  • The free vibrations of the outer-clamped spinning annular disk which simulates a wafer cutting machine are investigated. The effects of the initial tension, the centrifugal force and outer-fixture extension caused by spinning on the vibration characteristics of the disk are considered. The modal parameters of the disk are calculated by using Galerkin's method as the rotating speed and initial tension are varied. Laboratory experiments are also performed with a rotating and stationary disk, and, it is found that experimental and simulation results are in good agreement.

  • Since carbon fiber epoxy composite materials have excellent properties for structures due to their high specific strength, high specific modulus, high damping and low thermal expansion, the hollow shafts made of carbon fiber epoxy composites have been widely used for power transmission shafts for motor vehicles , spindles of machine tools, motor base, bearing mount for tool up and manufacturing. The molded composite machine elements are not usually accurate enough for mechanical machine elements, which require turning drilling , cutting and grinding. The experiment are surface grinding wheel GC60 to the carbon fiber epoxy composite specimen with respect to staking angle [0]nT , [45]nT, [90]nT on the CNC grinding machine. In this paper, the surface grinding characteristics of composite plate, which are surveyed experimentally and analytically with respect to the grinding force, surface roughness and wheel loading according to the variable depth of cut, wheel velocity and table feed rate are investigated.

  • The Al3003 aluminum plate was cut by grinding, milling, sawing, and shearing, and the hard-anodizing surface of the material was investigated. Large burrs were formed during grinding and milling. The brittle anodized film split and migrated along the deformed aluminum surface. During shearing, the hard-anodized film on the blade entry surface cracks and slides along the deforming aluminum. The cutting heat increased the ductility of the aluminum and further promoted burr formation. The oil-based coolant suppressed burrs and prevented chips from sticking to the endmill. It is better to avoid the high cutting speed and slow material feed rate conditions, which increase the cutting temperature and burr in the band saw.

  • As business of steel consuming industries is freshly booming in domestic and foreign countries especially in China, the price of steel plates comes to very high compare with the other materials. The HR Plates made from hot rolled coils is lower steel plates in price. In this study, material characteristics of HR Plates is investigated and availabilities of HR Plates for steel bridges as sub member or a main member is discussed. No difference between steel plates and HR Plates with thickness up to 22mm is found in most characters such as cutting operation, fabrication and even welding. As sub member in steel box girders, the application ratio and the loss ratio of HR Plate is investigated as about $10{\sim}15%$, average $10{\sim}15%$ respectively.

  • Eco deck plate system is a construction method that deconstruction of galvanized steel sheets is possible by integrating steel-wire-integrated girders and the galvanized steel sheets with bolts. Therefore, compared with previous steel-wire-integrated deck plates which were joined by welding, the system is acknowledged as the construction method possible management and repair. This study conducted an experimental research by manufacturing total 24 full size specimens in a same condition for 12-shape specimens by two parts to evaluate structural behaviors of the eco deck plates. In the results after the test, permissible deflection for the construction load action was shown to be values under design values and satisfactory. The processing of lattice steel wires was presented to be structurally advantageous in being manufactured by cutting downward. Also, in case of a specimen that D13 as a steel wire was used, destruction occurred at the welding part of the bottom steel wire and the lattice steel wire, so improvement measures for the welding in factory manufacture are necessary.

  • This research is a technology for cutting the insulation of the busbar (busbar) installed in the distribution panel or switchboard, the results of the study, first, the cutting unit and frame of the cutting unit including a housing attached to the upper and lower cutters, respectively Busbar coating laser cutting machine is installed on the top, characterized by consisting of a stopper for adjusting the coating cutting distance of the busbar. Second, the frame is installed with the guide bar in the longitudinal direction at the top so as to be located at the rear side end of the table, the post is installed vertically at the front and rear at the upper middle part, respectively, and cut to the table at the outer side of the front post. It is characterized by the formation of holes. Third, the supporter is fixedly installed on the upper part of the guide bar arranged in the frame, and is characterized by consisting of a cylinder and a support plate. The meaning of this study is to prevent the safety accidents of workers, to improve the efficiency of cutting work, and to prevent the occurrence of scratches on the surface of the busbar.

  • The supersonic impinging jet has been extensively applied to rocket launching system, gas jet cutting control, gas turbine blade cooling, etc. In such applications, wall temperature of an object on which supersonic jet impinges is a very important factor to determine the performance and life of the device. However, wall temperature data of supersonic impinging jets are not enough to data. The present study describes an experimental work to measure the wall temperatures of a vertical flat plate on which supersonic, dual, coaxial jet impinges. An Infrared camera is employed to measure the wall temperature distribution on the impinging plate. The pressure ratio of the jet is varied to obtain the supersonic jets in the range of over-expanded to moderately under-expanded conditions at the exit of coaxial nozzle. The distance between the coaxial nozzle and the flat plate was also varied. The coaxial jet flows are visualized using a Shadow optical method. The results show that the wall temperature distribution of the impinging plate is strongly dependent on the jet pressure ratio and the distance between the nozzle and plate.

  • Machinabilities means inherent properties of pinus densiflora at Chunyang district to be CNC machined easily or not, and processing abilities of the tool and machine together. This explanation signifies that machinabilities have two phases of signification, depended on considering and stress either materials or tools preferentially. This paper discuss machinabilities, the following items are usually employed as the indices of stress distribution at the cutting tool rake face. The stress distributions on the chip - tool contact surface at the early stage of the chip forming and under the stage of fringe pattern in wood cutting were analyzed the photoelastic method. The tool used in the present experiment was the special cutting tool H.S.S. one made in laboratory. And isochromatic fringe pattern and isolinic line of work piece by chip-behavior during the cutting operation were photographed with the feed camera continuously. The effects on the stress, distribution on the rake face of the epoxy tool and the strain distribution in the work piece of wood plate by chip behavior are cleared in pre cent experiment.

  • This study to elucidate concentrations of impurities such as methanol and fusel oil formed during fermentation process among the different materials and has been applied technical seperation for processing improvement by continuous distillation of super-allospas type. Methanol was formed high concentrations of cutting dried sweet potato and tapioca in order among the different materials during fermentation process. n-Propanol oil was formed high concentration of rice, cutting dried sweet potato, corn, naked barley and tapioca in order among the those materials. I-Buthanol showed high concentration of tapioca, corn, rice, cutting dried sweet potato and naked barley in order and isoamyl-alcohol showed high concentration of tapioca, rice, cutting dried sweet potato, corn and naked barley in order. Using the continuous distillation of super-allospas type, the following are collection ratios of n-propanol, iso-butanol, n-butanol and iso-amylalcohol: 37.9%, 28.6%, 37.4%, and 56.1% when 78.25% (v/v), 68.54% (viv), 50.0% (viv), and 50.0% (v/v) alcohol are used, respectively. Fusel oil and bad alcohol put into the recovery column and then seperated directly by side cut of fusel oil partially from plate of tower bottom after concentration again. Extra impurities seperated by fusel oil seperator when 20 % (v/v) alcohol adjusted with water.
