  • This paper aims to study the using motivation and influencing factors of Chinese users' participation in live stream shopping through theoretical and empirical analysis, so as to evaluate the change in users' needs and improve marketing strategies. In doing so, I conducted a questionnaire survey for Chinese live stream shopping users and collected the required data. For empirical analysis, I used SPSS and AMOS software to carry out descriptive analysis, reliability and validity analysis and structural equation model analysis (SEM) to test the hypothesis. The results of the analysis showed that core competency and brand personality of the short video industry have a significant impact on user and customer perceived value, thus influencing users' using motivation. That is, users do not blindly follow live stream shopping but make their active choice. Therefore, it is suggested that live stream shopping platform should strengthen the e-commerce attributes and eradicate "the sense of false satisfaction", in order to achieve the effective communication of information. On the other hand, to stimulate the purchase motivation of users, the brand should build up its personality, and enhance user and customer perceived value in cyber marketing.

  • Traceability links are logical links between individual requirements and other system elements such as architecture descriptions, source code, and test cases. These are useful for requirements change impact analysis, requirements conflict analysis, and requirements consistency checking. However, establishing and maintaining traceability links places a big burden since complex systems have especially yield an enormous number of various artifacts. We propose a feature-oriented requirements tracing method to manage requirements with cost benefit analysis, including value consideration and intermediate catalysis using features. Our approach offers two contributions to the study of requirements tracing: (1)We introduce feature modeling as intermediate catalysis to generate traceability links between user requirements and implementation artifacts. (2)We provide value consideration with cost and efforts to identify traceability links based on prioritized requirements, thus assigning a granularity level to each feature. In this paper, we especially present the results of a case study which is carried out in Apartment Ubiquitous Platform to integrate and connect home services in an apartment complex in details.

  • Unlike the first generation of Korean Wave (Hallyu 1.0), which mainly refers to the exports of Korean TV dramas via broadcasting systems, the New Korean Wave (Hallyu 2.0) era has been brought by K-pop (Korean popular music) via the rapid growth of social media. The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of this significant shift in media on global fans and their way of adopting Korean cultural goods from a social capital perspective, in order to draw some implications for the current Korean content industries. Most global fans of K-pop are young and use social media to access digital content and share their opinions spontaneously. SNS providers such as YouTube and Facebook not only act as information providers to usher the fans to online music retailers; but also function as links between these fans and cultural producers by turning bonding social capital into bridging social capital. Telecommunication and advertising companies participate in this market as a third party by providing funds for supporting digital circulation and distribution. In this multi-sided market with the interdependent agents, it is extremely important to secure a platform that leads the evolution of its business ecology. Without owning the platform, there is also a very little chance to produce linking social capital as a means to maximize the impact of New Korean Wave.

  • Background: The objectives of the study are to find out the effect of the implementing reform in three Central Asian countries, identify its impact on health status and health care delivery systems. This study address to identify strong and weak points of the health systems and provide a recommendation for further health care organization. Methods: A comparative analysis was conducted to evaluate the effects of implemented policy on health care system efficiency and equity. Secondary data were collected on selected health indicators using information from the World Health Organization Global Health Expenditure Database, European Health Information Platform, and World Bank Open Data. Results: In terms of population status, countries achieved relatively good results. Infant mortality and under-5 mortality rate decreased in all countries; also, life expectancy increased, and it was more than 70 years. Regulations of the health systems are still highly centralized, and the Ministry of Health is the main organ responsible for national health policy developing and implementation. Among the three countries, only Kyrgyzstan was successful in introducing a national health system. Distribution of health expenditure between public expenditure and out-of-pocket payments was decreased, and out-of-pocket payments were less the 50% of total health expenditure in all countries, in 2014. Conclusion: After independent, all three countries implemented a certain number of the policy reform, mostly it was directed to move away from the old the Soviet system. Subsequent reform should be focused on evidence-based decision making and strengthening of primary health care in terms of new public health concepts.

  • As YouTube is rapidly growing as an information platform, we investigated practical impacts of YouTube knowledge content and creator characteristics on viewer satisfaction and purchase intention. In so doing, an empirical survey was conducted among the viewers of <Chekgrim>, one of representative book YouTube channels in Korea. A total of 641 valid samples were analyzed. This study aims to understand the impact of knowledge contents on YouTube, and creator characteristics on viewer satisfaction and purchase intention. Specifically, for the study, content characteristics were divided into three sub-factors: entertainment, information, and interactivity, and the creator characteristics were divided into two sub-factors: intimacy and professionalism. Viewing satisfaction and purchase intention were set as dependent variables. The results of various analyses confirm that creator characteristics have direct and indirect effects on viewers' purchase intentions, and in particular, intimacy has the greatest influence on purchase intentions. This is expected to be a meaningful empirical analysis for future influencer marketing strategies and effective communications between content creators and consumers.

  • Containers are an emerging virtualization technology that can build an isolated environment more lightweight and faster than existing virtual machines. For that reason, many organizations have recently adopted them for their services. Yet, the container architecture has also exposed many security problems since all containers share the same OS kernel. In this work, we focus on the fact that an attacker can abuse host resources to make them unavailable to benign containers-also known as host resource exhaustion attacks. Then, we analyze the impact of host resource exhaustion attacks through real attack scenarios exhausting critical host resources, such as CPU, memory, disk space, process ID, and sockets in Docker, the most popular container platform. We propose five attack scenarios performed in several different host environments and container images. The result shows that three of them put other containers in denial of service.

  • This study aimed to investigate the impact of the epidemic disease including Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS) on the usage of public libraries. Such disease yields anxiety throughout the nation and discourages social activities in general. 18,711,453 records from 303 public libraries were examined with "big data retrieval & analysis platform for public libraries" located in Sejong National Library. The results are as follows. First, in 2015, when MERS was prevalent, the daily mean of books checked out was 64,645.05, showing decrease of 6,300 per day compared to that of 2014. Second, in 2014, the daily mean of books checked out from July 5th to August 19th was greater than that of from April 4th to May 19th and that of from May 20th to July 4th, implying the impact of summer vacation on the increase in books checked out in public libraries. Third, in 2015, the daily mean of books checked out from July 5th was greater than during MERS outbreak(from May 20th to July 4th), while it did not show statistically significant difference with that of before the outbreak. Fourth, the daily mean of books checked out did not show statistically significant difference between 2014 and 2015 before and during the outbreak, while it showed statistically significant difference between 2014 and 2015 after the epidemic period. The results indicate that MERS and the anxiety it brought nationwide had an impact on the daily mean of books checked out in public libraries after the epidemic period rather than during the outbreak.
