점대점 통신 기반의 위치인식 기법 (Location Recognition Method based on PTP Communication)

  • 국내외적으로 위치정보를 이용한 다양한 위치인식 기반의 지능시스템에 대해 활발한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 대표적인 점대다점 통신 기반의 위치인식 기법은 TOA(Time Of Arrival)를 이용하여 위치를 인식하고자 하는 노드까지의 거리를 계산하고, 3개 노드들의 위치정보를 삼각측량법에 적용하여 고정노드의 위치를 인식하는 기법이다. 따라서 점대다점 통신 위치인식 기법은 사전에 시스템이 특정 공간에 설치되어 있어야 하는 점과 시스템 구축비용이 필요하다는 단점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 점대다점 통신 위치인식 기법의 단점을 보완하기 위한 레인징 기반의 점대점 통신 위치인식 기법을 제시하고, 점대다점 기반의 통신 위치인식 기법에 대비한 성능을 평가하고자 한다. 이를 위해 실내 환경에서 레인징 기반의 점대다점과 점대점 통신 위치인식시스템을 각각 구축하여 실험하였다. 실험 결과 제안된 점대점 위치인식을 적용한 기법이 기존의 점대다점 위치인식을 적용한 기법에 비해 위치인식 정밀도가 3배 이상 향상됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • This paper describes the development of on the machine measuring(OMM) system which can directlry measure the three dimensional machined dimensilnal accuracy using scanning probe in milling machine. Two algolithms, continuous path(CP) measurement using UC program and CAD data assisted point to point(PTP) measurement, were developed regarding specification of scanning probe. The OMM system was contructed to verify the developed system suing the proposed algorithm, and actually measured three kinds of machined TV shadow mask molds. The developed system was evaluated it's repeatability and compared with the current measurement system of CMM(Coording Measuring Machine) in terms of relative accuracy and time reduction and productivity increase.

OMM 시스템에서의 측정오차 해석 (The Analysis of Measuring Error in OMM System)

  • This paper describes an analysis of measuring error of on the machine measuring(OMM) system which directly measures machined surface dimensions using scanning probe on a CNC milling machine. 21 inch TV shadow mask mould clamped to a pallet was measured using PTP(point to point) measuring algorithm in OMM system and the results were compared with those using coordinate measuring machine(CMM). The OMM error was evaluated by probe error, stylus contact error, center shift error, repeatability, work-piece clamping error and etc. The results show that elastic deformation of the pallet is most affecting factor on the measuring error, thus pallet design and clamping method need very careful cosiderations.

Performance Evaluation of Location Estimation System Using a Non Fixed Single Receiver

  • General location aware systems are only applied to indoor and outdoor environments using more than three transmitters to estimate a fixed object location. Those kinds of systems have environmental restrictions that require an already established infrastructure. To solve this problem, an Object Location Estimation (OLE) algorithm based on PTP (Point To Point) communication has been proposed. However, the problem with this method is that deduction of performance parameters is not enough and location estimation is very difficult because of unknown restriction conditions. From experimental tests in this research, we determined that the performance parameters for restriction conditions are a maximum transmission distance of CSS communication and an optimum moving distance interval between personal locations. In this paper, a system applied OLE algorithm based on PTP communication is implemented using a CSS (Chirp Spread Spectrum) communication module. A maximum transmission distance for CSS communication and an optimum moving distance interval between personal locations are then deducted and studied to estimate a fixed object location for generalization.

  • For fast and accurate motion of 6-axis articulated robot, more noble motion control strategy is needed. In general, the movement strategy of industrial robots can be divided into two kinds, PTP (Point to Point) and CP (Continuous Path). Recently, industrial robots which should be co-worked with machine tools are increasingly needed for performing various jobs, as well as simple handling or welding. Therefore, in order to cope with high-speed handling of the cooperation of industrial robots with machine tools or other devices, CP should be implemented so as to reduce vibration and noise, as well as decreasing operation time. This paper will realize CP motion (especially joint-linear) blending in 3-dimensional space for a 6-axis articulated (lab-manufactured) robot (called as "RS2") by using LabVIEW$^{(R)}$ (6) programming, based on a parametric interpolation. Another small contribution of this paper is the proposal of motion blending simulation technique based on Recurdyn$^{(R)}$ V7 and Solidworks$^{(R)}$, in order to figure out whether the joint-linear blending motion can generate the stable motion of robot in the sense of velocity magnitude at the end-effector of robot or not. In order to evaluate the performance of joint-linear motion blending, simple PTP (i.e., linear-linear) is also physically implemented on RS2. The implementation results of joint-linear motion blending and PTP are compared in terms of vibration magnitude and travel time by using the vibration testing equipment of Medallion of Zonic$^{(R)}$. It can be confirmed verified that the vibration peak of joint-linear motion blending has been reduced to 1/10, compared to that of PTP.

  • 종래의 WPC方式에 依한 市外 DDD System 代身에 Microprocessor를 利用한 SPC 方式의 System에 關한 構成과 實驗硏究의 結果를 報告하였다. 本 硏究는 現用 PTP 方式(Selector 구동方式)의 新型 DDD 整合中機裝置를 그대로 出中機線 Repeator로 使用되도록 設計하였으므로 이 System을 中小都市型 市外交換機에 적용시킬 경우 Stage別 Selector가 不必要하며 裝置의 小型化 및 信賴度의 向上이 기대될 뿐 아니라 Route의 變更도 Program의 變更만으로 간편하게 實現시킬 수 있다.

여유자유도 유연 매니퓰레이터의 위치제어 (Position Control of a Redundant Flexible Manipulator)

  • In this paper, we discuss the vibration suppression control of spatial redundant flexible manipulators through pseudo-inversed of Jacobian. In order to verify our method, the experiments are performed for PTP(Point To Point) motion of spa-tial flexible manipulators(1) with no redundancy(2) with one redundant DOF(degree of freedom). Finally, a comparison between these results is presented to show the performance of out approach.

기상측정(機上測定) 시스템 개발 (Development of On-the-Machine Measurement(OMM) System)

  • This paper describes the development of on-the-machine measuring(OMM) system which can directly measure the two and three dimensional machined accuracy using a scanning probe in milling machine. Two algorithms, NC program based continuous path(CP) measurement and CAD data assisted point to point(PTP) measurement, are developed for three dimensional measurements, with consideration of the characteristics of the scanning probe. The algorithms are used to develop an auto measuring system. The delveloped system is compared with the CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) in terms of accuracy and repeatability. The OMM system is expected to realize measurement time reduction and hence result in high productivity.

  • 본 연구에서는 자기부상 방식의 스테이지 시스템 설계 및 제작을 행하고 시스템의 제어성능평가를 하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 제어성능의 효율성을 향상시키기 위하여 부상체(Platen)의 기계적인 모델링을 행하고 Platen의 PTP(point to point) 및 궤도추종제어가 가능한 슬라이딩 모드제어기를 제안하였다. 제안한 슬라이딩 모드제어기는 모델링 오차 및 외란에 대해서도 강인한 제어성능을 얻을 수 있으며 수치시뮬레이션을 통하여 그 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • Femtocells are cellular access points that connect to a mobile operator's network using residential DSL or cable broadband connections. They have been developed to work with a range of different cellular standards including CDMA, GSM and UMTS. Like legacy base station, the frequency accuracy and phase alignment is necessary for ensuring the quality of service (QoS) for applications such as voice, real-time video, wireless hand-off, and data over a converged access medium at the femtocell. But, the GPS has some problem to be used at the femtocell, because it is difficult to set-up, depends on the satellite condition, and very expensive. So, some techniques are discussed to alternate with the legacy GPS system. NTP, PTP, Synchronous Ethernet use the ethernet to synchronize distributed clocks in packet networks. AGPS support reliable position information than the legacy GPS in poor signal conditions. But, These method also have some problems. So, hybrid timing method like A-GPS+PTP and TV+GPS was developed to make up the weak point of GPS. This paper introduces the each method and compare each other and y propose much better solution for timing synchronization at the Femtocell
