피팅용 프레스 포밍 파이프 성형 모델 선정 및 검증 (Selection and Verification of Press Forming Pipe Model using Pipefitting)

  • This paper describes the design of a forged fitting form to acquire a method of product design measurement by target measurement standards. The pipefitting connects each pipe and combines seals and nipples with the pipes normally. Therefore, the section combined with the fitting pipe was measured by a 3D scanner, and the acquired measurement and the design measurement were obtained after modification of the forged fitting pipe by that standard. Moreover, the accuracy of the model was verified through leakage testing of the oil and verification of the design measurement for accuracy decisions on the design measurement after modification of the product.

초음파의 매질 투과성을 이용한 시추공 케이싱 배면의 암상 및 절리구조 조사 연구 (Use of Ultrasonic beam transmissivity for investigating the structural features in plastic pipe cased borehole)

  • Boreholes that are drilled in soft or unconsolidated materials such as gravels and coals are prone to collapse. To maintain the hole, some kinds of casing pipes are needed. If thereby a plastic pipe e.g. PVC is used for the casing, Televiewer tool is still capable of detecting structural features such as fractures in the borehole wall behind the pipe, whereas other borehole-imaging logging devices such as BIPS (Borehole Image Processing System) and FMS(Formation Micro Scanner) won't provide any information about that. Televiewer's primary component is a piezoelectric transducer centered in the hole. It acts as both a transmitter and receiver, and sends an ultrasonic beam. That is reflected, in the same manner as the seismic wave propagation, from the both sides(inner and outer surfaces) of the casing pipe, transmits through the pipe and then reflected from the borehole wall. With an appropriate choice of time-windowing, it is possible to capture the returning signals from both the borehole wall and the outer side of casing pipe as well. A suite of laboratory tests were performed on various physical models composed of plastic pipes with different diameters. Although the amplitudes of returning signals were reduced to about half the usual value due to the transmission loss, the dynamic range of Televiewer tool was sufficient to observe the structural features behind the casing pipe. Besides, several representative case studies at various research areas in our country are presented. The results demonstrate the usefulness of the transmissivity of Televiewer acoustic km, which will assist in further structural interpretation.

구조안전진단에서의 3D 레이저 스캐너 투입 성과 분석 (Analysis of 3D Laser Scanner Input Performance in Structual Safety Diagnosis)

  • This study quantitatively analyzes the work performance of the structural safety diagnosis team that diagnoses pipe racks. To this end, a method for evaluating the performance of the structural safety diagnosis team using the queuing model was proposed. For verification, the case of applying the existing method and the method of introducing a 3D laser scanner for one site was used. The period, number of people, and initial investment cost of each project were collected through interviews with case project experts. As a result of analyzing the performance of the structural safety diagnosis team using the queuing model, it was possible to confirm the probability of delay in the work of each project and the amount of delayed work. Through this, the cost (standby cost) when the project was delayed was analyzed. Finally, economic analysis was conducted in consideration of the waiting cost, labor cost, and initial investment cost. The results of this study can be used to decide whether to introduce 3D laser scanners.

레이저 변위 센서를 활용한 배관 표면 상태분류 (Classification of the Rusting State of Pipe Using a Laser Displacement Sensor)

  • Although pipe performs various functions in industrial sites and residential spaces, if it is damaged due to corrosion caused by the external environment, it may cause equipment failure or a major accident. For this reason, various studies for safety management are being conducted, but studies on detecting corrosion or cracks on the pipe surface using a laser displacement sensor have hardly been conducted. Therefore, in this study, the corrosion degree of the pipe surface was compared and classified into 4 corrosion conditions, and inspection equipment using a laser scanner was manufactured. The corrosion height was calculated from the four surface data obtained from the measuring equipment and applied to various CNN algorithms, and 91% accuracy was obtained during training using the Modified VGGNet16 code with reduced number of parameters.

배관 용접부 초음파검사 시스템 개발 (Development of Ultrasonic Testing System for Piping Welds)

  • 원자력 발전소 설비의 건전성 확인을 위해서 주기적일 초음파탐상검사가 수행되고 있다. 수동 초음파탐상검사는 검사자의 경험 및 현장여건에 따라 균일한 검사 품질에 영향을 주게 되나, 자동 초음파탐상검사는 스캐너의 적용으로 검사 결과의 일관성을 유지하고, 디스크에 저장된 검사결과는 제3자에 의한 검토가 가능하다. 국내 원자력발전소에서 사용 중인 상용 초음파검사 시스템은 장비 구매, 교육 및 교정 등을 해외에 의존하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 초음파 하드웨어, 배관 스캐너 및 초음파검사 프로그램(SonicWizard)으로 구성된 초음파검사 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템의 검증을 위해 원전 배관 용접부의 자동 초음파검사 기량검증을 응시하여 인증을 획득하였으며, 현장 배관 감육 자동 초음파검사를 수행하여 정확한 감육상태를 확인함으로써 개발된 자동 초음파검사 시스템의 유효성을 확인하였다.

레이저 용접 로봇의 경로 생성에 관한 연구 (Study on Path Generation for Laser Welding Robot)

  • Robot path generation and laser welding technology for manufacturing automotive body are studied. Laser welding and industrial robot systems are used with the robot based laser welding system. The laser system used in this study is 1.6kW Fiber laser, while the robot system is 6 axes Industrial robot (payload: 130kg). The robot based laser welding system is equipped with laser scanner system for remote laser welding. The laser source, robot and laser scanner system are used to increase the processing speed and to improve the process efficiency. The welding joints of steel plate are butt and lapped joints. The quality test of the laser welding are through the observation the shape of bead on plate and cross-section of welding part. The 3 dimensional laser welding for non-linear pipe welding line is performed. This paper introduces the robot based laser welding system to resolve the limited welding speed and accuracy of the conventional spot welding system.

Random Sample Consensus를 이용한 포인트 클라우드 실린더 형태 매칭 (Matching for Cylinder Shape in Point Cloud Using Random Sample Consensus)

  • 포인트 클라우드 데이터는 어떠한 형태를 표현하기 위해 무수히 많은 점들을 갖는 데이터 집합으로 특정 벡터 시스템에서 표현될 수 있으며, 일반적으로 3차원 좌표 공간에서 다양한 특성을 갖게 된다. 본 논문은 3차원 좌표 시스템의 포인트 클라우드에서 기존 방법(Hough Transform)보다 빠른 실린더 형태의 파이프 추정을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 비교적 빠른 RANdom SAmple Consensus(RANSAC)를 사용한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 실린더 형태의 파이프 추정은 두 가지 형태의 수학적 모델을 근거로 파라미터를 계산하고, 결과를 조합하여 예측한다. 두 가지 수학적 모델은 구(Sphere)와 직선(Line)이며, RANSAC 적합을 통해 실린더의 축과 반지름이 될 수 있는 구의 파라미터(중심과 반지름)를 계산하고, 이를 직선화하여 실린더를 추정한다. 이는 법선 추정(Normal Estimation) 및 분할(Segmentation) 없이 비교적 정확도를 유지하며, 빠르게 실린더 매칭을 할 수 있게 한다. 빠른 실린더 매칭은 실시간 파이프 추정이 필요한 레이저 스캐닝 및 건설 역설계 분야에서 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

클러스터링 알고리즘을 이용한 배관의 부식 상태 분류 (State Classification of the Corrosion of Pipes Using a Clustering Algorithm)

  • Pipes transport and supply fuel in various categories; however, corrosion occurs because of the external environment, impurities are mixed in the fuel, and substances leak to the outside, which can lead to serious accidents. Therefore, in this study, inspection equipment using a laser scanner was manufactured to classify conditions according to the degree of corrosion of the outer wall of the pipe, and the corrosion height and maximum value of the pipe were obtained from the surface information. Using the k-means method, it was classified into four states, and the standard of the average height and maximum height of corrosion for each state was derived.

  • 부식된 관로의 상태를 평가하기 위해서 수행하는 직접평가 중 인장 실험을 수행하였다. 부식된 관로에서 절삭 가공하여 인장 시편을 취득하면, 관로의 관경에 따라 곡률이 변화하고 실제 평평한 시편의 거동과 달라질 수 있어 이를 확인하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 시편의 전 영역이 평평한 경우, 곡률이 있는 경우 그리고 시편에 곡률이 존재하면서 그립 부분만 평평하게 가공한 경우에 대해서 부식이 없는 경우와 부식이 존재하는 경우(두께 대비 25, 50 %의 단일 부식)로 나누어 해석을 진행하였다. 부식이 존재하게 되면 응력 집중이 단면 감소부에서 확실하게 나타나 그립의 가공 여부가 시편의 인장거동에 영향을 거의 주지 않는다는 것을 해석을 통해 확인하였다. 또한 실제 부식이 있는 시편에 대하여 3D 스캔을 진행하고 이를 반영한 해석 모델을 만들어 실험 결과와 비교 분석하였다.

선택적 환원촉매(SCR)장치에서 배기관내에 분사된 환원제 분포에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Distribution of Injected Urea into the Exhaust Pipe in a SCR System)

  • This research focused on the spray and distribution characteristics of urea solution by applying flow visualization techniques and did durability and driver test on injectors as well. The spray characteristics of urea solution was observed by CCD camera. Also, the distribution characteristics of urea solution was evaluated quantitatively as well by using 3D laser scanner equipment. It was considered that it was reasonable to use the injector for gasoline engine in order to inject the urea. The best distribution chart result was observed near 45cm distance difference between catalyst and urea spray injector. As a result of trapped urea distribution chart analysis, optimal pressure and volumetric flow rates of air and urea were derived in order to improve the distribution of Urea. This information may contribute to provide fundamental data in the future.
