Motor vehicle related air pollution has become more serious because of rapid increase of number of cars, specially in the urban area. The increase trend seems to be accelerated, however, the fact is that road conditions, parking facilities and traffic control systems are far behind coping with this situation. In spite of the lack of related basic data, urban transportation planning (UPT) and air pollution dispersion models were applied to predict air pollution level. In standard UPT model, trip generation, distribution, modal split and network assignment were estimated by experimental equations and appropriate models. The air pollution level in the central business area was believed to be higher and it will increase continuously due to the increase of traffic demand. To meet this situation, air pollution problem should be considered as a part of integrated plannings of urban plans or transportation plans as well as more stringent motor vehicle emission standards, have to be enforced.

There is a rapid increase of child care centers due to the growth of women's social activities and a nuclear family. Child care center is an important part of community facilities for apartment housing complex. This study aims to collect the basic data required to develop the planning standards for the child care centers. This research limited the child care centers which is situated to permanent rental housing complex. Therefore, this research presents the basic design guidelines for the space composition planning of child care centers by grasping the special quality connected with the space composition of child care centers among the community facilities that is located in the permanent rental apartment housing complex.

When a large-scale load or a new generator is connected to power systems, KPX assesses the effect of the connection on power systems to keep security and reliability standards. As the number of connection requests has been increased, KPX is spending much time for technical assessments of the requests. This paper developed an automatic assessment program to reduce analysis time and enhance simulation accuracy. The program is based on IPLAN and. can be applied to both load and generator network connection requests.

Selection of optimal railway line is taken into consideration include of the purpose of railway, geographical features and facility of management. This study performed opinions of specialists, checking of industrial environment, analysis of bid guideline to select the optimal line and executed AHP method to make quality model and choose weight factors. Therefore, this study executed about six categories which are the efficiency of transportation, facility of planning and construction, economical efficiency, coincidency of planning, the civil appeal and environmental standards, connection with system, and indicated the differences of other method by analyze into specific factors of each categories.

Packing house is the regional center in which packing, sorting, storage, and selling of harvested fruits are taken care of all together. It is located at the producing centers, and commercializes their apples. Apple grading policies of chief producing centers should concentrate on enhancing functions and roles of its local packing house. Consequently new packing house policies for enacting individual grading standards at national and local levels should be developed. This study is to develop Korea packing house on the basis of field survey in New York State. Increasing the utilization of packing house is the main key to the success of apple grading project. Therefore, effective arrangement and utilization of sorting facilities should be evaluated and new system which enables apple farms, local cooperatives, and corporations to joint-utilize packing house must to be established.

The purpose of this study is to find a way to improve damaged forest in rural area in terms of both landscape . quality and regulation. Mountain and forest cover 65% of total land in Korea, and the shortage of areas for developing housing, road and facilities made us to use forest area for above purposes. This led various types of damages on the sensitive rural landscape visually and ecologically. There are rules and regulations for decreasing damaging effect by constructions on forest area, but it was not so effective because theses rules focused on quantitative issues only. This study will consist of three phases, 1. analyse landscape damage types by development tendencies in forest area 2. find diminution plan on each damage types 3. set improvement on rules and regulations both qualitatively and quantitatively. This study will meet the goal of improving and managing rural and forest landscape by providing objective standards, rational procedure and amelioration plan.

Nowadays BIM(Building Information System) is applied to the public construction delivery system. BIM can help communications between project applicants through the extraction of the exact and prompt information. It also increases the efficiency of planning, construction, economic feasibility and maintenance in the whole project. Due to increasing demands of BIM, project evaluation and its process on the final deliverables have been in major interests. Thus, through the analysis of the current BIM project, characteristics, types and applications have been researched. We have discussed completeness, relationship and planning of BIM data, which are the standards of evaluation.

Bootstrap methods is the computer-based resampling method that estimates the standard errors and confidence intervals of summary statistics using the plug-in principle for assessing the accuracy or uncertainty of statistical estimates, and the BCa method among the Bootstrap methods is known much superior to other Bootstrap methods in respect of the standards of statistical validation. Therefore this study suggests the method of the representation and treatment of uncertainty in flood risk assessment and water resources planning from the construction and application of rainfall frequency analysis model considersing the uncertainty based on the nonparametric BCa method among the Bootstrap methods for the assessement of the estimation of probability rainfall and the effect of uncertainty considering the uncertainty of the parameter estimation of probability in the rainfall frequency analysis that is the most fundamental in flood risk assessement and water resources planning.

View From the point of change of the land of the land of the nation. The advancement in the modern civilization has led to building many apartments characterized by high buildings and building complexes due to population concentration into big cities. This tendency not only causes serious problems in terms of city images but also produces considerable discords in the matter of harmonized beauty of the complex itself.At the stage of space planning for the apartment complexes only economic and functional aspects were considered. So in many cases the space, which dose not contribute to environmental improvement which must go in parallel with the quantity increase of apartments and improvements of welfare and living standards of the apartment inhabitants.

Collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment (CPFR) is the most recent successful management initiative that provides supply chain collaboration. By adopting CPFR, companies can dramatically improve the effectiveness of supply chain. The CPFR process has three major sub-processes; planning, forecasting and replenishment, which are formed by a number of steps. Despite the existence of a detailed and comprehensive process model, which is published by the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standards Association, in practice CPFR can take a number of different forms. Therefore, this research suggests that business process management system (BPMS) can be utilized as a base system on which a CPFR is consistently constructed and implemented, regardless of a number of its possible forms. We illustrate how a CPFR protype is implemented by using a BPMS and then describe how the prototype is agilely extended to adopt a variety of changes of CPFR collaboration process.
