The CARB in USA has demanded OBD functions that detect any deterioration of performance of OTS as well as a simple defect of OTS which can affect emission to meet the reinforced emission regulation. In this paper, OTS plausibility monitoring functions to meet the demand from CARB are discussed. The output from OTS is used for the diagnostics of the torque converter clutch stuck and the gear ratio synchronous error. It is possible to diagnose the abnormality of OTS function by considering the oil temperature characteristics which changes according to the driving status of vehicles. In result, the OBD regulations of the CARB can be satisfied obligating car manufacturer to detect any problems in OTS functions which can affect emissions.

본 연구에서는 서로 다른 센서간의 영상 자료 융합을 위하여 Dempster-Shafer 기법을 제안하고 있다. 제안 된 Dempster-Shafer 기법은 불확실성의 최소 값을 대표하는 Belief 함수와 불확실성의 최대 값을 나타내는 Plausibility 함수를 사용한다. 이러한 두 함수의 차이는 Belief Interval 로 정의되며 이 값은 분석 대상에 존재하는 불확실 정도의 Measure 로 사용되며 Evidence Combination의 이론에 근거하여 서로 다른 센서간의 자료 융합이 가능하며 분류 결과로 클래스 맵 뿐 만 아니라 분류 결과에 대한 불확실성 정도를 나타내는 Belief 함수 값과 Plausibility 함수 값을 생성하여 분류 결과에 대한 보충적인 분석을 가능하게 하여 사용자의 분석 정확성을 증대 시킬 수 있다.

This study was peformed to investigate the use of preprocessed foods, satisfaction on using them, and the plausibility to extend its use in 134 elementary school foodservices in Incheon by questionnaire from December 11th to 28th in 1999. The percentages of school foodservices to purchase and use preprocessed foods were 99.06% in seed, 97.64% in fishes and poultry, 87.74% in meats, 57.55% in eggs, 55.32% in fresh vegetables, 51.42% in dried vegetables and 34.90% in beans. Dietitians were satisfied with having used preprocessed foods, and the reduction in cooking time was listed as the biggest advantage which could be obtained by using preprocessed foods. However, dietitians showed relatively negative attitudes for the plausibility to expand use of preprocessed foods.

The aim of this study is to propose the plausibility of Ship-repair industry brand in the global market. It has been argued that it is necessary to secure the identity of company because of the expansion of international market in the age of globalization. Authors of this paper have considered that the brand is a solution for global ship-repair industry's development in Busan region with focusing on the 5 elements (Salience, Imagery, Performance, Feeling, and Judgments) of Keller's brand equity block except Resonance. As a result, we presented the roles of company for securing the brand equity in ship-repair industry comparing with the elements of Keller's brand equity block. and implied the plausibility of global ship-repair industry's development. Especially, Securing the licences and certifications related to ship-repair industry is very important thing about the brand equity.

품질보증활동은 양산단계에서 위험 식별을 기반으로 품질에 영향을 주는 인자를 확인할 수 있다. 위험 식별은 고장 분석을 통해 이루어지며, 회전익 항공기 착륙장치에 대한 고장 분석 방법은 고장 유형 영향 분석(FMEA)으로 선정하였다. FMEA는 고장 유형에 대해서 심각도, 발생도, 검출도에 대한 정보를 결합하여 품질에 영향을 미치는 인자를 확인하는 방법이다. FMEA 결과는 위험도를 통해 고장 우선순위를 결정한다. 하지만 심각도, 발생도, 검출도에 대한 중요도는 동일하게 구성된다. Dempster-Shafer 증거 이론은 경험과 주관이 반영된 의견에 대해서 불확실성 분석을 수행한다. 또한, Dempster-Shafer 증거 이론은 믿음 함수와 개연성 함수를 구성할 수 있으며, 믿음 함수와 개연성 함수를 통해 가설의 믿음 정도, 신뢰도를 확인할 수 있다. 회전익 항공기 착륙장치는 이륙 및 착륙 시 충격을 받는 구성품으로, 양산단계에서 고장 유형을 관리하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 회전익 항공기 착륙장치의 고장 유형에 대한 위험도 분석을 위해 Dempster-Shafer 증거 이론을 이용한 FMEA를 제안하고, 고장 우선순위를 결정한다. 결과는 믿음 함수 및 개연성 함수 곡선을 통해 도출한다.

선행 연구들에서는 그럴듯한 기준점이 극단적 기준점보다 더 큰 기준점 효과를 야기하는 반면, 주어진 문항과 관련된 개인의 지식수준이 높으면 기준점 효과가 작아진다고 보고하고 있다. 하지만 제시되는 기준점이 그럴듯한지 여부와 주어진 문항 자체의 난이도가 기준점 효과에 미치는 영향을 함께 살펴본 연구는 없었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기준점의 극단성과 문항의 난이도가 기준점 효과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았으며, 이에 더해 응답 확신도와 기준점 효과의 관계도 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 예비 연구를 통해 쉬운 문항과 어려운 문항, 그럴듯한 기준점과 극단적인 기준점을 선정하였다. 본 실험은 '표준 기준점 실험 절차' 에 따라 진행되었다. 연구 결과, 기준점의 극단성과 문항의 난이도는 각각 기준점 효과에 영향을 미쳤으며 문항의 난이도는 응답 확신도에도 또한 영향을 미쳤다. 구체적으로, 그럴듯한 기준점을 제시했을 때와 어려운 문항을 제시했을 때에 기준점 효과가 크게 나타났다. 또한 자신의 수행에 대한 확신이 낮을수록 극단적인 기준점이 제시되었을 때 기준점의 영향을 크게 받았다. 이러한 결과는 기준점이 그럴듯한지와 문항의 난이도에 따라 기준점 효과의 크기와 확신 정도, 그리고 기준점 효과와 확신도 사이의 상관관계가 다르게 나타난다는 것을 보여준다. 본 연구의 결과는 기준점의 특성이나 개인의 상태에 따라 기준점 효과가 달라진다고 제안하는 기준점 효과에 관한 태도 변화 관점을 뒷받침한다.

This paper concerns different forms of poetic thinking, each of which attempts to investigating truth of being on the ground of its idiosyncratic feature. The horizon evoked via these practices, however, is the Absolute where any plausibility of communication be fundamentally blocked off. Poetry, for instance, relinquishes its semantic auto-referentiality in order to be expressive of something unsayable. Poetic diction, coming-into-being, and sound with no meaning are those three expressive modes that I will examine in terms of the so-called "poetic thinking."

This paper investigates simple gray level image enhancement technique based on Genetic Algorithms and Local Statistics. The task of GA is to adapt the parameters of local sliding masks over pixels, finding out the best parameters preserving the brightness and possibly preventing the creation of intensity artifacts in the local area of images. The algorithm is controlled by GA as to enhance the contrast and details in the images automatically according to an object fitness criterion. Results obtained in terms of subjective and objective evaluations, show the plausibility of the method suggested here.
