  • Inverse pinch 스위치는 기존 스위치와 달리 전극의 손상을 줄이기 위해 나선형 전극형태로 제작하였다. 이 스위치는 전기적 트리거 펄스전압을 인가하여 동작시키며, 본 연구의 실험결과 전극간에 발생되는 아크확산 및 전류이동 때문에 전극수명이 길고, 대전류에도 견디기 때문에 펄스파워 시스템에 사용할 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.

색채자극이 악력 및 파지력에 미치는 영향 (Possible Effects of Color Stimuli on Grip and Pinch Strength)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of color stimuli on the grip power and the pinch power. Methods : For this experimental study, total 59 healthy college students, who were divided into Red color group and Green color group. Each group was assessed before and after color stimuli(10minutes). Subjects were for using standardized positioning with shoulder adducted and neutrally rotated, elbow flexed at 90 degree and the forearm and wrist in neutral position. Results : All the two groups showed significant differences in the variation of grip power and pinch power under color stimuli(P>.05) but there was no significant variation in grip power and pinch power among groups. Conclusion : This study precedes following study which is focused on the proposal of suitable or appropriate color circumstance for treatment room. Further studies are need with more subjects on long-term outcome.

홀센서를 이용한 파워 윈도우용 안티핀치 시스템 (Anti-Pinch System for Power Window by Using Hall Sensor)

  • Recently the power window system is widely used in automobiles to increase convenience of passengers and drivers. However some accidents or injuries have been caused by malfunction or misusage of the system. Therefore safety regulations of the system to cope up with these accidents have been strengthened gradually in many countries. Especially in America, since 2005, all vehicles which had power window system should be contented with FMVSS 118-S5 regulations. We suggest very low-cost anti-pinch window control system satisfying the regulation in this paper. Hall sensors are used and installed around a motor rotor with ring magnet to detect motor speed for anti-pinch. The optimum number of hall sensor and location angel of them are mainly investigated to get sufficient speed resolution for anti-pinch. Through some experiments, the validity of the suggested system was verified to satisfy the regulation.

전류정보 기반의 파워 윈도우용 안티핀치 시스템의 전류 임계값 자동 설정 및 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis and Automatic Configuration of Threshold on Anti-Pinch System Based on Current Information for Power Windows)

  • This paper deals with anti-pinch system based on current information which prevents some risks for trapping, squeezing or injury to people in smart window on vehicles. Automatic configuration of current threshold is suggested to recognize pinch states in the current based anti-pinch system. Also, some factors affecting to the squeezing force were analyzed by some experimental results and simulations. The validity of the suggested system was verified to satisfy the strengthened American safety regulation, FMVSS 118-S5, through some experimental results.

팔꿉관절과 손목관절 각도가 쥐는 힘과 집는 힘에 미치는 영향 (The Effect on Grip and Pinch Strength with Elbow and Wrist Angle)

  • The purpose of this study were to determine the effect on grip and pinch strength with elbow and wrist angle change. 112 college students, 88 males, and 24 females aged 19 to 34 years, participated in the study. A Grip and pinch strength was measured in two elbow position($0^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$) and three wrist position($80^{\circ},\;0^{\circ},\;23^{\circ}$). The data were analyzed by mean and deviation, and t-test using the PC/SAS system. These results were obtained as follows; 1. There was a more strength grip and pinch power in $0^{\circ}$ than $90^{\circ}$ elbow flexion at three wrist angle. 2. There was a significant high grip and pinch strength in $23^{\circ}$ dorsiflexion among three wrist angle(p<0.01). 3. The grip and pinch strength power was measured higher in male than female every elbow and wrist angle(p<0.01).

알파파 음악과 미술 감상이 손 기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of $\alpha$-Wave Music and Art Appreciation on Hand Function)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of $\alpha$-wave music and art appreciation on hand function. Methods: A total of 22 university students participated in this study (10 males and 12 females). Twelve subjects received $\alpha$-wave music and art appreciation. The other subjects received neither. All subjects were assessed for hand function (manual dexterity, power grip, pinch, lateral pinch, tactile sense) using a Purdue pegboard, dynamometer, pinch gauge, and Semmes-Weinstein monofilament wire. The data were analyzed using paired and independent t-tests. Results: The results were as follows: 1. In the experimental group, manual dexterity and tactile sense were significantly increased between pre- and post-intervention (p<0.05). Within the control group, manual dexterity and power grip were significantly increased between pre- and post-test (p<0.05). 2. With regard to dexterity and tactile sense, the experimental group experienced a significant post-intervention increase compared to the control group (p<0.05). There was no significant difference in power grip, pinch, or lateral pinch changes between the two groups (p>0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study show that $\alpha$-wave music and art appreciation affect hand function with regard to manual dexterity and tactile sense.

방아쇠수지가 손목터널증후군 환자의 악력, 통증 및 상지기능에 미치는 영향: 단면적 연구 (Effect of Trigger Finger on Pain, Grip Strength and Function of Upper Limb of Patients with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: A Cross-sectional Study)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of trigger finger on pain, muscle strength and function in carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) patients. METHODS: A total of 60 subjects (30 carpal tunnel syndrome with trigger finger and 30 carpal tunnel syndrome without trigger finger) were assessment for pain, muscle strength (power grip, key pinch , tip to tip pinch, three jaw pinch) and function. The effect sizes of the two groups were compared, and the correlation between the trigger finger and each variable was analyzed. RESULTS: The results showed that there were significantly difference in the pain, muscle strength excluding three jaw pinch and function (p < .05). The results also showed correlation between trigger finger and pain (r = .552), muscle strength excluding three jaw pinch (power grip r = -.296, key pinch r = -.260, tip to tip pinch r = -.285), and function (r = .375). The function of carpal tunnel syndrome patients was related to pain (r = .550) and power grips (r = -.324) of muscle strength. CONCLUSION: In carpal tunnel syndrome patients with trigger finger compared to carpal tunnel syndrome, muscle weakness, pain increase, and function reduction were shown. In addition, trigger finger are correlated with muscle strength, pain and function, and muscle weakness and increased pain affect the daily living of carpal tunnel syndrome patients with triggers finger. Therefore, physical therapy interventions of carpal tunnel syndrome patients with trigger finger should be combined with treatment for muscle strength enhancement as well as pain reduction.

  • Closing switch, key component of pulsed power system, is constructed simply and used frequently due to the easy control and manufacture of one. The kind of one are spark-gap, triggered vacuum switch, pseudo-spark switch and INPIStron. But the electrode of spark gap switch is damaged with the hot spot by Z-pinch and then the life of one become short. INPIStron with inverse pinch effect has long life but it is difficult trigger system to provide uniform discharge between cathode and anode. In this paper, the design and manufacturing of INPIStron with gas puffing trigger method in order to supply uniform discharge inter-electrode and the performance of the developed INPIStron applied to 500[kA]-2[MJ] pulsed power system is presented.

손 기능에 관한 고찰 (A Review of Hand Function)

  • The purpose of study to know hand function in order to prevent disability or handicap. The ability to perform precise refined movements of hand is an important human function. Improvement in object manipulation is common goal of therapist. The ability to manipulate an object in the hand is need for many functional tasks, including writing, handling coins, small objects and ADL skills. Therapists have commonly used hand grip and pinch strengths as baseline measures to evaluate hand function. The patterns of grasps are precision grasp, power grasp, hook grasp, spherical grasp, sylindrical grasp, disc grasp, pinch, three point pinch and tip pinch. And the motion of in-manipulation are finger to palm translation, palm to finger, shift, simple rotation and complex rotation. The hand function are include to evaluate of ROM, sensation, muscle strength of hand. It used to evaluate of decision of effect and suppose of disability and acceptance of vocation. Good evaluation is need to pretreatment and baseline of treatment and help to evaluate of effect on treatment.

열교환기망과 열시스템과의 최적 합성에 관한 연구 (A study on the optimal integration of heat exchanger network and heat system)

  • Exergy analysis is widely used in energy system analysis for more efficient energy use. Pinch technology has focused on chemical plants, such as pure heat exchanger networks. In this study, the objective is to seek more effective means with integrating above two methods. In order to demonstrate effective result and to prove possibility for pinch analysis, the steam turbine is adopted to make heat recovery in the heat exchanger network. Three cases are introduced using the integration of exergy and pinch analysis. The standard steam turbine utility is the base case, and adding the heat pump to this system is the second case. The third case is the system with the heat pump and minimum utilities. The results show that the output power of steam turbine in the case(2) and case(3) are increased up to 42% and 46%, respectively, compared with that of base case.
