The domestic game industry has constantly developed in a short time by concentrating on online games, and keeps growing as a highly added value industry. Also, in the social aspect, it has been seeking various alternatives to place online games as positive and new play culture in the digital era by avoiding negative criticism on game addictiveness. One of important factors in expanding the infrastructure of the game industry and developing it as a type of culture is not simply to develop the existing core genres (on the basis of profits), but to promote the approach of mixture with various contents and of positive functions and thereby enlarge users through various game genres. That is, it is to design games with positive themes and easy immersion by targeting a variety of game users. Such expansion of game design approach is a starting point to develop the infrastructure of the game industry. In the aspect, training professional human resources on the basis of academic and educational process is of significance. Therefore, this work was intended to suggest examples of design approach education based on creativity subject among various subjects with positive functions, and then propose an education process to which Capstone design education contents were applied.
The Shindae resting place-Jibong valley forest in Tokyusan area was studied to investigate forest structure in relation to altitude and part of slope. Forty eight quadrats were set up in the valley forest along altitude of 750m to 1,247m and part of the slope. Density of trees in tree strata decreased as increasing elevation, and mean DBH of trees in tree strata increased as increasing elevation. With increasing elevation the importance values of Quercus mongolica, Acer mono, Fraxinus mandshurica increased, while those of Quercus serrate, Betula schmidtii decreased. As going from lower part to upper part of the slope, the importance values of Quercus mongolica and Symplocos chinensis for. pilosa increased while those of Cornus controversa and Fruxinus mandshurica decreased. The number of species, species diversity and evenness tended to decreased as increasing elevation. The range of similarity indices between elevation belts, and parts of the slope were 55.3~67.1% and 36.8~71.7%, respectively. According to importance value and cluster analysis, the studied valley forest was classified into four forest communities of Quercu serrata community of lower part of slope of low elevation belt, Quercus mongolica-Quercus serrata community of middle and upper part of slope of low elevation belt, Quercus mongolica-deciduous tree species community of middle and high elevation belt and Quercus mongolica-Rhododendron schzippinbachii community of the top area.

In this paper, we present the results of research on the reconstruction of ancient routes of ancient civilization exchange that were once present in the North Jeolla region, which was undertaken by adopting a convergent approach to develop 'Silkroadpia', which is an online platform for the curation and sharing of archaeological and historical spatial data, and 'MEPTA(Multiple Evidence Based Path and Territory Finding Algorithm)'. The results of the research make it possible to reconsider the region's historical identity and its important role in facilitating cultural exchange on the Korean Peninsula and in East Asia. The results can also be used to provide the theoretical basis for the government's land planning policies and for the production of cultural contents that can be used for local regeneration. The ancient route associated with the Baekje Restoration Movement, that took place after the fall of Sabi in 660 CE, was the case study examined in this paper, which discusses the academic value of reconstructing the ancient route, as well as its future use in providing cultural contents.
Copper(Cu) as an interconnecting metal layer can replace aluminum (Al) in IC fabrication since Cu has low electrical resistivity, showing high immunity to electromigration compared to Al. However, it is very difficult for copper to be patterned by the dry etching processes. The chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process has been introduced and widely used as the mainstream patterning technique for Cu in the fabrication of deep submicron integrated circuits in light of its capability to reduce surface roughness. But this process leaves a large amount of residues on the wafer surface, which must be removed by the post-CMP cleaning processes. Copper corrosion is one of the critical issues for the copper metallization process. Thus, in order to understand the copper corrosion problems in post-CMP cleaning solutions and study the effects of DC biases and post-CMP cleaning solution concentrations on the Cu film, a constant voltage was supplied at various concentrations, and then the output currents were measured and recorded with time. Most of the cases, the current was steadily decreased (i.e. resistance was increased by the oxidation). In the lowest concentration case only, the current was steadily increased with the scarce fluctuations. The higher the constant supplied DC voltage values, the higher the initial output current and the saturated current values. However the time to be taken for it to be saturated was almost the same for all the DC supplied voltage values. It was indicated that the oxide formation was not dependent on the supplied voltage values and 1 V was more than enough to form the oxide. With applied voltages lower than 3 V combined with any concentration, the perforation through the oxide film rarely took place due to the insufficient driving force (voltage) and the copper oxidation ceased. However, with the voltage higher than 3 V, the copper ions were started to diffuse out through the oxide film and thus made pores to be formed on the oxide surface, causing the current to increase and a part of the exposed copper film inside the pores gets back to be oxidized and the rest of it was remained without any further oxidation, causing the current back to decrease a little bit. With increasing the applied DC bias value, the shorter time to be taken for copper ions to be diffused out through the copper oxide film. From the discussions above, it could be concluded that the oxide film was formed and grown by the copper ion diffusion first and then the reaction with any oxidant in the post-CMP cleaning solution.
During the 1980s, Textile design achieved a remarkable growth in creating aesthetic effect and in establishing its standing by responding to demands of the time effectively and seeking changes proactively. This was a period when Textile design constructed its modern concept as it was attempting a qualitative improvement through advanced technology, high class, and differentiation. The advent of advanced materials through the development of textile engineering, employment of craft techniques to further cultural and artistic orientation, and restoration of decorativeness in pursuit of sensitivity, all these developments of the 1980s contributed to the rise of above characteristics. In this study, attempts are made to grasp the new trend of Textile design during the 1980s and to review diverse methods of aesthetic creation and plastic possibility which this trend presented for the Textile, and thus to recognize the role of Textile design and its importance in a new light. The new trend of Textile design during the 1980s can be summarized as follows: 1) An appreciation of the creative aspect of the Textile. As attempts are made to emphasize visual and sensitive aspects of the medium, Textile tended to become an object of art itself. 2) A new awareness of the representative and plastic capacity of the fiber material. As attempts are made to develope the creative potential of the Textile, representation of the material tended to become more diversified. 3) A recognition of the Textile as a proper means to deliver the spirit of the time. As the medium accommodates and fuses diverse cultures including traditional culture, more emphasis was place on cultural contents of the Textile. In the process of pursuing these changes, Textile design of the 1980s has also contributed to the creation of new values, laying the groundwork for its emergence as an advanced high value-added industry.

The interest of researchers and governments in exploiting tidal energy resources is increasing. Jangjuk strait is a place with high tidal energy density potential and is therefore appropriate for the constructing of a tidal turbine farm. In this study, a numerical approach is presented to evaluate the current flow and power potential in Jangjuk strait with an ADCIRC model. Then, the tidal field characteristics are utilized as input parameters for tidal resource calculation with an in-house program. The 1 MW scale tidal energy converter devices are employed and arranged in 4 layouts to investigate the annual energy yield as well as flow deficit due to the wake ef ect at the surveyed area. The best-performed array generates an annual energy yield up to 12.96 GWh/year (without considering the wake effect); this value is reduced by 0.16 GWh/year when accounting for the energy loss caused by the flow deficit. Moreover, by altering the turbine yaw angle during the flood and ebb tides, the impacts of this factor on the energy extraction are analyzed. This indicates that the turbine array attains the maximum tidal power when the turbine yaw angle is at 346° and 164° (clockwise, to the North) for the spring and neap tide in turns.

The objective of this study is to evaluate the preference and visual characteristic of users according to the location of benches at urban community parks. The types of benches are separated into four patterns and located in four representative places at urban community parks. Each relations between visual preference and adjective related factors are calibrated by the estimated results of Pearson correlation coefficient. Moreover, the factors which affect the visual preference are obtained by multiple regression analysis and to calibrate the each factors significant level, the method of multivariate variance analysis is applied. The results of this study are summzrized as belows: 1. Four types of factors which consist the visual characteristic are classified as emotional factor of visual images(aesthetic factor(F1), texture related factor(F2)) and physical factor(physical factor(F3), transformable factor(F4)). Each factor's eigenvalue is appears as 5.27∼1.78 and the eigenvalue of emotional factor of visual images is more higher than the physical factor. 2. The correlation coefficient between visual preference according to the location of benches(X21) and aesthetic factor(f1) is estimated as 0.79, which is highest value among the four factors. And the correlation coefficient of texture related factor(f2), physical factor(F3) and transformable factor(F4) is estimated as 0.14, 0.04 and 0.08 respectively. 3. The visual preference of users according to the location of benches is greatly affected by the emotional factor of visual images(F1, F2) and the physical factor(F3, F4) are poorly related. The results of this study suggest the effective guidelines for the location of leisure facilities. Moreover the design and planning of leisure facilities at the urban community park have to be reexamined. What must be examined from now on is as follows: First, the preference research of rest facilities in the urban park through the multiple approach must be carried out continuously. Second, the research about the visual quality of the environmental sight observed in sitting on the bench as well as the visual quality of the showed object and place needs to be supported. Nevertheless, through this study the utilization into the useful data of the plan and the design for the systematic disposition of landscape architecture equipments centered on the users can be expected.

The proximities of Cheonggye creek was a maj or space for the gathering of large populations from the past times and it is also a place containing the joy, anger, sorrow, pleasure and lives of the citizens. The Cheonggye creek which flowed downtown of Seoul throughout many historical events had disappeared into history completely in the modernization process due to the contamination with life sewages and overflow. However, the city authority of Seoul decided to restore it to its shape before covering the creek by means of dismantling the old elevated ways in Cheonggye creek in line with the Large Scale City Movement Project to revive the grey city and to improve the quality of the city landscape in 2002. The cultural space was created by activating the old town sphere in Cheonggye Creek and the amenities of the giant city was improved by the cultural and natural wave created along the creek. In addition, the educational opportunity has been provided to the citizens by means of reviving its historical nature. The design and cultural value of the Cheonggye Plaza were restored for the mean time and the urban environment requested during modem times was established. The Cheonggye Plaza which heightened the balanced development in Seoul which has been developed in an unbalanced way by dividing into northern and southern area of the river is very meaningful in the viewpoint of the landscape architect who designs the urban space. The re-birth as a cultural space of downtown owing to the efforts of the said cultural catalysts is meaningful.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the 'identity' found in constructional characteristics of Geumgok Hongneung, the first imperial tomb of Korean empire. In terms of "sameness", which states for internal self-cognition among ambivalent situations while consisting identity, Hongneung inherited the prosperity of the Chosun dynasty, possessed 'sustainability' related to Cheongryangri Hongneung of Empress Myeongseong, as well as revealed various 'identitification' of situations in order to expose self-esteem as emperor and imperial nations. On the other hand, in terms of "individuality" as an external self-cognition, the opposite phase of sameness, Hongneung is a mixture of the will of Emperor Gojong and Japanese intervention hence formed 5th styles of royal tombs through 'peculiarity' which distinguishes it from the original tradition. In addition, the value of Hongneung is that it actually reflects the confusing and difficult times of the old ages, and it also involves 'excellence' as the place of the according a state funeral of Emperor Gojong and provoking March First Independence Movement. Thus, Geumgok Hongneung is a recorded landscape that clearly reflects the times of royal tombs of the Chosun dynasty, the world cultural heritage, and also the historic landscape showing extraordinary landscape of unique characteristics, 'Hwangjereung'.

We analyzed the physical and chemical properties such as proximate analysis, ultimate analysis, heating values, thermogravimetric analysis, and combustion test for the organic sludge discharged from chemical and petrochemical product manufacturing industries in the industrial complex. The average combustible and ash content of organic sludges from chemical and petrochemical product manufacturing industries were 17.42%, 7.45%, and 18.25%, 4.22%, respectively. The C, H, O, N, and S compositions for chemical and petrochemical product manufacturing industries were 33.06, 4.34, 24.81, 5.18, and 0.72%. And those compositions for petrochemical product manufacturing industries were 36.58, 4.74, 26.79, 5.09, and 0.49%, respectively. From the TGA test, the minimum temperature for combustion of the sludge discharged from B company was $700^{\circ}C$ for direct use for energy and 2 sludges(F and N companies) were about $600^{\circ}C$. According to the basic combustion test, high concentration of CO was formed because oxidation and pyrolysis reaction take place in the batch type reactor at the same time. From this phenomena we could obtain the significant data for the overheating and breakage of furnace.
