Distribution Automation System (DAS) has been designed and implemented for feeder automation using the Paircable, Optical-Fiber, Wireless, TRS as a communication media. KEPCO has been constructed DAS since 1984. We have two types of DAS. one is large-scale DAS for major city in korea, the other is small-scale DAS (or the rest of major city. we are plan to finish small-scale DAS by end of 2001.

This paper proposed outdoor and indoor design concepts of vehicle based on the characteristics of advanced EMU which are safety, efficiency, high technology. Domestic industrial disasters are decreasing, but construction industrial disasters are increasing every year. So this study draw a conclusions from the major types of safety accidents based on disaster intensity analysis to solve the problems caused by increasing construction industry disasters. Also figure out a risk about original cause material to establish management directions which is significant manage things.

불특정다수의 사람들이 이용하는 숙박계시설이며, 자립피난이 곤란한 피난약자에 해당하는 환자 및 노약자, 임산부, 어린이가 대다수 이용하는 병원은 피난안전상 매우 불리한 용도의 건축물이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실재병원의 건립 당시 평면계획과 실재 사용 중 평면을 조사하고, 이를 대상으로 본 연구의 선행연구에서 발표된 피난안전성의 평가법에 적용하여, 병원 평면의 변화에 따른 피난안전성의 변화를 정량적으로 나타내는 것으로, 불가피한 평면의 변경 시에 참고자료로 활용 될 수 있는 근거를 제시 하고자 한다.

Without any doubts, the characteristics of regional, lines and lines section have dominating effects on the railway design of rectification to linear alignment. There are basically many types of characteristics: a) geological condition b) operation plan of lines and lines section c) condition of lines facilities level. The conventional deign method were exclusively used to railway design and construction. However, lot the optimum design, the more detail study are required.

The purpose of this study is to consider the correlational factors of space sections based on the fact the exhibition space plays an important role as a medium of displaying art works. And an another purpose is to investigate the characteristics of various types of exhibition unite space from which In intend to suggest basic sources of exhibition design. I classified domestic and foreign museum which are chosen as objects of study according to form and shape of a section plan. Then comparing exhibition space's form and scale exhibited genre lighting system layout composition display and its correlation with an already established thesis on museum architecture I will infer the characteristics of each type of a space. From these studies proper display conditions requested at the museum are different from the genre and property of the exhibited objects. And lighting system display angel of view and appreciation type affect the exhibition area. The shape of space classifies types of section which cause space's characteristics.

Owing to the mass-housing policies of high-density and high-rise, the residential environments in Korea have come to be uniform and monotonous. Nevertheless, the design competitions introduced for th first time in 1980s have played significant roles in developing the fresh ideas and concepts in housing design. It is important to review the ideas played proposed in competitions until now in order to spread them into other housing developments. In this context, this study classified the types of unit plan and analyzed their design characteristics in the proposals of housing design competitions in 1990s.

Nowaday, for the promotion of producing forest trees, production of excellent timbers, and build-up of public forest area, it is on the increase of the thinning-forest for artificial forest, natural forest, eco-friendly forest, and the forest for development and improvement of forest resources nationwide. Even though the thinning-forest is applied around 180,000ha every year, the quantity of collected/used products is only 18,000ha $(240,000m^3)$ which is 10% of the whole thinning-forest area. Meanwhile, some reports represent that the left products after thinning-forest might increase the severity of forest fire and the waste of resources. Therefore, this study focused on the analysis of correlation between the accumulated products after thinning-forest and forest fire, and providing a preparation plan for the forest fire.

Recently, various building types such as Center-Core shape and Y-shape were studied as the demand for hight-rise residental complex increased. However, Center-Core type can make many Problems because the house unit can face to the north or west. Therefore, this study evaluated daylight conditions for four plan types in high-rise residental complex.
