients because the characteristics of BEMFs under demagnetization conditions are affected by the combination of poles and slots. Third, BEMFs and their harmonic components under normal and demagnetization conditions are analyzed through simulation and experiment to verify the proposed demagnetization detection technique.

이중 및 삼중모드 공동 공진기로 구성된 2단 5-Pole 대역통과 필터 (2-state 5-pole bandpass filter consisted of dual and tripe-mode cavity resonator)

  • Generally, it is very important to study selective coupling between cavities of the filter structure using multimode cavity resonator. In this paper, we have manufactured 5-pole bandpass filter(BPF) using dual and triple-mode cavity resonator. To do so, we have derived the formulas for coupling coefficient about coupling between TE-modes from TM/TE-mode's tangential and lognitudinal field intensities each other. To implement the Chebyshev response, the intercabity slot combining dual-mode and triple-mode is designed to couple one H-field of TE-mode parallel to slot plate. In this paper, specially it is derived the formulas for T $E_{11p}$-mode from TE-modes, and determined after obtaining location and size of intercabity slot from the equation. In this ppaer, based on this result, we designed and implmented teh bandpass filter operated at the center frequency of 14.5GHz with a Chebyshev response. For the manufactured cavity filter, dual-mode and triple-mode cavity are resonted by two orthogonal T $E_{113}$-modes, and by two orthogonal T $E_{113}$-modes and one T $M_{012}$-mode, respecitively. The 2-stage 5-pole BPF proposed in this paper has the insertion loss of -2.32dB, the reflection loss of -15dB in the passband, and the out-or-rejection of -67dB.

  • The conceptual design of turbine-driven air-cooled 100 MW generator is presented. The generators rating is 100 MW 3-phase 2pole 13.8 kV 0.85 pf 60 Hz. The conceptual design is described by the process of designing the stator, rotor, and obtaining some of equivalent circuit parameters. The design process starts from the output coefficient G, and utilizes the classical design equations with parameters used in the modern designs. The slot dimensions of the stator and rotor are obtained with their respective winding dimensions.

페라이드 자석 직류전동기의 치수 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Dimension Design of Ferrite Magnet DC Motor)

  • 본 논문은 페라이트 자석 직류전동기의 치수제원 및 특성계산에 필요한 설계식을 도출하고 이로부터 파라메타 서베이법을 적용한 반복계산에 의해 치수설계를 행하는 방법을 제시하였다. 그 계산결과와 공시 전동기와의 치수제원을 비교, 검토하여 다음과 같은 사실과 설계방법의 타당성을 밝혔다. (1)파라메터로 설정한 치수비 $\mathfrak$ 및 극호비 ${\alpha}_2$는 치수제원 및 전동기 성능에 밀접한 관계사 있으며, 이 값들이 합리적인 치수결정에 있어 중요한 요소가 된다. (2)페라이트 자석의 동작점 퍼미언스계수를 자속밀도비 ${\gamma}$만의 함수로 표시함으로써 자석부피의 최소화를 가능하게 하였다. (3)슬롯 내에 잇는 도체의 동손면적밀도를 고려하여 제시한 토오크 식은 페라이트 자석 직류정동기의 치수결정에 유용함을 보였다.
