The aim of this paper is to propose the alternative algorithm to finish the process in public key cryptography. In general, the proposed method can be selected to finish both of modular exponentiation and point multiplication. Although this method is not the best method in all cases, it may be the most efficient method when the condition responds well to this approach. Assuming that the binary system of the exponent or the multiplier is considered and it is divided into groups, the binary system is in excellent condition when the number of groups is small. Each group is generated from a number of 0 that is adjacent to each other. The main idea behind the proposed method is to convert the exponent or the multiplier as the subtraction between two integers. For these integers, it is impossible that the bit which is equal to 1 will be assigned in the same position. The experiment is split into two sections. The first section is an experiment to examine the modular exponentiation. The results demonstrate that the cost of completing the modular multiplication is decreased if the number of groups is very small. In tables 7 - 9, four modular multiplications are required when there is one group, although number of bits which are equal to 0 in each table is different. The second component is the experiment to examine the point multiplication process in Elliptic Curves Cryptography. The findings demonstrate that if the number of groups is small, the costs to compute point additions are low. In tables 10 - 12, assigning one group is appeared, number of point addition is one when the multiplier of a point is an even number. However, three-point additions are required when the multiplier is an odd number. As a result, the proposed method is an alternative way that should be used when the number of groups is minimal in order to save the costs.
This study focuses on developing a building object recognition technology for efficient use in the remodeling of buildings constructed without drawings. In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, smart technologies are being developed. This research contributes to the architectural field by introducing a deep learning-based method for automatic object classification and recognition, utilizing point cloud data. We use a TD3D network with voxels, optimizing its performance through adjustments in voxel size and number of blocks. This technology enables the classification of building objects such as walls, floors, and roofs from 3D scanning data, labeling them in polygonal forms to minimize boundary ambiguities. However, challenges in object boundary classifications were observed. The model facilitates the automatic classification of non-building objects, thereby reducing manual effort in data matching processes. It also distinguishes between elements to be demolished or retained during remodeling. The study minimized data set loss space by labeling using the extremities of the x, y, and z coordinates. The research aims to enhance the efficiency of building object classification and improve the quality of architectural plans by reducing manpower and time during remodeling. The study aligns with its goal of developing an efficient classification technology. Future work can extend to creating classified objects using parametric tools with polygon-labeled datasets, offering meaningful numerical analysis for remodeling processes. Continued research in this direction is anticipated to significantly advance the efficiency of building remodeling techniques.

In this paper the effects of particle size and model scale of concrete have been investigated on point load index, tensile strength, and the failure processes using a PFC2D numerical modeling study. Circular and semi-circular specimens of concrete were numerically modeled using the same particle size, 0.27 mm, but with different model diameters of 75 mm, 54 mm, 25 mm, and 12.5 mm. In addition, circular and semi-circular models with the diameter of 27 mm and particle sizes of 0.27 mm, 0.47 mm, 0.67 mm, 0.87 mm, 1.07 mm, and 1.27 mm were simulated to determine whether they can match the experimental observations from point load and Brazilian tests. The numerical modeling results show that the failure patterns are influenced by the model scale and particle size, as expected. Both Is(50) and Brazilian tensile strength values increased as the model diameter and particle sizes increased. The ratio of Brazilian tensile strength to Is(50) showed a reduction as the particle size increased but did not change with the increase in the model scale.

In this paper, we proposed an optimal identification method of identifying the membership func¬tions and the fuzzy rules for the stabilization controller of the nonlinear system by RVEGA( Real Variable Elitist Genetic Algo rithm l. Although fuzzy logic controllers have been successfully applied to industrial plants, most of them have been relied heavily on expert's empirical knowl¬edge. So it is very difficult to determine the linguistic state space partitions and parameters of the membership functions and to extract the control rules. Most of conventional approaches have the drastic defects of trapping to a local minima. However, the proposed RVEGA which is similiar to the processes of natural evolution can optimize simulta¬neously the fuzzy rules and the parameters of membership functions. The validity of the RVEGA - based fuzzy controller was proved through applications to the stabi¬lization problems of an inverted pendulum system with highly nonlinear dynamics. The proposed RVEGA - based fuzzy controller has a swing -. up control mode(swing - up controller) and a stabi¬lization one(stabilization controller), moves a pendulum in an initial stable equilibrium point and a cart in an arbitrary position, to an unstable equilibrium point and a center of the rail. The stabi¬lization controller is composed of a hierarchical fuzzy inference structure; that is, the lower level inference for the virtual equilibrium point and the higher level one for position control of the cart according to the firstly inferred virtual equilibrium point. The experimental apparatus was imple¬mented by a DT -- 2801 board with AID, D/A converters and a PC - 586 microprocessor.
The use of drones and laser scanners have the potential to drastically reduce the time and costs of conventional techniques employed for field survey of cultural heritage buildings. Moreover, point cloud data can be utilized to create an as-built Building Information Model (BIM), providing a repository for consistent operations information. However, BIM creation is not a requisite for heritage buildings, and their technological possibilities and barriers have not been documented. This research explored the processes required to convert a heritage university building to a BIM model, using existing off-the-shelf software applications. Point cloud data was gathered from drones for the exterior, while a laser scanner was employed for the interior of the building. The point clouds were preprocessed and used as references for the geometry of the building elements, including walls, slabs, windows, doors, and staircases. The BIM model was subsequently created for the individual elements using existing and custom libraries. The model was used to extract 2D CAD drawings that met the requirements of Korea's heritage preservation specifications. The experiment showed that technical improvements were needed to overcome issues of occlusion, modeling errors due to modeler's subjective judgements and point cloud data cleaning and filtering techniques.

Penetration problems in geomechanics are common. Usually the soil is heavily disturbed around the penetrating bodies and large deformations and distortions can occur. The simulation of the installation of displacement piles is a good example of the interest of these types of problems for geomechanics. In this paper the Material Point Method is used to overcome the difficulties associated with the simulations of problems involving large deformation and full displacement type penetration. Recent modifications of the Material Point Method known as Generalized Interpolation Material Point and the Convected Particle Domain Interpolation are also used and evaluated in some of the examples. Herein a footing submitted to large settlements is presented and simulated, together with the processes associated to a driven pile under undrained conditions. The displacements of the soil surrounding the pile are compared with those obtained by the Small Strain Path Method. In addition, the Modified Cam Clay model is implemented in a code of MPM and used to simulate the process of driving a pile in dry sand. Good and rather encouraging agreement is found between compared data.
As the shape and size of detectable objects diversifying recognition and segmentation algorithms have been developed to acquire accurate shape information. Although a high density of data captured by the repetition of scanning improves the accuracy of algorithms the high dense data decreases the efficiency due to its large size. This paper proposes standardization algorithms using the feature of structural members on indoor point cloud data to improve the process. First of all we determine the reduction rate of the density based on the features of the target objects then the data reduction algorithm compresses the data based on the reduction rate. Second the data arrangement algorithm rotates the data until the normal vector of data is aligned along the coordinate axis to allow the following algorithms to operate properly. Final the data arrangement algorithm separates the rotated data into their leaning axis. This allows reverse engineering of indoor point clouds to obtain the efficiency and accuracy of refinement processes.
The paper proposes a methodology that combines the Random Sample Consensus (RANSAC) algorithm and the Point Cloud Encoder-Decoder Network (PCEDNet) algorithm to automatically extract the length of infrastructure elements from point cloud data acquired through 3D LiDAR scans of retaining walls. This methodology is expected to significantly improve time and cost efficiency compared to traditional manual measurement techniques, which are crucial for the data-driven analysis required in the precision-demanding construction sector. Additionally, the extracted positional and dimensional data can contribute to enhanced accuracy and reliability in Scan-to-BIM processes. The results of this study are anticipated to provide important insights that could accelerate the digital transformation of the construction industry. This paper provides empirical data on how the integration of digital technologies can enhance efficiency and accuracy in the construction industry, and offers directions for future research and application.
