판형교의 가속도-임피던스 신호를 이용한 하이브리드 손상 모니터링 기법 (Hybrid Damage Monitoring Technique for Plate Girder Bridges using Acceleration-Impedance Signatures)

  • In this paper, a hybrid vibration-impedance approaches is newly proposed to detect the occurrence of damage, the location of damage, and extent of damage in steel plate-girder bridges. The hybrid scheme mainly consists of three sequential phases: 1) to alarm the occurrence of damage, 2) to classify the alarmed damage, and 3) to estimate the classified damage in detail. Damage types of interest include flexural stiffness-loss in girder and bolts-loose in supports. In the first phase, the global occurrence of damage is alarmed by monitoring changes in acceleration features. In the second phase, the alarmed damage is classified into subsystems by recognizing patterns of impedance features. In the final phase, the location and the extent of damage are estimated by using modal strain energy-based damage index method and root mean square deviation method. The feasibility of the proposed system is evaluated on a laboratory-scaled steel plate-girder bridge model for which hybrid vibration-impedance signatures were measured for several damage scenarios.

실동하중에 의한 강판형교의 교통하중 분포 (The Distribution of the Normal Traffic Loads on the Steel Plate Girder Bridge)

  • The objectives of the study are to know the strain distribution and modal dynamic behaviour of steel bridge girders by actual traffic load. The live load effect depends on many parameters including the span length, gross vehicle weight, axle weight, axle configuration so on. For the estimation of static and dynamic characteristic, strain data caused by moving loads and traffic characteristics of passing vehicle under actual traffic load have measured using Bridge Weigh in Motion. To confirm the reliability of BWIM system, strain data measured using the $120{\Omega}$ strain gauge under the same condition. It is considered that the data acquired from BWIM system have reliability through the analysis and comparison between stress measured by strain data from BWIM and computed by FEM. Additionally according to the measured strain data of up-line and down-line on the highway, the up-line bridge grows more faster than the down-line bridge and girder 4 and 5 carry more load when vehicles pass the inner line and girder 2 and 3 does when vehicles pass the outer line as this case(the bridge composed with 5 girders).

  • 최근에는 법공학 분야에 구조해석 및 구조-유동 연성해석을 이용한 다양한 시뮬레이션 기법을 활용하여 안전사고 및 재난사고에 대한 법적 책임문제를 해명하고, 보다 정확한 원인분석을 통해 원인을 규명하고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서 다룬 플레이트 거더교 사고는 교각과 교대 사이의 기존 교각에 대하여 확장 교각을 신설하던 중 방호벽 콘크리트 타설이 완료되는 시점에 전도 추락되어 발생되었다. 본 사고는 설계와 다른 시공 작업과 설계 시 고려되지 않은 추가 하중 등으로 인해 확장 교량에 부반력이 발생하여 구조적 불안정을 가져와 붕괴된 사고로 MIDAS 구조 해석을 통해 설계와 실제 시공 시 작업 하중에 대한 구조적 안정성을 비교 평가하여 정확한 공학적 사고의 원인을 규명하고자 한다.

플레이트거더 지하철교량 세로보의 피로 균열에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fatigue Crack at Coped Stringers of the Plate Girder Subway-Bridge)

  • 거동이 복잡한 실제 구조물의 사용하중으로 인한 피로 균열 해석 방법을 제시하기 위해 구 당산철교 플레이트교 세로보에 발생한 피로균열을 대상으로 하여 사용 기간에 따른 피로균열의 길이를 계산하였다. 계산의 편리와 컴퓨터의 계산 용량 등을 고려하여 특정 부분만 정밀하게 해석하였고, 구조해석의 오차와 열차의 운행 하중 등을 고려하기 위해 여러 보정계수를 사용하였다. 상부구조 1개 경간을 보요소로 모델링하여 열차 통과로 인한 세로보의 거동 이력을 해석하였으며, 세로보 연결부의 플랜지가 절취된 곳에 집중된 응력을 구하기 위하여 세로보 한 개를 쉘요소로 모델링하여 정밀해석을 수행하였다. 피로균열의 진행은 파괴역학적 모델을 사용하여 계산하였으며, 응력확대계수는 유한요소해석 방법으로 J-Integral를 구하여 환산한 값을 사용하였다. 가정한 초기균열의 크기와 균열 진행속도 계산식에 따라 차이는 있으나 계산된 피로균열의 길이는 현장에서 조사된 피로균열길이에 잘 부합되는 것으로 나타났다.

강합성 플레이트거더교의 가로보 배치에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Disposition of Cross Beams in Composite Plate Girder Bridge)

  • 본 논문에서는 수직 및 수평 브레이싱을 생략하고 I-형 거더를 가로보만으로 연결한 다주형 강합성 플레이트거더교 형식에서 가로보의 적정 배치 간격 및 소요 휨강성의 산정을 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 지간 40m의 단순교와 40+50+40m의 2차로 4주형 연속교를 예제교량으로 시산 설계하였다. 본 교량에 대해 중간가로보의 배치 간격과 휨강성를 매개변수로 하여 합성전 후 고정하중, 활하중 및 지진하중을 포함하는 설계하중에 대한 응력 해석을 수행한 후 강재 주형 및 라로보의 격자구조에 대해 합성전 고정하중을 고려한 재료-기하비선형해석으로부터 횡비틀림 좌굴강도를 평가하였다. 이상의 두 가지 국면 해석 결과를 토대로 단부 및 중간가로보의 적정 배치 간격과 소요 휨강성을 제안하였다.

판형교 장대레일 부설에 따른 계측 및 평가 (Test and Evaluation of the CWR on Steel Plate Girder Railway Bridge)

  • To the installed CWR (Continuously Welded Rail) on steel plate girder bridges without ballast, shoes were replaced by the shoe for reduced axial force. During 9 months, from summer to winter, expansion by a temperature on girders, axial forces by a temperature on CWR, etc. are tested and the results are evaluated. Also, with the numerical analysis, the results - axial forces by a temperature on CWR, deformations of girders, etc. are compared and evaluated. From the longitudinal displacement on girders, occurred by run of trains, because of looking for the stability, the bearings for reducing axial forces are applied to the railway bridges. It is verified that the bearings for reducing axial forces disperse the axial forces by a temperature from the measurement of the forces on CWR of plate girder bridges,.

  • In the design of plate girder web panels, it is required to evaluate accurately the elastic buckling strength under pure shear, pure bending and combined bending and shear. Currently, elastic buckling coefficients of web panels stiffened by transverse intermediate stiffeners are determined by assuming conservatively that web panels are simply supported at the juncture between the flange and web. However, depending upon the geometry and the properties of the plate girder bridge, upper juncture between the flange and web can be assumed as fixed because concrete deck prevents the rotational displacement of upper flange. In the present study, a series of numerical analyses based on finite element modeling is carried out to investigate the effects of the concrete deck, and the resulting data are quantified in simple equations.

  • The high speed train service will be offered for high-quality transport service in existing railway by Korean National Railroad(KNR). Therefore, this paper presents the results of analysis carried out to determine the dynamic response characteristics of deck plate girder bridges which are representative elevated structures of existing railway and to evaluate their suitabilities for supporting Korea Train Express(KTX) trainsets in the speed range 0-250 km/h. Their dynamic characteristics are analyzed concerning structural safety, train-operation safety and passenger comfort. The simplified method for 2-dimensional train/track/bridge interaction analysis is utilized in the analysis of dynamic behaviors of deck plate girder bridges.

비합성형 판형사교의 모형화 (Modeling of Noncomposite Skew Plate Girder Bridges)

  • The design of noncomposite construction for skew bridges with large skew angels has been often checked because composite construction may cause large stresses in the bridge deck. In this study, the analytical model considered dynamic behaviors for noncomposite skew bridges was proposed. Using the proposed analytical model, the effects of interactions between the concrete deck and steel girders such as composite construction, and noncomposite construction on the dynamic characteristics of simply supported skew bridges were investigated. A series of parametric studies for the total 27 skew bridges was conducted with respect to parameters such as girder spacing, skew angle, and deck aspect ratio. The slip at the interfaces between the concrete deck and steel girders may bring about longer vibration periods that result in the reduced total seismic base shear.

장척레일 축력 비교 연구 (A comparison study for the Axial forte of Longer Rail)

  • Form the application of long rail system the non-ballast steel plate bridges, fatigue strength increase and rail noise reduction can be expected. This is mainly form the reduction of the rail impact at the rail joint locations which already made to behave together from welds. In the high speed rail, application of long rail system is essential because without long rail system, the required serviceability level can not be achieved. But even with this long rail systems, the thermal expansion from the girder can not be absorbed in the normal bearing systems, and these expansion cause between girder and rail. Also unexpected rail buckling and fracture through rail thermal tension may happen. It was found through numerical analysis and field measurement that these problems can be avoided by semi-fixed bearing system. In this study, the benefits of non-ballast plate bridge through long rail system, especially at the point of girder stability, girder stiffness increase and bearing maintenance will be reviewed.
