동무(東武)와 노사(蘆沙)의 사상적(思想的) 연계 가능성에 대한 고찰 -이기(理氣)관계를 중심으로- (A discussion on the philosophical associations between Dongmu (東武) and Nosa (蘆沙): an approach based on the Li-Qi (理-氣) theory)

  • 1. Objectives: This study reviews the general theory on Li-Qi (理-氣) found in Dongmu Lee Jema (東武 李濟馬) and Nosa Gi Jeongjin (蘆沙 奇正鎭)'s works and explores the associations between their philosophical systems. 2. Methods: The main ideas on Predisposition (氣稟論) found in Dongmu's works were explored in connection with the Li-Qi (理-氣) theory and compared with the perspectives suggested by Nosa. 3. Results and Conclusions 1) Nosa criticized the "weakened supervision of Li (理)" and the "separation of Li (理) and Qi (氣)", proposing that this problem can be overcome through "mutual embracement of Li and its manifestations (理分圓融 理分相涵)". 2) When Dongmu's theory on Predisposition (氣稟論) is interpreted in terms of Li-Qi (理-氣), the Seong-Li (laws governing the organ scheme) (性理(臟理)) represents the Li (理) while the formational variations in organ scheme(臟局短長) and and the level of self-cultivation (心地淸濁) represents the Qi (氣). 3) The concept of "Diversification of Li (理之異)", bearing similarities to Nosa's Li-Qi (理-氣) theory, was introduced for the first time in Dongmu's theory on Predisposition (氣稟論), which presumably built the fundamental theories in the Sasang Constitutional Typology. 4) Within Dongmu's theory of Predisposition (氣稟論) can be found a dichotomous division of "similitude between the morally unaccomplished and the morally accomplished" in the ontological plane and "dissimilitude between the morally unaccomplished and the morally accomplished" in the axiological plane; this dichotomy is more extensive and developed compared to Nosa's attempt to find a consistent logic in both the ontological and axiological plane through a Li-Qi (理-氣) structure with Li-predominance.

  • In this paper, 2D SUB-3D STM approach for analysis and design of 3D structural concrete is presented. In the approach several 2D sub strut-tie models which are representations of compressive and tensile stress flows of each projected plane of 3D structural concrete are utilized in the sketch of a 3D strut-tie model, in the evaluation of effective strengths of compressive concrete struts, and in the verification of geometric compatibility and bearing capacity of critical nodal zones of 3D strut-tie model. To prove the validity and rationality of the suggested approach, the behavior and strength of a prestressed box girder diaphragm tested to failure are evaluated.

시일의 마멸이 다단 터빈 펌프 동특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Seal Wear on the Rotordynamics of a Multistage Turbine Pump)

  • Rotordynamic analysis of a multistage turbine pump using finite element method is performed to investigate the effects of seal wear on its system behavior. Stiffness and damping coefficents of the 2-axial grooved bearing are obtained as functions of rotating speed. Stiffness and damping coefficients of plane annuler seals are calculated as functions of rotating speed as well as seal clearance of seals become larger, these stiffness and damping coefficients decrease drastically so that there can be significant changes in whirl natural frequencies and damping characteristics of the pump rotor system. Although a pump is designed to operate with a sufficient seperation margin from the 1st critical speed, seal wear due to long operation may cause a sudden increase in vibration amplitude by resonance shift and reduce seal damping capability.

Experimental study on cyclic behavior of reinforced concrete parallel redundancy walls

  • Reinforced concrete (RC) shear walls are one of the most commonly used lateral-load resisting systems in high-rise buildings. RC Parallel redundancy walls studied herein consist of two parts nested to each other. These two parts have different mechanical behaviors and energy dissipation mechanisms. In this paper, experimental studies of four 1/2-scale specimens representing this concept, which are subjected to in-plane cyclic loading, are presented and test results are discussed. Two specimens consist of a wall frame with barbell-shaped walls embedded in it, and the other two consist of a wall frame and braced walls nested each other. The research mainly focuses on the failure mechanism, strength, hysteresis loop, energy dissipation capacity and stiffness of these walls. Results show that the RC parallel redundancy wall is an efficient lateral load resisting component that acts as a "dual" system with good ductility and energy dissipation capacity. One main part absorbs a greater degree of the energy exerted by an earthquake and fails first, whereas the other part can still behave as an independent role in bearing loads after earthquakes.

  • A diagnosis system that provides early warnings regarding machine malfunction is very important for rolling mill so as to avoid great losses resulting from unexpected shutdown of the production line. But it is very difficult to provide early warnings in rolling mill. Because dynamics of rolling mill is non-linear. This paper shows a chaotic behaviour of vibration signal in rolling mill using embedding method. Not only phase plane and Poincare map are implemented but also FFT and histogram of vibration signal in rolling mill is presented by embedding method.

  • Curved beam element has received attention because of its own usefulness and its bearing on general curved elements like shells. In conventional curved beam elements stiffness matrix is overestimated and eigensolutions are poor. To avoid this phenomenon it is necessary to use a large number of elements and, as a result, the total number of degrees of freedom is increased. In this paper the two-noded, with three degrees of freedom at each node, in-plane curvature-based curbed beam element is employed in eigen-analysis of curved beam. It is shown that the curvature-based beam element is very efficient in vibration analysis and also that it is applicable to both thin and thick curved beams.

  • 생산라인의 예기치 않은 운전정지로부터 손실을 피하기 위한 기기의 조기 경보 체제인 고장 진단 시스템은 매우 중요하다. 베어링은 베어링 자체가 비선형이기 때문에 초기에 베어링의 이상 진단을 행한다는 것은 매우 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 압연기 베어링의 상태진단의 변수로 베어링의 진동 신호를 선택하고 이 진동신호에서 비선형성이 강한 신호 즉 카오스적 거동이 있음을 FFT, 타켄스의 매립법과 포엔카레 단면을 이용하여 확인하였다.

후족부 관상면 배열 영상에 대한 고안 (Introduction of Hindfoot Coronal Alignment View)

  • 목 적: 후족부의 병리학적 상태의 치료와 평가를 위해서는 관상면에서 종골과 경골이 연관된 배열상태의 정확한 평가가 필수적이다. 이전의 방사선학적 검사인 발과 발목의 전후방향, 측방향, 사방향 촬영과 종골 축방향 촬영 등의 X-선 촬영상은 관상면에서 종골과 경골이 연관된 배열상태를 증명하지 못했다. 이에 본 연구에서는 후족부 관상면 배열영상(hindfoot coronal alignment view)을 새롭게 소개하고자 한다. 검사방법 : 1) 양쪽 발을 지탱할 수 있는 방사선투과성의 스탠드형 보조기구를 제작한다. 2) 양측 발은 weight-bearing position이 되게 한다. 3) 각각의 발의 위치는 발의 종축이 보조기구 판과 수직이 되도록 자세를 유지한다. 4) silhouette tracing: 발뒷꿈치 outline과 둘째 발가락이 일직선상으로 지나도록 위치시킨다. 5) 중심 X-선: 발바닥 쪽을 향해 약 $15{\sim}20^{\circ}의 각도로 종골의 뒷쪽을 향해 입사한다. 결 과 : 1) 경골 축과 종골의 내측, 외측 결절의 영상이 함께 표출된다. 2) 종골이 회전되지 않아야 한다. 3) 거퇴관절강(talotibial joint space)이 함께 나타나야 한다. 결 론: CT나 MRI 영상에서도 관상면에서 후족부의 배열상태를 증명할 수 있지만, 환자의 체중이 주어지지 않기 때문에 발의 임상적인 증상을 보여주기에는 충분하지 못했다. 하지만 후족부 관상면 배열영상은 후족부의 inversion, eversion의 자세변화를 보여주고, 경골 원위부와 종골의 varus, valgus deformity의 치료를 위한 평가 자료로 좋은 검사방법이며, 비교적 자연스럽고 편안한 자세로 환자에게 큰 도움을 줄 것으로 사료된다.

탈황 흡수탑 유도전동기 베어링 결함 진단을 위한 전류 스펙트럼 해석 (Analysis of Motor-Current Spectrum for Fault Diagnosis of Induction Motor Bearing in Desulfurization Absorber)

  • 본 연구는 석탄화력 탈황설비인 흡수탑 교반기용 유도전동기의 베어링 결함진단을 토대로 전류 스펙트럼 해석이 예측정비 수단으로서 활용할 수 있는지를 논하고자 하였다. 베어링의 교체 전과 후의 전류스펙트럼 해석을 하고 베어링을 육안 점검하여 비교 분석함으로써 실제 발전 산업현장에서 부하운전중인 유도전동기의 베어링의 결함진단을 하였다. 분석 결과, 볼과 외륜의 베어링 결함에 해당하는 주파수성분이 예측한 값으로 검출되었고 전압기준의 진폭크기로 환산하여 베어링 교체하기 전과 후를 비교하면 결함이 진행될 경우 볼 결함에서는 약 2.9배 증가되고 외륜 결함에서는 약 2.24배 증가 되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 같은 결론으로 인위적인 고장요소에 의한 베어링 결함진단 뿐만 아니라 산업현장에서 부하 운전되고 있는 유도전동기의 베어링 결함을 사전에 예측하는데 있어서도 매우 유용하였다.
