In this paper, we present a development of IP addresstranslator for virtual group network service and an application to Korea Information Infrastructure Pilot projects in Daeduk Science town network, This method can be a way to provide network service for limited virtual groups which are connected to a specialized network. Also this can be used to provide a new network environment for closed user groups in Intranet applications.

Recent Construction and Transportation R&D projects are larger in size, investment scale has been increasing rapidly. However, the results of Construction and Transportation in R & D are papers, patents and other results. So, the application record of R&D in the construction field is very lacking. In particular, Construction New Technology's ratio in the midst of R&D's results are about 2.29%. Therefore, this study suggested program that R&D's results has been connected Construction New Technology. The introduction of the new system has greatly increased Construction New Technology and the results of excellent &D will be applied in construction field. So, Cost-reduction and technology's improvement are expected.

Sustainable agriculture in Korea will gain important momentum by implementing The Direct Payment Scheme for Environmentally Friendly Agriculture in 1999. The farmers who want to participate in the program will be paid 530,000won/ha directly by the Government in return for engaging sustainable agriculture. The policy scheme which is a pilot program will be restricted to environmentally regulated areas to apply such as water supply protection zone, environmental protection districts and national parks. As a consequence of the policy, the supply of transitional organic agricultural products is expected to increase significantly. However the increased supply of low input agricultural products may have difficulties to find an appropriate marketing channel which is differentiated from the general agricultural product market. Development of an open market system for mass transaction of the low imput agricultural products is necessary. Also various government programs and projects which are designed for clean environment and regional community development must be integrated into the sustainable agriculture program to have synergy effects.

High-resolution satellite images at sub-5m footprint are becoming increasingly available to the earth observation community and their respective clients. The related cameras are all using linear array CCD technology for image sensing. The possibility and need for accurate 3D object reconstruction requires a sophisticated camera model, being able to deal with such sensor geometry. We have recently developed a full suite of new methods and software for the precision processing of this kind of data. The software can accommodate images from IKONOS, QuickBird, ALOS PRISM, SPOT5 HRS and sensors of similar type to be expected in the future. We will report about the status of the software, the functionality and some new algorithmic approaches in support of the processing concept. The functionality will be verified by results from various pilot projects. We put particular emphasis on the automatic generation of DSMs, which can be done at sub-pixel accuracy and on the semi-automated generation of city models.

In Korea, livestock has grown into the most value-added business in the agricultural and forest industry. But due to the recent outbreak of deadly infectious diseases such as foot-and-mount disease and avian influenza (AI), the demand for IT-enabled cutting-edge management system is getting stronger. As for humans, pilot projects and researches concerning U-healthcare have been carried out since early 2000. So this study explored the current progress of U-healthcare introduction, and suggested the strategies to develop technologies of collecting, processing, and utilizing information; to apply elements for a service model development and prioritization; to provide policy and institutional support. Therefore it is expected to vitalize the livestock U-healthcare in the future through continuous study based on these results.

The plenty of successful cases of Multi-national companies has been realized benefits of offshore outsourcing in particular "cost savings" from offshore IT outsourcing services, such as call center, software development, IT support and maintenance etc. A few Korean companies recently started to make the feasibility study of offshore IT outsourcing to catch up with the global trend. The objective of this study is to present the feasibility of offshore IT outsourcing of Korean companies through the analysis of pilot projects results between Indian and Chinese companies. The analysis include key elementsof cost, productivity, quality, practical issues as well as Gartner's framework, "AD Sourcing Cost Model", composed of 7 model factors. The findings of this study are not limited to understand offshore IT outsourcing but also provide useful guidelines covering wide range from the theoretical framework of selecting suitable offshore partner.

With the rapid development of microgrid technology, microgrid projects are no longer limited to laboratory demonstrations and pilot platforms. It shows greater value in practical applications. Hence, the smooth interaction between a microgrid and the main grid plays a critical role. In this paper, a control method based on active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) is proposed in order to realize seamless transitions between grid-connected and islanding operation modes and stable operation with variable loads. It is verified by simulations that the proposed ADRC-based method features better performance when compared to conventional proportional-integral-differential (PID) control. Meanwhile, the stability of the third-order extended state observer (ESO) in second-order ADRC is validated by using Lyapunov stability criteria.

Only a few researchers highlighted the implementation of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification. These neglected the importance of analyzing the different trajectories of the relations of production in Indonesian palm oil development. As a result, there is a prevailing doubtful attitude on ISPO legitimation. This paper aims to identify how independent smallholder pilot projects give meaning to ISPO legitimation and implementation. It explores production relations in a smallholder community, focusing on land ownership, the formation of a cooperative, and response capability in cases of failure. This paper reveals that the project brought greater understanding to the community with regards to sustainability, as well as strengthened cooperation between the company and the cooperative. This, despite the community's confronting the same problems of land legality as other independent farmers, as the community is located inside the company concession (Hak Guna Usaha, HGU).

A number of documents containing important and useful knowledge have been generated over time in the construction industry. Such text-based knowledge plays an important role in the construction industry for decision-making and business strategy development by being used as best practice for upcoming projects, delivering lessons learned for better risk management and project control. Thus, practical and usable knowledge creation from construction documents is necessary to improve business efficiency. This study proposes a knowledge creating system from construction documents using text mining and the design comprises three main steps - text mining preprocessing, weight calculation of each term, and visualization. A system prototype was developed as a pilot study of the system design. This study is significant because it validates a knowledge creating system design based on text mining and visualization functionality through the developed system prototype. Automated visualization was found to significantly reduce unnecessary time consumption and energy for processing existing data and reading a range of documents to get to their core, and helped the system to provide an insight into the construction industry.

Recently, a large fire occurred in a multi-use facility used by a large number of citizens, including the vulnerable, resulting in a lot of injuries and damages. Although several pilot studies have been conducted to reduce such incidents, the development of advanced disaster response technology using the latest spatial information and IoT technology is still insufficient. In this study, a pilot test bed is built to demonstrate detailed technologies derived through the first stage of realistic fire management technology research for the development of applied technology in the field. In detail, the building conditions and candidate sites of the test bed were first investigated and analyzed to derive satisfactory conditions and candidate target buildings. A second pilot test bed was then selected, and the necessary sensor and facility infrastructure were built to demonstrate the outcomes. Finally, a scenario was produced for technology verification, and a test bed system was developed. The pilot test bed is expected to contribute to verifying intermediate outcomes of realistic fire management research projects, enhancing the quality of the developed technologies.
