최근 휴대폰, PDA(Personal Digital Assistants) 등 이동 단말기의 발전으로 개인 정보 관리 위주로만 사용하던 이동 단말기의 역할이 게임, 원격 감시 분야 등 여러 분야로 확대되었다. 원격 감시 분야의 경우, 초기에는 하드웨어의 단순한 유선 연결만을 이용하여 감시 하였다. 원격 감시 기술은 인터넷 등장과 함께 급속도로 발전, 보급되었고 웹으로도 원격 감시를 할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만, 웹을 이용한 방식은 공간과 시간의 제약이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 무선 인터넷이 가능한 이동 단말기와 원격 감시 분야를 접목시킴으로써 공간과 시간 제약 없이 원격 감시를 할 수 있게 된다. 이동 단말기에는 원격 감시 소프트웨어가 탑재된다. 소프트웨어를 통해 서버에 접근할 때는 사용자인증을 하여 영상에 대한 보안성을 높였다. 이 때 서버와 이동 단말기 간의 통신은 영상과 제어 메시지를 통하여 수행하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 사용자가 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 이동 단말기인 PDA에 원격 감시 소프트웨어를 탑재하여 가정 또는 공장 등에 있는 서버와 영상, 제어 메시지를 통하여 감시와 제어를 할 수 있는 원격 감시 시스템의 구조를 제안한다.

In this paper, it is presented to the designed and implemented care system fur health diagnosis. The designed handhold care system is implemented by embedded Visual C++4.0 and Pocket PC2003 software development kit (SDK) in an 802.11 wireless network, and we were conducted that the research provide sufficiently the usefulness of the U health system for the collection of care management information. The proposed system is consists of care management module for health diagnosis, personal record module, data transport module, image information management module for clinic. Also, fur emergency status, transmission function of clinic information is implemented by wireless LAN protocol and serial communication.

This paper covers the performance evaluation of two flash memory-based file storages, NAND and NOR, which are the major flash types. To evaluate their performances, we set up separate file storages for the two types of flash memories on a PocketPC-based experimental platform. Using the platform, we measured and compared the I/O throughputs in terms of buffer size, amount of used space, and kernel-level write caching. According to the results from our experiments, the overall performance of the NAND-based storage is higher than that of NOR by up to 4.8 and 5.7 times in write and read throughputs, respectively. The experimental results show the relative strengths and weaknesses of the two schemes and provide insights which we believe assist in the design of flash memory-based file storages.

무선 단말기 기반 기술의 발달에 따라 많은 이용자들이 있고, 일반 PC 에서만 사용되던 기술들을 무선의 시간 공간 제약이 없는 작업환경에서 이용하고자 하는 욕구의 증가로 점차 확산되고 있다. 이에 발 맞추어 2003 년 중반 4 개 은행이 PC 에서 사용되던 인터넷 뱅킹을 무선 단말기를 이용하는 서비스로 확장 시행하였다 현재 단말기는 PPC(Pocket PC)와 Palm, 사용되는 운영체제로는 Window CE 와 Palm 을 운영체제로 하는 기기에서 서비스를 제공하고 있어, 위의 단말기를 제외한 이 기종에서 서비스 사용이 어렵다. 더 많은 사용자들의 사용을 위해서는 다양한 단말기에서의 사용이 가능하여야 하기 때문에 이 논문에서는 Linux를 OS로 하는 단말기에서의 WPKI인증 기술을 구현한다.

Three different cDNAS for cinnamate 4-hydroxylase (C4H) which are involved in the second step of the general phenylpropanoid pathway were isolated and designated as pc4h1 (1,755 bp), pc4h2 (1,655 bp), and pc4h3 (1,316 bp), respectively. The nucleotide sequence analysis revealed that both pc4h1 and pc4h2 clones encode polypeptides of 505 amino acids frame but pc4h3 clone was truncated at the 5'-end of coding region. The alignment of the deduced amino acid sequences showed that PC4H1 and PC4H2 are highly homologous (95.8% identical) with each other and contain three conserved domains which are typical in cytochrome P450 monooxygenase: proline-rich region, threonine-containing binding pocket for the oxygen molecule, and heme binding region. In addition, result of the phylogenic tree analysis revealed that both pepper C4Hs belong to Class 1. pc4h2 transcription was strongly induced in wounded fruit (400%) and root (200%) relative to its very low basal level but not in leaf or stem tissue. In case of pc4h1, the basal level of transcription was higher than pc4h2 but induction by wounding was lower in fruit and root while leaf and stem tissues did not respond to wounding. The basal level of pc4h3 transcripts was not, if any, detectable and response to wounding was not observed.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the reliability and validity of a personal computer-based muscle viewer (PC-BMW) compared with that of a portable ultrasound (P-US) for measuring upper trapezius (UT) and transversus abdominis (TrA) muscle thickness at rest and during contraction. Design: Observational inter-rater reliability study. Methods: Fifty-five healthy participants (25 men, 30 women) participated in this study. PC-BMW and P-US were randomly measured at the UT and TrA muscles. Two examiners randomly obtained the images of all participants in 3 test sessions lasting 2 days. Intra-class correlation coefficients (ICCs), standard error of measurement, contraction ratio, and correlation were used to estimate reliability and validity. Pearson's correlation coefficients were used to analyze the relationship between muscle thickness measures taken from PC-BMW and P-US. Results: The intra-rater reliability ICCs of UT and TrA muscle thickness for the PC-BMW were >0.995, indicating excellent reliability. Inter-rater reliability ICCs for the PC-BMW ranged from 0.963 to 0.987. The P-US also exhibited high reliability. A high correlation was found between the measurements of the two muscles in PC-BMW and P-US (p<0.01). Conclusions: PC-BMW provides clear and excellent images, is pocket-sized and less expensive than a conventional ultrasound imaging system. PC-BMW can be utilized variously and has the advantage of rehabilitative ultrasound imaging. More research is needed to evaluate the utility of PC-BMW for rehabilitation.

Smart phone is easy-to-use and excellent portability and mobility like Pocket PC. It is easy to information and data search anytime and anywhere unaffected by time and place. It is to possible a variety of information exchange with several acquaintances and easy to photos and video photography. Wish to improve the life satisfaction with widely using for smart phones at all ages.

Palm OS 위주로 발전해오던 PDA 시장에 Microsoft 사의 OS인 PocketPC 2000/2002와 고성능의 하드웨어가 출현하면서 PDA 기반 응용 소프트웨어의 기능도 일정 관리 등의 개인 정보 관리 기능을 벗어나 게임, 동영상 등 멀티미디어 응용 부분으로 확대되고 있다. 그 중에서도 최근 들어 3D를 표방하는 게임 및 응용 프로그램들이 속속 등장하고 있다. 본 고에서는 현재 PDA 환경에서 사용되는 삼차원 그래픽스 라이브러리의 현황과 전망을 짚어 보고자 한다.

The contents of prescription service were comparatively analysed between health centers(HC) and private clinics(PC). Medical chart review was done for 330 otu-patients diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection(UR) of 120 adults and 90 children, and gastritis or duodenitis of 120 adults. Emphasis on comparison was the prime cost of medication which used in prescription service. The results were as follows; 1. The prime costs fro the medication per visit of HC group were significantly higher than PC group in all three diseases, and the out of pocket payments of patients per visit were significantly lower in the HC group than PC group. 2. The reason for high prime costs of medication per visit of HC in adult case of URI were due to the idverse use of medication and long prescription period per visit. And high medication costs in children cases of URI in HC group were due to the longer prescription day. In cases of gastritis, the prime cost of medication was also higher because of longer prescription period and the higher prime cost of medication. The proportions of medications for injection in the HC and PC groups showed similar features. 3. In depth analysis of the prescription services showed the differences of the contents of medication. In adults cases of URI, the averaged cost of oral medication was significantly lower in HC group, but that of medication for injection was higher in HC group. In children cases of URI, the averaged cost of oral medication and medication for injection was lower in HC group than in PC group. But in the cases of gastritis it was was higher in HC group than in PC group. The prescription periods were longer in HC group than in PC group in all three diseases. As a conclusion prime medication cost and quality of prescription services of HC group were higher than PC group. In terms of health care the cost containment and quality assurance in physician visit for common disease, public sector utilization is good option for those perspectives. But it should not be generalized unless future study about structure and outcome research for quality assurance.

According to get ubiquitous environment, it is suggested to environment to get information with whichever terminal at any time wherever. Advancement of ability of mobile device increase requirement of wireless internet base solution. In this paper We developed distance education system based on wireless internet. This system has no problem of bandwidth and resolution of pocket pc because of using SWF(Shockwave Flash). It can maintain readability of high quality when size of resolution is changed but another graphic format can't maintain it.
