로봇운영체제를 이용한 보트의 자율운항 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Autonomous Algorithm for Boat Using Robot Operating System)

  • According to the increasing interest and demand for the Autonomous Surface Vessels (ASV), the autonomous navigation system is being developed such as obstacle detection, avoidance, and path planning. In general, autonomous navigation algorithm controls the ship by detecting the obstacles with various sensors and planning path for collision avoidance. This study aims to construct and prove autonomous algorithm with integrated various sensor using the Robot Operating System (ROS). In this study, the safety zone technique was used to avoid obstacles. The safety zone was selected by an algorithm to determine an obstacle-free area using 2D LiDAR. Then, drift angle of the ship was controlled by the propulsion difference of the port and starboard side that based on PID control. The algorithm performance was verified by participating in the 2020 Korea Autonomous BOAT (KABOAT).

고속선형의 선수운동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Bow Motions of High Speed Vessel in Regular Head Waves)

  • The advanced researches of the ship's motion in the seaway can predict the heaving, pitching and slamming of ship's motion. The researches as of today are that of displacement type such as a small typical fishing boat and U, UV and V bow ship forms under low speed. In recent day, the study of behaviours of high speed planning boat in the regular waves has been carried out by Bessho [5]. The calculation about behaviours of a high speed vessel in the longitudinal regular waves is calculated by Ordinary Strip Method in this paper. The data of the results were discussed and compared with Bessho's results. The conclusions deduced from this study are as follow, (1) The acceleration of motion calculated by the O.S.M. is similar with Bessho's data for the Fn 0.5 (2) The amplitudes of the behaviours of motions take peak at 1.0<λ/L<1.4.

해양레저용 활주형선의 공기저항 및 온실 가스 배출에 대한 연구 (A Study on Air Resistance and Greenhouse Gas Emissions of an Ocean Leisure Planning Boat)

  • 최근 소득증대로 인해 해양레저에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 해양레저용으로 많이 이용되는 활주형선의 선형설계와 생산에 대한 많은 연구 개발이 필요해지고 있다. 지금까지 수행된 활주형선의 저항에 대한 연구를 분석해본 결과 활주형선은 속도가 빠르고 침수표면적이 매우 작기 때문에 일반 선박과는 다른 저항 특성을 가지고 있음을 알게 되었다. 본 연구는 현재 조선소와 추진기 및 엔진 생산업체에서 유효마력 산정에 널리 활용되는 Savitsky공식을 이용하여 연구대상 활주형선의 전저항을 먼저 계산한 후 이론해석과 풍동실험을 통하여 활주형선 주위에 대한 유동특성을 분석하고 속도와 트림각도 변화에 따른 공기저항, 양력 등을 구하였다. 또한 이 결과를 이용하여 전저항에 대한 공기저항의 비율을 속도와 트림각 변화에 대하여 이론해석결과와 실험결과를 비교하고 분석하였으며 본 연구결과는 좀 더 정확한 유효마력 추정에 활용되어 산출근거를 무시하고 막연하게 고마력 엔진을 장착하는 폐단을 막을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 한편 기상 이변으로 인한 자연재해가 증가하면서 온실가스에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 국제해사기구(IMO)에서는 선박의 설계 단계에서 적용되는 에너지 효율 지수(EEDI)와 해상을 운항할 때 적용되는 에너지 효율지수(EEOI)를 제정하여 선박으로부터 배출되는 온실가스를 줄이려 하고 있다. 그러나 이 규정은 총톤수(GT) 400톤 이상의 선박에 적용될 예정이므로 해양레저용 선박과 같은 소형 선박은 대형 선박에 비해 단위 출력 당 온실가스 배출량은 오히려 많지만 이 IMO 규정에 의한 규제를 받지 않는다. 따라서 본 연구는 소형선박인 해양레저용 활주형선의 온실 가스 배출량을 산출함으로써 이에 대한 문제점을 제기하고 소형선박에 적용될 수 EEDI 계산법 제정의 필요성을 제시하였다.

레저보트 생산공정정보 기반의 공장 레이아웃 설계 시스템 개발 (Development of a Factory Layout Design System using Leisure-Boat Building Process)

  • The marine leisure industry in Korea has been the focus of the power of economic growth and the creation of jobs in recent years. In this regard, many studies concerning marine leisure are on-going in various fields. In this paper, developed a layout system and algorithm can resolve the factory and facility layout problem. For a layout design of leisure-boat factories, the leisure-boat production process is analyzed in order to derive standard production space elements for the layout of the factory. Based on the results, a draft design of the factory layout is carried out based on the manpower planning data, as well as the characteristics and relationships of each process data. A layout design of this paper can be verified through a factory simulation solution and we suggest the verification method using a SBD(simulation based design) methodology. The layout system takes into account the user's accessibility and extendibility, so it is web-oriented and uses RIA (rich Internet Application) technology. Furthermore, the system and layout algorithm of this paper are verified with samples data that show the efficient factory arrangement and practical application method.

고속활주형어선의 종방향중심이 저항에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of LCG Variation to the Resistance Performance for High Speed Planing Fishing Boat)

  • 이상에서와 같이 LCG위치에 따른 일련의 실험으로부터 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 1. 선형개발에 있어서 최적선형을 선정하고 이에 대한 성능검증의 일부로써 최적의 LCG위치를 찾는 것은 일반배치의 고려 및 실선에서의 운항 경제성 결정에 중요한 역할을 하며, 이와 같은 연구자료를 데이터 베이스화 함으로써 앞으로의 선형개발에 있어서 유용하게 쓰이게 될 것이다. 2. 저항시험 결과로부터 선미방향으로 LCG위치를 2% 포인트씩 이동하게 되면 서서히 저항이 감소하다가 8%포인트 위치에서 최저점을 이루며 이는 실선속도 25노트에서 초기상태(0%LCG)에 비해 만재상태에서는 약 12.4%, 시운전 상태에서는 약 10%의 저항감소효과가 있었다. 그 이후 (10%LCG)부터는 다시 저항이 증가하게 되는데, 이는 선수트림이 커지게 되면서 선저의 활주면에 과도한 동적 압력이 발생하게 되고, 저항감소의 원인이 되었던 침수표면적의 감소로 인한 마찰저항의 감소보다 동적압력에 의한 압력증가 영향이 더 커지게 된 것으로 추측된다. 3. 나선상태에서보다 스프레이스트립(spray strip) 및 스케그 등과 같은 선형에 적합한 부가물을 부착하면 저항감소 및 직진성능 (course keeping ability) 향상 등의 이점이 있다.   • High speed planning boats also have been required more and more the rational strength analysis and evaluation for the optimal structural design in respect of the structural lightness according to the high speed trend. Even though the suggestion of the simple type equation for the equivalent dynamic pressure is reasonable to design the scantling of ship structure conveniently, many research activities for more reasonable improvement of the simple design pressure, have been continued to suggest the more accurate equivalent static description of tire structural response such as the deflection and stress of hull structure. In this research, we focus on the aluminum bottom stiffened plate structure in which structural scantling is mainly depend on the local loads such as dynamic or impact pressure without other load effects and structural response for the simple dynamic equivalent pressure was investigated through the structural analysis. In order to investigate the structural response of the bottom stiffened plate structure subjected to the dynamic equivalent design pressure, linear and nonlinear structural analysis of the bottom stiffened plate structure of 4.3 ton aluminum planning boat was performed based on the equivalent static applied loads which were derived from the KR regulation and representative one among various dynamic equivalent pressure equations. From above analysis results, we found that the response such as deflection and stress of plate member was similar with the response results of one plate member model with fixed boundary, which was published previous paper and in case of KR design loading, all response of stiffened plate structure were within elastic limit. Through the nonlinear analysis, nearly elastic behavior including the slight geometrical nonlinear response was dominant but plastic local zone was appeared at $85\%$ limit load. Therefore, we can say that through tire linear and nonlinear analysis, this stiffened plate member has no structural strength problem based on the yield criteria in case within $60\%$ limit load except the other strength point of view such as the fatigue and buckling problem.

어메니티자원 분석을 통한 어촌마을의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Revitalize Fishing Villages through the Analysis of Amenity Resources)

  • Among the towns of GyeongJu and SamCheok on which I have surveyed about their amenity resources in 2010, I chose 5 towns that are close to the Eastsea to analyze the data and to devise how to revitalize fishing villages. And the results are as follows. 1. Although Yangbuk-myeon is geographically located to have all the aspects of fishing village, farming village, and mountain village, the resources utilized are mainly that of mountain village. There is need to utilize actively historical amenity resources like Munmudaewangreung of Yangbuk-myeon. 2. The use of amenity resources of Yangnam-myeon is centered on farm and mountain village. But if they utilize amenity resources of fishing villages of Eupcheon-port's neighborhood, it would be a big help for the revitalization of Yangnam-myeon which is depressed. 3. The fishing mackerels on boat of Gampo-eup Jeonchonri is a successful example of utilization of fishing village's amenity resources. However, there is need to utilize amenity resources of farming and mountain villages that are near to Gampo-eup, so it can attract visitors to stay longer. Particularly, the fishing villages of the East coast must develop 4 seasons program connecting the amenity resources of neighboring farm and mountain. 4. Geundeok-myeon is a town where they made the amenity resources of fishing village into tourist attractions. But considering the wide gap between Geundeok-myeon and neighboring fishing, farming and mountain villages that cannot get the advantage of development, there has to be some inducement in policy so every town can be developed evenly. 5. After analyzing how the towns utilize the amenity resources to make them tourist attraction, it is shown that Geundeok-myeon of SamCheok is the best town which is using fishing village's amenity resources well, and Yangnam-myeon and Yangbuk-myeon of GyeongJu are scarcely using them. About types of tourist attraction, the programs with scenic view of fishing village, with water-sport, and with Eco-experience are needed to improved.

거제연안 새우조망 조업구역과 비 조업구역에서의 어획물 특성 (Catches characteristics between fishing area and non-fishing area in the shrimp beam trawl of Geoje waters, Korea)

  • Experimental fishing was carried out to compare and analyze catch characteristics of shrimp beam trawl in a fishing area and a non-fishing area during the period of fishing season and off-fishing season in the coastal waters of Geoje. A commercial fishing boat (4.99 tons) was used for the test fishing. The amount of total catches were 14,654g in the fishing area and 12,359g in the non-fishing area, shrimp catches of non-fishing area were much greater than that of the fishing area during the period of off-fishing season (June and August). However, total catches were 27,670g in the fishing area and 33,004g in the non-fishing area, shrimp catches of fishing area were bigger than that of non-fishing area during the period of fishing season (October and December). On the results of the study, catches characteristics between fishing area and non-fishing area showed the reversed results for the period of fishing season and off-fishing season.

소형선박을 위한 지능형 항해가이딩시스템의 구축 (Building of Intelligent Navigation Guiding System for Small Ships)

  • 최근 우리나라는 선박용도별 해양사고 발생률 중 100톤 미만의 어선 및 소형선박이 차지하는 비중이 72%에 달하고 있다. 그 원인을 살펴보면, 경계, 침로선정, 선위확인등 항해일반원칙의 미준수가 상당부분 차지하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 비교적 고령화되고 운항지식이 적은 소형선박의 항해사에게 안전한 최적항로를 안내해주는 지능형 항해가이딩시스템을 구축한다. 지능형 항해가이딩시스템은 항로계획 프로그램과 항로전송부, GPS Plotter로 구성되어있다. 지능형 항해가이딩시스템을 통해 임의의 위치에서 목표지점까지 최적항로를 언어적으로 안내해주는 유효한 결과를 확인하였다.
