항공기의 고도, 속도 및 깊은 실속의 회복을 위한 자동회복장치 설계 및 검증에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design and Validation of Automatic Pitch Rocker System for Altitude, Speed and Deep Stall Recovery)

  • Modem version of supersonic jet fighter aircraft must have been guaranteed appropriate controllability and stability in HAoA(High Angle of Attack). The HAoA flight control law have two parts, one is control law of departure prevention and the other is control law of departure recovery support. The control laws of departure prevention for advanced jet trainer consist of HAoA limiter, roll command limiter and rudder fader. The control laws of departure recovery support are consist of yaw-rate limiter and MPO(Manual Pitch Override) mode. The guideline of pitch rocking using MPO mode is simple, but operating skill of pitch rocking is very difficult by the pilot with inexperience of departure situation. Therefore, automatic deep stall recovery system is necessary. The system called the "Automatic Pitch Rocker System" or APRS, provided a pilot initiated automatic maneuver capable of an aircraft recoveries in situations of deep stall, speed and altitude. This paper addresses the design and validation for APRS to recovery of an deep stall without manual pitch rocking by the pilot. Also, this system is designed to recovery of speed, attitude and altitude after deep stall recovery using ATCS (Automatic Thrust Control System) and autopilot. Finally, this system is verified by real-time pilot evaluation using HQS (Handling Quality Simulator).

전기자동차 충전스탠드의 제어파일럿 신호를 이용한 대역 내 통신 방식 (Inband Signaling on the Control Pilot of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment)

  • Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment(EVSE) is a system or an equipment to supply electric power for charging the traction batteries on the electric vehicle. Control Pilot is an electric signal generated by EVSE and is transmitted to the electric vehicle by a vehicle coupler and a contact. The duty cycle of control pilot determines the maximum current to be drawn by electric vehicle. When the duty cycle is 5%, it is indicated that digital communication is needed. This paper deals with the data format and definition about communication scheduling through the inband signal on the control pilot of EVSE.

Low-Band Type 능동형 현가제어를 위한 직동식 전자비례 감압밸브의 개발 (Development of a Direct-Operated Proportional Pressure Reducing Valve for Low-Band Type Active Suspension Control)

  • In general direct-operated pressure reducing valves have been gardly applied to a dynamic control system such as active suspension control because of their poor control stability. But they are more robust than pilot-operated type and do not need pilot control flow. In this paper development of a new direct-operated proportional pressure reducing valve for low-band type active suspension control is reported. By means of a special damper directly linked to the valve spool, the control stability could be effectively improved without drawback in response time. The linearity error was less than $\pm$3.5%. Applied to an experimental active suspension system the new valve showed the $-90^{\circ}$ phase delay at 4Hz with 20% sinusoidal signal input and could control the suspension system with almost same performance as that with a pilot-operated type valve.

우리나라 계통의 전압제어지역별 무효전력 예비율 산정 (The estimation of reactive power reserves of generators in voltage control areas of KEPCO systems)

  • Maintaining the voltages is important in the power systems and the voltage is closely associated with the reactive powers. Therefore, the voltages are maintained by controlling the reactive powers. However actually it is impossible to control reactive power for maintaining all bus voltages. Thus, Secondary Voltage Regulation was designed. It divides power systems into some control areas and controls pilot node with the included generators. The reactive powers of generators can control pilot bus voltage continuously and fast. Therefore we need to divide areas and select control generators for SVR with Electrical distance. Then estimation of the reactive power reserves of geneators is needed in voltage control areas to control voltages of the pilot nodes.

  • 본 논문은 무효전력 특성에 따라 나누어진 각 지역의 대표 pilot bus 전압을 기준으로 계통 전압을 제어함으로 계통 내에 모든 버스 전압을 통한 제어보다 효율적인 방법을 제시한다. Pilot bus 전압을 기준으로 하는 경우는 계통내 모든 버스의 전압을 기준으로 하는 경우에 비해 필요로 하는 정보의 양이 작을 것이므로 더 효율적이라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 IEEE 14 버스 시스템에서 특정 상정사고가 일어났을 경우를 가정으로 steady state voltage monitoring and control(SSVMC)를 통한 전압제어 시뮬레이션을 하였다. 모든 버스 전압을 기준으로 한 경우와 pilot bus 전압을 기준으로 SSVMC해준 경우를 비교 제시하였다.

  • 자동항법장치(Auto-Pilot System)에 의한 방향제어는 방위계측센서에 의해 계측된 위치 정보와 선미조타장치를 바탕으로 이루어진다. 대부분의 제어시스템들은 센서 잡음을 제외하고는 고장이 없는 계측장비와 고장없는 actuator를 가정하여 상태추정 빛 제어알고리듬을 구현하고 있다. 그러나 실제 상황에서는 이러한 가정이 위험한 경우가 많다. 즉, 방위 계측장비가 고장인 난 경우, 이 잘못된 위치 정보에 기초한 제어기능은 심각한 안전상의 문제까지도 야기시킬 수 있는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 개선된 위치정보처리 방법을 포함시킨 제어시스템을 Auto-Pilot 시스템에 적용하여 보았다. 그 방법으로 센서 고장 진단 및 actuator 고장 진단용 BJDF(Beard-Jones Detection Filter)를 설계하여 그 기능을 파악하였고 일반적인 상태변수추정기와의 차이점을 보였다. 특히 센서의 Bias Error의 경우 상태변수 확장기법을 이용하여 actuator 고장진단의 모형으로 모형화 할 수 있음을 보였다. 이로 인하여 센서 고장의 경우 2차원 평면에 국한된 residual이 일정 방향의 residual로 되므로 고장진단이 용이함을 알 수 있었다.

Failure Detection Filter for the Sensor and Actuator Failure in the Auto-Pilot System

  • Auto-Pilot System uses heading angle information via the position sensor and the rudder device to control the ship's direction. Most of the control logics are composed of the state estimation and control algorithms assuming that the measurement device and the actuator have no fault except the measurement noise. But such asumptions could bring the danger in real situation. For example, if the heading angle measuring device is out of order the control action based on those false position information could bring serious safety problem. In this study, the control system including improved method for processing the position information is applied to the Auto-Pilot System. To show the difference between general state estimator and F.D.F., BJDFs for the sensor and the actuator failure detection are designed and the performance are tested. And it is shown that bias error in sensor could be detected by state-augmented estimator. So the residual confined in the 2-dimension in the presence of the sensor failure could be unidirectional in output space and bias sensor error is much easier to be detected.

비행안전을 고려한 조종사 개인별 자질관리(IPQC)제도의 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of the Individual Pilot Quality Control System for Flight Safety)

  • IPQC system was introduced for the flight safety at the age of scientific safety management in the 1980s. In spite of performing this system, aircraft accidents caused by human factors, which were above 70% among all flight accident factors, have not been reduced. Accordingly, throughout this paper I analyzed the aircraft accident factors by means of a literature study and a pilot survey. Then, based on the notion of TQC(Total Quality Control), I hierarchically classified Individual Quality into Capacity Management, Safety Management, and General Management and did the low-ranked management factors as well. AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), one of the scientific management methods, was used for estimating the relative importance of Individual Quality Control factors and the heavy aircraft accident causes over the last 20 years were analyzed according to the flight ranks. Based on the comparative analysis of results derived above, an IPQC model as flight ranks is established. In short, according to this newly suggested model we can obtain the maximum flight safety with the preventive actions against aircraft accidents caused by human factors and by improving the operation effect under the reasonable pilot management.

이동국의 특성을 고려한 동적 핸드오프 (Dynamic Handoff Control Methods Considering the Characteristics of Mobile Station)

  • 본 논문에서 제안하는 동적 핸드오프 제어 방법(Dynamic Handoff Control Scheme: DHCS) 은 최적의 시점에 핸드오프 요구를 할 수 있도록 하기 위해 이동국(mobile station)의 속도를 측정하여 속도에 따른 핸드오프 요구 파일럿 세기(pilot strength)를 설정한다. 측정된 현재 기지국의 파일럿 세기가 핸드오프 요구 파일럿 세기보다 클 때, 즉 현재 기지국의 파일럿 세기가 충분히 커서 호가 절단될 가능성이 매우 낮다고 판단될 때 인접기지국의 파일럿 세기가 일정한 값보다 크더라도 핸드오프 요구를 안 하도록 한다. 또한 기지국의 입장에서는 핸드오프 호기 새로운 호에 비하여 우선적으로 처리할 뿐 아니라, 이동국에서 주기적으로 보내오는 큐 대기 종료 시간을 기준으로 우선 순위를 결정하여 시급한 호에 대하여 우선적으로 처리하도록 하여 이동국에 가능한 한 중단 없는 서비스를 제공하여 QoS(Quality of Service)를 보장하도록 하였다.

디젤 예혼합압축착화엔진에서 주연료 분사 후 점화 연료 분사 방법을 통한 점화 촉진과 배기가스 개선 효과 (Effects of Pilot Injection Method Following the Main Injection on Ignition Promotion and Exhaust Gas Reduction in a Diesel-Fueled HCCI Engine)

  • Diesel-Fueled HCCI(Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition) Engine is an advanced combustion process explained as a premixed charge of diesel fuel and air is admitted into the cylinder and compression ignited. It has possibility to reduce NOx by spontaneous auto-ignition at multiple points that allows very lean combustion resulting in low combustion temperatures. Also PM could be reduced by the premixed combustion and no fuel-rich zones. But HCCI couldn't be realized because of the difficulties in vaporizing the diesel, control of combustion phase directly. To solve these problems, new fuel injection strategy, explained as the pilot fuel injection to promote ignition near TDC following the main fuel injection at the extremely advanced timing, is applied during the compression ratio is varied from 18.9:1 to 27.7:1 This is not a pilot fuel to promote the ignition but also the direct control method of the combustion phase. Experimental result shows the pilot fuel injection promote the ignition and the compression ignition of the HCCI engine is achieved as compression ratio becomes higher. Also there is an optimal pilot fuel injection timing for the HCCI combustion. NOx is reduced more than 90% compared to DI-Diesel case but PM and THC emission needs more investigation.
