조종사 비행훈련 성패예측모형 구축을 위한 중요변수 선정 (Selection of Important Variables in the Classification Model for Successful Flight Training)

  • The main purpose of this paper is cost reduction in absurd pilot positive expense and human accident prevention which is caused by in the pilot selection process. We use classification models such as logistic regression, decision tree, and neural network based on aptitude test results of 505 ROK Air Force applicants in 2001~2004. First, we determine the reliability and propriety against the aptitude test system which has been improved. Based on this conference flight simulator test item was compared to the new aptitude test item in order to make additional yes or no decision from different models in terms of classification accuracy, ROC and Response Threshold side. Decision tree was selected as the most efficient for each sequential flight training result and the last flight training results predict excellent. Therefore, we propose that the standard of pilot selection be adopted by the decision tree and it presents in the aptitude test item which is new a conference flight simulator test.

2012년 첩약 건강보험 급여화 시범사업 정책 결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the policy decision-making for the pilot project of herbal decoctions coverage in the National Health Insurance in 2012)

  • Backgrounds : To reduce the patients' economic burden of herbal decoctions use, in 2012, Korean government decided to implement the pilot project of herbal decoctions coverage in the National Health Insurance. Objectives : This study aimed to analyze the policy decision-making process for the pilot insurance project in 2012. Methods : Official documents, research papers, statistical reports, and news articles, etc. on the coverage of herbal decoctions were searched and collected. We used the Kingdon's Policy Stream Model to analyze how the policy of pilot project of herbal decoctions coverage was decided, and who were the main activists for the decision-making process. Results : Components to be included in the 'Problem stream' were the decline in the profits of Korean Medicine institutions, the contraction of the herbal decoctions use, and the fiscal surplus of National Health Insurance. In the 'Policy stream', there were several model studies for herbal decoctions coverage, and examples of herbal benefits in other social insurances. In the 'Political stream', there were the legislative initiatives by member of the National Assembly and the promotion of insurance coverage by the Association of Korean Medicine(AKOM), etc. Policy window for herbal decoctions coverage was opened by the combination of these three streams with the efforts of policy activists, such as the executives of AKOM, and policy researchers. Conclusions : The policy decision process for health insurance coverage of herbal decoctions was analyzed using Kingdon's model, and the analysis shows that the combination of political streams and entrepreneurs' competencies can be an important driving force in policy decision making.

무인항공기 운항의 배속 시뮬레이션을 위한 조종사 의사결정 모델 연구 (Research on Pilot Decision Model for the Fast-Time Simulation of UAS Operation)

  • 무인항공기의 운항에 필수적인 탐지 회피 시스템은 침입기를 감지하여 위험을 벗어나는 데에 필요한 선회 또는 상승/하강 기동의 범위를 제시하여 준다. 본 연구에서는 탐지 회피 알고리즘으로 NASA에서 개발한 DAIDALUS (detect and avoid alerting logic for unmanned systems)를 활용하였다. DAIDALUS는 회피 기동의 범위만을 보여주기 때문에, 실제로 기동의 정도와 방향, 그리고 회피 후 원래 경로나 임무로 복귀하는 시점은 무인항공기 조종사의 결정 사항이다. 이는 실제로 조종사가 개입하는 실시간 HiTL(human-in-the loop) 시뮬레이션에서는 유용하나, 조종사의 개입 없이 시뮬레이션을 진행해야 하는 배속 시뮬레이션에서는 조종사의 의사결정 모델이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 DAIDALUS 결과를 바탕으로 기동하는 조종사의 의사결정 모델을 제시하고 이를 RTCA (radio technical commission for aeronautics) MOPS (minimum operational performance standards)에서 제시하는 표준 조우 벡터를 이용하여 검증하였다. 조우 형상에 따라 최대 위험도가 달라지지만, loss of well clear 상황은 발생하지 않았다. 이러한 모델은 무인항공기가 포함된 대규모 교통량에 대한 배속 시뮬레이션에서 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

단계별 비행훈련 성패 예측 모형의 성능 비교 연구 (Comparison of Classification Models for Sequential Flight Test Results)

  • The main purpose of this paper is to present selection criteria for ROK Airforce pilot training candidates in order to save costs involved in sequential pilot training. We use classification models such Decision Tree, Logistic Regression and Neural Network based on aptitude test results of 288 ROK Air Force applicants in 1994-1996. Different models are compared in terms of classification accuracy, ROC and Lift-value. Neural network is evaluated as the best model for each sequential flight test result while Logistic regression model outperforms the rest of them for discriminating the last flight test result. Therefore we suggest a pilot selection criterion based on this logistic regression. Overall. we find that the factors such as Attention Sharing, Speed Tracking, Machine Comprehension and Instrument Reading Ability having significant effects on the flight results. We expect that the use of our criteria can increase the effectiveness of flight resources.

머신러닝을 활용한 세라믹 정밀여과 파일럿 플랜트의 파울링 조기 경보 방법 (An early fouling alarm method for a ceramic microfiltration pilot plant using machine learning)

  • Fouling is an inevitable problem in membrane water treatment plant. It can be measured by trans-membrane pressure (TMP) in the constant flux operation, and chemical cleaning is carried out when TMP reaches a critical value. An early fouilng alarm is defined as warning the critical TMP value appearance in advance. The alarming method was developed using one of machine learning algorithms, decision tree, and applied to a ceramic microfiltration (MF) pilot plant. First, the decision tree model that classifies the normal/abnormal state of the filtration cycle of the ceramic MF pilot plant was developed and it was then used to make the early fouling alarm method. The accuracy of the classification model was up to 96.2% and the time for the early warning was when abnormal cycles occurred three times in a row. The early fouling alram can expect reaching a limit TMP in advance (e.g., 15-174 hours). By adopting TMP increasing rate and backwash efficiency as machine learning variables, the model accuracy and the reliability of the early fouling alarm method were increased, respectively.

공간적 의사결정을 위한 공간 데이터 웨어하우스 설계 및 활용 (A Design and Practical Use of Spatial Data Warehouse for Spatiall Decision Making)

  • 본 연구는 대용량의 공간자료에서 의미 있는 지식을 탐색 및 발견하고, 인터넷 환경에서 공간적 의사결정과정을 지원하기 위한 방안을 설계하였다. 그리고 설계를 기반으로 실험적 원형 시스템(Pilot Tested System)을 구현하여 의사결정자와 분석가 사이에서 특정주제에 적합한 다차원적 분석을 위해 양방향 통신이 가능하도록 공간 데이터 웨어하우스의 눈송이 스키마모델(snowflake schema model)을 활용하였다. 눈송이 스키마는 공간자료와 연계할 경우 기존 스타 스키마모델(star schema model)보다 확장성과 유연성이 뛰어난 분석중심의 설계방안이다. 또한 눈송이 스키마모델의 평가를 위해 백화점 거래사례를 통해 실험적 시스템을 구현하여 평가하였다. 이 시스템의 목적은 목표마케팅 지역설정이며, 의사결정자와 분석가의 양방향통신이 가능한 인터넷상담시스템이다.

연판정 하이브리드 PN 코드 동기 획득 기법 (Hybrid PN Code Search with Soft-decision Technique)

  • 본 논문에서는 파일롯 채널(pilot channel)이 존재하는 직접확산 코드분할 다중접속 방식(DS-CDMA)에서 PN 코드의 초기 동기획득 성능을 개선하기 위해 연판정 기법을 사용하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 연판정 기법을 하이브리드 동기획득 알고리듬에 적용하고, 평균 동기획득 시간 측면에서 분석한다. 분석을 위해, 제안된 방식의 수학적 모델을 제시하고, IMT-2000 채널모델에서 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 수식적인 분석 결과, 제안된 방식이 한 쌍의 임계치를 사용하는 기존 방식에 비해 평균 동기획득 시간에서 약 0.2초 내지 0.4초 정도의 성능향상을 가져오는 것을 보여준다. 이것은 연판정 기법이 기존의 경판정 기법의 사용으로 인한 성능열화를 보상함으로써 생기는 이득이라고 볼 수 있다.

  • 건설프로젝트에서 발생하는 정보의 양이 방대해짐에 따라 프로젝트 관리에 있어서 정보시스템의 역할이 점점 커지고 있다. 최근 건설프로젝트관리를 위한 효율적 의사결정 지원도구인 PMIS (건설사업관리정보시스템)가 다양한 프로젝트에 적용되고 있으나 그 활용정도가 저조한 실정이때 보다 효율적으로 프로젝트를 관리할 수 있는 시스템 개발이 요구되고 있다. 건설정보화의 발전단계 측면에서 살펴보면 2D 기반에서 3D 기반으로, 최근에는 BIM 기술로 발전되어 가고 있으며 BIM기술을 접목한 PMIS의 개발이 연구대상으로 부상하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 BIM 기술기반의 PMIS 개발을 위한 Pilot Test 모델을 제시하고 그 활용성을 검토하기 위한 프로세스를 제시하여 향후 BIM 기반의 PMIS 발전방향을 모색하고자 한다.

INTEGRATED CONSTRUCTION PROJECT PLANNING USING 3D INFORMATION MODELS

  • Although the evolution and deployment of information technologies will undoubtedly play an important role in the current construction industry, many engineers are still unsure of the economic value of using these technologies. Especially for the planning of a construction project, a collaboration system to utilize the whole resources is a essential tool for the successful outcome. A detailed, authoritative, and readily accessible information model is needed to enable engineers to make cost-effective decisions among established and innovative plan alternatives. Most engineers rely on limited private experiences when they create solutions or design alternatives. Initial planning is crucial for the success of the construction project. Most construction projects are done through collaboration of engineers who have different specialized knowledge. Information technologies can dramatically enhance the performance of the collaboration. For the information delivery, we need a mediator between engineers. Object-based 3-D models are useful for the communication and decision assistance for the intelligent project design. In this paper, basic guidelines for the 3-D design according to different construction processes are suggested. Adequate interoperability of 3-D objects from any CAD system is essential for the collaboration. Basic architectures of geometry models and their information layer were established to enable interoperability for design checks, estimation and simulation. A typical international project for roadway was chosen for the pilot project. 3-D GIS model was created and bridge information models were created considering several requirements for planning and decision making of the project. From the pilot test, the integrated construction project planning using 3-D information models was discussed and several guidelines were suggested.
