Performance Analysis of 3D Color Picker in Virtual Reality (가상현실 3차원 색상 선택기의 성능 분석)

  • In a virtual environment, a 3D workspace and 3D interaction are possible, but most virtual reality applications use a 2D color picker. This paper implements a 3D color picker based on 3D color space in a virtual environment, and compares color selection performance with the existing 2D color picker. The 3D color picker is intuitive by using the 3D color space as it is, and it can position the 3D pointer at a specific point in the color space using a controller, which is a virtual reality device, so a user can select a color in one step. On the other hand, the 2D color picker has the advantage of being familiar with existing users who work with colors in a computer environment, but has a disadvantage that requires several steps of user interaction since it has to set color properties through 2D interfaces. Based on user experiments, we confirmed the usefulness of a 3D color picker in addition to a 2D color picker in a virtual environment, and it was possible to perform natural 3D work in a virtual environment using the 3D color picker.

  • 웹을 중심으로 인터넷이 발전하면서 웹 기반의 응용 서비스가 계속적으로 개발되고 있고, 사용자의 다양한 욕구가 추진 원동력이 되고 있다. 현재 대부분의 인터넷 서비스는 텍스트뿐만 아니라 그림, 소리, 동영상 등 여러 가지 다양한 미디어를 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이렇게 다양한 미디어가 어디서, 어떻게 사용되었는지를 분석하기 위하여 웹 환경에서의 분산 미디어 분석을 위한 Web Media Picker를 제안하고자 한다. Web Media Picker를 이용하면 웹 페이지에서 사용된 각각의 태그를 분석할 수 있고, 이렇게 분석한 정보를 통하여 각각의 미디어의 사용 횟수와 미디어가 웹 페이지 상에서 사용된 방법에 대하여 알 수 있다.

Order Batch Formations for Less Picker Blocking in a Narrow-Aisle Picking System

  • This paper analyses the best batch formations for order picking throughput in narrow-aisle order picking systems. Our analytical comparison finds that a high pick density variation leads to a heavy picker blocking. Simulation experiments show that a distance-based batching algorithm reduces picker blocking by decreasing the number of aisles visited and stabilizing the variation in number of picks per aisle by packing orders tightly, and that the solution quality and mechanism for determining the batch size dictated by the sorting strategy causes varying amounts of blocking. We conclude that combining a distance-based batching method with an appropriate batch sizing strategy will reduce picker blocking and shorten travel in narrow-aisle picking systems.

  • 1990년대 중반에 일어나기 시작한 인터넷 열풍은 웹을 통한 인터넷의 확산으로, 웹 기반 서비스의 발전을 가져왔다. 현재 대부분의 인터넷 서비스는 HTTP를 사용한 일정한 형식의 웹 페이지로, 사용자가 최종적으로 받아보게 되는 형식은 HTML의 태그로써 나타내어진다. 어떠한 태그를 어떻게 사용하였느냐에 따라 그 웹 페이지는 사용자가 사용하기 편리할 수도 있고, 사용하는데 불편할 수도 있다. 따라서 웹사이트의 개발자는 사용자가 편리함과 친숙성을 느낄 수 있도록 웹사이트를 개발해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이률 해결하기 위해 웹 페이지 분석을 위한 Web-Picker를 제안하고자 한다. Web-Picker를 이용하면 사용자들이 자주 방문하는 웹 페이지의 태그를 분석할 수 있고. 이렇게 분석한 정보를 통해 새로운 웹사이트를 개발하는 개발자들은 사용자가 친숙성과 편리함을 느낄 수 있도록 웹사이트를 개발 할 수 있다.

  • 3D interaction between humans and computers has been possible with the popularization of virtual reality, and it is important to study natural and efficient virtual reality user interfaces. In user interface development, it is essential to analyze and evaluate user factors. In order to analyze the influence of factors on users who use the virtual reality color picker, this paper divides the user groups based on whether they major in art or design, whether they have experience in virtual reality, and whether they have prior knowledge about 3D color space. The color selection error and color selection time of all user groups were compared and analyzed. Although there were statistically significant differences according to the user groups, all user groups used the virtual reality color picker accurately and effectively without any difficulties.

Conceptual Constructs of Patient Centeredness: Perspective of Patients and Family Members (환자중심성의 개념적 구성 요소: 환자와 가족구성원의 관점)

  • Purpose:The objective of this study was to identify the conceptual constructs of patient centeredness from the perspective of patients and family members in Korea, and to compare them with those included in the Picker Institute framework. Methods: Two focus group discussions were conducted. Each focus group consisted of six participants who had experienced being either a patient or a caregiver. We carried out a thematic analysis, and then compared the contents of our focus group discussions with the components of patient-centered care outlined by the Picker Institute. Results: Six conceptual constructs of patient centeredness emerged from the focus group discussions. Five of these overlapped with those outlined by the Picker Institute: 1)respect for patients' values, preferences, and needs, 2) coordination and integration of care, 3) information, communication, and education, 4) physical comfort, and 5) emotional support and alleviation for fear and anxiety. A new component that was not mentioned in the Picker Institute framework emerged from this study: "ease of making a complaint." Currently, "involvement of family and friends" and "continuity and transition" were not prominent components of patient centeredness according to our focus group discussions. Conclusions: This study presents the conceptual constructs of patient centeredness, five of which overlap with those outlined by the Picker Institute, and provides a qualitative basis of the patient experience survey currently being implemented by the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service in Korea.

  • 오늘날 인터넷이 보편화되면서 수많은 정보들이 빠른 시간 내에 갱신되고 있지만 사용자들은 필요로 하는 정보가 언제 갱신되는지 알지 못해서 동일 웹페이지를 반복적으로 접근한다. 이렇게 정보의 갱신을 확인하기 위하여 동일 웹사이트를 여러 번 방문하는 일은 너무나 번거롭고 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 웹픽커 (Web-Picker)를 이용한 템포럴 메세징 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 사용자가 등록한 웹 페이지들을 웹픽커는 주기적으로 접속하여 검색하고, 웹 페이지에서 사용자가 필요로 하는 정보가 갱신된 경우 그 정보를 사용자에게 e-mail로 자동으로 전송해주는 시스템이다.

To do this, Past Algorithm is Studied. It's Easy to Introduce and this Study is Looking for Method about the Noticing of Order Picker. The Algorithm will Improve to be Adapt to Standard Process System.

  • 웹을 중심으로 인터넷이 발전하면서 웹 기반의 응용 서비스가 계속적으로 개발되고 있고, 대부분의 인터넷 정보들은 웹 페이지 단위로 저작되고 관리되고 있다. 웹 페이지는 일정한 형태인 HTML의 태그로써 나타내어지고, 텍스트뿐만 아니라 그림, 소리, 동영상 등의 여러 가지 미디어를 사용하여 사용자에게 다양한 정보를 제공하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 페이지에서 사용되고 있는 다양한 미디어 중에서도 특히 이미지를 수집하기 위한 Web Image Picker를 제안하고자 한다. 이는 여러 웹 페이지들의 주소를 입력받아 해당 웹 서버에 접속하여 웹 페이지를 가져오고, 가져온 웹 페이지에서 사용된 이미지 태그를 분석한다. 분석된 이미지 정보를 통해 이미지의 사용 횟수를 알 수 있고, 또한 이미지 파일들을 자동으로 수집할 수 있다.

  • he FPCs(Flexible Printed Circuit) are currently used in several electronic products like digital cameras, cellular phones because of flexible material characteristics. Because the FPC is usually small size and flexible, only one FPC should not enter chip mounting process, instead, several FPCs is placed on the large rigid pallette and go to the chip mounting process. Currently the job of mounting FPC on the pallette is carried by totally manual way. Thus, the goals of the research is develop the automatic machine of FPC mounting on pallette using vision alignment. The procedure of operating machine is firstly to measure alignment error of FPC, correct alignment errors, and finally mount well-aligned FPC on the pallette. The vision technology is used to measure alignment error accurately, and precision motion control is used in correcting errors nd mounting FPC. The two picker heads handling two FPC together is used to increase the productivity.
